well yeah obviously
those compared to an actually alright keychron board is literally night and day difference
also any reason why clicky?
my personal experience with clickies have been either completely worthless shit tier switches or $2 per switch 4/10 switches
id try tactiles
also a lot more available
I wish I could try before I buy
I actually found a place that sells Keychron V6, with Gateron Jupiter Red and Brown as options
with nordic layout
expensive but maybe worth, I'd have to save up, fuckin disability check has barely risen with the cost of living increase
even not including your specific requirements its a great keyboard for the price anyway
what's the easiest way to clean a switch like under the thing that presses in
so gateron jupiter brown would be tactile, I imagine
price I found it for is the equivalent of $129 US
in like 3 years of owning and using keyboards ive never needed to clean the internals of a switch before so i have no clue
I thought I'd have to go closer to 180-200 for a hotswap keyboard
unless your talking about the pcb/plate where you should just take the switches out and use a small brush or dry cloth
thats actually really good considering its local
ye the swtich thats broken either doesnt work or just holds the button bruh
that switch is cooked
ig i gotta order 1
oh huh it's wireless, I didn't realize
the new TMR keyboards seems awesome and ~$150, just waiting to have my layout and 100% or close
With my MasterKeys with soldered keyswitches, the only thing that has helped for me if a key is getting stuck from soda or something spilling, is isopropyl alcohol
but that will dry the switch out after leading it to feel crappy
damn
im still waiting for the hhkb HE board
and hot-swappable magnetic + mechanical
i dont have any stabilisers yet lmao
you do
u have 3 keyboards minimum
use it from one of them
so im currently using a 1.5u control key as my spacebar
they ALL use plate mounts
all 6 of my other boards are plate mount stabs
and none of them have a 7u
Womier SK75 TMR keyboard
Rock-Solid Performance with Advanced TMR Tech
Mag-Mech Hybrid Hot-swap
Full 8000Hz in Both Wired and Wireless
Long-Lasting 8000mAh Battery
Tri-Mode Connectivity
Hot-Swap: Cross-compatible with both magnetic and mechanical switches (can mix & match)
150€
Thank you for the help @young spoke, I will wishlist the V6 Max and hope it's still available by the time I can afford it
wireless keyboard will also be a big change but I assume it won't be too big of a change
Do you want a clicky switch?
yeah I'm used to MX Blues and I grew up on buckle spring
I suggest gateron melodics
They're nice and close to buckling springs imo
how can someone want a clicky switches, i use mx cherry reds and they are way too noisy for me 😄
i just have a usb c cable at my desk at all times, for my wireless keyboards i keep the dongle in the board itself until i need it
please don't buy that piece of shit board or any keychron really
overpriced for what it is
Looks good but the only place I can find that sells it without import is selling that for a dollar per switch, I also don't own a modular keyboard yet
I'd rather not have to import
there's VAT and import fees
@balmy vale take a look at Womier SK75 TMR keyboard, seems awessome
That's not a 100% keyboard
ive used the v6 before (ansi but close enough) and its a perfectly fine keyboard for the price and the specific requirements
I'd at least definitely want numpad
and the galaxy100 isnt even 100%
where do you live / country @balmy vale
Please see my first post
yea, sad, thats exacly the reason i dont buy it too, not 100% keyboard, i use all keys
Norway
also the Womier is incredibly expensive
6 keyboards and not once have i ever missed the numpad tbf
should be the same price and would actually put you in enthusiast tier
I use numpad every single day
should work out to about 150 euro
that's twice the price of the keychron
where did you see the v6 max for 70 GBP
i use the corsair k70 red keys, is awesome
its like $120 more
£95 to £174
I can barely afford food some months, if I had $200 to spare on a keyboard I wouldn't mind
even the $129 keychron I'd have to save up for
me when I lie
me when
my current keyboard was $70 and I've had it since October 2017
what's wrong with it
good question, if he is so desperate for money, why a new keyboard 🤨
it's soldered switches and a bunch of them have been damaged over time

i mean, I like spending money on keyboards
it sparks joy
spacebar and like 5 bottom row keys are sticky and scratchy
replace them
wut
waste of money
what keyboard u own?
so, buy a soldering iron, learn to solder, buy replacement switches, etc
you can replace switches
oh you don't already have them?
It's a Cooler Master MasterKeys L
https://www.coolermaster.com/en-global/products/masterkeys-l-with-superior-pbt-keycaps/
The MasterKeys L is all about wrapping that classic Cooler Master mechanical feel in a sturdy, minimalist design. Steadfast essentials include on-the-fly macros and switchable layouts. To add that extra touch, we use PBT keycaps and Genuine German CHERRY MX switches. These combined create the sturdier weight and tactile spring that define our me...
no, I've never soldered in my life
looked for used keyboards then
which layout
I don't think buying a keyboard at that price is a good idea as you've mentioned that it would literally cause you to not eat
Nordic ISO layout
he has like 50
100% boards goes for cheap on ebay all the time
whats up eva
what colour is your 75%
really? there are so many good reviews about it
oh you weren't asking me
yo yo yo lee
give me 30 quid i will leave a good reveiw too
I'm enjoying the shit out of foamy boards
u rite i should buy 1
take a break from cherry
lol
wont be surprised if u cop a cyberboard at this point
also I'm not a "he", assuming you're talking about me
Nah i'll wait for the value to absolutely tank on them
last one I saw was for 350 GBP
I just bought an Arc60
cheap
they introduced, SECURED BY BLOCKCHAIN
some more overpriced features
my friend got one too
Angrymeme tactics
for under 150 bucks
I'll dm you how much I got it for
should be a steal
you know it baby, I never buy anything unless it's a steal
did vaux get his agar yet
I'm going to throw up
its that or not having keycaps
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Programmable-Backlighting-Bluetooth-Rechargeable/dp/B0BKW3LB2B?th=1
what about this one?

you forgot to buy stabs didn't you
sorry about that, no way to know that lol
is that fucking leopold caps
to the bin now
LOOKS LIKE IT
they come on the 15th
durock v3s
why do you have 7 sets of spare stabs
gee i wonder
I hope this is an f260
I do wonder how the fuck do people still buy TX
why???
people saying that you need to break it in and gigalube it is legit copium considering the fucking things cost like 20 GBP a go
anyone to spend 1200€ for 64 GB RAM?
just in case or smth
serial killer behaviour
Oh fuck, stabilizers
No wait, they are supposed to come with my keyboard
I got a pair one for left and right
it's like that carpio
but like 10 times less
could basically get them for 1GBP each
custom ones don't
well excited for mine
awhat are they called
It says it should be included with the QK101 as a "freebie"
So hopefully it is
don't know
but it's this
but I got a left and right pair
that one is only right I believe
technically
this one should have it
get a left and a right one
so both your hands have support
nice for typing
that's good
about the same price here in Norway, I paid less for my 3080 FTW3 than those 64gig DDR5 sets
qk101 nice keyboard
Way more than I had planned to spend though, but not many options for full size keyboards
i remember to cry about pay 920€ for my 3080 OC back in the days right before covid boom, imagine waste 1200€ for 64 GB ram, this guys are insane now! cant call them 'crazy', that would be a complement....
yeah there's really not
there's ND101, nice full size and complete board
I paid 250 GBP for a 6800 back in 2023
it's more expensive now
money moves
I paid 10158 NOK for my FTW3, equivalent of $1008 US today. Price shot way up in the 2 months between me paying and it getting shipped
september-november 2020
Indeed, but no ISO layout as far as I can tell
with how things are going I'm gonna be rocking this 3080 10gig another 3-5 years at least
I also can't stand the clickety clackety noises most keyboard enthusiasts seem to love
So custom seemed best
Thats for sure! 3080 will last for another 10 years if needed! Imagine give money to those days greedy bastards! I really hope that AI bubble explode soon and they all loose that investment!
I do hate how common that sound became
thanks to hmx
but back in like 2020 / 2021 that was the sound to get
naw
nah I don't think it's HMX that has done it
2020/2021 is thiocky meta
leaf spring
self cutted foam
holy panda
ktt kang whites
OH GOD
it's like I just had PTSD
I had an rk61 with KTT kang whites
also with self cut foams
tape mod
blue tac mod, and also wrap mod
and the oring too
Goddamn
the mounting
I wasn't able to do burger mount
soldered Rk61 takesme back
they had that stupid fucking solder pads on them
they're basically had the strength of a wet noodle
kek
Is there a way to get the USB ports on the back of the Xbox 360 HD DVD drive working on modern desktop OS's? The drive itself works, but the hub isn't
EDIT: Nevermind, got it working
Is this keyboard good
it’s entirely based on personal preference but if you’re asking me for my opinion i’d say it’s overpriced and terrible
Keychron V6?
if you're in the market for clicky switches my random recommendation is gateron melodic
There's also V6 max and K10 pro
If you are looking for something that sounds and feels good, then yeah 8bitdo keyboards are just "okay", but I guess that if you really love the aesthetic you could go for it
they also have NES/FamiCom inspired keyboards
Looks cool to say at least
I would rather get an irok mg75max or a melgeek reel67
Is max worth over pro?
Imo yeah
no
agar built (my actual keycaps are coming on the 20th)
what are the upgrades
After much pain a keyboard was built. Hope I never have to do that again
i don’t really see pro’s of the 75 max other than like waterproofing
Minor ish build difference
And a little better switches I’m pretty sure
It just depends on the price
It was on sale for like $7 more then the pro a bit ago iirc so it was good value
But if it’s off sale now I would get the pro
which
Wdym
what’s the build difference
Nano coating
Won’t notice it in day to day use
Cuz it’s mostly just fancy word to mark up price
Also water resistant
I just like the water resistance cuz I spill stuff on my keyboards a lot and it was only like $7 more expensive a bit ago
so just the nano coating and different switches
idk if that’s worth $10
actually @void geyser it seems like paw3395se is something else than 3335, the farthest i got is that it’s a paw33xx 8pdip lower efficiency sku
could be 3311
and bunch other
maybe it’s a custom 33xx 8pdip and it ends there
Hello guys! I have been working on a hardware-assisted entropy source to generate cryptographically strong passwords. This is my repo: https://github.com/flatmarstheory/Hardware-Based-Password-Generator (also attaching the research paper)
https://www.keychron.com/collections/keychron-m-series-mice/products/keychron-m7-wireless-mouse
Thoughts?
I'm kind of tired of having two keyboards on my desk. I have a GMMK connected to my desktop, but I have to unplug it to connect it to my laptop. I have a Magic Keyboard for a Mac. I know a KVM would theoretically solve this, but it still requires all sorts of adapters and crap for the Mac/MacBooks, and the risk of quality messing up through too many adapters (poor resolution, poor refresh rate) is leading me away from this direction.
I am interested in getting one of Keychron's wireless keyboards that can connect to 3 devices at a time, the same way that Logitech's keyboards and mice do, through a hybrid of bluetooth and 2.4ghz.
I was looking at the K10 HE, but I don't know what Keychron's proprietary switches feel like. How close are they to a brown, which is my preferred switch color? It also doesn't appear to have a backlight, which would make it hard to see in a dark room.
The Fully Assembled version includes: The keyboard PCB, the case, and the aluminum plate. Keycaps (included Mac & Windows keycaps). Adjustable-actuation-point Gateron double-rail magnetic switches. The K10 HE is compatible exclusively with the Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switch. It does not support other magnetic
but why tho
When in vints
i'm looking at building a new keyboard, and was thinking about getting milk yellow switches for the keyboard, anyone have recommendations for the barebones base? i was looking at the gmk 67pro
Budget?
for the base around $50-60
Neo65
Could I have some help deciding
What is better Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW3423DWF
Or Samsung 34-Inch Curved OLED Odyssey G8 LS34DG850SNXZA
I’m primarily using the monitor for media consumption — streaming, movies, and 4K Blu-ray rips. I also game occasionally, but that’s secondary.
there are basically 0 tactile HE switches, so they wouldn't really be close either. I wouldn't recommend getting HE really
Maybe the V6 or V6 max?
can u find me a 50$ neo pls
in black, so that I can meme on that guy who always get stupid neo boards
is the G502 hero good?
I have it, its pretty good for my use case scenario and I like it. Personally my only regret about it is that it is wired. Anyways Mr Tech Tips has a video on G502 HERO for more details if you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iek-UH9ZWUw

What's so good about the G502 Hero that it has almost thirty thousand ratings on Amazon with a 4....
(also its a bit heavier of a mouse that's a heads up)
thanks
shipping?
There is a wired I think Keychron C2 Pro which is 60$
54.99
I like this website so here's a review ^^
pretty far from a neo
probably
k*ychron
I’m using keyboard from keychron and i ordered another one
sup guys i need help with keyboards
so i wanna get a keychron keyboard but idk which one is good and affordable at the same time
and then i was thinking to get gmmk pro barebones and do the rest myself
Is this too good to be true
Amazon
that is insane wow
it’s still not very attractive
brands that decicate to custom peripherals so not for example logitech, razer, steelseries, corsair, etc…
AULA is cool but not at this price point
Give me recommendations
My 10€ membrane is so ass
thoughts on hyperx alloy origins?
i don’t give recommendations bc they may be outdated
i’m using like aula keyboards, monsgeek, irok
Anything is a upgrade for me
I just want something that sounds good snd won’t break
goatis 🥹
Gatis
This
and switches have a good lifetime
it’s not good
its exactly what you asked for
there are better boards… especially at $60
The big k said its not good
i dont care about what the big k said yo 😭
it can be gotten for €25-30 + shipping from china
Eh i dont really care about that
Amazon is the way to go
at your budget though you can get keyboards with full aluminum case or even full aluminum /+ weight like brass or/and also hall effect
master of keyboards ahh
Yunzii
?
sure
also consider if you want qmk
Qmk?
open source is nice
it’s a chip in some keyboards
and you can flash it or do whatever you want, custom software/firmware
this one is fine
Okay
qmk ✅ quality materials ✅ hall effect ❌
qmk ✅ quality materials ❌ hall effect ✅
qmk ❌ quality materials ✅ hall effect ✅
it usually goes like this at budgets like $100
Whats the diffrence between halleffect and normal
hall effects lets you set custom actuation and custom reset
Eh ion think i need that
or functions based on how hard you press a key if the software supports it
raw meat man 🤢 raw meat gross
i would love to try raw pork in germany, like safe raw pork tho
Can anyone help me with selecting a monitor?
I cant decide because im not informed enough
My question was already answered by someone else but i wanted to ask if i should go 500HZ Ips wich iv been play on since i started gaming or go to 240hz OLED
What u think i should so
Go to a farmer
If you already have the 500hz id stay with that but if you want an oled go for it
what resolution
Fuh u mean
the 500hz ips i don’t recommend
1080 p i guess
the 500 hz is ips 500hz
500hz ips is overkill
Yeah but pc cant run 240 oled
you may benefit from better resolution
I only play competitively
higher res lets you see enemies better at distance
I play streched
1440p 240hz is less intensive than 1080p 500-540 usually
Im looking for competitive edge not preety collors
are you sure it’s worth it for you
like does your competitive play make money
It is
what’s your budget
.
.
Touch the image to zoom in
LG 27GX790A-B
price?
1k
too much
also too much but better
any cheaper 1440p 480hz oled panels
miniled could also be an option but oh well you said you didn’t care about color accuracy
I think still the best option whould be the 500 hz one
Yeah
lcd crystals are slower than leds btw
also watch for additional output latency of lcds, especially older models
i dont want to risk getting parasites
im happy cooking my food
haha anyways off topic
anyone got any general budget mice recommendations for under £100 and under £50.
Lighter
they tend to be scratchy
do yall know a good lightweight mouse thats similar to the razer viper v3 but youre not paying for the brand as much
🇨🇳 🇨🇳
vorp?
ignore the color, good linears don’t tend to be labelled as just red nowadays
^
I get that the simple old color scheme is simple to understand and most people dont want to do a ton of research on switches but yeah switches that are just [standard colour] tend to be meh
I personally love the Gateron milky pro yellow v3s, they are very cheap and they are amazing for its price (imo)
hmx
all of them are kinda bad value wise
I think they are one of the best brands that are still focused to the general consumer and not keyboard nerds
who else are you buying from? epomaker?
evo80
yeah yeah and the rainy75 and whatever.
- I was talking specifically about brands that also are more focused on the general consumer, not specific models
- The guy mentioned a $50 barebones, an evo 80 is definitely out of budget
if u are a consumer stick to any slop aliexpress offer
their money their problem
we got sherlock holmes here :clueless:
we are trying to help someone with the problem they re trying to solve by asking here 😭
told them a specific model which is good, and consumer favored
and +$200
I'm planning on switching out my keycaps on my RedDragon Kumara K552. I already swapped it for red switches from its existing blue switches
What brand is the best but also cheap for good-looking, but also good-sounding keycaps? The default keycaps sound very hollow, which isn't for me
Also, how to get rid of the rattle on the wider keys with the stabilizer bars?
Whats ur budget
Might buy a new keychron
Shill
That one with the wood accents on the sides looks nice
?
Overpriced slop
K2 he ?
Sorry if this ain't in dollars (below 1000 Php. Further reduced to around 500 Php if I'm getting it from Marketplace)
Ghost judges, aifei, ndn
I also don't have the time to try and lube every individual switch because college
U can find them in lazada/shopee
Mm, I don't wanna Online shop atm
So it's either something brand new in a physical store or used from Marketplace
Yeah
How is keychron slop they make good quality keyboards
U thought is good because is the best you have tried so far
Bruh
I wish I had that much money for keycaps 🙃
Brand new then where will u get it
I've yet to see he boards that aren't in the same price range
I rec u save and get this one ngl
He boards are expensive mate
Atleast better than red drago
That's just how it is

But like, any way to alleviate the noise from the keys with the stabilizers on them? I tried the blue-tac method but that doesn't seem to work for me
wtf is blue tac method
well
i know ways, but not worth to do it on those keyboards
Hm
Hey I need suggestions for good Headphone keyboards and mouse I don’t necessarily have a budget but let’s say like 150 or 200 usd each
it's fine, but it's kinda slop
they just pump out shit
- when you get another non keychron board for the same price, you'd see the difference
it's a step up above normal keyboards for sure
not bad, not good, just super accessible for most people
Don't see he boards that much cheaper
the decision is ultimately up to you at the end of the day
there's nothing inherently wrong with the board
My RedDragon vs my cousin's Aula 75
Did this thing survive a gunshot
Why
I got a yunzii al 68
Now that I know the Odyssey Ark goes down to $1300 on sale during the holidays, I'm HEAVILY considering it
As much as I like my OLED monitor, my current setup takes up a lot of space and I'd like to compartmentalize. Everything on one desk, with the Ark as my primary display for gaming and everything else.
With a good mount for the Ark and one for a sound bar underneath...
Does your keyboard say AH
old meme
I need mouse help, my old aorus m3 is dying after abt 6 years, so I need a new mouse, preferably wired, max budget prob at 70€
How picky are you about mouse weight?
Because that'll change my recommendations.
Does anyone know this Keyboard brand ? https://electronicmaterialsoffice.com
do they know if its good quality? i love the asthetic alot
I dont really care aslong as its under 5 kilos, the m3 I had was about 100g or so
Logitech G403 for $50 US.
Thx, that looks pretty neat
And Logitech makes solid mice.
Ill prob end up buying that one, I like that it isnt a discoball like many others
Guys should I sell my keychron v1 max and buy like 150-180€ keyboard?
is that corsair
I literally just said the brands
anyone have anything to say about logitech new magnetic/haptic mouse?
what should fill this space wirh chat
Still ass
wdym still? i thought it was the first mice of this kind
Yes but I mean Logitech is still making pretty bad mice
idk, using g903 now, seems pretty fine
i am not the (omg it is 51g instead of 50, i cannot use it) mice user
i like them big and heavy
I’m not saying they’re bad they’re just bad compared to other ones for the same price
can i get good 75% keyboard recommendations that are wired and wireless max budget of £130
they have fallen behind, china took over peripherals
competitiveness
anybody knows stuff about keyboards?
my keyboard just suddenly started typing random letters when pressing different ones and i noticed a pattern:
Row 1: 2 W S X Alt
Row 2: 5 T G B Space
Row 3: 8 I K Alt Ctrl
Row 4: - { ' /
keys in row 1 trigger the button pressed + the button under it. so 2 also presses w, w also presses s etc.
keys in rows 2-3 trigger button from row 1 on the sams horizontal level so t also activates w, k activates s etc.
qwerty keyboard btw
what was the change in the last 5-10 years in this space?
the only diff i saw was weight
sensors - not sure, above 10-15k dpi - idk what is the difference there
yes
history likes to rhyme so, just like the british copied netherland’s homework, china did so with peripherals
wdym yes? my question was - what changed
oh, mb
material wise, better materials used in casing, switches, dampening, keycaps, etc…
software-wise, web software, many chinese brands offrer kbs fitted with qmk compatible ics
and at times cheaper as well
the cost cut was the biggest leap imo
Melgeek real67
good sensors shite mice
what are the best low profile keyboards under 200 bucks
Yeah
keychron K series or B if you need even more slimness
thanks
what keyboard would yall recommend, i like gravastar but people say its bad
like i mean i like the sound of gravastar
and i preferably want an he
i was also looking into the azoth but its overpriced imo
allowing custom firmware - it feels from the realm of - building your own keyboard
price yeah - g903, naga razer pro( or whatever is the latest name) aren't cheap
not sure how much of it is brand/profit and how much of it actual stuff like sensor/battery/etc
their profits aren’t that high because of advertising as well, they have more dedicated customer service such as for rmas
no personal experience, but Neo65 Sonic He+ looks nice
but yeah i would skip name brands such as logitech, steelseries, razer and corsair
@trail kite
i mean thats what i used for my mice
it was like this
noname - razer mamba - razer naga for mmo - corsair ironclaw - logitech g903
now seeing as this is smth new (as was wooting keyboards) wanna try this out
the chinese copied wooting’s homework pretty well as well
i drive a vxe r1 pro rn and it’s goob
but probably outdated by now
What’s your budget
200 ish cad
Melgeek real67
If that’s too expensive then irok mg75 pro or max
I don’t really think the max is worth the extra money but if it’s not that much more then it’s worth it
i dont like the soundof rhat one much
too clicky if u know what i mean
i might just wait for a sale and get the gravastar v60 pro
its a little over budget but i love the design
Then mg75 pro
Or mg75 max has different switches if you want to listen to that one
thats not bad
Are these keycaps good for my RedDragon?
you get what ypu paid for
Around 400 pesos
Eh... I'm not really looking to spend any more than 500 pesos for keycaps tbh
you get what you paid for
Yes, I'm aware
But I found the same keycaps online for 100 pesos more
£20 for keycaps is not a lot
Oh so now you saying facts now
Did u gwt propwr keycap or still use that crappy set
im using a black set of aifei v3s
I don't have a lot of money to shell out like a lot of us here, so please bear with me
I was always a cheapskate since I moved to the city for college
And call me a hypocrite for saying that whilst having a mechanical keyboard, mind you, I saved two weeks worth of my allowance just to get it 2nd hand on Marketplace as well
Sorry for ranting
high density pbt keycaps if you want durability
you get plastic either way, he just likes certain keycaps due to sound
pbt keycaps above $10 tend to hold up pretty well
abs plastic sounds different to pbt, not necessarily better
different.
also dying of pbt keycaps has been improved, the vibrancy gets almost to modern high end abs keycap level
Hmm. Okay
Is there also a cheap way to make my current keyboard THOCK? I'm planning on sound dampening foam, but idk
Yes
Foam it
Crap u go buy gmk
nah too expensive for plastic
damn so based
if its hotswap I would encourage you to look at just changing the switches. I am a fan of gateron milky yellow pros, they are not hard to find at less than $20 for 90 pieces... although those are more creamy than thocky. You go listen to sound tests
be careful to see if they are compatible tho, some keyboards only have 3 pin hotswap instead of 5 pin
I already did swap the switches from blue to red (Titan Otemu red switches)
Aside from the clatter from the keys with the stabilizer bar, it sounds nice
The thing is theres only so much foam can do... Also, use thin foam, thick foam will also block the lower frequencies that produce the "thock"
Alright
But for now, I'm looking to get rid of the clattering from the stabilizer bars on some of the keys
there are lots of mods for stabilizers. If you want to put some effort on that, you can just buy lube and lube them. Its like $3 for something that you can apply to all keys, stabs, and have some spare after
you can see how the thick foam (10cm) blocks more of the lower frequencies
and you dont want that if you want thock
Eh, I don't really have the time for lubing. Can you suggest other mods?
lubing just the stabs is probably 5m, the switches are the real pain but there it will probably not improve the sound much, its mostly for feeling
Uhm, there is people that put tape in the inner part of the stab so the tolerances are better (less rattle) and the parts dont hit directly each other (less clack), but i havent done it myself

What do you guys think about the xm2
the sony headphones?
oh okay no idea then
One think to look out for is real latency. A recent Shortcircuit video showed a mouse (i dont remember which one exactly) that had a good sensor, 8k polling, but the firmware itself added a few ms of latency because of a bad anti-bounce "fix", so I guess look out for third parties doing real tests on it
Hey FELLAS how much do yall think i could sell a used Benq Mobiuz EX3210U for
I see it retailing for around $800 or higher and I bought it like 3 years ago for almost 1k
About $480 USD, give or take, depending on your area. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/187706736755
ooo nooo kirashi fell into the listed not sold trap
nuuu the website i use for checking sold listings is down, meh have this
Nah, I just linked to the first listing I found. Ultimately, things are only worth what someone is willing to pay.
i do also wonder where he is as around my parts with the hefty taxes its like 550$

Still prefer cherry clip ins ngl
Yeah I'm using clipins + Geon wires atm
Cherry clipins that is
what's your opinion on TX?
I think they're the worst stabs I've used
like genuinely
Sold my ori cloth lol
WHy
it was in its natural environment
as with most razer stuff
you took it out of aq loving home
It feels like pick up 10 bucks on the ground
2K / 4K Oled for gaming? I play both story and fps. 9800X3D And 5080
any opinions on the Royal krude L75?
only if it’s cheap like $20-30
remember you can buy dedicated macro pads off aliexpress for like $5
Which is the better microphone choice for streaming games, the rode podmic or the elgato wave dx?

Welp, I think I'll find smrhg else. Ty for letting me know that it ass
Ye
100 gets u a bridge 75 or rainy 75
Is it worse than RedDragon?
both are e waste
Mm, okay
i love that the title is straight sarcasm
redragon is marginally better than RK from what i’ve heard
i mean, my friend’s low profile redragon works still
or maybe it’s survivor bias and i haven’t seen the heaps of dead redragons yet
Just dont use them
Rk is fine but theyre abit outdated these days
redragon is still not very good
keychron modding tiem
how thocky are the keygeek ryes
kekron meh
they just can’t catch up to cheaper metal keyboards with he or qmk
they genuinely used to be fine/good few years ago, nowadays their pricing is off
i do already own my 2 year old kikron 🤣
in that case that’s goob
what would everyone recommend for a wireless 75% mechanical keyboard for under $100
apreciate the suggestion if anyone else has any from what i asked it be greatly apreciated
I'm getting this as a bday present for my Friend, I can't go above that price.
lol
I mean under 100 isn’t a lot
It’s not really the price category where you ask for a suggestion
It’s more like buy whatever you find it’s in the budget that you like the look of
Perhaps check r/mechmarket
I don’t know what’s funny why buy something junkie when you could wait a little while and buy something that would last
mg75 pro
Or melgeek real67 if it still had the $30 coupon or if you can go up to $115 ish
Wouldn’t suggest the rainy75
It’s good but mg75 pro or real67 are better
neo75cu
Montech MKey PRO 75 Freedom Brown is this one better?
isn’t that like $200 before switches and keycaps
any recs for solid mice that don't tend to break their LMB switches?
I had a
Razer Naga (Molten Core Edition, probably bought around 2011/2012),
Logitech G700,
Logitech G604 (since 2020)
And all of them eventually started registering single clicks twice or "released" randomly when trying to click and drag...
I'm a needy bugger and want at least 4 buttons on the left side of my mouse, so what are my options
actually, maybe i'd survive with one or two buttons in the upper left corner of the LMB to switch DPI modes and two on the side for "forwards" and "backwards"
i currently have two buttons assigned to volume controls but can probably part with them
got a Logitech MX Master 2S at work but i don't like the button placement on the side, neither do i need the scroll wheel or that weird gesture control gimmick
maybe i should check out an electronics store and get a hands-on them, eyeing the G502

question, does anyone know of this brand
100
Mchose g7
Yes, they make cheap stuff
really? where
My friend bought it, in singapore
do they suck or nah
No
alright, do you know of the monka m3
wdyt of the products
Decent for $20
wait 3395 for 20 bucks is only decent?
Thats standard these days
wb the rapoo vt3 ultra?
U looking for a spl form mouse ?
whats spl?
Logitech superlight
i mean i do use claw grip
spl isn’t as good as people make it out to be. Mchose K7 ultra so much better
Better sensor, lighter, higher dpi, polling rate, ips, and acceleration
i thought u endgame with freya
palm grip,prefer ergo'd
mchose g7, basilisk's, mx master form
monka m3 is my preferred shape ngl
would get a MAD R but inventories of those have been dwindling
i’m looking at it in taobao and i’m like “damn yall got this much money to burn”
i would love an alu/magnesium mouse if i can
would you think the shape of a mouse is more important than the raw sensor specs?
i was looking at the mchose l3 but well, it would’ve been too small
wait which one was it
gosh darn it
the mchose that looked like the pulsar
ah the l7
yeah the l7 was smaller than the monka i’m rocking now
i see
i’m spending 50 max on a mouse ngl
like anything more is esports level
in fact
a 3395 is the max a casual should go for
not saying they’re not allowed to go higher tho
but palm comfort comes first
kensignton slim brade
what
the mouse
a trackball
what
Any recommendations for a 2.4G wireless mouses?
have a pick from mchose
pick what would suit your grip best
i don't think i can order that thing in germany
there’s always aliexpress
i don't want to wait 2 months for a bootleg mouse
it’s not bootleg if it’s better than the original
3395 is the new normal for the average gamer’s sensor
3950 is “for the pros” and isnt necessary
PAW and PMW stand for different meanings
a quick google search should give an answer
but if you’re too lazy, PAW=low power, PMW=high power
but that doesnt seem to matter nowadays as PAW can compete with PMW just fine
so a Naga V2 could also be an option
though i fear it might turn out smaller than i like my mice
razer..
overpriced imo
unless EU really hates CN products and decide to give it the highest taxes of the century
i suppose it's more of an issue with the price comparison site i use not having 100 different chinese brands in them
partly because the hundreds of DE/AT/CH online shops it gets it's product data from doesn't sell them
this is what i get when i filter for "at least 2 buttons on the left side", "unlockable scroll wheel" and PWA 3395 and PWA 3950
What I ordered: Wired mouse, silent click
What I got: Wireless mouse with the same features
I'm happy :D
I really don't see the point in spending anywhere over 30 dollars for a "gaming mouse"
But perhaps with actually useful features like a side scroll wheel, etc., I guess I can make an exception for that
lol
that's good for claw grip with smaller hands
there's the g7 and other stuff as well
recommend you to check out aliexpress
Their store?
sure
I mean their store (I can see dozens of selers lol) or mouses on aliexpress in general? Aren't they a bit "sketchy"? I was told to avoid ali express as their recievers sometomes have malware
mchose isn’t one of those as far as i can tell
their mice seem really legit
What are my chances of this being legit?
u got brainwashed by the internet
lol
lol
Th price looks legit. I went to an electronice store to get a feel for the mice and this one was there as well for the same price
Sadly they only had the demo unit of the Naga V2 left so I'll probably drive to a bigger city this Saturday

i sit
I justlove keyboards man
Idk what to tell you
Idk about 120000dpi but
so i have a 9070xt i plan to play games like ark gta destiny what monitor should i get max budget of £200
@worldly garden Apparently PM CTRL imploded recently and aus and NZ ppl hate the guy that runs it
causing shit like this to happen:
I swear this hobby is a simulation
that’s a regular g305
i did say mchose g7
you can find the g305 anywhere other than aliexpress i’m sure
5-10%
there are dozen g305 ripoffs
you’re better off buying chinese branded mices from aliexpress
or buy g305 at retail
Kezewa lol
I need a new mouse. I currently own a Glorious Model O Wireless, but it recently started double-clicking.
I’d like to spend at most €50, preferably around €30–€40. I don’t mind buying used (e.g., eBay) as long as it ships reliably and I don’t have to worry much about scams. The new mouse doesn't have to be wireless.
My main game is Minecraft. Funnily enough, in Minecraft you sometimes want your mouse to double-click (when butterfly clicking or “abusing”). To do this reliably, the switch needs to be able to register clicks with zero debounce time. While researching, I found many Reddit threads claiming that many mice cannot be set to zero debounce time, which makes the mouse unusable for me.
I want to be able to double-click, but only when I choose to - so the mouse must be controllable enough that it double-clicks when I want and doesn’t when I don’t. Does that make sense?
Because intentional double-clicking wears switches out faster than normal use in shooter games, I’m also looking for optical switches if possible. I read on Reddit that optical switches are less susceptible to breaking under heavy double-clicking.
Any recommendations?
VGN VXE R1 Pro may be a solid one, but I want you to check it out on your own.
It's a good place to start.
buy a used g102
those broken enough so they double clicks as a malfunction
razer really expects a 14 inch ultrabooks to use up all the 3080ti 16gb performances
So smth like this?
Yall would I be better off getting the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro or Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35k
Prob be better off not getting Razer imo
wow apparently it has high charisma, never would've guessed
G502 Lightspeed is cheaper with a similar feature set. My biggest issue I have with Razer is their drivers so if you don't care about that then probably the regular pro unless you have used 35k DPI before and or think that will be useful to you
Not sure how much of their gen 3 switches is just marketing though
Really
Ass
Zero
Easy
Repairs
the G502 is ass imo, it’s only good if you prefer having a heavier mouse
and their proprietary software with meh privacy policy
you can also mod a lightweight mouse to make it heavier, same can’t be said about makin g502 lighter without destroying it
i would just buy one of the alternatives/almost rip offs from china
I dont want it double clicking on accident - thats the whole point xD
I have had that mouse before but it broke suddenly (I threw it against a wall - oopsies). The quality itself was pretty good though, especially for that price!
I want to be able to double click but it shouldn't just double click on its own xD
you want it to double click when you physically double click it, right? I know what you mean
I did try to ask about this a while ago but I couldn't get any actual answers. Probably anything with customizable debounce or custom firmware would work though
put the debounce to like 1ms or something stupid
It depends on the switch/build of the mouse
also it being possible to set the debounce time to 0-4ms (at max) is REALLY important
with some mice it is just outright impossible because they are software locked
some mice arent but the switches cannot handle it
i bet in addition to being more durable optical switches would have less (or maybe even no) bounciness
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Watch the video in 4k even if you dont have a 4k monitor, to get the highest quality.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 1080
Processor: Intel Core i5 2400
Keyboard: Custom Built 60% With Gateron Yellows (scuffed spacebar i know)
Mouse: Glorius Model O Wirel...
I sent a timestamp
optical switches are more durable
yeah i get what you mean
mechanical switches break easier because of that kind of "switch abuse"
leading to unintentional doubleclicking
and thats just bad
exactly
but now the mouse has to actuially register the clicks
if it does that it is suitable for double clicking / butterfly clicking
calling it mouse abuse is just cope imo
people have never seen industrial use of mechanical switches
idk it certainly isnt what they made the switch for
and it does shorten the mouses (?) lifespan in my experience
I don't really think it does anything crazy different than a normal click from a mechanical perspective
I guess if it's the hitting the mouse slightly harder part
for real mouse abuse just watch geometry dash players
xD
In this video, I'll teach you how to Dragclick and share some tricks I've learned from over 7 years of experience.
