#Drivers not installing - “Setup will only run in administrator mode”

This is the only user account on the computer
Try a different driver?
Could be sketchy
What device are you trying to install?
Gpu, straight from dell website
I also tried installing BIOS update, also same issue
If its dell use Dell SupportAssistant
Dell support assistant works decently
Also check in users if this account has admin rights
That’s a new thing for me.
Windows S mode basically jank mode as it’s hyper convoluted towards the app store
Only windows app are mighty and trusted , when is windows going to stop supporting normal software. This feels like a step backwards
its debatable... you have power users vs basic users vs lost users ... lol
try explaining that to Apple
😂
Well that’s different, they never had any open space to begin with.
You know when you buy apple you have to work around their closed system.
It never was open, while with windows you have some open space to move files around. Apple gives you a partially space to work with
And if you don’t like that? Well not for the user to decide
And Linux says you want to delete your system files? Go ahead!
It’s a certain degree of freedom in each OS I am accustomed and not liking it if it becomes more like Apple where the AppStore is all you have
freedom of choice? whats that? jk .... remember... its always.... "for your safety" 😂
Have you fixed it?
