ye its a laptop
You should have 10-20% of your SSD free.
its about 3 years old
Yeah. SSDs dont really age with time.
You should be worried, so I answer your question.
It doesn"t mean it will die, but don't store important stuff on it, or at least without backup.
would you class windows being important lol
It can die. One day it will start corrupting files.
What?
I said dont store anything important on it
I dont know if you use it just for Windows
If you store anything in Pictues, Documents or Videos folders and you didnt change their paths, then those files are at risk
just programs realy nothing i cant redownload i store all my games and other stuff on two servers
Well, then your answer is here. You just risk a headache that one day you will have to reinstall everything.
44°C is a bit high. Not the worst, but if this is idle, I am curious about temps while playing
128GB can die faster as/if they have only 1 or 2 NAND chips.
i dont have games installed to teh SSD and my computer always runs hot its a laptop i think they designed it with the intention of it heating my room at the same time
xd feel ya. I have plasma TV from (pre-)2010s and I dont need heater in winter.
the ones i worry about the most is these two is this normal
Well just double check if you really dont have like projects or smthing stored in your user/home folder or those previously mentioned "libreries"
Look up the rated TDP or how is it called for your SSD
It's TBW (terabytes written)
And in future I recommend checking this option in CrystalDiskInfo:
Just to show you my SSDs.
what can someone do with the serial number
Theoretically somebody could either register the drive to their account, file a warranty claim on it (douche move) or creepy stuff like track you.
ow
I dont mean by software, I never heard about that.
But if you would resell the drive, they could connect two and two together from liek ebay listing...
