Oh ok, thanks for the help!
best you'd get is probably akl680 with ANSI layout
double it and you'll possibly get a used lofree board, now that would come with potential iso support
@astral breach https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/227086982359?
try to snipe this if you can
Hello everyone, i am looking for help, im am trying to find a Mouse, Headset and RGB Keyboard (one where its not solid block so each key has its own rgb light)
I found a mouse and head set on sale for £20 each
The style of keyboard i am looking for is a RGB "above deck" style like the Alienware Tenkeyless Gaming Keyboard - AW420K
The Mouse i have found currently is the Glorious Gaming Model O Wired Gaming Mouse
The Headset i have found currently is the Razer BlackShark V2
I have around a £80 budget can probably push more to £90 (for christmas so dont judge lol)
any recommendations would be great
Thanks in advance!
repost
they do exist
iso
under but you're going to try and find a way to still be right
you brainlet
beggars cant be choosers
that's what they get for not having money
Im looking for a WOLED monitor (preferably 4k), i cant find any reviews about the "27" Lenovo Legion Pro 27UD-10 - 3840x2160 (4K) - 240Hz - OLED" - why is this? Is the panel bad? I have a lenovo laptop with their oled, its great, no text aura.
Is this monitor a good pick at ~750$ (7 490nok)?
ltt keyboard channel try not to argue with eachother challenge
we need to all devote our lives to the church of topre to settle our differences
fancy schmancy rubber dome keyboards
except the design is different from normal ones
sorta
topre is unique in that it also has coil springs
and uses sliders which aren't that common in rubber dome boards nowadays
and it's capacitive instead of membrane
and the domes are completely different
lel
so basically it is completely different from membrane as a whole, the only comparison is that they both have (vastly different) rubber domes
there's no argument, guy's having a 20iq moment trying to look smarter than he actually is
says i'm wrong for saying that you can't find an iso lp board for 30 GBP, proceeds to then prove me right
Any recommendations for hall effect joystick replacements for Xbox controller? Amazon, AliExpress etc. thank you
the fuck was that argument
i feel like i lost brain cells from you
are you done yet
I would personally go with neither, but that's because I'm a biased Dell UltraSharp user for life... 🤣 If I were forced to choose between the 2 models you've noted, the AOC looks like the better monitor overall, unless you regularly (read: all the time) use Variable Refresh Rate.
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/xiaomi-g-pro-27i-vs-aoc-q27g3xmn/71604/41611
The AOC Q27G3XMN and the Xiaomi G Pro 27i are competing budget-friendly 1440p monitors. They each have Mini LED backlighting, with the Xiaomi having 1,152 zones and the AOC having 336 zones, but both of their local dimming features are good. The main advantage of the Xiaomi is that it gets much brighter, especially in SDR, so it's the better cho...
Mind sending which ultra sharp monitor you use?
or is it in a different budget category
The AOC is 284 euro while the Xiaomi is 341 euro
Sure! I have dual U2715H monitors right now. UltraSharp displays are definitely not in the budget price bracket, but they're also not in the high-end price bracket either. They're meant for people who spend hours and hours in front of their screens doing a mix of office / document work, photography, videography, and creative work on a more amateur / prosumer scale.
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/dell/u2715h
Its not even available here :( Only a single used u2715h but its 360 euro.
Truly thanks for your input doe, I was leaning more towards the AOC beforehand (mostly due to the Xiaomi not being available untill 2 weeks ago), but I heard of people talking about how the AOC is bad with its low amount of dimming zones.
I'm overthinking this doe, anything will be an upgrade from my 2008 samsung 1680*1050 :P
I mean... that monitor isn't really available anywhere. It's ~10 years old. The only places that might still sell it "new" are those that have "new old stock" units, or those that are lying about it's newness status.
Yall whats the best wireless gaming mouse for like around 40 bucks
if u can find a darmoshark m3s pro wireless for cheap go for that
or just a darmoshark m3
Philips Evnia 49M2C8900AM or Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 G95SD, i cant decide :(
I kind of want a new controller to play on PC, I play space marine 2 and monster hunter currently for example
From what I saw flydigy is a really good brand with their vader and apex both being well regarded
I was wondering a few things :
What are the difference between pro and non pro versions ?
Are those good for really small hands, do you maybe have any recommendations for small hands ?
I see that they can be bought on aliexpress, how much cheaper are they usually there and what kind of store should I pick ?
Like is this one legit ? If yes, at 70eur I guess it's kind of unbeatable no ?

hello, im looking for a "above deck" style keyboard, any recommendations? trying to spend like £50 whilst black friday sales are on
What do you guys think of the AOC Agon PRO AG276QZD2? I'm gonna get this but if you say that there's a significantly better option for a 27" 1440p OLED I'll happily get that, I have the cash for a more expensive one but if you say that what I found is a good choice I'll go for that one. I couldn't find a lot of reviews on it, could also be a skill issue on my side though. From what I could find it seems pretty decent
@tardy saddle ended up buying the AOC. It truly looks incredible
Hmm, okay. I may or may not get a monitor arm as I'm not sure whether I'll like the awfully asymmetrical base of the monitor. I'm pretty convinced I'll get that then. I'm still torn on whether to strike now or wait for a little more for it to maybe drop further during the black friday week. I really want to pull the trigger but something's still holding me back. I mean what's an extra 50-100 bucks off anyway? It's already 60 bucks off rn
Idk this one specifically but thing is there aren't that many oled panels, so as long as it's a recent woled/qdoled and it's at a good price you are probably good to go
Also if it's you first oled..... Just buy it
Alright, thanks for the reassurance! I'll go for the AOC then. It'll be a major upgrade anyway going from 24" 1080p144 TN to 27" 1440p240 OLED
Anyone got keyboard recommendations? / where's a good start to figure out what i want.
Im using a steelseried apex 3 at the moment just find it gets quite dirty and annoying to clean due to the gap between the plastic under the keycaps.
Ideally want something thats got a good ip rating for sweat / dust/dirt ir whatever if thats possible.
And something easy to clean. I haven't got a set budget but dont want to go crazy, £150 (GBP) would be my absoljte top, ideally closer to £100 would be nice. would be open to used ad well if worth it.
70 usd bakeneko bfcm in cannonkeys
Looking to build custom board that doesn't break the bank
As the ones I've been recommended have been a bit pricy
bruh u still here
buy a topre already
Too expensive
bro
@warped tinsel how this too expensive for you
and hhkb needs modding to be good too
how much would be considered breaking the bank? has the qwertykeys neo product line been suggested to you yet?
Well they have high shipping costs is my issue with them
Atleast to Canada they do
curious if it gets cheaper if you buy from a reseller, especially on inside canada
what is lime base
yeah saw that, it almost instantly sold out
they have aula budget but wants a custom
go get a lucky65 and call it a day
gmk lime base kit
Will take a look. Is there anything you'd recommend looking at to figure out whoch type of switches to get
i sent the link, the will incklude everything
keycap and switches
so it shouldnt be ur concern
technically, 69 and 79 bucks for a fully built keyboards
i talked with cannonkeys and they said this year ucan choose ur desire color, every year is random iirc
My only concern is this.. Looks like it will be vulnerable to dirt
Pet hair and whatever else..
Not sure if Im being stupid either but the images are just a keyboard skeleton, nothing else?
Nevermind Im right, I was hoping for something that isn't custom. Something that I can just play / play but customise at checkout (like colour, switches) that's about it. Not really into custom keyboards.
it is 100% not
atleast not more than a regular keybaord anyways
I ahve the bakeneko65 which the bigger cousin of that board
Okay. Either way, rather something that I can just buy and use. No knowledge of custom keyboars so dont really want the hassle of buying multiple parts just to put it together. Unless it's actually worth it then maybe
soldered keybs have similar resistance to dirt
just don’t eat and crumble over the kb while you pull switches in/out
Hi there, long story but I can only get these monitors...
which one should I get?
ok so my options are:
- AOC Q27G42ZE
- MSI MAG 274QF X24
- Acer Nitro XV270U F3
- Legion 27-10 (68C5GAC4IS)
- 27Q-10 (68C6GAC4IS)
Thanks in advance!
its mostly between the AOC Q27G42ZE and the 27Q-10 (68C6GAC4IS)
both are lacking info so idk which one (both are the same price)
Every keuboard is
Anyone wish some knowledge, PLEASE 🙏🏻
Obviously, just looks like I'll have the same problem w/ it as I do with my apex 3
What about Glorious Model 0 Wireless, Keychron K2 and Steelseries Arctis Nova 3X for Windows (Gaming) and MacBook (Coding) setup?
Mid
Why?
all the components are mid range quality and price
Forget the Steam Machine
How much you think the new Steam Controller will cost?
Any opinions on the CU34G2XPD as an ultrawide option?
UW isn't a necessity, but I'm looking for good colours with 180+hz and 1ms
Budget of around 200-450gbp
How to clean my RedDragon Kumara K552?
What about some good stuff but for not much money?
Whats ur vudget
.
Should i buy https://www.komplett.no/product/798758/tv-lyd-bilde/hodetelefoner-tilbehoer/hodetelefoner/beyerdynamic-dt-990-pro-hodetelefoner-med-ledning-over-ear-sort?queryid=1c4bfd659e25a95e17b047ab483ee328&sort=PriceDesc#reviews or somthing like https://www.komplett.no/product/1325164/tv-lyd-bilde/hodetelefoner-tilbehoer/hodetelefoner/beyerdynamic-dt-770-pro-x-hodetelefoner-med-ledning-over-ear?queryid=903623f7afd52fa1b1f1c064b25697b1&sort=PriceDesc
I want to hear everything perfekt but have a bounch of friends who will say the wildest things and i dont want other too hear and there can be outside noice
do NOT get a DT990
How?
a LOT of treble
Treble?
Ahh
if this is within your budget. its really good
but its weirdly expensive there
should be more around 2350 Norwegian Krone
Fits the budget but dont like the cable parts
which part?
you want wireless?
Yes and no
are the first two you sent not wired? I dont understand
Less wires feels better i am used to 1 or wierless cable for both ear parts
This has 2 cables
ah yes, but they come together near your chest
trust me its a lot better having the cable hang centred in front of your body instead of to one side
Is it 2 cables turning into 1 or ?
Soo they would be the best for faming
faming?
yeah they'll be amazing for gaming
I'd go as far as to say they'll probably blow your mind if you've never gotten a seriously good headphone before
Best i have had soo far is my airpods max
this will have noticably higher resolution
and everything will sound bigger because they are open
I need a mic too like somthing white
Looked at the beacn
https://www.beacn.com/products/beacn-mic?srsltid=AfmBOoohWfY8rR8pIP0TKGmYsulZDkvp4xO6Uu__QWXc2sEbYR6l08Qq https://www.beacn.com/products/beacn-mix-create

Light and Dark Colors: Whether you have a bright or dark aesthetic for your setup, we've got you covered with a great looking dark or white color scheme. Our
But heard its not too greate
that mixing board is overpriced
Heard its like the goXLR
@fast sierra look in to SE Electronics X1A
and Motu m2
the Motu M2 is what you need to plug the microphone in to
you can also plug your Fiio FT1 Pro in there
But on the beacn mix there is for turning down volum?
Had a steelseries and i loved the thing where i can choose chat or game
I would love it for every app i have open
ah yeah, this thing isn't a mixer
in the end the BEACN isn't bad, I just find it overpriced
I have 0 idea about this soo
But with mic’s
The only thing i want is it to look good and sound deep and just good
an Audio Technica AT2020 and Motu M2 are usually the default for good sound quality
Il add it to the list😁
sE Electronics X1a just sounds a bit deeper, so I recommended that instead
I mean, you could digitally make the AT2020 sound deeper, but in case you dont want fiddling, the X1a is better
Fiddling like with tuning etc?
wait you can get sE Electronics X1a + Motu m2 + BEACN Mix Create, and the mic + interface are about the same price as the USB mic you recommended
yes
Any recomenings with keybord? I have a ducky one 2 mini and like it but looked at one steelseries one but the white one was limited edision if i am nor mistaking
Also have the g super light but find it slower than my friends razer v pro 3 i think
The keyboard people seem to be into keychron
for gaming I'd get something with low profile switches tho
Low profile?
switches that you have to press down less far before they trigger
Keychron Q3 Max, with its 80% TKL layout, is a full metal QMK/VIA wireless mechanical keyboard featuring 2.4 GHz connectivity and a 1000 Hz polling rate. Customize any key or create macro commands through VIA software as usual, and connect the Q3 Max with up to 3 devices through Bluetooth for seamless multitasking across Mac, Windows, and Linux.
I got this one
all my coworkers who are also into custom keyboards seem to really like mine for some reason
Depends, keychron is sometimes like the entry level if you have no idea what to get and wanting to just get something that works
I prefer the Brown switches in them, you can select that
this one has a fully aluminium chassis, typing on it is really satisfying
Ducky is soo beginning if you ask me
just the weight of this thing and the sound you get
Like 96.7% of my friends own it
Ducky seems like its 90% plastic...
Yes
I would let you see for yourself but as far as I know ducky basically just cheap garbage for an expensive price because its a name brand
like with the keychron, this thing is unbreakable
I can bent it
I can't even get a creeking noise out of mine, the chassis is aluminium
it weighs 2kg
Mine sounds like old flooring😂😂😂
real keyboard enthusiasts discover that plastic gives the greatest sound unfortunately
And a little hard punch makes the keycaps fly everywhere
you might like something like a Bridge 75 but would need more specifics about your preferences
Keybord: small, quite but nice
oh whoops, phone was moving around too much whilst recording
Love those types but cant with the clicking for long periods
And are you looking for just a prebuilt one or an actual custom keyboard where you also assemble the keyboard and can choose different parts
ah then you want to look for silent switches
oh god
I can unfortunately recommend some silent switches
@fast sierra do you know if you want tactile or linear switches
Linear sounds nice
Yes
Very good keybord if you want to abuse it
When i was younger i trew it in my wall and it got stuck there still works 5 years later
What is the thing you want to change by getting a new keyboard, is it just aesthetics
Like plain colors or transparent
Smoother for astetics
Like this backplate
And the waporwawe on clear caps
How much is your budget
Dont realy have one
But keep it under maybe like 500$ or somthing
Dont know the prices of this
Honestly it's probably best if you buy it separately, like keyboard + different keycaps + different switches
If you want something specific
Dont i have too lube the switches and everything?
No
You just snap switches into the keyboard, then put the keycaps on top
It's like a level between prebuilt and custom
Or idk if custom is the right word. But things like Qwertykeys neo where the keyboard itself is in like 4 pieces you assemble yourself as well
Mm this does seem to be one of those custom keyboards, its just the top frame here I think?
See if you can find like the kit version with all the pieces
Yeah you gotta get the kit so you have the PCB and plate and stuff
They're not
Oh wait I forgot with a custom you normally have to lube the stabilizers yourself but that's the only thing
holy60 I guess would fit in that category
It's not hard though
Just on install
or if you're used to stuff like wooting or ducky you'd probably not even notice it unlubed
What is the diffrense
It'll make the large keys like spacebar, shift, backspace, etc not rattle and tick as much
If i am buying new than i do it 100%
like the metal sound that comes after the click?
kinda tap on your spacebar and see if it makes a clicking/ticking noise even when you don't push it at all
and also when you shake the keycap around it probably rattles
I can just lube it shouldent be hard?
Yeah I think so
They show holy60 having a clear PC version you can pre-order
This was from kbdfans
They have it here too
Oh
Can you see it
Oh
Like the clear case
yeah
But everything els is seperate i think
Ah so wait I think the PCB in the kit, if you see the holy60 kit version, is just the redux60 pcb
it would come in pieces like this image, stabilizers need screwed into the PCB, then you put everything together in the case
Dose the pcb have anything to do with performance?
I know its like the motherbord of it if i am not mistaking
I don't think it really matters as long as it doesn't like, break
Specs #Keyboard Case# Case: Holy60 Case Material: AluminumStructure: Tray-mountCompatibility: with most 60% PCB, including DZ60 rev3.0/DZ60 RGB-ANSI/DZ60RGB V2/GH60/Wooting 60HE PCB, etc.Weight: The case approximately 0.22 kgTyping angle: 7 degree #PCB# 1.6 mm non-flex cut hotswap PCB with RGB underglow and per-key R
@flat dock
Looks sick
Yea that with the PC case and PC plate is what I was talking abouy
You can get key caps like that, I think it's called "side printed"
How do i get the rgb tho😂
PCB should have it built in
The keyboard software would be https://usevia.app btw, it's online and doesn't require a download
What backplate
Like the bottom case with the holes in it?
Ohh
I can't imagine it being required for a technical reason
I don't think it comes with a backplate included
bet this keyboard would never have cooling problems 🧌
the backplate is inclouded it says here
hmm
but i am gaming on my heater😃
ny desk
only big heater
& Regarding the keyboard, I tried looking online to get closer to what I'm after - I quite like the creamy sound. If anyone has any recommendations for that as well, leaning toward £100 to spend on that if possible. Using apex 3 atm. Full sized
might wanna forward this to #audio-tech
to my knowledge you aren't really gonna find such a mic that just magically rejects more background noise, other than different pickup patterns (but snowball is already cardioid)
you might want noise reduction software
Cheers, missed that channel lol
Any softwares you can recommend?
Idk
@flat dock
slight problem

this aint nordic keybord
Oh. If you need iso then that strongly restricts what options you have for keyboards
yes
i need my æ ø å
i am from norway
and a lot of words use øæå
do i get this than
Any good premium keyboard recommandation
don't care about gaming
Want nice sound with clicky switches
No need for magnetic switches
buget is like $400cad or lower
take a look at the qwertykeys neo series
various different layouts
don't really want to build my own
ibm model f at
I know @fervent breach has a recommendation
topre realforce 87u
you will never buy another keyboard if you don’t get really into the hobby
or a hhkb if you’re feeling cheap, but get a pro 2
cyberboard, lowfree, filco.leopold
Dont talk to me
Kalam really
😭
They need proper tuning to sound fine
Thats not kalam
I would never get a kalam while being friends with keyb designers
Thats just shambolic
Its just a fucked up kohaku
And korn
Wait it is
Wtf
This is a client build @worldly garden
Is a kohakorn
Made by kalam
So they slam kohaku weight on a unikorm kalam case
Is so terrible
Used to have one for 150 quid
For a meme build
Is pain in the ass
So I have been looking for a usb hub that has usb-c and usb-a downstream ports that’s under 50usd the ones I have found either don’t have a long enough upstream cable to plug into the back of my pc or the ones that do I’ve heard they die after x months was wondering if you’ll had any recommendations
Should I get the death adder v3 pro or hyperspeed?
just buy a usb extender cable for it
Is the worst kalam yet besides their libra and prion
I saw someone displaying / proudly telling people that they've got a kalam ottantaquatro
fucking kalam orion is diabolical
Their anode color is mismatched LMFAO
worst clone yet
if kalam's backweight was actually different, it would've been good
They are makong daji oc now
fuck off 😭
bro what is the point of clones
if you can't buy it, but another board instead
actually diabolical
diabolical
im looking at getting this due to it being on a sale atm, but theres only the barebone version available. im having trouble figuring out which switches and keycaps to get, or which ones are compatable with it. Is there an easy way to know what i need to get or any recommendations? Ive used tactiles in the past and ive liked them, but im looking at maybe some linears for a quieter keyboard in case i want to use one in the office, and once i know what to look for i can always try different switch types later. https://www.keychron.com/collections/all-keyboards/products/keychron-q13-pro-alice-layout-qmk-via-wireless-custom-mechanical-keyboard
@worldly garden also got this btw
why don't you try silent tactiles?
imo if you're used to normal office keyboard, they tend to be the nicer version of that
Hm?
Woah free keyboards
I'm going to cerakote it / do a spray paint job myself
as for keycaps, look for the ones that says mini bar, if you can give me a colourscheme you're going for, I can recommend some keycaps your way @timid horizon
Probably cause I’ve never heard of such a thing. What I’m using at the moment is just a Logitech g613 and I’ve liked it but it’s time for an ergo
yeah no problem, so for the board you're after, you want a keycap with alice and 100% support
most all in one kits should cover this, but as I said, if you can let me know what colour you're after I can get some recommendations up your way
W
@timid horizon your combination is hard to find without spending alot of money
but
this is somethign i recommend
layout wise it has everything you need
numpad, alice split spacebar and extra B
then there's this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007378465113.html?
which are clones
I see keychron has some silent bananas that are tactile, might try those. As for the keycaps, I was moreso just wanting to know, on the website this one ships with KSA doubleshot, do I need to look for that or do I just need to make sure the switch is comparable with the keycap and then pick ones I like with the Alice layout?
but should sitll cover everything
Yeah, I’m fine with this, it’s my Christmas present for this year and I haven’t really splurged on anything this year so I’m getting a nice keyboard
you basically just have to make sure that whatever keycap you're buying is compatible with alice and has 7u bottom row support and numpad support
to be honest...
I just literally bought a board that's arguably nicer
same layout
If you’ve got a suggestion I’m all ears
Yeah I remeber you mentioned feker a little while back and I looked at them. I’ll take another look, there was something that made me stop looking though and I don’t remember what it was
it's probably the countour on them
they're cheaper than the keychron one
So, if I were to get one of the feker ones, the wireless ships with petal switches, if I were to try and switch those with the linear switches, would I need to look for any specific switches to be compatible with the keyboard or are hot swap switches just one size fits all?
i think I remember whey you didn't want it @timid horizon
it's because of the switches, you would need to swap it with tactile
this is a hotswap MX style switch, so any MX switches would be compatible
Yeah but if the keychron is only barebones then I’d have to do that anyways so I’ve resigned myself to this now anyways :p
there's 5 pin vs 3pin but that hardly matters since the board is 5pin PCB
That's true, but just remember your total cost might come out to 200
That’s fine, like I said, I’m splurging a bit on this one. I’m not gonna go buy that split wooden alice 500$ keyboard or something but I’m gonna spend some on this
So for the keycaps, do profile matter for compatability or is it just preference?
ish, normally it doesn't matter as long as it's uniform
but for alice, i usually like cherry / ASA
I tried SA it's not good, KSA is somehow worse
tried CXA profile, also not good
I'd say stick to cherry
get that board, + some silent tactiles, + this keycap I just sent
That should allow you to get your foot in the door without commiting so much money
This is not a cheap hobby
Yeah, but if I’m going down the rabbit hole, it might as well be with an Alice
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007459638140.html? oetemu lemon is quite cheap
good silent tactile
So you mentioned I need to make sure they’re MX switches, is that the stem type like this?
yep, so cross stem is MX
POM is the material
most switches you'd see are MX switches, but if you're unsure, feel free to ping me
Alright, I think I know what to look for now and kinda where to start, ima keep digging later this afternoon and I’ll let you know if I hit a wall again, thanks!
no probs
this is what that switch sounds like btwhttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/WOEds3OedLQ

Glorious - GMMK PRO Prebuilt 75% Wired Mechanical Keyboard
Is this a good keyboard to get to upgrade from my razor black widow v2?
anything's an upgrade from a black widow
but not that one
Go get yourself a bridge75
or Monsgeek m1
Much more premium keyboards than GMMK pro
while being cheaper
suggestions for new monitors?
Thanks so much
I have been informed that usb-c extensions don’t exist apart from sketchy ones as most of them do pd and the watts differ
I did see this though people in the reviews say that it does after a while

I was looking into the kits that they offer, how do I know which direction I go for switches?
I am done with loud keyboards so do I go for a creamy one?
i depends on the switch itself
listen for sound tests and figure out
right now personally, i'm rocking an LK65 From luminkeys with akko rosewoods
Very nice and deep sounding switch
Interesting, I will do some more research
oh, this is a plastic case, i didnt realize. their other one is metal but its not 100%. sadge
Hello,
I am looking for a new headset. I currently have the Logitech x2 pro lightspeed and they just broke and will not connect with the dongle.
I am looking for something wireless with a built in mic, I do not want headphones + a seperate mic. It is not an option for what I need. I keep seeing mentions of the Audeze Maxwell but it appears they are sold out everywhere apart from buying used.
Budget: $300-400USD
any opinions on keychron v1 max?
the deed is done. with everything bought its 300$ but that includes some stuff other than the kb, with kb stuff only it was 215$ish with the Q13 max. I looked for other alice metal kbs at 96 or 100 but didnt see any. Only thing i wish i had done different was the Wavez keycaps but couldnt seem to find them anywhere, i got the hammerhead dark ones instead, but if i like these im sure ill get the wavez one at some point in the future.
r2 is cooler because there is a latin kit
hirigana or whatever that ugly ass shit is
and proper modifier legends
So done a bit more research on keyboards. Still trying to figure out what else I can research to try get more help on what to pick
Budget £80-120 ish.
Want:
TKL, Switches I was thinking linears, not sure if thats a good choice but seems fine.. I just play games, make music & message. I used to want a clicky board but starting to like the creamy/thocky sound a bit more. Havent found any videos that have a decent range of testing though..
Hot swappable would be a bonus.
Not wanting to mod heavily or make something custom, just something I can plug and play and mod down the line if I want to.
RGB isn't necessary, have it on my current keyboard (Apex 3) and it's whatever.
Any recommendations would be great, or if anyone can direct me to give more precise details on what Im after to get a better recommendation..
I ordered the keychron v1 max recently. Hoping for the best
Bridge 75
Monsgeek M1
Also like having the full sized enter bar
They all sound alright, would hope for something similar sounding but a bit less loud if thats possible? And build wise, something more premium would be nice just depends how much of a price bump that'll be. Don't care too much though

Do u also have one?
Also thats straight up bullshit
R1 had alpha kit
R2 and r1 are literally the same
Hmm taking a look at all the ones suggested so far. Which plate / switches recommended?
I like oat + PP plate more
Theres also other options for cheap tkl what is good but not metal
Transition lite, tigerlite gaming and classic TKL, all good polycarb tkl cases
Is there one you would say that's just an easy buy once and forget about it?
ecosystem they said
Which sixtyfive colorway should I go with?? I can’t decide 😭😭. 1 is white/pc/black mirror, 2 is white/silver mirror, and 3 is white/maple/silver mirror.

like a gaming mouse
Ah I don't use em
Opinion is too many buttons I won't use and more stuff means more stuff to break added cost or cheaper components, but probably depends on game or mapping you want to use etc if that's an important feature
it doesnt need to many buttons, just 2
Well I guess I do have "g series" mice but most basic ones
thats what i have right now haha
I like the white pc black and white silver
problem is it's mirror finish
and it's genuinely one of the worst finish for a bottom weight
it's like pre buying a scratched weight
not alpha base kit
so still has shitty modifiers.
IE youre forced to buy over half of the kits to get the same compatibility as the r2 latin base kit
atleast it's still there
I personally prefer the hiragana
you're buying a weeb set, might as well go full weeb
meh
hirigana is too busy for me, sold my r1 darling in the heat of the hype for like 800
I'm the opposite, I find the latin too plain
mx is boring as hell
unbased uneducated opinion
one of the most braindead crowds in the keyboard hobby
thats insane considering its literally the opposite
sure buddy
truthfully I don't mind real force boards, it's the HHKB in particular that I have an issue with
The only thing carrying that thing is the layout, besides that everything about it is cheap, horrible, creaky and shit
it sounds amazing and you are just a noob
been in the hobby since 2013, been there done that lmao
cope harder you paid 200 for rubber keyboards
thats cool and all but i didnt really ask, also 2013 is still noob territory
cup rubber >>>>>
rukia corsa?
no lmao
360c w/ g81-3000SAV/00
crazy how youve been around since 2013 and only know of the clone of this board
I've been in the board scene since 2013, but mostly with early MX based boards
I still have my Gigabyte Osmium
first ever board mech I bought
it was released in 2013 so thats funny
yeah.. I literally got it from korea
thats a clone of the board i posted
oh neat, didn't know
"fRoM kOrEa"
it literally is you brainlet
pretty wild
it is from korea
it's using a very weird layout though I won't lie
but it was really good board, realistically only stopped using it last year
or early this year, since I used it in the office quite a lot
looks like a modified version of JIS
just get a korean realforce
I will do at some point
but I can't lie, nothing about topre is drawing me in
I would rather get a venom PCB with raeds
topre feels good, regardless of what youre going to say next, i was a mx slob for a long time
let's agree to disagree
I don't like topre, but much of this hobby is preference anyways
before making a projection
kek
I'm going to get a cipulot controller for it at some point, or that conversion kit to make it wireless
got a pro 2 2012 that I've lubed
atleast made the stabilizers semi bearable
yall arguing about the most subjective part of keyboards is too funny lol
Should I get my little brother the turtle beach afterglow wave for christmas, i've found it on sale for 30 bucks

40 years on this planet saying sugma is crazy
you have 40 years on this planet? thats unfortunate, 40 more to go
Reading is hard I get it
You said 12 years in the hobby is noob so I’m just assuming
I’m down
there has to be a language barrier or something here because youre decrepit
Do you always use words wrong or?
Bro said there’s a language barrier and then called me elderly lmao
also synonymous with impaired.
Lmao no it’s not
you can use google its okay
Impaired is a temporary condition
What’s your fav keyset plandomizer

[IC] DCS Blue Moon - GB Feb 2nd-March 2nd | Hibi and Keybee Collabs Announced

private dcs runs are where its at
GMK 1520 was better for sure
Superweld would’ve been legendary if we didn’t get cucked

R1 BA didnt have a blue row
Yeah it was interesting lol
Oh really
feeling lazy, I need to sonic clean some vints
not worth the effort
youll damage switch leaves but yuh
not if you do it slowly
I've seen people damaging leaves when they try to speed run breaking in
i have a vintage black build in my otd and they suck, easier to just buy new ones
I mean, is it practical? absolutely not, it's more of a curious project more than anything
the best result was using mr clean floor cleaner in my ultrasonic
could actually be the play for mx2a you know
squeaky clean
I just use liquid washing up soap and warm water
i hope you have an industrial cleaner
but will try that too
those jewelery ones do not cut it
which one have you used?
to be fair, it's not like this batch is giga bad, Just want to clean it just cause
I think the break in machine would do most of the effort
if they arent bad youre better off cleaning by hand
mixing up housing pieces aint it
Oh I don't have this, I have a jewelry one to try out
seems to work tho from the looks of it
Noice
they seem to be the most decent one for nto alot of money
I have that 3d printed one from way back when lol I forgot their name
feng studio
it was the better one for sure
I sold some broken in switches to make back what I paid for it so it was a good deal

2021 dolphin and mech27 v1
top build has vintage blacks, bottom is vintage browns
and dcs dolch
i dont remember, theyre from a g80-5000
very nice, did you harvest the caps too?
i bought the browns from someone, would never harvest an ergoplus
Wasn’t there some drama with mech27
someone was selling some g80 caps a while back for like 100, I wish I got it 😭
yes
now it sells for like 400
I have a very modern collection
mines all topre now
same
with like 10 exceptions
Did get some bangers like magicforce68
still my favorite layout to this day and partly the reason why I like WS aurora and Freya
I’ve never heard of this board
it's a budget pick back in like late 2010s early 2020s?
Ah
you could get them for like 40$ and weren't half bad
nice compact layout too
Is it like the ikki 68 layout
yesss
Ahhh makes sense
I wanna cop one, it's quite cheap these days
Layout fucks
I never bought into any of the budget boards
Except a neo ergo recently lol
I was looking at that one recently
It’s very good
there's one I'm waiting on

I want to get a dual stack monitor setup, would it be better to get something like this (https://a.co/d/1o2k3Oc) or this (https://a.co/d/8pPjr6g)
The VIVO model STAND-V002T stand is made of high-grade steel and aluminum. Fits most regular and ultrawide monitors 13" to 34". Supports up to 22 lbs per monitor. Every joint is able to be tightened, so you can adjust exactly how fluid/stationary you want everything, simply remove the cap on the ...
Depends entirely on mounting options available to you today, and in the future. I like how clean a wall mount makes things, however, let's say you move somewhere that doesn't let you put your computer up against a wall. Then what? On the other hand, the clamp style mounts require a desk of adequate thickness made of half-decent wood (not particle board and not IKEA honeycomb) to support the weight...
Yeah I think I’m gonna do the wall mount
Should I use two of the one I sent or get a huano dual wall mount @tardy saddle
Again, that depends entirely on your setup. you will want to screw these into wall studs NOT DRYWALL so ensure you've got wall studs in your walls that these can mount to.
Well I want to do something like this
after 3 months sadly the reviews and issues showed through
corsair virtuoso max
headband snapped at the weakpoint like all of the reviews warned...
can anyone think of a tempoary fix? or a way of preventing this? corsair is willing to replace it but id hate to have to do a warranty claim every 3 months....
if it simply snaps after wearing the headphones for prolonged time without straining them by stretching or accidental falls… there’s not much you can do abt it. from which material is the inside and of the headband made of?
@silk moat try asking them for a different product
corsair doesn’t make the best headphones
but their cases are decent
they’re just bad headphones ngl
who bribed you to buy them?
like $200-300??? i don’t really see the point of buying them at that price
mini usb 8 pin?
Well it has more than 8 pins…
12p usb?
mehh not 12p usb
@willow shell it should be some variation of mini usb 8 pin
It's common with cameras, I think the name for it is AV cable?
my nikon d3200 had one
I still don't know how people buy corsair peripherals
Thinking of upgrading my monitor I currently have the aw3423dwf and thinking of getting the pg32ucdp. I like 21:9
The pg32ucdp is 16:9, no?
That's a proprietary "UC-E6" connector, sometimes known as "8-pin Mini B" USB.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardware
The initial versions of the USB standard specified connectors that were easy to use and that would have high life spans; revisions of the standard added smaller connectors useful for compact portable devices. Higher-speed development of the USB standard gave rise to another family of connectors to permit additional data links. All versions of US...
Tryna come to a choice on a purchase now. Thoughts?
After tkl, uk layout & linears
https://amzn.eu/d/1W9HgkV
And creamy/thocky sound
Though not dead set on it its just one that I find nice haven't really looked into loads of other stuff but just wanna get something purchased
just buy a realforce 87u
or buy whatever you want
there is no reason to be picky because you can purchase more than 1
Got to love a hd600
FROM OL' MATE SENN
herdur sixhundos
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!
nice pair with my dt770pro's and dt990pro's
dusty pads
dandruff
who cares
me
guys what is a good affordable (300-400 aud) ffb wheel
Thrustmaster T300 RS is a good option, but idk if it'll be <400 AUD, I have my doubts. Maybe on sale
well its not dust, its dandruff. Cant really do anything about it. I could try to use head and shoulders, but that kinda made things worse
Selsun Blue
i got the dt770 250ohm recently, im rly liking it (with sound blaster g8)
Good choice. I got the 250ohm version aswell.
I honestly couldn’t give a shit about how they sound I just want type c charging and a mic on the headphones
The xt’s were fine.
Only reason I swapped over was because of a bad type c port and being lazy with not wanting to repair it.
Which I guess I’ll fix it since I’ll have to swap over to this one while I wait for the others to get swapped out
But it’s fine since I’ll get Corsair to pay for the headphones with how many rma’s I’ll be doing in the coming months 🤣
don’t logitech g400 and g500 series have that as well? just at a much cheaper price
and better sounding cans
not good mic tho
why buy a headset with a shit mic?
and i have experience with logitechs headphones not a big fan
can someone help me find some monitor arms for a setup like this
gentler shampoos helped with me
and trying to keep the water temperature as low as possible (without freezing)
why buy headset with poor sounding cans
they sound good enough and headphones are pretty shit for getting into hifi
yes their bq is poor, mics on most of their headphones/sets as well
but sound quality is still better than corsair's
on like g535
those have the crappy frabic the g933's came with on the earpads
no mic but I rock hd600s with dekoni pads
they genuinely sound like $15 headphones
comparable to*
the thing is i never really asked you for that info nor do i care.. asked for recomendtions on making the headband stronger which you didnt even attampt to answer
its fine beacuse i have a few ideas of mine own ill try.
because it's sunk cost...
i'm sure you could use something like this https://www.amazon.com/WALI-Monitor-Adjustable-Monitors-GSDM003XL/dp/B0DX7D7QXV/ref=sr_1_17?sr=8-17 and adjust it according to the photo if you're interested in just one mount
another option would be to buy 2 different mounts, one with the stacked monitor layout and the other standard mount
i mean you said here that you swapped and paid for the premium corsair headphones just bc your usb c broke on the old pair of xt's
replacing or reinforcing headband may be harder depending on who you ask
like even duct tape will work but after about wearing it 10 times it will come loose and no longer hold it together, glue as well if you're not careful it can crack
if corsair is willing to give your a new pair then do that
and reinforce the new pair
i also didn't suggest anything to make the headband stronger because i thought it was just not worth it... a $20 mic + $40 headphone combo would be better than the corsair unit likely or rma and get brand new unit
like yk you paid $200-300 for a headphone and you don't care about how it sounds
interesting decisions
770 is trash tho
Same with 990
I think I want to do two wall mounts and then a normal one
i'm presuming that the 2 walled mounted monitors would be stacked?
https://www.amazon.com/PUTORSEN-Dual-Monitor-Wall-Mount/dp/B0DRV1YMG4/ref=sr_1_3?sr=8-3 you could look into something like this, this is a singular wall mount with 2 monitors in a stacked layout
It doesn’t seem like there is much adjustment
you can probably just look up "gas spring monitor wall mount" and you'll find what you're looking for
Yeah I’m just gonna go with the huano
sweet
I got a new Samsung Odyssey G7 (2025) last month and have been enjoying it, but have just found a deal breaker that I wish I knew about previously.
The monitor is constantly broadcasting itself to pair with bluetooth devices, and there is literally zero way to disable it in any of its settings menus.
I have a neighbor who keeps trying to connect to the thing, and each time it brings up a big pop up on the screen over top anything I am doing.
I cannot make it stop.
Ok, I changed the ID of the device to "Do not connect" and it stopped
Why the hell would anyone make a bluetooth mode that is always broadcasting itself for pairs
Devices should have a pairing mode that the user manually turns on
What would bluetooth even do for the monitior? The only thing I can see it’s use for would be to use it’s built in speakers
LOL. What a poorly designed User Experience by the one and only Samsung. They do understand how apartment buildings work, right? 🤣 https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Monitors-and-Memory/Cannot-turn-off-Smart-Monitor-Bluetooth/td-p/2904346
The Samsung Customer Service representative said it's impossible to turn off the bluetooth and suggested asking my neightbour to stop connecting. It's pretty much like asking hackers not to hack my devices.
I contacted Samsung Customer Service and asked about turning off Samsung Smart Monitor bluetooth connection due to random people kept connecting to my monitor and it kept showing the request prompt. The Samsung Customer Service representative said it's impossible to turn off the bluetooth and sugges...
hey, can anyone tell me if this monitor is good for 400 usd? https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/aoc/agon-pro-ag276qzd2
can rtings tell if a monitor is good?
Whether or not something is "good" is far too complex for a single review site to reveal alone, mostly because "good" is subjective. Rtings is a great place to begin your search for whatever it is you're looking to buy though.
One of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies.
yeee
you must buy every product in the world in order to define what is good
you must buy every product you define as good to define what is good
no
you must experience every type of pain available in the world of [products] in order to know what is not painful and therefore good
Think imma rock my dt770pros for a while. The hd600's are great, but gotta change it around for a while
"Please don't hack me" 😂 I see NO REASON for this to be a "feature"
I need some advice from someone who knows key switches. Which one would someone suggest between the Gateron Cap v2 switches or the Kailh Box V2 Switch Set red switches
Glad I waited a bit, going to put a 4 year warranty on this too
i already did that twice
Wooting 60he+? Saw v2 coming but need a good keyboard sooner than that. Play valorant. Price doesnt rlly matter, not building one.
If u just want amth works yeah wooting will do
size of monitor is the only real factor to consider for monitor arms. without even clicking the links i see you have 2 27in monitors. just find a dual mount you like and stick with that, i prefer the gas shock style mounts.
At least you didn’t go Samsung
My parents got me an odyssey g8 32 inch for Christmas and they decided to take a look at it a couple hours ago
Got a green line
I recently did buy a samsung oled, s90d 77", I put a 5 year warranty on it however.
Warranty was expensive
I think their monitors come with warranty by default
