#Fishy performance on my prebuilt

try enabling performance mode in nvidia control panel
What tab is that
trying to remember
when enabled, the gpu will run at full clock speed no matter what youre doing
helps a ton with performance
Yeah, also I was gonna say overclocking didn't work
strange
did you fresh windows on it?
also, is the 3060TI an OEM version or a standard one
it's a MSI Ventus 2x OC edition
no idea then
yeah it doesn't add any performance at all
Well it wasn't working so I was trying higher values
Do you need to restart after changing the setting in control panel?
Alright lemme try it out
well it helped just a bit, that or it was just a coincidence
also I forgot to mention the guy that got better performance than me was running at 1080p while I'm running at 768p
and he had worse hardware
I'm starting to think something is wrong with my pc
@lofty sphinx
no idea why your gpu is underperforming
it could be a cpu bottleneck since I'm running at lower resolution but still I'd be getting better performance
might not be the gpus problem, if you have another rig you can test the gpu there and see if the gpu underperforms or if its another component botlenecking it
try 1080
or 1440
let me test
768p might be the reason
It's getting worse performance
The guy's benchmark was getting 90 with worse hardware in 1080p, I got 60 average with 768p, and like 35 average in 1080p]
whats the system utilization like?
Like in general?
Individual components
Hold on
I'm gonna send both 1080p and 768p results
this is gpu 1080p
cpu 1080p
ram 1080p
very weird
also very loud
