i have it and i said is fine
and u wont agree
because u hear others say is bad
right
if you like it then that's fine but it doesn't seem like a good recommendation to me given that there's much better and cheaper switches
take a look in communities that talk about switches
It is a pretty common opinion
as i said dont just shit on them because "i heard people said is bad"
I think it's completely fair, I'm trying to give useful recommendations
me too
You might wanna practice this one yourself as well though
That's like my primary experience with you
diamond lee try not to ragebait challenge
how do i enable discord integration in the new logitech g hub version? i cant find it, ive looked everywhere i could think of
no I don't sell
but there's a cool safa red tkl for sale
Can anyone recommend me a decent mouse?
Or does my mouse even matter if I'm not a super competitive gamer
Link ?
Ok 5 degree angle
Bye...

srgb 124.7, 160hz at 4k, 320 at 1080p
idk about at 2k tho
probs 200 sum
im very tempted for this
whats the significance of response tie btw?
some advertise 1ms, some ate like 0.5ms
ect ect
I'm assuming you just got paid 😭
try PH market as well, they have alot of sale
Philipines ? LOL

After messing around with plates/mounting, ended up staying with the cf plate with top mount
why the fuck is the return key on left shift?
I like the accent color, but they don’t make a shift accent key so I did what I had too
Ik which key is the shift key, so does it REALLY matter that much??
Yes you will explode if use the wrong keycaps
Now put an artisan on the e key
currently have a great 165 hertz 1440p monitor should i get oled 1440 or a 4k?
i got a 5070 i9-12900k 32gigs ddr5 so i think i should be fine for 4k but oled would be amazing
4k oled
Been looking for a OLED Main monitor for a long time, coming from a 24" ACER 165hz monitor, mainly play cinematic and scenic games, not much into the twitch shooters as much.
Found this on Amazon yesterday https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0FB46P6F6 has a 25% off coupon putting this at ~561USD shipped.
It seems pretty decent, I don't care much about the speakers (positively or negatively), but if they are there, they are there.
Any thoughts on this? Should I buy it?
4k doesnt really matter with computer screens
1440p is much more worth it
for the same money you can get better hz and shit
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/odyssey-oled-g6-g60sd-s27dg60
friend of mine has one of these, most beautiful monitor ive seen
What's the best current analog keyboard ? Price/quality wise, not forcefully the most expensive
This is absolutely false btw, only someone who never owned a 4K monitor can say that
Ive tried em, its a matter of preferance really
I dont see 4k as worth it
Well like a dual res thing could be cool
Well first I disagree, it's absolutely better, but even if it were a matter of preference you then should not say "it doesn't really matter"
1440p 240hz / 4k120hz thing or whatever
Also every 4K OLED are 240Hz you know
Oh cool
Except ok maybe the dell one linked above but it's not made for gaming so yeah would not recommend this one
Why not? 120hz is plenty, and the response time is .03ms should be great for gaming, Freesync Premium Pro as well. Would love your thoughts. As stated, I don't play twitch shooters.
Yes why not, i just don't know the price, is it really cheaper ?
Also, 120hz in oled is hard
wdym by hard, I am a monitor noob.
Piel response time is too low it feels stutter
cant get wrong with dell
Yeah I ordered it, $553 shipped for a 120hz gen 3 4k 32" QD-OLED panel. Seems unbeatable. Also seems the coupon I used for 25% off has been removed . https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FB46P6F6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
bros nearsighted
Probably something like the tiger lite venom pcb, but there might be newer things very recently
@worldly garden Should i buy a niz
does anyone know what happened to LG 45GX990A?
https://www.lg.com/ca_en/computing/featured-page/ultragear-oled-gaming-monitor-2025/
LG Electronics unveils the UltraGear™ GX9 series of premium OLED gaming monitors at CES 2025. This lineup includes the award-winning 45GX990A, featuring a bendable 5K2K display and advanced Dual-Mode functionality. With high brightness, true blacks, and low blue light emissions, these monitors enhance gaming immersion. The 39GX90SA smart gamin...
the non-bendable 950 released a while back, but there's been total silence about this
my desk is not deep enough for the 950's massive curve, but the specs look awesome. totally willing to buy the bendable 990 just to have it flat 95% of the time.
Niz what
For neo 65 core plus what should I pick for these
Looking for thockier sound signature
for the weight put the one desired for ur aesethics
What about PCB and plate
whichever u like
you'll want the hotswap pcb, either wired or wireless is what two options there are
for plate i'd say PP plate is likely what you want. Carbon fiber and aluminum are stiffer materials and will make it slightly higher pitched
since when pp plate thocks lol
uh since always
it's one of the softest plates
to my knowledge it is one of the thockiest if that's even a thing
but you need the rest of the keyboard to do it
plate and weight does like 2%
U mistook them with pom
yeah pom is another softer and deeper one
all the plastics basically
somebody should go document the mechanical properties of various common plate mixtures
There are review and other stuff, it's just really expensive and people are more drawn towards the more normal screens
21:9 is cool but isn't really worth twice the price just for that imo, even if I am really interested in this monitor
But having tested a 45" 21:9 and owning a 42" 16:9 once I can say that using this flat isn't a good idea
Not worried about the flatness or price. I’ve been using the very mildly curved asus designo 38” for several years (and LG34UM95 for years before that)
and the asus is pretty much the max curve my desk can reasonably accomodate
Bruh
So the weight doesn't effect sound at all ?
a really tiny bit AFAIK. You shouldn't choose it based on sound
If it bigger it does
Knowing that midly curved would make the green part smaller
But sure, if it's not a problem for you, same for the price, it's a great monitor !
There's an rtings review if you want to
And I believe a monitor unboxed one ?
But in the end it's just another WOLED monitor, they all are similar color wise, and they are all great
get 25e3q if it is avail
Does anyone here have experience with the greaseweazle 4.1? Can i leave it plugged in to usb and the floppy rider while rebooting a system? I'm considering permanentley intalling a drive and weazle in my case.
My headphones just broke and thus looking to get a new pair. It would be for mostly gaming but some movie/tv shows. Should I get a high end headphones like HDB 630 or go for a cheaper headset and speakers for movie/tv shows?
Need it to be closed backed as I have noisy neighbors
hi! anyone know where i can get good keycaps without a legend for a good price? i would prefer black but any color is fine .
630s will work for you
one of the very few good closed backs
What microphone should i buy?
should i get Asus XG27AQWMG or ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen2 (XG27AQDMGR) Monitor
Which profile ?
Aliexpress has good PBT keycaps legendless of any colors
Since they don't have any legends "good" is easy to reach
cherry
price?
its around the same but the aqwmg comes out in a month with tandem woled
and true glossy black coating
exact...
glossy is exciting if you have dim room
but it's a nightmare even if a bit of sun light gets into your room
apperantly the new true glossy is also useable in well lit rooms
or you have bright lights
i prefer semi-matte/semi-glossy woled
i love the insane deep blacks in the middle
beware it could be cherrypicked
wdym
that they picked specific scenario under which the other perform poorly
also, they included semi-glossy qd-oled but not semi-glossy woled
true but you can clearly see the bright light in the monitor
true but their main comparison is between glossy and trueblack glossy
idek why there is a third tbh
QD oled looks bad with a light in front, be it semi glossy or matte so eh
yea i dont like qd oled becomes purple ish with light
it also reflects a lot
my screen is opposite of a windows but i almost always have my blacked out curtains closed
and for my light, the ceiling is so heigh it doesnt reflect
otherwise i just turn it off and get a little desk light
hey idk if this is the right chat but i have been needing a new chair so bad and despise gaming chairs being known to be terrible my old one had lots of lumbar support and I would never feel any pain from being on it, so logically i reordered it when it broke and this time it was like sitting on a rock i now understand the hate, dont know what happened to their manufacturing but whatever anyways I was wondering the hype on the steelcase leap v2 chairs I see they're around 400 refurbished or second hand and is it really worth 400??
The hype is that steelcase and Herman Miller are widely considered top of the line and boujee offices are filled with them
For good reason too
The leap v2 is comfy but as a tall person you may miss having a headrest while reclining
There's an aftermarket option by Atlas headrest for it tho
I'll prefix this by saying almost NO furniture item is "worth" the asking MSRP (furniture has extremely high profit margins), but if you can snag a refurbished / recycled Herman Miller or some Steelcase models, you'll have a comfortable office chair that lasts for many years.
I upgraded from a $350 CAD Tempur Pedic Staples office chair (whose foam was already deteriorating) only ~3 years after purchase) to a Herman Miller Mirra 2 when my last employer offered one to all employees 18 months into sending us to work from home during the COVID pandemic. Sure, I got mine for free, but even if it had only been a temporary thing, I'd have bought a refurbished model for ~$700 CAD myself now that I've tried one.
Is flexispot poggers gang?
get 2 piece of glass
then stick it together with a miku decal inside
profit profit profit
300$ mousepad....
Any opinions on Womier SK75 TMR vs monsgeek m1 v5 tmr keyboards?
meh
Thank you
Thank you this helped a lot, It seems that many people agree those chairs easily pay themselves off since most of the cheap office chairs break after 1-2 years anyways, ill be ordering one soon
tomato tomato
anyone whos keyboard savy here? i need a new keyboard and i have like 0 experience with mechanical once
looking at keychron v6 max, k10v2 or ligtech MX mechanical and g915x
tryna get a wireless, full size mechanical keyboard with multi media controls
Balance 103
no designated multimedia controlls, also not avalable in my country so id have to import and pay 25% vat. so not worth it
Then what country would it need to be available in
The logi MX mechanical and keychron V6 max both don't have dedicated media controls so I'm confused
There are people that sell customizable mouse pads
like, you send them a jpeg and they put it on the mouse pad
Norway
I think im just gonna go with the logitech g915 x tactical. Its on sales rn for 150$
It got basicly all i want Except for swapable/lubable keys. But im not veresed enough to know if it matters all that much
so uhh

do they sell keychron keyboards in pink and black? i cant seem to find it anywhere. looking for them as a christmas gift to my mom, would appreciate any help!
P.S. also looking for a matching pink mouse(right handed, 1-2 side buttons, more is ok)
None availiable
Is there such thing as something similar to OTG for lightning?
i don't think they sell pink and black keyboards. but you could buy one in black and then buy either https://www.keychron.com/products/oem-dye-sub-pbt-keycap-set-unicorn?_pos=1&_psq=unicorn&_ss=e&_v=1.0 or https://www.keychron.com/products/cherry-profile-double-shot-pbt-full-set-keycaps-dolch-pink whichever you think is better. and then just take some of the keycaps from the set and put on the keyboard. Ps. make shure that they are compatible with each other.
Made with durable, shine-resistant PBT material and engineered with dye-sub legends, the Keychron OEM Dye-Sub OEM PBT keycap Set set will stand up to the toughest typing. It’s a great fit for today’s top boards.
best i could find
keychron keycaps LOL
topre winkeys 10000x better
exceptionally rare topre W
thank you for this! i was planning on using a redragon k689 as a base since its around $40 on amazon right now. i will use these keycaps
I know this is purple but, it's another option
https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-K689-PRO-Mechanical-Hot-swappable/dp/B0FDKPF9QJ?th=1&psc=1
yeah this also works! i think i'll stick with the k689 since its cheaper and im kinda brok rn though
i don't think the keycaps is compatible with the k689 since redragon use there own custom switches
damn, i'll look into it more then
do you have a budget, you want to stick to?
like $100
Is that with the mouse?
no mouse is separate
Is the mouse for gaming or work?
work/general browsing
im also going to try to get her into gaming but she wont need a specific "gaming mouse" for it
How much do you want to spend on a mouse?

I play a lot of fifa and sometimes break my controller what controller is the best that is also relatively cheap? I want a Xbox type feeling
Can someone recommend me a good sub-$150 1440p monitor
You'll likely need to add on at least another $100 USD before you get to low-end 1440p monitors worth buying.
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/by-resolution/1440p-quad-hd-qhd

One message removed from a suspended account.
messaging me mid lecture btw
cant order it as im in the uk tbh 60 percent chance i might just find out the make of the chair im using atm its a bit rough armrest wise and handles wise got it from a charity store for £5 but its comfy and overall i can sit in this all day with no issues
I just realised I think this is a ikea chair I got it for 5 pound at a charity store
Just get a ikea pne then if you like it
Don't ask why the levers are like that it was like it when I got it from the charity furniture store
I went in there looking for bookcases small ones and found that chair, my last one broke
I just got this chair second hand. Its a håg. Witch is a ergonomical chair brand here in norway. Its all norwegian made. It was 200£ second hand, witch was a steal. Since theyre like 4400€ new
Gjessing the last ovner had a dog
Your kitchen looks nice
Hahah thanks
Thats been my thoughts aswell, or maybe the last owner took gamer rage out on his chair
Blowtorched it for losing
When you get so angry you just gotta lay on the fluor and cheew on your chairs haudralyc handle
Upgrade your workspace with our quality In-Stock Office Chairs. Shop now for comfort and style, perfect for any office environment.
Here. Same brand i got but avalible in the uk
Most of these ergonomic chairs stay away from lether though. Just lerher acents
Artisan key83 soft or zero soft for overall better pad, i play all type of games.
There is literally an audio tech chat.🤦
Anyone got any value elctrical height adjustment desk recomendations? I found one that looks deacent for like 300€
Books
Now for the serious answears?
they all do pretty much the same thing and support plenty of weight.
its just the aesthetics that are actually different and what type of desk they sell with it.
i would personally buy the legs and the table seperately. that way you dont get cheap mashed wood or plastic, but you can actually get a solid wood table and oil or paint it yourself whilst saving money and making it more personal and to your liking.
if thats too much effort you have the option to buy in whole, but its really not that difficult, just gotta wait 1-3 days for paint/oil to dry depending on how many layers you do
desks are one of the easiest furniture to build yourself and also often where you save a lot of money whilst gaining more quality.
especially when you already got the legs and would otherwise buy the table overpriced from the leg seller
The lifting legs alone cost as much as some of the complete tables
Bro i went to trade school for furniture carpentry before. Ive made every posible furniture you can think off. But dont have the time nor will to do that. I also live downtown in a major city in my country, i dont have the space to build it if i had the time to do so
If not id just make a stained oak table topp and be done with it
At this point im just gonna default to ikea beacuse its a trusted retailer with a deacent look
then pretty much 95% of it is just looks and pricing
and uncomplicated returns
The ikea black/walnutt MITTZON desk looks fine. Im just not a big fan of the legs
And ive found other alternatives for less, but the table top dosent look as good
I found one thats realy cheap and looks good. But it dubbles in price from the 1200x600 - 1400×700 size
The others are from random online retailers ive never heard off. And Im not surere i trust them. Even if trust pilot says theyre ok
if you want, especially since you have the skill, you can later on disguise the legs quite well or build extra shleves or a PC stand and stuff that is not hard to do and can look really dope /give extra storage space
so i would go for tabletop over legs
Also they have weird seams on the table top (probebly one fo the ways they keep prising doen
ikea will most likely have similar seams
At that point id rather buy good looking legs and find a surpluss counter top. But again. Its the work.
Nah these shits are real bad
Like chinese garbage bad
also you could get way more depth with a custom top
i got 2.20x1m
and i would never go with less than 90cm in my life again
depth
60 is more then enough. I dont have that much on my desk to begin with
when i see 1.60x70 i dont even know how you fit all your stuff up there
i have 2 monitors and i feel like my desk is too small to get a third, would be completely crowded, my water would be in the way of 1 of them and stuff
Monitor stand you clamp oktober the table
Onto*
Fuck monitor feet. They taket un nessairy space
I just need my keyboard an mouse on my desk
for my use monitor stands wouldnt change anything tbf, unless i put the monitor way up where its uncomfortable, my water bottle would still be in front of the monitor no matter if its on a stand or feet
but ppl use their setups way differently
(and even for me i a thrid would be overkill)
I like to lean back in my chair witch automaticly makes me look higher up
I also like to have my desk low. So im just lounging by my desk. I need to have my monitor deacently high up to keep my neck straight
Type shit
Not this extreme tho
love how we use it basically the exact opposite way xD
Mines ergonomic af
i have like the most healthy + nerdy 90° posture when sitting, i hate leaning back
and at night i turn my monitor 90° so i can fall asleep to videos or movies
Looking down isent good for your neck
(my bed is next to my desk atm)
my eyes are slightly above the monitors centre when sitting
yall know about any keyboards with n-key rollover? im tryna be able to hit more than 6 keys at once

Centered legends look like shit on cherry profile tho
Open to anything between a 65 and a tkl. A normal person layout 😂
And prebuikt preferred. But I won't say no to a good deal on a barebone
you can get a luminkey65
i think they got discount for blackfriuday as well
165 bucks for a prebuilt
or you can get the tkl
but for tkl if u want the pre built gonna be 239usd, 189 for the barebones but id say get the prebuilt its a better value
shipping is oddly cheap
10 bucks only
but that may differ for you i just used a random location from google as a reference
And i think if u sign up u can claim extra discount coupon for blackfriday as well

I want to buy a powerbank, not the magnetic one's for phones but for general usage. I don't need to power a laptop, only phones and some household devices. It can be 10.000 or 20.000 mAh if the price diference is not too much. I just want it to have quality so that it's not obsolete in a couple of months. Any advice? There is a lot of offers

Did anyone else who got an indoor hoodie get a women's Zipper (zipper on the left side of the jacket) I got my indoor hoodie sometime last year or so? IDK I enjoy it. 2ft wide keyboard
it's called a fullsize actually
that’s literally like 5-6 rows wider then a full size
there are infintely better options tbh
like
just getting a membrane from yo office
Does anyone know where the Mystic Light USB Controller is located at on the MSI motherboards? I want to remove it
I took my motherboard apart all of the heatsinks etc, but didn't see anything obvious
it's like one row wider lol
Too bad the keyboard itself is lowkey mid 🥹
no?
number 1 there’s literally 4 extra rows of keys
and number 2 the edges of the keyboard are literally like 2 rows thick
i wish it was topre 😭
It’s 3-3.5 wider
No it's basically exactly the width of full-size... Just looks weird because of the layout and lack of top row
Imagine the numpad is where the arrows and stuff are, then the right bit is the normal numpad
It’s 1u wider bc the main cluster is a 65, it’s 1u wider on the nav cluster, and the side bezels are 0.5-0.75u bigger than a normal full size

I’m trying to find a good gaming keyboard for under 70 USD / 100 CAD
should i get razer cobra or is there a better budget mouse
I finally got myself a mechanical keyboard
Snagged it off Marketplace for an awesome deal
Anyone think a company will release a monitor like this but instead of the second mode being 1080p it'll be 1440p?
Would love to play triple a games in 4K and FPS games at 360hz in 1440p
You can't split 4k into 1440p evenly (without dividing pixels into fractions) so I'd guess no
very nice
The only issue is that the WASD keys occasionally won't register. So I'll prolly switch out the switches for the red switches while I'm replacing those

I’m trying to find a good gaming keyboard for under 70 USD / 100 CAD
my 4~ ish year old razer blackwidow passed away today 💔
I'll probably get a gmmk2 full size tmr tho 🙏
Anyone has any recommendations on a UGREEN hub/dock that I can connect all my peripherals to (webcam, keyboard, mouse, speakers, wireless dongle, mic) and I can connect said hub/dock into my desktop PC via USB/USB-C and then if I want to I can disconnect it and connect it to my macbook and it switch everything over.. there is some really expensive docks/hubs but also some cheap ones I am not sure which is a good option?
Okay, update:
I found sum red switches from an old 3D-printed fidget toy I bought last year. And when I went to supposedly replace the defective switches on my keyboard, it turns out that the switches are not hot-swappable. So I'll prolly have to go to a repair shop to switch out the switches from the arrow keys in place of the red ones, then have the existing blue switches that were formerly for the arrow keys replacing the defective WASD ones
that’s probably more expensive then buying a new keyboard
madlions is incredible my dude
Madlions?
their price is so low because it's a clone and they get made at cost. You can find them cheaper on the official website though
thats the keyboard you posted lol
Can you remove the keycaps?
Which model is it??
Nano 68 pro I think? It's not on sale anymore but here is the official site
I have a lot of keyboards that cost way too much, somehow this is my favourite
Where are you from
Canada 🙂
Samee
there's some import but it's small
LTT is sleeping on these tbh, maybe they don't want the legal trouble from clone keyboards
Which switches did you get
can't remember, got it last year but they are pink coloured if that helps
they have different spring strength and sound a little different
Hmmm
keycaps are for aesthetics
1 sec ill get you a diagram
Yeah idk which one to get but I’d love a white keyboard
I’m not a nerd so I don’t know what noticeable difference those would make lol
I’m tryna type fast but also play well
3.8mm travel is better then, maybe the peridot or silver esports
I’ve only got these
Why is this?
Rip lol, sold out T.T
I remember being at a friend’s place and it was really hard to type on his keyboard
its easy to make mistakes with very sensitive keys
The keyboard felt weird idk
out of the ones available I think those are the most 'conventional' feeling
ah I had one of those, these will be linear so no clicky typing
foreveerrr, like weeks
this was a couple years ago I dunno, amazon will be faster for sure
I’m deciding between IEMs and headphones
IEMs seem better for esports gaming because you can hear footsteps better
they are yea, depends if you're cool with plugging your ears for hours at a time
whats ur budget?
Christmas 💀
lol! fair enough
70 cad headphones are not very good, I'd go with iems
I used to have 200 CAD ones but they’re gone
Headphones
Are IEMs uncomfortable to wear for hours?
they were comfortable at first, over time I ended up selling them as my ears started to hurt
How does that work
if you use big ones they start to mess with your ear canal, the cheaper stuff is a lot more comfortable
smaller
check out the simgot ew200 on amazon (the microphone sucks skip that)
I was planning to get a standalone microphone anyway
this is the way
I feel like as someone who has had a lot of tinnitus problems, headphones are the way to go
yea definitely, tough on a budget though
HyperX Cloud II Wireless seems pretty good
50% off
Lemme see
Where
amazon canada
the cloud 3 S is way better sounding
I’d prefer wireless ones

on sale as well
meh
Not a fan? I havent tried them myself, but this review is uncharacterically good. This guy never hypes headphones
Wireless gaming headsets used to be a joke when it came to sound quality... but that’s no longer true. Join Resolve as he digs into why modern wireless headsets like the HyperX Cloud III Wireless S, Audeze Maxwell, and Sennheiser HDB 630 can genuinely compete with—and often outperform—wired audiophile closed-back headphones.

if they were a bit cheaper
I hate money
and design, and aesthetic, and good product.
what do you like?
thats my wifes photo lmfao
lol, I don't have a proper pic of the whole kit
just a mail day pic
Update 2:
I ultimately decided to return the keyboard to the seller in place of a better offer (white RedDragon Kumara K552). Thankfully, the seller was really chill and agreed to meet with me on Friday for the return and refund
Here's my update up above. You got a point there mate
Does anyone have recommendations for a +-4 port USB hub with a single PD3 USB C port? Not passthrough, just for my desktop with an external power adapter

if i pooled what I spent on keyboards onto PC parts, i'd have a very very very nice PC rn
My first time working on a mechanical keyboard :D
Aaaand the red switch don't fit 🥲
Oh well. I'm just replacing the apostrophe switch anyway (Thank you for your sacrifice Pause key switch)
you could probably put the red switch in if you cut the plastic legs off
that’s a normal 3 pin socket
I wonder if someday they will do a budget keyboard showing on the channel. They have come a long way and pretty sure with availability to mod them you can really increase the quality
yeah unfortunately not all switches are the same 😫
I own a frw
Thats one thing i have to change on my keeb, a nice keycap set
And a nicer cable
Maybe something like this
“Something nice” and you posted this
Ay, its just clean
Also something nice is subjective

I mean if it does the job
Personally a no for me, much nicer aifei sets for the same price
Ngl i never bought a keycap set, dont really know where to look
does a gaming mouse have an expected lifespan, and what is it?
anyone know the best gaming monitor thats 1440p over 280 hz and preferably tandem oled
Depends if you take care of them
If you frequently spill liquids on stuff, a lot of dirt, have a matte glass pad, smash things pretty sure it won't last long
If you do expect like 10 year lifespan without a battery and 5 year lifespan with a battery
No, it's the contact points on the switches that are too small for the holes on the PCB
from me lol
ugly keycaps
nah I meant my pic
low bar
+1
I'll find Otemu switches for it then 🙃
what kind of switch are you looking for
3-pin or plate mount is the term you need to look for, there's plenty outside of outemu as well
2 pin. And the contact points on the keyboard PCB are smol
there's no such thing as 2 pin
3 pin has the stem + 2 metal pins
arent they all small
Ouh
I mean, that specific RedDragon keyboard has a smaller contact point size
Cuz when I tried the red switches, it wouldn't go all the way in
ok
that keyboard uses some bastardized version of millmax
I have workedon something similar
the only thing that would work are big OEM brands like cherry, oetemu and gateron
anything specific like HMX, BSUN etc it would just bit a smidge too big
I'm also fairly certain that most WS works on it as well
Ye, I looked it up
@void geyser any intersting stuff in this channel
i was so csick barely check discord
nah not really
I posted my freya tho
hope you're feeling better tho @worldly garden
you missed the warped DCS INtro WOB drama

so fucking funny
he never got agar
I now own and worked on a mechanical keyboard for the first time :D
congrats
dont be like me and @void geyser
e?
you're not as bad as me
but I think i'm done with keyboards
i’m waiting on it
show me the est delivery day
This guy
Hi there, is it worth getting the "Acer Nitro XV270U F3"?
it's on a very nice sale right now
I'm from Israel, playing competitive
Got some cheese v2 in the parabolica60
Hi, my options are:
- Q27G42ZE
- MSI MAG 274QF X24
- Acer Nitro XV270U F3
- Legion 27-10 (68C5GAC4IS)
- 27Q-10 (68C6GAC4IS)
which one should I pick?
Is there anything else I should check out? my budget is 400$ and I'm from Israel
Playing comp
it's actually closer to v1 that I thought
Are there any ways to fix deadline pixels? I threw away the palkaging to so returning it is difficult
U better be
But not endgame with a wuque slop
why
idk
people seem to say that it's so bad quality etx
I just think they require abit more finesse to build'
I think they're pretty cool
also this
some QC issue
i have no idea what’s wrong with their switches expect when you behave poorly to the pins and resocket them multiple times improperly
fair
basically it's an enthusiast board that enthusiast doesn't like
specially on the western market
why
oh yeah, i had a few pingy morandis
some batches are alright
2% of them what i’d say audible if i’m not looking for it, 3% audible if i’m looking for the spring ping
butwith metal insert and somehow more expensive
besides that
I quite like WS stuff
but I feel they rush alot of stuff
this is one of the worst fails i’ve seen ngl
yeah inaccurate colours vs actual product
but then again it was a budget board for its time
keycaps as well and the snoflake
100 GBP groupbuy
that’s still bad
that's a screen
oh
joking that's a badge
pranked
but yeah
I'm not a big fan of their mamoth75 either
another rushed project
i’ve just bought their switches and was happy with them
not their boards tho
yeah I recommend their switches
they're quite good
I'm happy with the freya
that's all i'm going to say
that’s what matters, if you think it’s good in it’s niche when you had a lot of decent-high quality keyboards then it’s probably is solid
it's definitely not worth it's price though I won't lie
i mean… is a $500 keyboard made from brass or something more expensive at higher price worth it as well?
people that wear closed back headphones probably won’t notice if it’s a cheaper metal like aluminum or brass
it's not about the material or anything, I just think for the acoustics that it gives out / in general, there's other boards that kinda does better
example cycle 8/ 7 boards
I like it more for the fact that it's its own thing if that makes sense
there's a shit ton of TKL, 60, 65 and more out there
but nothing quite like a 68% with XT Collumn, it's unique
most people prob just care about the stabilizers and smoothness of the keys so they’re not choppy
pareto
80% of the result comes from 20% of effort
you can make a 30$ board sounds good, however it's the 20% from 100% that's hard to achieve
meanwhile, enthusiast keyboards, it's going to have to be a really nice board, good ano, good plates, good PCB good accoustics
i just don’t like elitism in the kb communities in general… you ask for a $30 kb, they rec $100, when you ask about something they don’t like they’re like sure go on buy the slop
yeah I understand, and I'm on the same camp
I hate it as well, since you're essentially making it more daunting than it needs to be
one can be happy with 30$ board, for a long time, I was that
I had a an ajazz ak873
bought switches, bought keycaps
swapped it around
had a good time
then I started to replace my board, I wanted to try ergo alice like layout, realized I don't like my keycap profile, started getting SA, started getting more caps, more switches, got bored of the Alice ergo like, bought an actual alice, realized that the alice I've gotten is quite limiting, got another alice
so on and so forth
my happiest time was probably when i put pe foam inside gmmk2 + and it turned out to be better than expected… until one of the sockets broke because glorious had to use some really lame sockets
I think people need to experience what budget stuff feels like so that they can appreciate the higher more
mine was being happy that stock keyboards are finally no longer crap
you can get a quite capable and decent board for 30$
for the longest time, you weren't able to
nah they're crap
yes
basically a more well presented chinese board
the stabilizers were rattly, reverbs like a cathedral hall, weren't hotswap
ajazz was solid y
don’t know that
my first proper custom was a gigabyte osmium back in 2013
well, my first proper kb was i think a bloody keyboard
like genuinely good
So expensive though
then i got like cheap clones in 2016
then more and more
but I stuck back to that board
and stayed with it for a long time until like 2022 when I found it abit too big for my setup
so got a magic force 68
modded the shit out of it
then got an rk67
hollow, really cheap keycaps
like that was the stuff people bought back then
yep
because that's the only thing around
but after covid, it really expldoed
though I still think some switches are irrelevant now adays
like all zeal switche
“red” switches
people used that instead for referring a linear switch
you don’t want a generic red switch now
well, maybe if you get them for like 2 cents a switch or free
in your region
holy pandas and all the clones
from different western brands
ironically the chinese clones aren’t all that bad still
because they cheap
but yeah… not good nor value most likely
"holy panda" is just normal tactile today
okay so I want a new keyboard;
Mainly used for gaming;
Has to have the numberpad/some form of backlighting
can be wired/wireless
Available for an australian, under 120 AUD
and has to be mechanical/sound nice.
(would prefer it to be hot swappable too)
I have a very vague idea of what to look for, and I'd much prefer if it was a prebuilt keyboard
If I could have some pointers in the right direction, or some links, I'd be very appreciative!!
switchkeys carries some cheaper stuff
i think they ship from victoria
SwitchKeys is proud to be representing the Yunzii brand in Australia. These exceptional value mechanical keyboards introduce a raft of functionality at a great price! Includes keycaps, as well as Yunzii Milk switches. Specifications: Product: YUNZII YZ98 Type: Vintage Mechanical Keyboard Layout: 98% Layout, 99-Key RGB:
it looks nice (and probably sounds good too)
a little bit pricy though 😔
hmmmmm i might get a good deal on a GMMK2.
looking at it for 52~ usd rn
(about 80 aud)
okay got it 👍
it’s sad not everyone is schizo passionate about keyboards
😭
I’d add some foam, some tape and maybe lube the stabs and snip them (as well as switching switches)
But that’s probably the max I wanna do
I don’t wanna build it from scratch
I don’t wanna lube every single switch lmao
u should get a vintage topre
no idea what that is
vintage = old keyboard
topre = keyboard with switches manufactured by topre
Okay well I got that part
They good?
some people like me swear by them and have formed a cult around them
some others think they’re overrated
they are pretty expensive and hard to buy depending on the board

i was being mostly ironic when i told u to buy a vintage topre is the moral of the story
I figured
it’s a fun rabbit hole if you want to go down it
Keyboards are kinda interesting
I just don’t know if I care that much about them to spend that much
But messing around with them is fun
Luckily my new ones pretty modular by the looks sooo, nothing stopping me from doing more down the track
modern mech is pretty customisable
just don't bother
buy something that works for you and look at other things
hobby is boring as hell nowadays
i'd second that.
unless disassembling and reassembling keyboards and switching stuff around to change them and have a different experience aevery few days or weeks fascinates you, most i'd do is buy a switch tester to know what you like and go from there
ewaste?
one man’s ewaste is another’s grail
like my stupid fucking ewaste nissho kb106de
god i hate that thing
i really should sell it
this is a quote reasonable price for one so maybe i should
hola gamers. between Pulsar X2H Mini and Razer Viper V3 Pro, which one should I go to? I mostly play FPS games
As someone who has never experienced a QD-OLED screen, sell me on an Alienware monitor.
I have a 4k 60 Hz monitor which is basically a TV
And what is the difference between different technology generations?
Can I get some help picking a good oled 360 or 240 hz 1440p monitor. I have been looking at some different once and now with black friday the prices seem a lot more reasonable. Any help is appreciated.
Rn I have a 1080p 280hz monitor and I think its time for a upgrade
sugma
yeah you ain't selling for that.

any good IPTV boxes
Hello, I need some help checking whether a mouse software is safe or not.
I’m using a VortexSeries ONI R1 mouse, and the official website (vortexseries.net) provides an .exe software for configuration. However, when I scanned it on VirusTotal, it showed some suspicious behavior (dropper-like flags, anti-debug, unusual section structure, etc.). The file is also unsigned and looks a bit strange for a simple mouse utility.
Has anyone used this mouse or analyzed the software before?
Is this application actually safe to run, or should I avoid it?
Any input or analysis would be greatly appreciated.
Hey can anyone help me with this? I'm looking for a low profile mechanical keyboard for less than £30 with a British layout, with ideally brown switches. I've looked everywhere for one and couldn't find any so I'm just asking incase anyone does know one, thanks!
you won't find an LP mechanical keyboard with ISO for under that price
LP is already niche,
