akko cs jelly black, most recent linears look very similar to each other... linear.
apex 3 membrane
just get some ktt matchas and call it a day
theyre pretty light tactile from what ive heard
so like completely different
better then mx browns no bump
if its anything like my pears, barely
mx browns just don’t have a bump at all
well maybe i dont give enough slander to the thorn bump switches
when typing on them you do not notice a thing
early bump makes it way better
early bump is much better imo
especially for a light tactile
you can actually feel it lmao
early big bump is better
nah
its truth because i said so
early light bump better
big bump but light bottom out
you use a £3 membrane because i said so
doesn’t make it true
small bump light bottom out better
like 45g bottom out
and sub 1mm bump
@young spoke mx brown does indeed have a bump
third image
i just don’t think mx browns are the smoothest switch stock, they tend to be scratchy which you can see a bit the curve is bit jagged
its a bump but not enough to be satisfying
And I feel like I still make typos at a similar rate to linear on it
i think the bump itself is sufficient it’s just down the travel rather than at the beginning which most tactile switch manufacturers do
imo
Good thing i went with outemus then. Those have it quite high up if anyone requires that
Its at least in the top third of the travel distance.
the “bump” is just linear scratchiness
they unironically just feel like unlubed linears
cherry was never smooth at all lol
Lol
got some normalized recordings
what wpm is this at
yall are steel series apex 9 mini good? found 1 for like 95 bucks
there’s better for that price
if you need an analog keyboard idk much about those
but mechanical wise there’s absolutely better
what is an analog keyboard may i ask?
one that uses optical/hall effect switches to input an analog input
a regular membrane/mechanical switch will just do a 1/0 input on or off
a hall effect/optical in this case will have a range of inputs
meaning you can have faster actuation points being able to overwrite inputs cleanly etc
ooo
TLDR unless your a top 1% cs2/val player you don’t really need it
whats keyboards u recommend i dont rlly got a budget
a mechanical keyboard will have much more utility
also being able to get basically any switch under the sun is nice
for 90 i’d say a rainy75 maybe
for a 60% layout i have no clue
nah dw abt a 90 buck budget i got like a 300 budget
i haven’t bought a 60% in 3 years
i like 75%
I am in a new job that copy, paste, paste format only, paste formula only are used a ton and was thinking a macro keypad would work well. What are your thoughts and which ones would work on a computer that can't have software installed
75 or 95 id like having a numpad
i’d get a mmo mouse
one with like 12 buttons on the side
you can bind them to literally any shortcut
Didn't think of that
i have all 12 of mine binded to (in order) ctrl+c ctrl+v back forward ctrl+r ctrl+f ctrl+d ctrl+a FN(this one is dodgy only works in certain scenarios wouldn’t recommend) win+d(shut up) alt+tab and finally esc
i also have my button just to the left of my left mouse button to print screen
whats ur thoughts on a logitech g915 tkl
please refer to the chart
- budget
- layout (eg 75% TKL 65% etc)
- switch preference (clicky tactile or linear)
- further switch preference (silent or really light or really heavy etc)
- general aesthetic preference (do you want a white build a black build or even a fluorescent pink design)
buy a topre keyboard and live on with your life
and then some others like if you want a low profile board if you want the case to be aluminium or what you want the keyboard to sound like
most importantly never listen to this guy
you are scared of spending more than 50 dollars on a keyboard
i would much rather spend 150ish on a topre keyboard and have it outlive me than buy a budget mechanical board
ohh are they 60
he has a 300 dollar budget
75
he can afford a topre keyboard
Job Done
- you have never tried one for an actual period of time
2 are 53 dollars and the other is 103
no
Ohh Christ
3 dollars over
this is crazy
bro is rich
3 whole coconuts
3 whole clams
first it was “you’ve never tried one” now it’s “you’ve never tried one for long”
i assumed u never tried one
it was £75
no i said i have tried one
Dude who’s buying a boards loss
just sell the gmk67 dog
i am gonna dispose of it
into my house
like 250 75% linears silent light and black for color
honestly youre better off getting keyboard advice somewhere else given this channel history
i think all the people that know anything got scared away
you could try building a custom keyboard, and then you have more switch options
for switches you might like this https://milktooth.com/products/light-sakura
for keyboards i honestly dont know about 75% except for the low budget $100 sector
neo75 cu is good if you have money
neither
homoo sea salt silents are nice though
i have a sample of the haimu sea salt but they were too ticky for me, and i dont like short spring linears
other than that i dont think i even have any silent linears myself
better thrown all of those stabs away, lol
yes man
this guy will opt for budget bullshit option 99% of the time, mostly because he thought that was their budget
they cringed away, LOL
just need to tune the keychrin ones I imagine
he foamed the shit out of the neo, the only good board he have
iirc
I guess that's how the poron crumbles
i just measured the force of this switch i have
it’s a homoo sea salt silent that i made as scratchy as possible
and it has a bigger “bump” then an mx brown
literal proof that mx browns aren’t tactile
My slope board has arrived
why did u make it scratchy
for what purpose
funny
unemployed behavior
i feel like if you got your hands on a topre board you’d try to tape mod it
proves my point
would it or would it not sound better
touch grass
That's impossible
anything that is not 100% ordinary and aligns with every single norm seems to be either impossible or crazy to you
love it when ltt keyboardist argues
the sound is mediocre for an alu board, enter key especially, typing feels bit hard because i'm used to flex boards, web software looks to only work with chromium based browsers, not ff or fffs, as for HE it indeed is HE what can i say
stabilized keys don't rattle or tick
switches are smooth
80
lolz
yeah... shipping
you probably don't want to see what retailers charge
msrp is 50
kinda funny to see mechkeys possibly charging a 70-120% margin :d
They are
they aren’t
they’re just scratchy linears
an unlubed linear literally has a bigger bump
I had cherry mx browns and they certainly are tactile and scratchy
not just scratchy linears
There are rtings graphs that tell otherwise
I have not seen any linear that came even close to a mx brown with scratchiness
Do you have any way to prove this
Does your switch get stuck mid way when you press it from a side
no
it unironically has a bump
that isn’t the silent version
or it’s just not true
those things are scratchy as hell
ok it’s just not true
there’s a small but noticeable scratch near the middle of travel
Send me a pic of your switch stem (disassembled)
i don’t think i have a picture?
.
or at an angle
this is all i have
no
putting a 60g (from the akko v3 cream blue pro) makes the scratch bump more noticeable
100% linear
Delubing your switches does this
it has a bump idk what to tell you
Not this
That's your switch getting stuck by friction
When you press it at an angle
it isn’t
it goes down fine at all angles etc
it’s just very scratchy
@dark lark You had the 10 Pro right?
youre arguing with a glarses fan 🧌
i wonder if youd find a different force curve on really bad linears by actuating at an angle though, like you can sorta feel
even my sonjas are less tactile than brown though
i have like 100 kind of switches lol
are you misinterpreting scratch as a tactile bump? they are not the same thing...
i’m not pushing down at an angle bruh
it gets worse when you push at an angle
no
it feels the same at an angle
mx browns also feel the same at an angle
they are literally just bad linears dog
they are tactile
I was talking about binding on linears in general. Maybe the wobble effect isn't as bad on whatever you're saying. But I was just adding extra info
disagree
maybe if you slowly press it down lightly
but honestly when typing they just feel like bad linears
they feels likelinear doesnt mean they are one
it does
like you give me an unlubed linear and an mx brown i couldn’t tell you which one is which
I've looked at buyee mercari several times and there's never hhkbs for a normal price
there's a few for like $3000+
oh today there's ones
mechmarket
Sup, I need a recommendation for gaming headphones.
Prefer wireless but doesn't have to, I prefer popout mic.
My budget is 120$ / 400 NIS (Israel but can order from Amazon)
Mostly for competitive gaming and music 👍🏻
Right now I got the razer kraken pro v2, they were great but starting to die
#audio-tech us in peripherals are fucking idiots
I will ask there, thx
its expensive too
@fervent breach how much should i expect to pay in total on buyee for something like this https://buyee.jp/mercari/item/m76756085927
although i found a recent entry on ebay for $125 shipped in similar condition, and one for $135 on mechmarket
so im kinda considering it
what is it
pd-kb400b
hold on
i looked for white ones and they all are extortion listings for like $1500 and i dont really care about the color anyways
similar one on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/306404578450
this is pretty good
the question is whether all fees and shipping on buyee are less than $35
idk where ur looking
for me it always has but i ofcourse live in the uk
if i search mercari buyee for pd-kb400w
so instead i just searched for pd-kb400 and all the reasonable ones are the black version
which is fine, i dont really care about the color
search hhkb
i did that too
i cant remember, was there a reason you wanted a pro 1 over pro 2
they’re better keyboards
you won’t get one without spending a lot of time or money though
what exactly is better
for example someone paid 350 usd today for a white high serial one
domes, port placement, collection value
other than that it’s the same board
but i have no reason to collect pro 2s
as there’s literally tens of thousands
idk how to even get to a page on buyee where it tells me how much it costs with fees and everything
nevermind the buyee website is just incredibly buggy
it's going to be cheaper to just buy that $125 one from ebay
kventinky the budget enthusiast
whats a good headphone bt with bass and music (budget - 100$)
anyone familiar with the EWEADN-Battle68? im planning on buying it
My £18 xbox controller is seemingly killing itself with all the gunk and drift and stuff and I was wondering if any of you guys had any recommendations for a new controller thatd work for my pc and phone really nicely?
is the logitech g502 and g pro kb a good combo wich i should switch
Bro
Well what should i get then
the g pro board is £70 from what i can see
look on aliexpress for an ak820 pro that’s definitely better
ak820 pro off ali
No
Alibaba is suspicious
I have a g502 from 2016 and a $270 keyboard build so that tells what my priority would be
Looking for a new Keyboard and Mouse set up. Max 450$ CAD combined
how much is it there
buy a realforce or hhkb
ur welcome
ignore that guy
when did you end up trying topre for a bit
I decided not to buy
YEAH
EXACTLY
SO DONT
SAY
TO IGNORE ME
MY RECOMMENDATION IS GOD TIER
TRUST ME MAN
realforce looks nice and is nice, but is pretty expensive where I live
Keychron, Epomaker, Ducky, Leopold, Varmilo has some good ones
For Hall effect keyboards, Wooting, Keychron, Epomaker, Endgame Gear, Logitech, Corsair to name a few
For mice, you could try looking at ones from Logitech, Zowie, Vaxee, Pulsar, Glorious, Razer to see which one fits your preferred grip style and weight
yeah it’s cause they’re expensive boards
I think it's a bit cheaper in Japan
the company is in Japan after all
its not
Does anyone have a rec, for a good mic in the $150 or less range? I'm just using it for Dungeons and Dragons over Discord. I'm just looking to invest in a better setup in general.
Durability > Quality > Aesthetic
Discord is pretty good at blocking out unwanted background noise, so a cheap $30 USB condenser microphone with a boom arm and shock mount will probably be enough, but for better recording quality (or stuff like in-game voice chat), you can look into getting a XLR microphone setup
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=shure+sm57
https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UM2usb--behringer-u-phoria-um2-usb-audio-interface
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6BWJYSY
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=xlr+cable
Thanks for the rec.
I'll def, think about the two options and see if it's gonna be worth it to spend the extra $ for the XLR setup
Is this logo from skypad also used at some point? I have seen more often the other one.
Also how should the surface feel?
nos m600 gaming mouse what are yalls opinnion
idek what that is
looks like a really expensive mouse pad
last person i knew here given actual "advice" was banned for ragebait
thocctober?
thocky keybopard
anyway
ugly nov but
Glass mousepad. Trying to figure out if it's a genuine one or noy
when sell
also anyone know where i can get a replacement of this switch
sure
im buying a cool keyboard anyway
i welcome u guys to drop by and grab a coffee
and check out that
this was the alt logo option they offered
guys, PLEASE, i have a question
this has made me lose my mind for the past 5 months
I got a Razer Basilisk Ultimate
and in the latest months, the scroll wheel has started to really suck
scroll wheel skips and double detections
like i scroll by 1 step and it's scrolls by 2 steps
sometimes it even scrolls the other way
the only way i managed to kind of fix it was by setting the resistance to the max
and then my friend (who has a Lancehead Wireless) told me his scroll wheel has started to act weirdly too
Thank you. Think $40 cad is a fair price? Do you have any experience with this brand?
for 3.0 yeah
they rebranded to wallhack recently
heard 4.0 is really good but I don't have any experience with it
Suppose I might as well try it out. Never had a glass pad.
I'm debating over beast x mini pro worth the 2x price of a scryrox v8?
idk probably not
Hello everyone, just got here.
I'd like to look for a(n optimally wireless) keyboard with (next to) no sound, 100/95%, RGB is optional (but more preferred) and optimally black/dark. I'm not sure if I could do this under 60 (max. 100) USD/EUR.
I would appreciate either keyboards or sites worth checking out. European (Hungary) shipment is mandatory.
Thank you in advance!
you didn't show the switch at all or describe it so good luck
that is the switch
all that shows is it has a white milky bottom housing
the little grey box
it’s a switch like this
good lukc replacing it
you need hot air or maybe can do it with a soldering iron if you're lucky
i’m gonna solder it on
That would be advisable
The Rode Podmic is what I use. Pretty great for 100usd. It would need an audio interface though if you don’t have one, so that might hit above your budget depending on the one you got.
https://www.amazon.com/Rode-PODMIC-Dynamic-Podcasting-Microphone/dp/B07MSCRCVK
The PodMic is a broadcast-quality dynamic microphone optimized for podcasting. It has a rich, balanced sound, with an internal pop filter to minimize plosives and internal shock mounting to reduce vibration. The PodMic is optimized for use with the RODECaster Pro Podcast Production Studio, but wi...
I was researching that, but the issue is I'm from Linus land. I've been having trouble finding any of the major players here without it being double the price.
It does look like the Rode would be perfect though
Nothing on marketplace unfortunately
Even the Blue Yeti is like $120 at Best Buy here lol
Oh man
That’s tough man. The disparity in price always shocks me throughout NA. Post tariff apocalypse it’s even worse.
Yeah. It's always been bad. Low variety and higher cost.
But it's so shitty right now. I'll keep hunting though. It is what it is.
Thanks for putting it on the radar though. Maybe someone will sell on FB haha.
Hopefully. I actually used to use some Hyper X stuff that was pretty quality. It was USB so no audio interface needed, and on the cheaper side, but I have no clue what pricing would be in CAD. Also was a bit more on the gamer-y side of things aesthetically, so idk if you care about that. Can’t remember the specific model though.
Hi guys so, I need to know if I would be making a mistake by cancelling my order of the endgame gear op1w 4k and instead getting the zowie u2. I use a relaxed claw grip so I believe both should be good (and I have small hands) . Like i love how EGG does stuff but I worry the ttc silver scroll wheel will fail and i depend on the scroll wheel whilst gaming and not too.
well they have different shape
True
My current mad r is kinda between either so I am supposing it should be fine
I think I'd prefer the shape of the u2 though
palm grip though
the egg one looks more like claw grip
Yeah from what I could tell I have a relaxed/normal claw grip
And the u2 and op1 seem to cater to my style. Tho my concern is with the scroll wheel
Like the xm1 is kinda filled with reports of its scroll wheel jumping. Same with the op1 8k, haven't seen much with the op1w but considering it uses the ttc silver (which I have used before and had issues with)
zowie/vaxee scroll wheels are quite defined yeah
Yeah and zowie uses the optical stuff. Plus with the u2 considering they were to a 24 notch one it all looks gravy
It the only issue I see is. The u2 uses kailh whites for side buttons which are kinda hard to get (they are not full sized switches)
But ofcourse the op1w uses those failure prone scrolls from ttc
But in other ways including tech op1 is the better choice. Hence why the predicament.
they lowered the price of that hhkb i saw on ebay to $120
Yeah they had something insane happen with the keebs
what
like just in general youre saying?
which is ?
theremingoat LOL
(or return)
Topre doesn’t lose value as easily as cheapshit flavour of the month
I might
why do you laugh
^
i don’t care about it losing value bruh
i just want a keyboard that works and feels good
is that so hard of an ask
if you ask topre cultists, yes it is
Nobody was talking to you buddy
no one’s talking to you?
no i have 4
? Did I hallucinate your reply to my message that wasn’t directed towards you?

and is it more of a collectors thing or is there like a blind spot you want covered that your other boards cant do?
yes
all 4 are necessary
one is a 60%
one is a 65% wit silent switches and is bluetooth
one is a 75%
the 60% is for modding
the 75% is just a good board
and i have another 60% i need to solder new switches onto
and what shall the new board do that the others cant?
especially since you are considering a similar size
↑
interpreted it that way 😄
no
no u want a cheap keyboard
price doesnt mater
they work, yes but good...i have doubts
woah thats new from my dude
i have this
usually went for 850
now i will sell them for 400
@young spoke
fits all ur hell of a need because they are bigger layout than all ur keyboard
nah im good
thats a negative
if u specific need that keyboard i will sell it for 450
nah im good
cheap matters, mister vauxhall
no it doesnt
none of my keyboards are even especially cheap
to me cheap is like sub 30
anything above that is high end imo
maybe a mid range car but not a mid range keyboard
maybe a bit lower
"mid maintenance cost"
lol
keyboard enthusiasts when you dont want to spend 1000 on a keyboard
you genuinely sound like sim racers
keyboard enthusiast when u give actual advice, is a bit pricey and they got mad
kekw
what is your wisdom then
my widsom is sell all your shitbox and opt for one, single good keyboard
i mean it man
ok but what if i need another 2 keyboards for other things
all 3 of the keyboards i use have different purposes
one keyboard cant do all 3
list it again man
what
wdym list it again
i have a 60% for typing japanese characters
hence japanese keycaps
i have a 75% for general use at my desk
and a 65% with silent switches for work
so just do a 75% with silent switches and japanese sub legend keycaps ?
i thought u need 1 mx 1 alps 1 EC
lol
because
i have the 60% for that specifically
i also like the look of my aifei v3 keycaps
and i cant put silents in there because its too big to take to work
and it sounds good anyway why waste it with silent switches
all 3 costed over 60 pounds in total
no its like physically too big to fit in my bag
or desk
the 4 keyboards probably only cover like 10% of the spectrum because all "mainstream" keyboards are like identical for some reason
nah
I disagree as well (I have keyboards in the 2 digits number)
At least not in the custom keyboard sense, but to me in time mainstream board changes enough to have more than 10% of the spectrum in 4 board
Unless you buy 4 board a month
But in the end it's mainly dependent on what you choose to purchase tbh
also sometimes you just know that some parts of the spectrum are just not for you at all.
no need to even try and attempt for 100%
i want an alps board
although i know nothing about alps pretty much
so
i wish it was more common to see alternative switches
(anything not mx)
How bad are wireless keyboards?
very good
so better learn about it before being fomo'd by whales
in 2018, i was typing on my wireless keyboard when the battery overheated and blew my hand off
cannot recommend them after that..
JoeKay
alps clones is fine price but if u wanna look for non clone alps they will be expensive
thats all i know
is it something i can desolder and put it in another board
or is it like
oh epic
it literally vints yk
taihao alps my beloved
Vint alps
buy taihao
£5 a switch is Insane though
yeah i think i want to
wait @worldly garden surely not
can’t i just harvest a vintage alps board
it would be cool to put like
all the different alps colours on the top row
of a tkl
i dont know much about alps than you
so sure
u need an alps compatible pcb and u can put it in modern keyboard kit
very cool
seems to be less common than topre
Skcm green is the most sought after
It’s basically 55g bump but with solid bottom out and a lower weighting
interesting
I would just get skcm orange
Different enough from topre to be worth it
And it’s not that difficult to obtain
Alps linears are not that good
Unless you’re one of those soundbaters
dude i daily topre
i am not a soundtard
I did not imply you were one
Alrighty then
was it a royal kludge
Those are omrons
RK61 LOL
I am not entirely versed in the issues but, there was like a ton of software issues with it and like kinda shoddy spacebar.
Hey guys Uhm Im thinking abt buying a Akko m1 v5/ tmr which one would you suggest and which switch? please with an explanation
just got the new pulsar mouse in. its my first fingertip mouse but im loving it so far
oh come on man
half the mouse is missing
half the mouse twice the price
its an ultralight fingertip mouse design with 8k polling that was essentially designed by comittee as pulsar labs first product
its really stupid man
love to say it
lol not for everyone i guess
I like light mice but does that actually make a difference in how you use it day to day?
Nice setup though
idk im not really an ergonomics guy and i dont work with computers i just play on them and thats whgat its for
i would say pick up a fingertip design mouse at a store sometime and see if you like it
its only suitable for a specific type of grip so if you palm the mouse then of course it makes no sense\
another shot so you can better see the shape
Now that's a nice uhh
Crous?
Car?
Rat?
Ratrod
Yeah ratrod
lol yea that works i describe it as a bobbed mouse but im not sure if thats widely known term i only know it from the truck modifying world
Hey guys Uhm Im thinking abt buying a Akko m1 v5/ tmr which one would you suggest and which switch? please with an explanation
Do yall have any good gaming budget peripherals?
I don't mind if it's simple or not
Honestly, around 10-30 bucks for mouse n keyboard seperated
I don't need em to be overkill or anything, just something nice to work with
in that price i would go with something wired for the mouse you can find a lot of options there that will perform
unless you mean 30 each then just get a cheap logitech in a shape you like
and you can get a redragon keyboard in the 30 dollar range those are decent in my experience
@urban steppe
Okay, thanks a lot for the help
Will put those into consideration
they really pulled a porsche dang
pulsar911
he's referring to the gulf livery
looking to upgrade from deathadder essential any leads under 2000 inr
Do you stricly use it for gaming or do you also use it for general computer tasks aswell? It seems like it would get fairly uncomfortable after a few hours
Anybody know about the HEX80 and thoughts?
What’s fishy to me is that all the reviews say the exact same thing
Sort of like they’re following a paid script
Seems like they could only afford so many sponsors and maybe the big ones haven’t dropped yet
Is this where tables fall under aswell
Regardless I ordered one and it’s coming in a month
qk popular right now
if u have already ordered it there wont be no concern
what u gonna do if u find out that keyboard sucks ?
nothing, it is alr delivered
Qwertykeys has a good track record of making good affordable custom keyboards, no idea about how good is the software for hall effect stuff. What are you going to put in it?
i lubed
rate the lubed stabs
Sent the message before ordering
I think I’ll keep it stock, maybe switch out the keycaps
I’ll switch the HE switches if needed or new better ones come out
aw man that’s atrocious
yeah that’s the only thing i noticed
right side is a bit dodgy
i’ll line the housing with some milk lube
when sell gmk67
bro just completely blanked me
when you buy a topre keyboard
linear gang ?
i was not insulting
ktt matcha > any linear
i like matchas but i would not agree 😄
depends where, depends what, +to each their preferences
@rocky lance i use it for all tasks and i like it so far. i didnt think it would make much a difference but after extended gaming on it i went to use my logitech and just could not its one of those things where you dont know what youre missing out on til you try it
in other news i did the dumb thing and built the keyboard for all of you out there with more dollars than sense. i just need two more of the periodic table keycaps to show up and i need a heavy space bar switch cause 67g wasnt enough
i think this keyboard weighs as much as the cheap desk it sits on
what keyboard is this
its the keycaps that are stupid expensive its keychron q12 with awkeys allk metal keycaps
then i put durock silent shrimps in it and now i need to come up with a silent switch for the space bar in the 80-100g area
right now im looking at grabbing the gateron aliaz silent 80g switch if anyone has recommendations on the heaviest silent switches im all ears
Ah yes another channel 😁, you could get yourself some switch opener and a bag of 100g springs
hadnt crossed my mind but i knew that was a choice thanks i will maybe do that
lol just saw your an sffpc head
Small box gang
Large screen, small case 😁
very nice. i have a debilitating fixation with noctua colors so i had to stuff as many into a terra as is physically possible https://discord.com/channels/375436620578684930/1397740934766002257
@forest pebble
Ah ah yeah I see that you have a noctua obsession
If just have two nf A12 25mm on top on my t1
oh yea all those extra fans amount to nothing its purely an arts and crats project
I used to have an ID cooling is-50x v3 plus a chroma black A12 15mm but performance was not enough so I swapped for a thermal right axp90-53 full copper
i run it open air anyways b ecause i want to look at that motherboard all the time im very proud of my little nvme fan mod
bros a noctua salesman
Maybe look into xtia and other open air cases for next build 😁
ive had the geek rhino in my cart for a while. im planing on picking one up when noctuya drops the AIO
E
does anyone here use vertical mice
i would if they made ones with multiple side buttons
most i’ve seen is 3
i need like 6 minimum nowadays because of how useful 12 button mice are
what in the hell do you need that for
this
im thinking of buying the logi lift, ive been having very little but consistant pain in my wrist
its stupid but when i watch movies or yt on my pc i like to hold my mouse so i can switch video or open chats easier so having a mice that would mitigate that would be nice
and ive been playing more story games so i do think i wont notice the less accurate clicks tough i wont be throwing the one i am using now away
fair
for games like gta online having like 50 buttons on the side of your mouse is pretty useful
i think ill be fine if i kept my superlight but i would rather be too safe with health related things if that makes sense
i like being able to use the arrow keys on the side of my mouse instead of my keyboard for shit in game
im thinking of 3d printing a holder for the superlight
the one thing that i want from the razer mice a holder that also charges would be nice
a mouse won’t destroy your hands lmao
unless you use ir 18 hours a day
i know im not that glued behind my screen but i do have some hours on it a day
there's like a cheap chinese one that sells for like 20-30 with 5
It changed to Monday its over
make sure it’s not built like shit, which sensor model and mcu does it have?
is one needed?
a lot of them tend to be heavy and can diminish the gains for some people you get from the more natural angle of your hand
it's from china lol, it's probably goin be bad
i use one at the office
if it’s no name then avoid it like chewed gum on the ground
a logitech such and such
this thing bananas lol
Can i get some help with this? Will this keycaps set work on an ISO nordic Layout? It has the big enter button but i dont know.
Probably not, does it have options for extra sets for other languages?
you’ll need a specific set or have to mix and match caps with different legends
u should just get a different keyboard imo
no its just this one, i cant find a keycaps set with like jelly white keycaps that fits with ISO layout
this isn’t an issue with topre keyboards btw
Are these ones ceramic? Or are they just white plastic? And what's your budget?
you always get good keycaps
and also there is a lot of iso sets
And also if there’s a topre set it will fit your board
almost none compared to MX fr
there is a surprisingly large selection
plus we have dynacaps soon
What, do you think MX keycaps aren't universal
although they can get expensive
i see a lot of mx keyboards with unusual layouts you’ll never find keycaps for
like in early mx days with nonstandard bottom rows
early as in early custom
it's a completely meaningless suggestion
also it’s harder to find good mx keycaps imo
im not sure, looks like plastic. But its keycaps like this i want
the topre part was a joke
i think he should get a different keyboard if he wants to replace caps
my brain hurts
it says ABS
yea its like a layer around it
just stop
also this looks dogshit
no irony
no
what no
nuh hu
We will see what's so great about topre on Monday
hello keybaord enthusiats of ltt !
HOW was that related to topre
we’re talking about keycap material
you literally said to buy topre keycaps instead of finding an iso compatible keycap set
noe
no i didn’t 😭
and then blanket response to not buy abs which doesn't really make sense
most pbt keycaps on the cheaper end have abs mixed in and shine even faster than pure abs
I want to build my own keyboard but dont know where to start, or even if i should
it makes sense man
get good keycaps
good abs keycaps:
then don’t get cheap pbt 😭
they are the same as cheap abs for the most part
i have 2 sets of “good abs”
you can also not get cheap abs
Hence why i said what i just said
what did you do to them
Günter Meinhardt Kunststofftechn
Type on them
acid fingers
no
if you are not type on Günter Meinhardt Kunststofftechn dont talk to me situation
even supposedly good pbt sucks sometimes
is alright, lets start now
what is your budget ?
and what are your needs
good pbt is good
anything but cerakeys
in my honest opinion when it comes to cheap mx ewaste boards the keycaps are way more important than the keyboard
dude look if u buy a ewaste board will u care to buy proper keycaps ?
not at all
they all want it to look good
Yes
and their good definition is kinda odd iwould say
paiting tester 68 with gmk striker r1
good means pudding keycaps
yeah man next time keep shilling topre
<33
dude has 33 aortas
^
found a neo87 wk today, rare ass congif board but too expensive
hmm i dont really have a budget i dont know how much it usually cost for a custom keyboard but like $200-$300 maybe but if thats to low i can work it out
2-300 quid wwill wwork !
what do u want it to be
your desire layout, kind of switches, sounds, etc
will u prefer to build it ot buy a prebuilt, buy it new or used ?
hmm is there any prebuild that is easy to mod in the future?
dude i’d recommend you topre
but i am gonna get crucified by the ltt mx horde
99% chance they are not really gonna appreciate it
every prebuilt will have potential to mod in the future
dont burn in the process...
i will not try topre until im done experiencing mx man
yeah because topre sounds Horrendous until you actually buy one
brother will try topre at the age of 70
with 200000 mx keyboards
and be like
Fuck
nahh nahh
hell im not a whale
if i am then sho s60 on the way !
and i want it to be Ansi layout with either 65% or 75% keyboard
how long am.I gonna last before I decide I want to buy silencing rings
75% is like normie layout imo, but do u prefer it more than 65 %
get a leopold fc660c
Aughhh
stupid delivery got delayed because it was supposed to come today
get out of my head
buy me a seneca buddy
It is a professional 2
i will try topre as your wish
what date
201x ah date
Like 2015 I think
and is it modded
I forgot
it would be a loss of going to uni lmfao
It's stock
ok u chose quite well
my first topre was a 2015 pro 2 bur modded
buying ftermarket modded topre is hella...odd
for me it was a bit underwhelming because a stock case modded pro 2 is lowkey horrendous
Its either 2015 or 2017, I got confused which listing I picked
some wont meet your expectations
its the black model though which looks a little worse
yeah especially modded pro 2s
if i ever mod a pro 2 it’s to put it in a sho case
what do you think of agar EC or agar mini ec
show me
too skinny
i don’t like the design language
hmm i dont relly know i like em both but maybe 65, i think i like it more
130 ish $
yeah and about sound wised ?
charocal ftw
I think the white looks more iconic
u will buy aftermarket caps anyway
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wxaNqIBZME something like this, what they call "Thock"
As requested here is the thockiest version of the Lucky65v2, this time around it's more focused on switches! Definitely was fun to try out a whole bunch of switches to see which would help the Lucky65v2 thocc!
Switches (Shoutout Pantheon & K.Techs)

I should buy a micro b to USB c adapter so I don't have to use the dumb cable it comes with
lewis toh T-T
or like more creamy but NOT Clicky
gents should i give this guy a mode board
broke these hg really nicely with the break in machine. 300k presses really does feel nice. Also the blue is a really really nice shade.
Keyboard specifications:
Case: Eniigma Infinitum WKL TKL
Plate: alu plate
PCB: h87a
Switches: 300k presses broken inCherry Black Hyperglides lubed with carbon gs2, 107 on 63.5g sprit springs, and tx film.

how bout these mulla
is my ( and most people ) preferences right now
clacky they say
Linear or tactile switches?
thocky in big 25 hmm
there isnt any new noticing thocky switches now
bro needs to just buy my gem80
u were right give him a fucking topre LOL
dawg no advertising
specs ?
iff u try a neo87 u wwould wwish to buy that insstead off neo80
i like it but i want it more smooth, i dont what a big clicky sound but a samll one
iss literally f1 clone
Stock my gem80 sounds exactly like the video though
should’ve got an rf 87u
no
i am lowkey predicting you’ll hate the pro 2 at first
please don’t open it
if you want silenced topre do not open it because it’ll make it just Worse
how
if i were to recommend you a silenced topre board it’d be a silenced steel plate r1
idk
my unopened pro 2 sounds and feels 10000x nicer than my opened counterpart
same with my pro 1
they get better with age
did you open the opened one yourself, and did it sound fine before opening
controlled experiment
dude is tripping
no it was before i was enlightened lowkey
i bought it pre modded
Topre sounds even scratchier than MX tactile which is wild
i’m really not
i have heard a lot of people say that
matrix corsa build with vertex v1
lots of trippers huh
to be fair i think the main issue you get when you open a hhkb is the stabs just sound/feel shittier
i would open a pro 1 to lube the stabs
but i feel like you gotta lube the stabs or it’ll just make it a worse bosrd
nothing
Yeah he’s right the sound completely goes away
It speaks only in silence
well then I have to find out for myself
nothing changes
i would say if you wsnt to experiment
the variables all stay the same when you reassemble it
use it stock for a week while u wait for silencing rings and lube to arrive
Mr topre forgot a screw when reassembling
and then open it and mod it
What layout do u like the most @worldly garden ?
I have lube
stab lube?
oh no only 205
i annnot diamond lee but i think these suck
I don't have dielectric grease or whatever
that is fine
💎
i don’t like “compact” layouts like that much
what layout du u like?
