Hello my MSI RTX 3060 currently idles around 55-60 degrees celsius. I used to have a GTX 970 that idled aorund 35-40 so i cant help but feel this is quite high. I have had this card for around 6 months now and it was only recently i opened up NZXT cam to check idle temps and noticed, so im not sure if it has always been like this
#High GPU idle temp.

I just looked in task manager it seems the only thing using noticeable amount of GPU is Service Host: Game DVR and broadcast
Stop that task also use hwinfo to check gpu temps or gpu-z
I have an MSI 3070 gaming trio x and that gets to 55c while gaming. At idle it is 35c, and I have an issue where GPU usage is at 100% usage by Desktop Window Manager. So yours sounds kind of high. What sort of case fans and cooling do you have?
yh tbh while gaming mine is fine, great performance and under load max temp is only 60 degrees. My fan arrangement is quite weird untill i get a new (bigger case) i have to have my rad on the front so thats got 2 fans that pull air out and then the ceiling top fans are intake and one next to the io is also intake
55-60c idle is fine
yh ive never seen it above like 63 even maxxing out settings in heavy games
can you take a pic of your fan orientation in your case
Sry very bad pic but basically two on rad pull air out of the case and the two top left are intake fans
So yh nothing really gives the gpu fresh air
But I’m getting a Corsair 4000d airflow very soon where I can mount the rad on top and have 3 front intake fans
why don't you have them set to exhaust?
