#Could I use this to power a 16-pin GPU?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what gpu exactly?
6800xt
you use 2 separate cables of 6+2 and not the 6+2 and it's pigtail
a 4+ 4 pin is for cpu only
So what does the pigtail do?
on some older gpu's you could use the pigtail instead of using a second cable
but on a much newer gpu it's highly not wise to do so
Thanks for the help

If I'm being honest I'm just gonna stick with the 750gm. I've heard the PSU is fine unless you overstress it, and that the new revision supposedly fixed the issue. Don't blame yourself if I report back to this thread in a months time with a picture of my burnt down house 🤣. Thanks for the help.
