a fangirl ?
I know the 3423DW is a first gen QD-OLED but it looks so damn good
yeah then i found out their latency is 3.4ms compared to wooting's 0.4 at almost the same price
genuinely abysmal in comparison
3.4 in a he is a scam
fr
That shit's better than the Tommy Hilfiger
wired btw
yeah it survived the drop
and also lasted me a long time with 0 issues
only died when i slammed it against a brick wall
I miss my old Dell office keyboard and squareish monitor
That was my first gaming setup.
I got it for free from the church I went to at the time
the lemokey HE board isn't much better in terms of latency either btw
u have a keychron on ur desk
use that
that's what i'm replacing
that video is old
really old
i got the v1 in 2022
that was in my first week of owning it
it's old and crusty now with switches and keycaps failing
based but i like having mouse space
all he complained was a lost screw
she should buy something better then
yeah idk why mine just has really shit build quality
tight hotswap sockets and shit tier keycaps
tight hs = good pcb

yeah but they're so tight i cannot pull out half of the switches without them breaking or fallling apart
use the puller
khk and korn are overrated slop
and yes i'm doing it correctly
not ur hand
use them properly
I WAS
there are places to "attach" the puller in
this is the puller
i was not holding it like that
i'm just showing how it looks
where proper hi end
regardless tho, the switches are in there so tight i cannot pull them out without them breaking even tho i am doing it correctly
only geon ?
i'm not a complete moron
Wanna see my first gaming setup?
my first laptop was a vaio
and a sonic headphone
mid end really
SAME!
merisi
lamy, linworks shit, kustoms, kfe ce, etc
yeah not really mainstream
I don't really care about hype boards
i will buy a "the cheat" when i can afford it
call it a day
korn is just a $250 board being sold for lots more
support kalam
fuck no
kalam korn is alr at 250
š¤
kalam is a shitter
This shit is not coming out
i think the puller did not completly went in the switch
thats where u struggle
I tried making it go in
It does not go in
That is as far as it can go
And it just doesn't
@crisp patrol his pcb is begging for forgiveness
as i've said
the hotswap sockets are too tight
it is physically impossible to remove half of the switches on this keyboard without breaking something
hmm i wish i could illusterate how i made it works with my kb
it needs to go below the lip on the top and bottom
but my kb isnt with me rn
and it is
some switches are way too tight, namely ttc switches
and it does not go in properly
idk her board could just be bad
it wasnt in the video
never really used hs pcbs
but if it did then you might just have to pull harder
actually it was
i've tried that before and all it did was open up the switch
and i had to reassemble them
how did u even join the hobby without trying hs
I tried it once
that is somehow worse than my ttc switches
do not buy the v1 both because of this inconsistent build quality and because the ajazz ak820 is the same thing for half the price
ttc is outdated right
didn't really care about it after I had a soldering iron
wdym
hmx did the same thing
and if you're hell bent on keychron just get a lemokey p1, it's the same price as the v1 but is fully aluminum
@heady compass you might have to try a different switch puller, maybe gateron one or this https://divinikey.com/products/tx-switch-puller
TX Switch Pullers are designed to more easily pull out switches from plates. It accomplishes this by widening the bottom end of the puller which allows for more support on the switch. TX Switch Puller Features: Designed by kin25 SS304 Stainless Steel Surface Treatment Painting Finish Length: 8cm Width: 1.75cm Available
v1 gud deal in 2022
yeah
these days almost every brand has the same thing for half the price
keychron should prob lower the price or something
you can pull a lot harder with this one because it will slot in and stay on no matter hard you pull, without slipping off
ight i'll certainly try
for now i'll prob just buy a replacement and keep this one as a project for later
so back to searching for keyboards i go
go overkill
holy fuck
wha
what keyboard is this
oh interesting
My first gaming setup
my friend has the same one with brown switches but his came out easily
yeah idk what's up with it
ooo
akko top 75 barebone kit
for 80 bucks
comes with a coiled cable
in other news i bought some akko penguin switches and i will be shocked if these are as bad as the ttc silent bluish white
outdated
you're outdated
haven't found many other 75% barebones kits on allegro
ok yeah there's only 10 and this is the cheapest one lmao
so pretty tho
m1w\
nvm why buy a whole new kit when i can just say fuck it and just rebuild this keyboard into something better
might as well spend all but 80 bucks and if i brick this keyboard in some way while taking it apart i'll buy that barebones kit
i warned u shouldnt
ok did even more digging, sorry for making a big mess but from the looks of it the latency is a firmware issue
when the q1 he first released it was really close to the 60 he in latency but later into the lifespan it's a 3ms difference
it's really weird
i think i've made up my mind
brass plates suck btw
I know it's a niche class of product. But could we get more competition for the Odyssey Ark?
lg c2
buy a full brass keyboard
Goated idea
Don't wanna worry about burn in (since this monitor is gonna function as both my monitor and TV, it needs to be able to remain on for long periods of time due to me usually leaving it running overnight with lofi), plus the multi-view doesn't work like the Ark's from what I'm reading

just do some fuckshit with windows idk I'm not a nerd
burn in isn't a big problem if you just disable your taskbar and turn the fucking thing off
are arctis nova pros for 140 bucks worth it or should i get smt else
No
Not even close
Apex 9 mini or huntsman mini?
Neither
That was not the question
Anyone else can answer who will actually answer?
huntsman v3? if not v3 then apex. i wouldn't choose from them, have you seen akko mongeeks fun60?
Bruh both options are absolute overpriced trash
Fun60 is from aula iirc ?
Both are fine
Buy what you like more
Or buy a gx1 which is better

Havent seen that keyboard
Purely no idea , exactly why im asking
From my research those are the most used ones in budget
Normal huntsman,also ty for help
Why are they overpriced trash? Atleast reason it
Most of the time u send over stuff that costs twice the price and say that im stupid so dont expect ill listen to you without any reasoning
Imma look that keyboards reviews up rq
@boreal rivet to expensive imo
what you looking for just a 80%?
thereās some good options
if youād accept 75% the ak820 max is possibly the best HE board for under Ā£100
aula f87 is alright
keychron v3 i guess?
all better options then whatever ewaste steel series and razer are making now @upper radish
aight ill look at them
@young spoke im assuming steelseries and razer are good as bassicly EVERYWHERE i looked it told me that those keyboards are the best
(as in huntsman mini, apex 9 , apex pro)
who told you these are good
you shouldnāt trust them
youtube
an actual not big brand mechanical keyboard is more then enough for most people
donāt trust them lol
also bassicly on every shop i looked theres no small brand mechanical keyboards
barely any keyboards of small brands
my main suggestion is the V3 pro or the ak820 max if you donāt mind 75%
amazon has all i listed
idk the difference
or even better aliexpress
of 75% and 80%
proll a small difference tbh
@young spoke can u possibly include me the links to them as somehow i cant find them
left is V3 max and right is ak820 max
what country
the screen on the ak820 max is pretty funny
all of them are on amazon in the uk at least
Poland
the keyboards lowkey look weird but it may just be the fact im used to RGB
they donāt have the HE version of the ak820 but they do have this https://www.amazon.pl/EPOMAKER-bezprzewodowa-klawiatura-mechaniczna-podÅwietleniem/dp/B0CMWJSQMB/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?

i personally own this board and itās 100% worth the money
theyāre more stylised and unique then the classic black on black keyboards that you usually see
the v3 isnāt available on polish amazon either so id defo recommend this
plastic case tho
itās still definitely more stable then some other boards iāve tried
(cough cough corsair K70 cough cough)
@young spoke and i kinda dont trust chinese stuff
why not
quite literally all keyboards are made in china
ive used an steelseries , genesis and an chinese keyboard in the past
from my experience,
the chinese one from aliexpress broke in 3 weeks
steelseries was all cool but it was kinda starting to be noisy so i bought an genesis
used the same model for 2 years
pretty good but its starting to fall apart
as in the ctrl button is slowly falling off
only way im keeping it is js for typing
as its a 100%
Does anyone have a good review/ranking of the various replacement hall effect (or TMR?) thumbsticks for joycons? I have a couple of joycons that have bad drift and want to replace them but Amazon has turned into a hellscape of undecipherable listings that don't actually tell you what you're getting.
iāve owned the ak820 pro for a month and a bit so far
0 issues
i used to have a keychron k5 but i didnāt like the 100% so i got that instead
10000% recommend the ak820 pro to anyone
aight i might reconsider then, but i purely just trust keyboards which ive seen/tested/played on irl.
i have like 5 friends using either apex 9 or apex pro
(mainly tkl's)
and 2 using razer huntsman
so thats why i thought about those keyboards
the ak820 will definitely be higher quality
are wootings reliable?
No more or less than any other keyboard
would rtx 3060 and ryzen 5 5600 be able to handle this or should i just stick to my 180 hz 1080p
Not sure if smart watches count as peripherals but super excited;
y'all ever had a keycap stem break in half so you super glued the keycap onto the switch directly?
i also tape modded the v1 and added foam to the spacebar
this thing is hella jank rn
petition for there to be a psu circuit releases announcement channel
that's terrifying
cheap keycap designers doing everything in their power to make the abs they use age the equivalent of 50 years in a single month
It surprises me that could happen to a double shot pbt keycap
it's pbt
even worse
a pentium would still works
Inside at the very least is abs
impractical project idea: a phone charger that can charge off a wall socket or by being stabbed into a lemon. Make custom prongs that have steel tips, insulation, and zinc and copper middles, like a mixed-metal TRS pin. If the steel tips get line voltage then a relay flips and moves the copper and zinc over to also continue the respective pins, otherwise when stabbed into a lemon the zinc and copper create voltage that goes to a 5v boost converter to charge a phone (or more likely an AA that can charge a phone a bit once it's full)
Indeed just a plastic shell, but built like tanks. (We have about 100 of these in a box at work in varying condition.) Not worth $20 though - I wouldn't pay more than $12.99 CAD.
hopefully it lasts longer than my last one !
only reason i got rid of it was size though
They're generally not a thing you buy
You get given then free as a corporate customer ordering an office worth of computers
Indeed. That's how we have ~100 mice, and likely clost to ~200 Dell keyboards lying around.
Find a local business that cares enough about their employees to not make them use those, and ask them if you can have one of the many sitting in the closet
If you're paying, you're doing it wrong
i saw that momo
eva fan
Anyone one know any good brands for desk mats?
why did nobody tell me mice could be this light, i got the beast x mini pro and the cable is the heaviest part
itās so nice
Question, I wanted to get a racing wheel and pedal for cheapish, and I wanted to know what the best options are that will stay accurate to how a real car feels
I will be exclusively on PC
This is what I was looking at:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/167190629049
$149 for this is actually really good. I would make sure this isnāt a scam, because they are usually $300. However, the G920 unfortunately isnāt incredibly accurate for how a car feels, so if you wanted better, you would probably have to spend more on a different brand.
xraypad
Keep in mind I think you have to buy the shifter separately, if you want that.
is this good for a budget pc build?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC-24QeoQu4 so I think I found my dream keyboard lol I love big keyboards
I made a keyboard with one key for each of the 1000 most common English words. (It's not very practical.)
Many thanks to PCBWay for making this project possible! If you want to make your own ridiculous keyboard, or maybe a slightly more sensible project, you can get $5 off your first order at PCBWay using this link: https://pcbway.com/g/n67Ubr

like size at least I would have basic alphanumeric and all the macro keys
Any good gaming mouse's and keyboards? I was thinking SteelSeries or Corsair keyboard and Razer viper mouse
Hey guys i need the opinion of the people the plays fps games (i play mostly valorant). Im planning on getting the steel series nova 7 and was wondering if its worth the price im paying 269.99 169.99 CAD. Is there any better alternative for the same price? Im currently using the blackshark v2 x but the non removable mic is bothering me. Thanks
I just got my Womier RD75, couldn't be happier. My setup: Womier RD75 stock module/switches/keycaps for typing, browsing and non comp gaming. When I do need an extra "edge" I switch to my custom Wooting 60+ HE. My GO TO mouse has always been and will be the Logitech G502 X Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse non RGB cuz why spend extra for mediocre RGB
Funny, I started with the Blackshark V2, loved them especially when I figured out how to activate the Dolby THX profile (Showwing proof of ownership and SN). Then I switched to the SteelSeries Nova 7, which was a HUGE UPGRADE, I had those for 6ish months until 2024 xmas sales and I "Upgraded" to the SteelSeries Artic Pro, which are phenomenal. TL;DR Get the SS Nova 7's. They're absolutely amazing.
Sounds great. Thank you! I was planning on getting the year of the dragon edition because it has some personal meaning to me
Awesome choice, I have a B/W setup or id totally get special ones too
Get the 7's, trust and save for the Pro's. Steelseries is dope
Yeah. Maybe when the proās gets cheaper then ill take those ones. But just to confirm. You can play both in your phone and pc and it will play at the same time right?
Yes, it has Dual Audio Stream capabilities. Although I never utilized it.
I do like watching yt while playing so this is also another plus
I have 3 monitors, So I game on one and watch stuff on the other
Watching stuff on my phone would kill me lol
My phone has a better screen than my monitorš
got my copper plate for neo 75 cu
brought weight up to 3.1kg
it also sounds surprisingly deep
like about as deep as pom
a little more bright than pc
with bottom mount though
havent tested it with gasket mounting
it also sounds louder and more full than both
does anyone know what the most quietest switch is for a keyboard?
new nixies?
yup
hell yeah
yo which one do i get
- Turtle Beach Atlas Air Wireless
- Hyperx Cloud Alpha
- DT990 Pro
- steelseries nova pro

@spiral owl no those are notorious for stick drift.
look for controllers with hall effect joysticks, it will never stick drift
tons of them out there but 8bitdo is cheap and almost if not all their contollers have hall effect
if you like the comfort of a ps5 contoller (most comfortable imo) and dont mind the price you can get the dualsense edge and swap the sticks out (since their modular) and replace them with hall effect
i dont need the best of best
just trying to shop budget
prob not gonna be used a whole lot
8bitdo hall effect controller it is then

@warm raft
@spiral owl the x15 is better
btw if you have an xbox they wont work you have to look for officially licensed xbox controller like the 8bitdo is
xo5 looks better and is a better deal
ok get whatever you want their both fine
i might get a pc soon and i found this bundle (im on a strict budget) so its 735$

are these peripherals good
whoah that's sick, clean the other peripherals (:
Yeah a little dusty. Pets do that.
Can anyone recommend me switches/keyboards more silent than what i currently have? It's apparently "Jixian red" switches. I believe its lower quality MX Red switches.
Not that experienced with mechanical keyboards. Tried some clicky keyboards but the sound is actually lower, just more clicky, not clacky
what keyboard do you have, does it have hot swap sockets so you can change the switches?
if so, there's a decent selection of silent switches, just need to know what your preferences are
Its just a crappy 20-30 usd keyboard with knockoff red switches. No hot swap. Im after a new "cheap" keyboard from a good brand. Razer/Logitech/Steelseries mainly. Theres outlet sale on some HyperX Alloys Origins Core which i guess is MX Red?
I like responsive, i guess tactile is what i prefer, just going off theory (no experience)
how much is your budget
max 100 usd
was hoping way less tbh
I do however, not like membrane too much. I can use it but i do enjoy "non mushy" mechanical keyboards. I haven't tried those mecha membrane ones though
Razer Ornata type
Hows the noise with brown tactile switches? Theres outlet sale on a Logitech G Pro I can afford š
In your opinion. are the amazon basics rechargeable batteries any good or should i buy something else?
i mean it's not silent but it's a pretty moderate noise level
i don't know about logitech specifically
I just tried the ASUS ROG keyboards with NX Snow switches and i absolutely loved them. What switches are equivalent to them?
The Azoth felt good. Just double my budget though
i settled and ordered the smx x05 controller
yeah it has a depressingly sparse amount of information
it's probably just like any typical lightweight linear switch though
idk what keyboards to recommend tbh, i don't buy gaming specific stuff
Well its linear atleast. I havent been able to try red silent switches, but tried GX brown (tactile) today and it didn't feel too well. I went out to look at the Logitech G Pro 920. Felt a lot like my 20$ keyboard
i think a lot of people will say brown just feels like linear but with a weird scratch in the middle
Yeah probably. I thought it was more quiet than my cheap red switch keyboard but nah, felt like it was worse
i was quietly hoping someone else would come in with some good recommendations
I guess its good linear switches with foam? I tried something else with foam but felt like that made it mushy idk
didnt really feel too well. Keyboards are hard lol
foam in the keyboard shouldnt make it feel much different, just make it sound more foamy and muted
Okey. Looked at some videos on cherry mx switches and seems like lighter white switches are my thing. I guess with some foam for extra noise reduction idk
unless you get a hotswap keyboard though you wont have a large switch selection so idk how useful it is to look at switches yet
I mean, idc much about rgb, screens or action buttons
I just want one that feels right. So i pick keyboard based off switches really. I can have full, tkl or whatever idc š
I wonder if you'd like something hotswap and not gaming specifically in the ballpark of the womier SK75 perhaps (although that one is out of budget)
I've seen the epomaker p75 suggested in keyboard places
Stores in my country, Ducky One 3 seems to be within my range. Theres actually a few Keychron keyboards if those are familiar
keychron is a good overall selection but usually overpriced
but they're sorta guaranteed to have something for you
85 usd approx for a K5 SE with Optical red or brown switches
idk how optical ones are though
who.are.you.?
whats a good controller for pc that has the ps layout not the xbox one
A ps controller š
Hello there, I am gonna install linux on a 10 yrs old pc, with no wifi and bluetooth
can you guys recommed me the device which provide wifi and bluetooth and is compatible with linux, i am having a hard time finding it
Get a Dualsense.
There's an interesting workaround I've used to get PS controller support on games that don't have native support. It's by adding the .exe's that launch the games to Steam
That way I can use Steam Input
keyboard: attack shark x85, 70$ usd
mouse: logitech superlight, 70$ usd
Monitors: Dahua 180hz 1 ms, 130$ usd ,samsung C27HG70, 70$ usd are these good?
saw this. what is this used for?
it's in the name, it's used on mice
pretty self explanatory name
i imagine it is the switch for a mouse
the odyssey g4 g4b/g40b looks highly popular here in germany. for reviews, rtings does very good testing: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/samsung/odyssey-g4-g40b-s27bg40
Anyone know where to find shine through aula f75 keycaps in white and light purple?
most of the ones i can find are dark purple which are ... hideous
or really anything that is close to purple? Preferably pastel colors
aliexpress
get the cheapest u can find
ehh tried looking for a good bit, but the ones that did look nice were either not shine through or costs almost as much as the keyboard itself
Check to see if you can get the LG 24GQ50F. I used to use it myself and it's a damn good 24 inch 165 Hz monitor.
Basically no ghosting either.
thats the point
most shine thru keycaps are cheap in terms of price and quality
https://www.argos.co.uk/product/1122365
good headphones??
anyone know of a good second monitor that is affordable as well
crt
depends on your needs but most of the time it's gonna be just "whatever works"
aka some super cheap old monitor off marketplace
do not buy AOC
Itās a switch.. for your mouse
namely a keychron q3 on sale for $67 with code KEYCHRONTEN
normally $205
Holy
gasket mount, full aluminum btw
Is woot just a website for amazon deals
i think so
How do they even make money at that pointš
67 usd would get like a decent plastic keyboard
iirc it's from amazon dumping extra stock or something
I might buy that
if you need a new keyboard
i am trying to train myself to not buy it because i already have good keyboards
its a good upgrade too
buy it unless you're me and just bought a full metal keyboard for $110 a week ago
Major upgrade except I got this keyboard only a couple months ago
wow so awesome
only the weird layouts are left as far as the q series goes
i can't help but look at this, even though i should not be buying yet another keyboard
Iāve just ordered a new desk. Itās got a bamboo countertop with black legs. I canāt find a mouse pad that would go nice. Could anybody help me?

Hello! please help me figure this out.. I want to stream gameplay from ps5 with teamspeak voip and I have a usb headset (Beyerdynamic MMX 150). I want to buy a capture card (let's say it will be Elgato 4k X). Cables goes PS5 -> 4KX -> Monitor + PC (MMX150 to PC). in OBS I will need to set up capture from 4KX and in the audio track settings enable monitor and output to hear gamesound. How bad will be sound delay if I decide to play competitive game? Will be voip works inside game to speak with random teammate, or i need smth more for that or connect in different way.
Keychrone Q5 vs V5, what's the observable difference and if it's worth it
one is plastic one is alu
ppl still use team speak???
Both suck
yeah, it's much easier then you have 6-7 active servers with different ppl and you can hear all of them right away
But one sucks and is just slightly overpriced
One sucks and is insulting in how much you pay
I guess both are insulting in that sense
I don't even know is it possible sit in 5 different voice channels in discord from 1 acc and hear them all?
for someone who doesnt aware of custom keyboards they are fine
Any recommendations for keyboards? I got the recommendation from rtings.com
Not really
V series is the single worst non mainstream gamer brand keyboard I've ever used
And q series is the single worst metal keyboard I've ever used (yet costs as much as a neo cu almost)
@violet gale what's your budget and what sizes are you willing to use
Anything that is TKL or larger, I don't have a specific budget in mind at the moment, but I don't want to spend for something that will give diminishing returns if that makes sense
RGB is a requirements as I often use my keyboard in the dark so I need it to light up with a shine through keycaps
You can get neo 80 cheaper than the q series boards @violet gale
And it's an actually good board
What'st he difference between the q series and neo 80
Q line is really pingy and hollow sounding, has a really cheap sandy feeling finish to it's anodization, has rough edges, mother and daughter boards and connector interfere with gasket performance, and it's a pain to take apart or put back together
Neo 80 is a good aluminum board with a brass or copper weight which is actually okay sounding and has none of the major issues mentioned
What if I'm not going to mod the keyboard and I'm only looking to get out of the box keyboards?
Even if you just plan to mod it the q line isn't good
As I said it has interference issues and a bad finish
What do you mean by interference issues
I'm using the k8 atm and I don't have any issues with it
Like motherboard bottoms out into the daughter board
K series is a basic tray mount board
It doesn't have gaskets
So do you mean the k series are fine, while the Q and V series has some motherboard issues?
And how does this issue affect the keyboard?
No
I mean both are bad but they're nothing alike
None of their issues are the same
Sorry for the questions, I'm more of a keyboard user rather than looking into these details
neo > q derires
Anything metal over q series tbh
Legit haven't had a worse metal board than q series
I've just did a check, my country doesn't carry the Neo
Do you have any other recommendations
It has to have linear switches
Check local vendor list on qwerty keys
I did a quick check and it seems like no one is selling neos
evo80
@violet gale what country
Malaysia
I'm currently using Shopee and Lazada
There's tones of choices there but I'm open to other platforms
I doubt qwertykey.com doesn't ship there, but if they don't you can go elecfox inky 75 maybe
Go to carousell and find
Or whatever second hand market my uses
I can't any of them as well, on both ecommerce sites and second hand sites
Mag f27q240y
someone knows about this monitor, seems cheap but cant even find 1 review only need to know the screen latency
New build
Sound?
lowkey dont want to record a typing test
it sounds pretty alright
nothing special

Why not
Whatās the best keychron keyboard?
āWhatās the best Toyotaā ahh question
I also donāt know which switches to choose
Whatās with the instagram reel comments ahh response
What is your budget? What features are you looking for?
Whatās with the YouTube shorts comment ahh question
Touche
Real question is what size first
Iām looking for a good keyboard. Try broad ik. The one I have now is a cheap pos
100%
Whatās the budget
How much are you OK with spending
What features do keyboards even have besides RGB
Up to around 200 dollars
foams, build materials, connectivity, etc
Wireless and wired
Iām looking to buy one to pretty much last me forever
I donāt know the difference between switches
you might like something in the q6 max range
most keychron keyboards are hot swappable so you can change the switches in the future
Keychron Q6 Max is a 100% layout full metal QMK/VIA wireless mechanical keyboard featuring 2.4 GHz and a 1000 Hz polling rate. Customize any key or create macro commands through VIA software as usual, and connect the Q6 Max with up to 3 devices through Bluetooth for seamless multitasking across Mac, Windows, and Linux.
I was looking at this one
Watch YouTube videos on them thatās better than anything a dc server will tell you
there's linear, tactile, clicky, as the main categories of switches
Whatās the difference?
brown is a very small tactile and banana is a decently strong tactile
Finding a switch for your mechanical keyboard can be a difficult process. We'll tell you exactly what you need to know, so you can find the PERFECT switch for YOU!

Linear is just smooth. Tactile has a bump where it takes extra force. Clicky is like tactile but audible click sound when pressed
Watch this
So this keyboard is good?
Just got to decide on switch
For the price yes
They get more expensive?
keychron is a bit overpriced, but for 100% it's probably one of the few good options
so i would say yes q6 max is a good keyboard
iād say keychron is expensive, not overpriced
many of their keyboards are overpriced because there are cheaper alternatives that are also better or equal
Just buy a realforce
do you even have one
Obviously
why
Because itās better than 95% of keyboards
how
Better dyesub pbt than almost anything available, one of the best tactiles (dont have to whale out for them either), rock solid construction, it just worksā¢ļø and itās appreciating in price
Also one of the few keyboard āendgamesā that isnāt overpriced
Gonna get refund from AW2725DF, should I get the same or XG27AQDMG?
Is it possible to just buy a new reciever?
Which one is better for competitive fortnite (don't say "get 1440p š¤", don't need)
S25BG400EU (240hz)
VG249QM1A (270hz)
fuck off, also, it's pretty helpful to specify brand.
You legit got the model name, samsung and asus lmao
More frames is more better
Can anyone tell me which is best

Xm4 vs AirPod pro2 for anime viewing? As an upgrade from the pro 2s
what lol
I should say, are the xm4 a worth while upgrade from the AirPod pro 2s
For movies watching
And are the xm5 maybe worth the extra money
really depends if you're into the apple ecosysten
Iām not so much of a snob as to go into which kind of movie and super specific bass responses and warm and low
I already have pro 2s
Is it worth it to buy the xm4s or no
I also just realized my pc blootooth is ass cause I never plugged the antenna in
fuck
AirPod 2 pro is good
Ok. Xm5?
Whatās the upgrade I need to be worthwhile
Cause doctor said my ears are going to shit and headphones are worthwhile

Do u think im spending at least 600 dolalrs
What's the best office mouse and what's the best gaming mouse (fps)
Doesn't have to be the same mouse for both functions
office mouse: whatever is comfortable and ergonomic
gaming mouse: whatever is light and accurate
there is no single best
Does anyone have the Logitech G305? If yes, whatās the battery life?
I had the g305, i had to replace the battery every 6-9 months probably
Damn thatās good
Gonna order it, itās on big sale rn
Best office mouse? MX Master. Very comfortable, long lasting battery.
Best mouse for FPS? I'm using the Alienware Pro right now and I'm clicking heads left and right
hand size? preferred hand grip style? preferred mouse shape, button count?
What do we think (110 count)
I mean, they're switches, it's highly subjective
if you like them then it's a winner
And that's just the normal price, not really a deal
amazon is silly like that
Anyone ordered at epomaker in Europe? If yes, how long did it take to get to you?
Realforce is better
Sorry in advance for asking something thatās probably been answered a million times, but whatās a good 4k 60hz monitor?
Highest Iāll go is 350 in terms of price
If none exist Iāll go cry
I've been tracking it for a while and it's a slight discount but absolutely not enough for insta-buy
I've been thinking about a heavier tactile for a while
I'm daily driving gateron blacks at home (pro v3 if that really means anything) and I like the weight, however I've never been much of a linear person
At work I'm using akko uhhhhhhh I forget the sky but I think they're v3 tactile I'll look at my order history
Akko v3 cream blue
Oh I've looked at those
I just bought a bunch of light tactiles that came today to try and find something I like
I hate doing this but I might just order those gateron green apple and return if I don't like them
Do you know if sound dampened switches are significantly quieter
Cause I do work in an office
spring swapped mx clears>>
significantly is subjective, but they are usually noticeably quieter
I can't say anything about the feel though, as I haven't personally used any mx dampened switches
Yes, although most feel mushy
Whether the mushiness is annoying is subjective, its not gonna be as bad as membrane
I have akko penguins and they are so silent that I only hear the sound of my fingers on the keycaps
TTC silent bluish white are less quiet but still very quiet and aren't mushy at all
The TTC's often the #1 recommendation but seem to have a bad quality or I got a bad batch because they're pingy and a little bit crunchy
Let me see if I have audio clips
MX clear are tactile? What springs would I be getting
Yeah the problem is I kinda have to try it to know if it's annoying
I could just get more blacks and make every board I use the same switch š¤
I haven't tried many but the penguins should be pretty likeable especially at their price. They weren't too mushy even to me, once I put them in a more solid keyboard instead of gasket mount
All the chassis I have are gasket mount I think
I think I'm back to not buying any switches š
yeah, they're tactiles, and unlike how people make browns out to be, the bump IS noticeable
as for springs I'd recommend 15mm tx or gon springs at whatever weight you like best
15mm is the stock mx spring length, anything smaller/bigger will feel weird from what I've heard
So. Those super ultrawides. Kinda considering a G9 but idk if I want the OLED or the normal one
Because I don't wanna worry about OLED burn in but Samsung's QD-OLED tech is š
it's not a big difference, depends on how much you like having a super solid glassy bottom out
Razer on top!
normal one is waaay overpriced for what it is, oled is the only one that's worth imo
burn in issues are also mitigated by taking proper precautions, and even if you don't they won't be too bad if you just have your taskbar off and don't change anything else
much better compared to early oled tech
@urban panther forgot to send this earlier, i don't have a clip of how the penguins sound but this is how the silent bluish white are
other silent switches which use actual silicone dampeners will be even quieter
i got distracted earlier, here's a sound test of the penguins i found
it sounds about right
does anyone got recommendations for a black desk pad 900x400mm and has a decent amount of glide
sounds like a keyboard to me
geeborf
can anyone recommend a decent usb 4 hard drive enclosure?
hey up can i ask here about monitors ?
i shouldve bought a realforce the first time
but i just ordered some of the lichicx raw silent (tactile big bump)
i may be chasing an impossibility
You just did. https://dontasktoask.com
aliexpress
there are a lot of mousepads on aliexpress
lmao thats fire
hello
helloo!! my current wired mouse is starting to give up on me and i want reccomendations to what i should buy.
My requirements:
- Around 12,5 cm (5~ Inches, preferably nothing smaller than that).
- Wireless seems like a nice feature, idk cus i use wire but it just seems way nicer not having the wire in the way.
- Good battery life!! I dont wanna have to charge it during a gaming session if i charged it to 100% before that at least (At least 5 hours battery time)
- Wired mode and wired charging (No AA batteries!!) I want to be able to use it in a wired mode when its dead
- Under 80 buckaroonies
Would you care about having name brands like logitech or are you fine with the chinese clones
Theyāre the same performance except one is cheaper
As demonstrated in a recent(?) Ltt or shortcircut video
I think I watched that video, but i mostly got the info from wanting to buy a mouse myselfš
logitech makes a wireless mouse that has a little addon slot in the bottom that you can buy a mousepad that wirelessly charges it, the pad comes with the wireless charger reciever, they are very nice and feel great in the had, they make a few different styles for the mouse
a bit on the more expensive side the pad is like $100 or something but you can plug it in and get the pad at a later date
what rgb brand is good on a budget
what kind of rgb? led strips?
to put on back of desk
Hey does anyone have a rec for a pair of cheap studio monitors I will use to plug in to my digital piano
Looking for recommendations for a good headset at a budget of about $150cad, could go a little over $200 if it is really good and worthwhile. I had Logitech G935s that eventually failed and had a lot of issues with wifi, replaced that with an Arctis Nova 3 (piece of junk, terrible build quality). I'm unsure what will be a good set that will last me many years. I'm willing to consider a seperate mic add on if something like Audio Technica or Beyerdynamic. I mostly use it for gaming/music. A mic is a must and ideally should be easy to mute if it is a seperate thing when my family needs to talk to me.
Also, bonus if it supports a little extra height over the nova 3s, they are a tight fit on my head, Logitech's were better
I personally have the Razer Blackshark V2 X. It's quite cheaper than your budget but I really recommend it. The sound is good if you enable the Razer's free 7.1 Surround Sound app (even without it). And the mic? It sounds like a separate mic, It's really good. You can quickly mute the mic directly on the left ear cup (I think it's better than a mute on a cable because you don't have to find it on your lap) as well as set the volume with a knob. The only thing than you may not like is that it's wired. BUT. The headphone cable alone is 1,5 meters long and has one 3,5 mm jack. Then there is an extension, again 1,5 m and ends with 2 jacks - mic and sound. So the cable is above average and is also good quality.
I don't mind wired, ive heard good things about the blacksharks, but also heard long term quality might be an issue? How plasticy does it feel? How long have you had it?
I like mute on headset more than cable, definitely
I've had it for 4 months so not that much. I heard many people dont like how the cups are attached to the overhead thing xd. I dropped them a few times already and they are okay. The plastic doesn't feel cheap.
There are some things I'm concerned about:
- You can move the mic. It's a some type of rubber covered goose neck thingy. When I move the mic out of the way it only bends right next to the cup and I feel like it's gonna snap after some time, but I haven't seen anything like that in reviews. You cannot move the mic out of the way (look at some photos)
- The cable is not braided. I've had some cheaper Trust headset and in a few years the cable hardened and started to crack. This cable is definitely higher quality but it's still not braided so I'll see.
does anybody have any recomendations for a 65% hall effect keyboard like the wooting 60 he?
also with a knob
After a bit of research i think the Pulsar Xlite Wireless v2 would fit me best since it fits those requirements and is similiar in shape to the Svive Titan X Pro which is my current dying mouse which i like the shape of. Opinions?
In my country i can get the Pulsar Xlite Wireless v2 for roughly 98 bucks
whatever works for you man\
Aight
in the end its all up to the buyer to make the final decision
yeah lol i just thought you might know about specs and stuff as im more into the pc building side of this community and not mice :D
is there any screen capture devices that work like a hub with power delivery perhaps?
How much are Razer paying you?
@late zinc I'm guessing you had a different experience with razer? Any other recommendations?
Razer is a horrible company that makes garbage tier products
instead of bothering to even try to make even remotely good audio things they just bought THX so they can slap the logo on things making it look fancy to anyone that knew what thx once was
I somewhat agree, but I had the cheapest $30 keyboard the Cynosa chroma for well over 7 years now with no issues. I have switched to a better keyboard, but it is still a great backup
I probably spilled gallons of water and other drinks into that thing, still works great.
you cant convince me this isnt an ad
Yeah
I mean if its all you have I'm sure Razer sounds pretty good. But certainly not very good for the price at all
I don't personally have recommendations because I only use iems
i assume audeze maxwell is out of budget
Yeah, that's a little pricey, showing as C$407
Could someone help me deciding what keyboard I should pick? Right now I have a mountain everest max with mx brown, ISO-De layout, 100% and i really like that thing, sadly it's bugging more and more.
Right now I have to decide between the GMMK 3 100% with ISO-DE (and tactile) and the Wooting Two HE with ISO-DE (and linear), or can you recommend something else?
I mostly do office work and need at least the extra keys on the right side fairy regularly, numpad could be bought extra but they didn't offer keys like del, roll, pgup and pgdown etc. ISO-DE layout is a must, and tactile would be nice (doesn't make it easier)
How are the Audio technica m40x or m50x? Decent durability?
I've heard good things about beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro's, but they don't have detachable cable, see lots of people fussing with them to change that to replaceable - not spending that much for bad cables. If I go $250, it better be an unpluggable cable
well over 7 years
Yeah that'd be why. You're comparing old Razer that maybe gave a bit of a shit to current day
Also a keyboard is much harder to fuck-up than a headset or mouse or anything else
Both are bad, get a hd6xx/650/600
650 is double the price, not comparable at all
6xx is not
HD 600 is $379 (CAD), 650 is 449, 620S is $349
Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro are $229, m50x $199.
Massive difference
I like my m50x
there is a massive difference in how different people hear the m50x. mostly just two-sided
for me it's more resolving than an hd560s or dt880 600r / dt990 250r
i hated my m50x's
it keeps individual sounds clear when lots of other sounds are overlapping
and i really hated the mdr7506s, goodness are those things brighter then the sun, idk why anyone recommends them
and the angle of where sounds are coming from in games is around 15 degrees at best, with vertical imaging
they pick up quiet sounds very well, and their overall resolving nature can come off as surgical or sterile
but again thats just me and some of my musician friends
so worth trying if that's what you need and the store has a good return policy
they're kinda dark for me
not that dark
very midrangey
m50's were very dull, the 7506s so bright it hurt my ears and caused tinnitus for a bit, i got 3 yamaha mt5s very neutral they sound great esp for 100 bucks.
im no audiophile tho just my opinion
it's pretty interesting though
I hear the m50x as slightly bright
something is different between our earshapes that causes headphones with shallow earpads (or at least these two headphones) to switch places with treble volume
true
can someone recommend be a good gaming wireless headset at amazon.in please
budget: 5000 INR
are you stupid or nah
No. But you are rude.
That's US, plus needs shipping, so $283 Canadian (before import taxes plus a nice ups handling fee I bet, so possibly add another $100 roughly. Waaaay more expensive), still quite a bit more than both I asked about
Sucks to be canadian I suppose
Buy one used or just deal with a terrible headphone š¤·
I don't like the sennheiser, picked the dt900 pro x and they were way better (with an eq profile) friend of mine picked the 1990pro and they are a bit better than the 900 pro x, but more expensive
its nice to have zero listening skills
it's nice to force someone to devices because one thinks it's way better.
While the dt900 (yes, open ones, but for a reason) aren't as "bassy" they still produce a decent sound and with the right eq curve it can be fixed. The mids and highs aren't muddy and most important, they fit nice on my head, so just because someone thinks one is better (on paper) doesn't mean that an other one won't be suited better
also the bd ones here are cheaper and i can get replacement parts for cheap
beyers are insanely sibilant and eq isn't going to fix that
you think they sound better because the sibilance wows you more
in the end it's also personal preference, thinks that one hate and make a product unusable can be something an other one wouldn't even notice (like the scraping of mx brown switches)
that's out of line
900 pro x isnt even that bright, at least on paper
and the 6xx is not a great choice for most competitive fps games
imaging is weird and quiet sounds could be portrayed a little louder
it literally does not matter
in competitive fps games its either a skill issue or the sound engine is broken and you can't hear shit anyway
Will can air hurt if the liquid drips ?
it can, just wait a bit, it's going to evaporate. Also in that time your hw can heat up a bit, sudden temp changes could also damage something
you don't have to wait long, 10-30min max
alcohol can damage the caps (can make plastic brittle), so it's best to test it somewhere
the duster uses 1,1-Difluoroethane, so there should be no liquid damage, only cold damage if you aren't careful
for keyboard cleaning what i use is mostly soapy water for the caps (normal dish soap) and window cleaner for the case, if caps are way to dirty (of if I'm lazy) they are put in a pillowcase with a zip and will be washed on the 30°C program
but test everything before doing, it can destroy your setup because there could be other materials in use
or zero reading skills then?
clearly
no
My board is metal case but I would not use them on key itās fine to use them on the Metal backplate and the plate in between the key is metal
What ur guys Thoughts on RK boards ?
I would suggest if possible disassembling the keyboard and cleaning it like that, if itās not possible iād suggest buying an electric air duster, compressed gas kinda sucks also itās easy to misuse for example by shaking it, angling it or using the gas for too long, which can cause moisture to build up and if dust gets wet and dries up itās then basicly impossible to clean it with said pressure

hd600 user here, it aint that bad
skill issue
What is the opinion in here about royal Kludge boards ?
shit
What a good like that wireless
look for keychron, they aren't that bad
There out my budget wanna be around $30-$60 $70 is max
keychron also have cheaper options
What RK board were you looking at? And do you want a specific layout?
Idk wireless one but heard that exploded
the older ones are bad, the newer ones are decent under $40
These 2 are what I am thinking
@bitter oar
no
as i said the older ones are bad
look for 2023+ models
Can u send me a few
The L75 looks decent?
This a 2023 board ?
I would look in their website for better and more accurate info than amazon
if you want tkl royal kludge m87, maybe rk87 pro, s85
I use 104 key now I never used anything less than that before
Do you need numpad
TKL is identical minus the numpad
Thatās is my current board
pre 2023 so no
I mean just look at the specs even
it just seems cheap
most of their newer ones seem to be gasket mounted and foam
I have everyone tell me there junk
well there is more nuance to it
So it turns out I don't need a new desk just yet for the Ark.
My desk meets the weight spec, and VIVO makes a desk clamp mount that can handle up to 66 pounds (the Ark without the stand is 46.5 pounds).
And then I can get a Magnus Pro XL.
buying a royal kludge equals to buying a bomb
you should play some competitive fps games
which reddit thread or youtuber is responsible for this idea
Iāve played cs, apex and overwatch at a decently high level it does not matter.
Maybe you should?
?
Human reaction varies from 120 milliseconds to over 200. 1-10 added ms from anything input literally doesn't matter, If you blame keyboard, mouse or headphones for the lost round, that is literally a skill issue.
But you aren't a robot so I don't think your reactions would be quantized to a 120-200 ms interval
It certainly can make a difference although a small one
I will wait till we started to have paper researching this topic as what happens with high refresh rate monitor
not enough scientific evidence, so far it's mostly subjective recollection
I mean sure but it's painfully obvious if you actually have this kind of stuff in person
But if you want to save your money that's also a good option
only applies to monitors
though i have to say research into that is kinda stupid
human eye can only see 30fps type shit
my opinion is that the improvement from higher polling rate is minuscule, potentially has minuscule effect in performance
I'm just drawing similarities between this and say audio, which is a human interface device that has had many solid scientific research
along with subjective opinions.
Yes, I agree, but that's not 10ms like you said earlier so that's why its different
Bluetooth vs wired would be.more comparable to that number
Like i totally agree about 8000 hz being unnecessary
the increase in monitor refresh rate to our perception of smoothness?
yea, that's way too obvious, the science follow this is more for confirmation that what we experience has reasonable explanation
we are missing that side of the convo for the mouse and keyboard conversation, which I would pass for now for a relatively new development.
but that also means to me too much hyping up, which I don't like when you talk about your products. The PR is too much, so to speak
How to sell useless crap to gamers:
high refresh rate is the one that actually has a chance at mattering
???
I still use a monitor from 2004 as my tertiary one
personal experience
bros got the hearing damage
1998 here
the hd600 is still a lot better headphone for this than most, its just competing at $300
and there are edge cases which cause it to miss something
I mostly test with cs2. something like 30-60 degree angles are more vague, and it's not the best with picking up the quietest sounds
the latter is a bigger issue in apex and r6s
in cs2 deathmatch its not that uncommon to encounter someone about to appear at these angles, or the need to rotate very quickly to the correct angle
it does get bonus points in bomb gamemodes for letting you hear and identify enemy footsteps while surrounded by your team's footsteps
I've officially switched to all Steelseries for keyboard, mouse and headset.
I dont see why headphones would affect this
the premise here is actual sound
$300 for hd600s is a ripoff
HD6XX
darker sounding and cheaper, but otherwise the same yes
thats still not my first few picks by any means
what do you reccomend then Just wondering
my own first picks for the games I play is still not the same thing as what I recommend
one has several unknown criteria or potential issues, the other doesn't
but I personally use the mackie mc450 most of the time. as the prophecy foretold
the new r50x is seeing some use too, particularly for games like apex
If I need to wear headphones for a very long time and sound is less important, edition xs
sometimes ndh20 if I need closed. comfortable and mega resolving, but very imprecise imaging
m50x is closed-apex, hd280 pro closed-cs2
should i get the ATK blazing sky f1 ultimate is it a good mouse
The holes in the mouse are gonna be a dust nightmare but I do like the Aerox 9
Hand cheese grinder
lamzu maya, logitech g pro superlight or mad g max
can someone tell me there pros and cons
i am thinking of buying 1 of em
indeed
higher Hz is better
but diminishing returns.
At first glace, I thought that was a DVD Rewinder
Can I really just buy a new random "replacement" dongle and it'll work?
Also, for 7 dollars...maybe it's not even real. Oh well
The instant you need to sacrifice visual quality(overdriving, etc) to achieve a refresh rate, you need stake a step back and stop going higher.
120 should be a baseline. So any "sacrifices" needed to get there can be ignored.
I'd rather have a 16-bit panel at 120Hz than a 6-bit panel at 480Hz
but I dont think anybody still uses sub-8bit panels anymore
My current display says it's 10 bit panel and can do 144Hz. So I set it to 120Hz...because I have mental issues
Nevermind. It's 8-bit. I was thinking of something else.
what da hell
what is a dvd rewinder
dvd's are not wound
ok that's evil
one 16bit panel please
(281 trillion colors)
Do you remember the 1 or 3 GPUs from the 2000s that has 48 or 64 bit color modes?
Steelseries Apex Pro feels really good for typing and gaming.
okay i can have 128bit GPU but what is the point if my display can only do 12 bit
I think they were specifically aimed at people who edited images and video
aimed at people who edit images with colors the display cannot show?
firetrucks rule
I mean bit depth is not particularly important
with 8 bit color it is very hard to encounter situations where it matters
you need very subtle very gray gradients
Probably a reason there were only about 3 of them
Downgraded from QD-OLED to IPS, and refresh rate down to 144 Hz. And HDR down to HDR-600
Switched back to the InZone M9.
huuuuge downgrade
god damn
Well the OLED's worth more on the used market. And it's been a hassle to keep that fucker clean.
It's Alienware's QD-OLED ultrawide. The coating is so stupid.
I HATE GLOSSY PANELS
How is a display technology that is prone to burn-in worth more used?
OLED is better in terms of colors and contrast, and also HDR, this one is 175 Hz with G-Sync Ultimate
Plus OLED is the hotness rn
I fw VA and IPS HEAVILY
fair but glossy is the best looking
glossy is awful
wanna sit in front of a window? Say goodbye to 10% of the screen
Or 90% depending on the severity of the window
its 100% on a matte coating
you have clearly never experienced that effect
i have used both glossy and matte screens in front of bright windows
idk i have never noticed a quality issue with my matte screens
so have i, you have clearly never experienced that effect
What keyboard do yall recommend under 100ish aud - is for my mates birthday all i know it's he likes mechanical doesn't have a key type preference
glossy displays are literally mirrors in many scenarios its hilarious
Macbooks r a major example
this exactly
When I used my macbook I couldn't really use it in any room with direct light without seriously messing with the angles
Some rooms would also not work because of the ceiling lights
I'll take a mirror over a barely visible image with +500% exposure
If the screen is like 5% lighter then I can still see everything
on matte
it's not just windows because ceiling lights also reflect badly
I used to have to use super unergonomic positioning of the MacBook screen to use them in a well lit room at a normal table height
Essentially looking at it from like a 60 degree decline
skill issue tbh
personally I cant do anything if my entire screen is white with hints of windows
that's not what happens
it is bright enough to make glossy screens just turn white
so I don't know
I can use my framework laptop just fine in well lit rooms
the coating on your glossy screens must not be that good huh
Hello people , if anyone has any remote job for me please lmk.... Going through tough times currently
by looking at it
and seeing yourself or windows in the reflection
Hello we meet again
Yeah I hate glossy. Matte >>
