A second hand Lamzu Maya X? or a Lamzu Maya 4k
Ok thx
Yo
I want to buy my first gaming mice and I have choose three options
- Redragon m916 lit 1k
- Redragon m724 ultra light
- Redragon m809
I mainly play Minecraft and valorant
In the future I’m hoping to play halo, cod, apex, fortnite
Help me decide yall
Not from reddragon
Well there’s limited options
Where are u buying from tho
yea, which country r u buying from
such that redragon is somehow a good brand
Sri Lanka
My budget is 5-6k rupees which 16$ and 19$
No aliexpress or anything
I can order from aliexpress
good
order from it then
rapoo, mchose
two good china brands
Whatcha think about the vxe v3 pro?
Hey, I wanted to buy a keyboard I was wondering if you guys think the Rainy 75 is good
Hey guys im looking for a good headphone to listen to music, play games. But i dont want the "gaming" headphones. Anyone recommend my anything? I have now the Audio Technica M50x
Those are supposed to be good... Depends on your budget, though sound is highly subjective and what sounds good to you might not be the same as what sounds good to me.
But I'd recommend open back headphones. Sennheiser HD598 or HD58X works well if you don't have an amplifier, but some people find Sennheiser and open back headphones to be too neutral
I like this ones but the ear thing the leather is starting to break
I will have a look at those ones, do you by any chance recommend a wireless one?
Earpads? You can get new earpads, Dekoni audio have very good replacement earpads
This parts
Not really, I don't have much experience with wireless headphones myself, too many drawbacks imo. Sennheiser Momentum 4(?) is supposed to be good and the Sony whatever ä, though I personally use Quietcomfort ultra as they are among the few that fit my big Dumbo-ears. Not the greatest sound though
Yup, earpads, Dekoni should have them for M50x
they ship to portugal?
Probably, there's a reseller in Netherlands that ship to Finland at least
anyone can recommend a kvm switch for
dp output, usbc/thunderbolt output, usb-c output, usb-a output,
and
usb-a input x2 (duh, kb+m, although they are high hz but idk if that matters), 3x video inputs (1 laptop with only usb c, one macbook hdmi, one for dp from a gpu)
does this even exist?
good for beginners ig
I mostly like it because it looks pretty, do you know any better options?
just buy boards you like
preference is king
there’s also the wave75 if you’re interested
Okay, thank you!
Smash
Damn
There are plenty of 3 input KVMs but I'm not sure about your use case, if I even follow, Level1techs KVM is probably your best bet, though very expensive.
the thai sublegend👍
got it
Wait, if there are plenty 3 input ( you mean 3 output for video+data? )
Shouldn’t it be fine then?
Im not doing split BS anymore
I actually like full bs on 60
better keycap compatibility and it looks nicer IMO
From FB Marketplace. Good condition, and only half the retail price :D
Is the delux m400 a good mouse for gaming?
Not sure, I assume you use your gpu with your laptop and that would require inputs from both being output simultaneously, which is a bit of an edge case that might not be supported by all KVMs
no, i have 2 laptops and a normal pc
Then you should be fine with something like this https://www.kvm-switch.de/en/kvm-switches/3-port-kvm-switches/
Mac support could be a limiting factor though
is there smth special with macs? do they require some special cert for the peripherals?
if you’re not playing FPS competitively you’re fine
just find a good shape and you’re fine
looks nice, but not sure about 2 monitors
wanted to get a new keyboard for my pc since my old one is getting a bit fucked, (previous was a gk61, 60%) ideally i want a 100% keyboard, some decently sounding switches (ideally more quiet) and some minimal rgb
if anyone can help me since i dont really know what im doing it’d be greatly appreciated
can u do with a 96%
good 100% are rare
yeah then fs
budget?
i just want to be able to not need to press FN when i want to click any other button than the alphabet
kinda amenable, just send good ones you’d recommend
im UK btw
most keebs are ANSI but kchron has options like the v5
which i personally use
it’s fine
but the one on sale is the max ver and i don’t use that
with all due respect i have 0 idea what half of those words mean
keychron v5, search it up
idk if anyone has better recs tho
ANSI meaning?
a 96% for reference
small enter
oh
this is ANSI
I have the tkl version on my wishlist
There's QK101 but then you have to be comfortable building it. And paying for it.
ND104 could be a slightly cheaper option
Ticktype DP104 is another that seems better than ND104
Can't find one anywhere 😔
buy a keyboard
I like playing one-handed, got the other one on my joystick 😜
razer moba?
I like the G-Shift. Otherwise, a Red Dragon would do. Razer is too pricey, and Red Dragon software is lacking. Can't find the Razor mouse in Canada anyways...
fattest enter ever
you won't belive me if I say that its actual name is "big ass enter"
bruh
i was looking for a budget keyboard within 50-70 USD, preferably magnetic switches but linear work fine aswell any suggestions
neo98
That's a funky looking Enter key
Is the inphic a9 wireless good budget? Im using an aula f805 right now
Or should I get the atk vxe dragonfly r1
My classmate has the A9, and he complains a lot about latency, which wasn't ideal for shooter and other certain games
Meanwhile, I'm using the F9 and it's alright from my experience
Ok thanks i wont get that since 60% of the reason im lookking for a new mouse is shooter games
What f9?
Inphic F9
Don't just take my advice, btw. You should probably do your own research
I only got my mouse because my cousin also had that mouse in the past 🙃
When i did the results were all over the place
The funny thing is that I was supposed to be getting a wired Inphic W9 mouse, but I ended up getting the wireless Inphic F9 instead 🙃
Yeah, I can definitely see why you asked here lol
It's fine tho
This is kinda normal in some more unheard-of brands, unlike Logitech, Razer, etc.
you could try researching mchose and rapoo
i personally use monka m3 but since i’m not an FPS player a 3395 is overkill
atk better
Ok thank you
New IEM:s. bring on the hate you snobs 😅
why would the snobs hate them
I wanted to buy those so I'm curious
People on the interwebs seem to like doing that, just preparing myself 😄
Oh also, they're on sale at Linsoul with free shipping, at least for me as an EU citizen. For $150 I couldn't be more pleased tbh.
I am sure there's things that are better looking at specs and curves etc - but there's always something ''better'' out there, subjectively anyway.
yeah honestly though you can get stuff that objectively measure perfectly (barring sound profile preferences) for like $10-20 though so I think people go overboard
and then the rest of everything else you can technically tune with a parametric eq if you are a super nerd
Possible. I have a few $20-30 pairs, and they don't produce the same detail, not even close.
TBF, I bought these mainly for gaming and some music listening as a second task.
I now hear footsteps and small details I previously didn't 😅
all in all - I am happy enough with what I got for the price.
detail is something you can add back in with EQ though
but i am not very good at that
maybe i have to be careful how much time i spend in #audio-tech
I might be using the incorrect wording.
When I say detail, i mean the resolution or sound stage probably and frequencies that are there/not there
I’ve tried eq:ing my Chu 2:s as well but I can’t bring certain things out of them, gotten me killed by not being able to hear certain audio queues.
they're uncomfortable for me
can't say the same for everyone else
but they're a pain to put on
ya gotta put them around your ear and that's a hassle ngl
Yeah that's kinda how most IEMS work 🤔
but technically all of those are just frequency response and if you know what you're doing, can EQ
unless it's like, extremely far off but most decent stuff isnt
Not really
I mean this gets discussed like once every 2 weeks in #audio-tech and it seems to be a pretty clear consensus, I don't believe I misstated it at all though
I guess it could be slightly affected by your perception of ear being plugged, but all iems will feel like that so that's more iem vs open back
Every transducer has limits to how much you can eq them before distorting
Well that's why I tried to specify as long as it's still in the ballpark from the start, so obviously don't try to apply an autoeq that puts +10 dB
which iems are distorting 10db above some kind of sane listening level like 80db
iems basically have no measurable properties outside of fr
also where am I
@worldly garden
just got one of the coolest keyboards I've ever got
Lelelabs y2k 76
so much cool shit
yeah
such a cool ass board
has an oled screen with full animations, QMK / VIA compatible, LED matrix, USB hub, Knob, XT column, insane underglow and key LED, and "suspension mount"
pretty happy with this board i won't lie
And u said….hunidity and temp sensor
What good atk shark keyboards are wireless and good on a budget i tried searching some up and google gave me this list
I was gonna go for the atl shark R85He but i found out its not wireless
well what are you after in a keyboard?
HE and Wireless don't go great together
Good polling rate wireless mechanical and if possible hall effect since I heard atk shark has some good budget wireless options
Oh i see
standard polling rate is 1k for most of their wired keyboards
goes down to 500 on 2.5ghz and 125 on bt iirc
for HE 8k is standard for them
So what should I go for? A wireless since Ill use it for 60% games and 40% of my actual tasks
honestly?
just get a non he
it sounds better, you don't have to worry about battery life while on wireless
Whats the standard for polling rate on their none he?
1000
I researched on the list google gave and I got this one
atleast in wired mode
It says its he and “wireless” but i dont see it there
I don't even know anymore
I have a rule60 coming my way that I'm going to get some NK creams on
it's going to be great
Youre better off getting tmr
Whats that
No
U just said “very nice” LMAO
For those that use IEM:s on the daily.
Do any of you use different size ear tips? My right side, I usually wear a small and on my left I have to wear a medium size tip or it ends up slipping out (insert ''that's what she said'' jokes here).
i would, but the differences are too big, so 90% of the time i use the same size, but usually my right sits very slightly lose while my left is a bit too tight
just do whatever feels and sounds good, or get custom ones.
if they are more on the tight side but swapping to a smaller one would be too small, what can help a lot is pressing down on the ear tip before inserting so it expands in your ear. you can rub it slightly to make it warmer to help it a bit more.
i do that on my left ear, but on the right ear i dont
Topbruh
Alice tine
then swapped it to my poseidon
neo ergo?
I want to get one so bad
I can't justify another board right now
P/p wised better than neo ergo
I've got 3 coming to me
Nope
Those are $15 brand new here
I got it for like 15 GBP

the only reason I got it is because of the stupid SA keycap set that I got
it only supports standard ansi
that and because I destroyed my other venom pcb..
50$ down the fucking drain
Kekw
This style of cable, does it have a name? The twisted style.
Looking to get a new cable for my keyboard, and I am over paracord ones as they pick up dust and grime to easy.
aviator cable
wait
maybe that's not right because i think usually they're braided
the only thing i can think of is twisted, or twisted pair
silicone braided cable with lemo connector
All that's left is the switches and numpad, but this is what it's going to look like.
Im looking to buy a keyboard, so far ive been using one i got off temu years ago, but i want to finally get something better, my friend recommended me the logitech g413 SE US because it doesnt have those annoying borders. That being said i dont really have any knowledge on what keyboards would be good at that price range. The price of this keyboard is around 60-70 euro. Is the logitech one a good choice or would you guys have recommendations you think are better? Would rather keyboard be 100% if that matters
that’s tb lmao
logitech? ew
(jk)
anyways
there are better options
cough cough keychron
I mean, im more than open for suggestions considering, but i do need more specific models so i can narrow down what im looking at
look in keychron’s website, see what you like
Very nice
anyone iem recommendation?????? my requirements- cheap looks nice for editing gaming and songs and again cheap
@smoky valley
truthear gate
also that should probably be #audio-tech
how are they compared to moon drop chu 2
i got the kefine klean recently, as multiple of the most reknown IEM testers had them as their best neutral/clear/accurate sounding ones and my moondrop spacetravel sounds like free headphones that used to come with phones in comparison.
planning to build my mom a new keyboard for her birthday in may; she currently has a varmilo with MX browns and she does like it, but i think i could win her over with some holy panda-style switches
any recs?
preferably something with clear housings that can let RGB shine through
Does anyone know of any good bunny peripherals
no idea if its any good
but i found this
is rawm a good brand of mice?
If possible i would also like some second opinions, so far the only keyboards ive been referred to are the logitech g413 se us and keychron, though for keychron im not seeing many options that arent too expensive or that have the numpads, which is something i like having
tanchijm bunny, gk kunten, kinere celest wyvern, hmm
dozens
alot of sub $20 iem's
truthear red thing
buy her a new varmilo
she chosen a relic that last forever
it needs to have bluetooth capability
They have bth nơe
oh neat
a LOT has hanged in IEM market sinse 2022. those were the meta, and then a new wave dethroned that, and then another 3y has passed so now i’m kompletely out of date, and so are you
Thats $60 but its good
is it me or do i use a Handy cam as my main web cam and it looks better than my laptop cam
the handy cam is kinda old
Laptop cams are notoriously trash it's hard to make small sensor that performs well, smartphone cams have gotten a lot better but because they are a main selling point and spec people compare in phones
this any good?
what games do you play?
would you be willing to pay more for better picture quality?
have you had experience with curved monitors before?
shooters, platformers and rpgs. depends on how much more. and no i have limited experience with curved monitors.
you are in the US, right?
yes
at 250$ and 350$ we enter new display technologies that, for most people who can afford it, is definitely worth the upgrade, if they want their games to look good
guessing from your games, that doesnt really seem to be the case, is it?
technically at 350 you would also get a lot better motion clarity, but just for that its not worth it
IPS generally best for text clarity if use it for general browsing or coding and reading then are typically nicer OLED can go completely off if no backlight so deep black typically but are the big differences from generic LCD with backlight (first curved monitor I got has higher than average refresh rates but text always looked glimmery/fuzzy especially when small fonts) IPS gets rid of that but can't necessarily get full black like OLED
The curve felt like it was noticeable for only a short period of time you get used to it pretty quick but not sure I really felt there was an advantage (newer ips one is flat but bigger too so takes up more field of view anyway)
The 180Hz on that listing contradicted by its own thumbnails too so I'd assume it's actually 144Hz at native res but seems a little disingenuous Amazon listing wise
The extra 40Hz not gonna matter if you aren't pumping out frames as fast as it's refreshing you get to see the same image twice, even if adds to some perceived smoothness is kinda nothing burger, moving from 30-60 or 60-120 there's some noticeable smoothness but beyond that pretty sure is bigger number better advertising... Having support for free sync or gsync between GPU and display to avoid tearing makes more of qol difference
I think modern oleds have fixed the problem but any oled that has bad subpixel layouts and/or lacking software to fix it looks absolutely atrocious idk why they ever made those types
the text clarity issue only exists in 1st and 2nd gen WOLED
QD OLED never had this problem, tandem WOLED fixed it with their new subpixel layout.
how much of a difference there is in Hz that you perceive as meaningful is subjective.
to some people (like me) that is reached at ~100 already. for others, they sperceive a meaningful difference going from 480 to 540.
studies have shown most people can perceive at least minor difference in the 10-20k Hz range, with the highest result being almost 40k Hz where someone could easily tell if it had more or less Hz.
peopel and their eyes are different.
also IPS is LCD.
there are different LCD types like TN, VA and IPS as the most common ones.
also the issues and advantages with curved monitors are also about concerns about viewing angle, e.g. if the monitor is only watched when in the perfect spot or maybe also as a kind of TV to watch videos when sittign in another part of the room and also that curved monitors are awkward to use as a secondary display once you upgrade.
truly appreciate the effort but there was more misinformation than information in shauns text
Mmm hmm all those games you play at 500FPS
Hey, I’m thinking about upgrading my setup but I’m not sure what would make the biggest difference.
What would you upgrade first in my situation?
- Upgrade my second monitor (currently just a basic 60Hz 1080p, used for Discord/browser, not gaming)
- Switch to IEMs (currently using an Astro A50 Gen 4)
- Get a new mouse (currently using a Logitech G502 Lightspeed)
Curious what you’d prioritize and why.
i would usually ask for preferences and circumstances or budget
but this one is ver yeasy, get some IEMs
Kiwi ears?
moondrop spacetravel 2 if you want very entry level wireless ones (technically not called IEMs bc they are wireless)
great to have some earbuds for travel and way better than any 100$ earbud u can findm, while costing a quarter of it
otherwise, i'd recommend watching IEM buying guides, although most roads right now lead to the kefine klean ~50$
especially for an entry into IEMs
their sound is very standardised, how the average human likes their sound to be and very close to what they try to replicate, from there u could later get something with more bass, or whatever soundprofile you might want to explore
How big would you consider the sound difference between my Astro a50 gen4 and the kiwi astrals, ik the difference is probably big but is it that noticeable for someone who is used to the a50 and has never had anything else
why the kiwi astrals?
they are just regular IEMs
they just cost more.
if u are into the aesthetics i can find you some for 40 bucks that look and sound just as good
truth about IEMs is, the drivers are so small, the most expensive ones can be sold with profit for 30$
sure you can make the cable and packaging premium or idk... use real gold in the paint for no rreason, but other than that, and especially beyond 50-70$ its just marketing BS and corporations baiting people in that think more money means they will get sth better and can brag to their friends, when in reality, the only difference was the price
probably iems or new mouse. whichever you think is lacking most
Hi, can yall help? Im looking for a nice cheap 1440p ips monitor. Currently have 9070xt and will upgrade to 7500f soon. Idk what to really look at apart from hz, " and the price.
thats quite abundant these days i think you can get some decent ones around 200$
Im looking at the store rn, they have a deal for around 200 dollars for msi mag 275qf, any thoughts on it?
heres 3 i found on best buys website. would recommend looking for yourself and maybe asking follow up questions on some you find.
i mean it looks fine. its a cheap ips lol
I think 180hz with wider screen will be better since im not playing like esports titles where 240hz actually matters
is there any guide on the diferences between oled type and generations? I keep seeing people mention "x gen" and whatever but whats the actual difference?
Is the attacl shark x65he pro good?
As a budget clone, yes
Ok ty
I just got these IEMs for a good price
Now I think I finally finished my setup for both normal use and for streaming
✅ Mic
✅ Earbuds (IEMs)
✅ Silent keyboard and mouse
What mouse is that?
Looks visually interesting.
Appears to be the Inphic F9 Mecha
unearthed from my mom's pack rat horde
i don't remember using this one as a kid; i think my dad didn't like it and opted for this logitech membrane one instead, so this thing probably sat in storage the whole time
no wonder why it's in pristine condition
What mouse do you guys recommend for both productivity and gaming? I've done some quick research and am currently deciding between Razer Basilisk V3 vs Logitech G502
i'm rocking a razer pro click V2 vertical because my 26-year-old wrist got sick of pronating all the time
i keep an ATK A9 plus as a secondary for competitive shooters tho; it's basically a logitech superlight clone
generally speaking lightweight mice like the superlight are good in all conditions, tho the weight reduction is most appreciated in competitive shooters
but less weight means less fatigue from moving the mouse around a lot, so it's nice for long days of work
Correct
What’s the best ergo gaming mouse?
Touch grass
Doing it everyday hbu
What do I put in the top row?
-# went with 1 2 3 and 4 in Amethyst.
Probably page up/down, home, and end
I have used both of the wireless versions, I prefer the Basilisk V3.
So really weird thing to ask but do yall think this is Ai? I honestly can't tell or maybe a combination of both? Ive been looking at it for a few weeks now and I really like it but I've just seen too many red flags with it https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/domitree/domitre-the-transformable-lift-desk-and-pegboard-storage
They also have an Instagram page in which they are following a ai content generator
That and well I saw the Linus video and decided to come here lol
I just realized I might need a laptop cooler
Personally, while this might be a good idea, you can't really have anything that doesn't fit the supposedly narrow slot that the pegboard is sliding down into
I honestly don't particularly care about that its mainly just to have a spot to put my tools and things i use regularly they say 14cm which seems good enough for me
Im just really concerned that its some type of scam

Tldr the reason I came here
Realistically something like this would cost more.
Even if they have good intentions, I am not sure they would be able to fulfill it at this price and have it be any decent.
Unless that 399 is a 10 unit super early bird deal.
bruh what the fuck is this 😭
tc1's that way pal
Oh I get it. You want to me to post to #tech-chat-1 😂
sry
some matrix ME deskmat i grabbed off vnmk
i could get the stello too
but u will call me a degenerate
cause you are with that gooner deskmat
next thing you'll say is you're going to get a DN02 and GMK Darling
W deskmat
anyone got some good ergonomic chairs to upgrade to?
miller seems a bit too steep, the Liber omni novo is currently the one im looking at.. though a bit steep, it seems to be best on market for ergonomic gaming chairs.
can someone confirm?
the most important thing for me is ergonomic support, as the pillows on my old cheap chair is trash and hurts my ass and back.. the liber omni offers almost a fully straight angle, which to me is a huge seller.
the only thing i really dont care much about is the electronics, the massage function from what i heard is at best "soothing" from review videos.. although, i was hoping someone might have more experience
used herman miller
that offers worse angling though, as far as ive heard?
really?
I found my cousin's old Inphic F9. Compared to my newer one
tempered glass mousepads
https://www.tesmart.com/products/hdc203-p24
So I'm looking into something like this KVM... is there a better product out there that does what this does at a better price point? Ideally it'd be triple monitor, with USB-C for one device with PD. Second inputs can be more like a traditional KVM for a desktop. This one seems cool because you can pick what display is on what input, but doesn't support VRR.
Veryyyy new to tech like in general. My dad gave me this car camera to mess around with , and I have this broken digital camera with a broken lenses and some other issues I really wanna do something fun with them. Any suggestions? Or ideas, tutorials ....anything.
Thank you very much !
Guess what’s holding up the vertical display yall
Your hopes and dreams?

I wanna go top bruh but idk where to start

What do yall think about the attack shark r1 for gaming ?
wtf we're keycap twins
the colors and icons are peak
outdated
As someone who owns all logitech peripherals but is struggling to find a logitech keyboard that's worth the money is it worth breaking the garden walls with the epomaker RT100 or is there a logitech keyboard that is worth getting that I've missed, currently using the carbon g513 but its starting to double click
what's special about the logitech garden compared to other keyboards
I just don't like having too many rgb softwares/bloat and logitech gpro lightspeed and g pro headset is my go to right now for mice and headset
most keyboards nowadays should just be web based software so you don't have to install anything
usually using via
Thoughts on this
Yeah
super good been using it for 5+ months its insanly good stays consistant and creamy low delay too
What kind of keyboard even has a perceptible delay
well i meant that for like copys and offbrand keyboards i had one with bad delay before#
That's impressive tbh
agreed
Both brand isnt good
Unless you get an actively terrible board, any 2.4G or USB connected keyboard won't really have a perceptible delay on a keyboard
Though if you go into the bluetooth territory, then the nature of a BT connection will introduce quite a bit of latency
especially if it's a cheap bluetooth peripheral
bros singing to the choir
my £20 gmk67 arrives this week let’s see if it’s a scam (there’s a 50% chance of it missing a pcb)
Just received mine I like the sound and feel but the software what is wrong with it ? I can't even get it to find my keyboard
how is $20 for gmk 67 is a scam
thats normal pricing
i have a wife?
also cheap chinesium
i get free ship from CN
just bought a crp set for like
20 usd
dang thats actually quite good
@void geyser
i may have to move to veitnam
u should
do you even know veitnamese?
also there is a dedicated "budget enthusiast keyboard meet" here i will have a word with their manager
to let u in

nah im good
đù má fuck yeah
i was considering learning it but too many accents for me
they know
proper english
teaching here can give u around 2 grand a month salary
( average salary is like 300 )
so u can live quite easy
What's up
deadass if u wannna fuck around in chinesium then VN is a good place
one of my friend cop a 300 gbp cloudline
he said he might do
alps build
heh the memes
I copped the red cloudline v1 for like 200
GBP
with keycaps
it's 260
such a nice board
the keycaps are KKB cherries
but I might use PBT fans Dracula to fit in there thematically
wtb
I'll take a pic when i get it
it's one of those boards that would complete my red collection
gmk burgundy r1 ?
or red sam ?
Nah I don't like GMK
I think most of their keycaps are overpriced crap
type shit
r1 aint overpricing
there is $40 r1 gmk lime here
even tho is ass colorway
but old gmk is old gmk
it's like cherry
the only reason it's expensive is because it's made in germany / austria
not because they're actually notably high quality
Ive never had thst problem plug it in and put the little bluethooth. Maybe?
Nah I found out that they have very specific software models for each of the keyboards so the f75 normal didn't work on my max
Which is weird to make a software for each keyboard model but I guess that's what they do lol
realforce r1 ?
No
Thanks for the recommendation honestly really good keyboard I'm loving it
I wouldn't call gmk crap but they are definitely lacking compared to DCS
dunno any good alternatives to gmk though, apparently recessed stems and consistency is a hard ask nowadays
shame SP is having a hard time as of lately
😭 ancient ass scam
bendy spacebar
"masters of abs"
it's not crap, it's mostly overpriced, I've seen aifei do better with consistency, and those are like 20$ a set, the only reason it's 100 something a set is because it's made in germany
uses og cherry molds*
og cherry molds are overhyped af
how good is a mold if they can't even get the caps to stay straight
DCS > JTK > EPBT > PBTfans > GMK
redragon k552 good?
hey guys , this is my grip
im using the DAV3PRO
and im playing mostly fps
i got tired of this mouse , it feels big to my hand and its only 1000 poling rate
can you recommend me a mouse ?

It's a good cheap keyboard
I got mine off Facebook Marketplace, swapped the stock blue switches for red ones and replaced the keycaps too
Look up a channel called boardzy on youtube, he reviews virtually every mouse under the sun and im sure he has videos on what style of mouse for specific grips
Although if you find the dav3pro to be big u probably need to look into smaller mice that aren't ergonomic optimised

I have several questions about buying a new Computer Monitor. Namely:
- What kind of Monitor should i get? (TN, VA, IPS, LED, QLED, QD-LED QD-OLED OLED, Etc.)
- What is the best Size for gaming?
- Does a Curved Screen matter?
- What resolution should i get?
- What Refresh rate should i go for?
- What is the ideal Budget?
- What Features should I Look for? (HDR, Freesync, G-sync, Etc.)
- What Brands should i go for?
- What Brands Should i avoid?
Yes
depends on your space, how close you sit to it, resolution etc.
it's down to personal preference
depends on your computer
depends on your computer and what you play
the one that won't ruin you or put you in financial distress
depends on all of the above
the ones with the best warranty and customer support within your budget
the ones you can afford to avoid
Seeking a monitor recommendation under $275 USD. Currently looking at an Alienware AW2725DM
GPU is a 9070XT so High Refresh QHD preferred
that's a nice monitor in that price range
I got IEMs recently, they sound great but there is a constant static whenever any audio is playing and the static gets worse when I load into any games. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the static?
Try a better output, i.e. apple usb-c to 3.5mm adapter. Or really any of them but apple's is cheap

I wouldn't go with the Master 3S or 4 because they both only support 125hz polling rate.
Don't know much about mice, but would personally go with the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE
I prefer the MK06 personally

@mental quartz
for keyboards its a similar story, starting at 36€ for something perfectly servicable (hot swap + aluminum case) if we include TKL, which is just very, very slightly bigger than 75%
otherwise we are looking at 80€ for similar features or have to give up on a metal case altogether and proibably make even more compromises.
TKL at this budget is a much better choice bc it is so much more popular
we can (and should) get you something better, depending on what switches you would like you have or maybe aesthetics you prefer.
what's a good budget friendly Controller i can use for PC that's under 70 dollars?
preferably something with Hall effect joysticks so i'm not having to deal with stick drift.
Can someone find me a mic under 60€ with a microphone stand on amazon Germany please?
Nvm I picked the c3 pro
Something that looks like this but is good
@worldly garden
end game setup
tfw when the PCB costs more than the caps switches and case combined
it was 8000 YEN ONLY!
I don't really care about iems now so i'm the wrong person to ask
funny looking hhkb layout
1.75 shift + fn 1u + 1.5u bottom row

metal base

after some diging , this is what i came up with :
base : Monsgeek M2 V5 VIA (black) (bare bone) ( couldnt find any 100% size in barebone available :/ (like M5W or Q6 )
switches : Kailh Box Thick Clicky Jade Switch Set
keycaps : dagaladoo Grey black keycap set 136 key gradient double shot PBT keycaps cherry profile,Side printed
Are those good brand / quality ?
Do i need to buy anything else ? I hear i should buy maybe some lube ? or change for some pre-lubed switches ?
And should i buy some foam or smth else ?
( Oh and btw i m in europe so if you have advice on where i should buy my stuffs it would help me a lot ^^ most of the ytb video i saw are for the us... )
Tyy ^^
ps : rn i m using a old corsair K55 and i've NEVER touched a good switch so do i need to buy a switch tester kit first
do yall have best buys there?
Or any other electronics store that would have keyboards on display?
Sometimes there will be switch testers there
mechboard.co.uk or prototypist for uk
Keygem in Germany

I do like hipyotech because k e y b o a r d s
Accurate.
I want to build a 170% DIY keyboard, and I’ve been looking into it for a bit.
The main issue I keep running into is the microcontroller. Most of the ones I’ve found only seem to have around 20 GPIO pins, which doesn’t seem like enough for all the keys. I also don’t really want to spend a ton of time making extra hardware myself.
Some people told me to use a shift register of some kind, but I’m not sure if that’s the best option.
I did find this type of PCB that seems to double the I/O and costs about 9 euros, and I’d probably use it with a Raspberry Pi Pico. Does that sound like a good idea?
This is more or less what I want to build, but slightly different. My usecase is general productivity tasks.
this is not the right community for this
join keyboard atelier
Iroh sent me here
as for the microcontroller that you're going to use
Thank you
use an rp2040
what do I do about the missing GPIO pins
someone in keyboard atelier would be able to explain it better
but you want to use a thing called "digital i/o"
this basically extends the available GPIO that's usable to your microcontroller
Thank you I will go in there
Joined it
Goodluck!
appreciate it 🔥
wow
this one has a bunch of knobs also
the only thing is I wouldnt get access to custom PCBs
me when kicad
I live in third world country where most people do not ship things
he just used 4 microcontrollers
aliexpress
custom PCBs?
I do not know what that is
also I feel like wiring it myself rather than using PCB is more cost effective/time effective for me
They're my go to for fabrication
if it's a one off, mostlikely yes
also by the look of things, this is your first project, so I would start somewhere small
Watch Joe scotto on youtube
I do not really care about keyboards much
Purchase the Scotto9 3D-Printed case here: https://scottokeebs.com/products/scotto9-macropad-case
In this video, I hope to show you the concepts that are used to handwire mechanical keyboards. We're going to be using a simple 3x3 macropad to do this.

I only had 2 keyboards my entire life, one membrane cheap one and the current shitty mechanical keyboard I have right now
wow

Yeah for me it's not that I want to get into the hobby I just need to make a tool that I cannot purchase for cheap or purchase at all
watch the video and go from there
it's like being new to hiking and your first hike is mount everest
this is what we have ended up with
still working on the layout

Idk how to explain, to use them, extra modifier keys, to use while working
I use only my left hand
That kinda gives me an idea for an elevated 75% with dual Steam Deck-esque touchpads where those keys are.
Any1 know where i can get cherry mx blue switches? i need enough for a TKL Keyboard. ive been scammed twice in a row now. Ordered once on amazon, advertised as original, but i got cheap knock offs. and once on ebay. also knockoffs.
im sick of this and i need a reliable source for the switches.
