no i have integrated gpu
It still applies?
You still need a driver for integrated gpu
nah i have driveers
yes
Hmm what cpu do you have?
yes but i need that gpu for simple gaming
What happens when you try to game on it?
it dosent work so it uses the integreated gpu
Intel graphics is the integrated
yas
What do you see when you are gaming
bad preformance
cuz it uses the integreated gpu
What games?
valorant,minecraft,fortnite
There is no dedicated gpu in this system
Oh it has a gt 740m you could have said it had another gpu in it lol
Oh idk if the gt740m is even supported by Nvidia anymore driver wise
You can try and find one in their site and see if it works but if it doesn't then it might be time for an upgrade if you wanna game on it.
you know what
ill buy a pc
Why not build one especially if black Friday is coming up sales will be happening
nvm i got no money rn
@celest sinew
Yo
Im a bit late
But im getting this problem too now
I have a gtx 960
2 of them
One is 4gb and the other is 2
I've been getting this error since i tried to update game ready driver
Oh dear well if they are code 43 you could try and reinstall the drivers but likely those gpus are done for
Ohh
Theres no drivers for those anymore?
The gpu still functions really well
On any game
It'd be a waste
No that could'nt be the problem actually
Cuz i have updated it before from the same method
In the nvidia app
Just clicked install
And it worked before
So why doenst it now
Yeah it could be to be honest
But i have used it for about 5 weeks
I mean those gpus are older than 5 weeks the gtx 960 came out in 2015
And part can fail at any time there isn't really a set time for them to fail.
You can go back to older drivers if they just removed support at some point for a given card, so long as the hardware hasn't failed no reason can't keep using em but like Thor said too there isn't some fixed death date from time of mfg for any given component is somewhat random (weakest link/component brings down the device usually either fans or capacitors but can be anything)
Looks like 960 is still using some of the latest versions so should itself still be fine but eventually they do start removing support for older GPUs in the latest driver packages
I think i had the one from May 19
Then installed the June 17 one
And thats when i got the error code
Could it be that they removed support
In the newest update?
I used ddu tho
And installed the May 19th one again
But still didnt work
hmm yeah would double check if the old driver install is "stuck" and hasn't been overridden by windows already, but if roll back didn't help card might be borked (maybe they should have removed it from latest driver releases and didn't), I'd check the version if good power off reseat the card and check if fixes itself but otherwise would assume is dead most likely (can try another machine too just to be sure sure)
I've done all of these
