the expensive one yeah
thats not a good idea
reviews = advertising
not sponsored?
could be a case
but specifically i advice u to avoid cheap he's
is not reliable
either save up for a higher end he
or
use a mechanical keyboard at that price range
Browsed a little for peripherals in the 30-50 market, are these good-ish or downright horrible?
Headset options:
-Bloody Gaming Headset USB Black M620T
-Asus TUF Gaming H1 Headset
Keyboards:
-Bloody S98 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
-DarkFlash DF98 Mechanical Keyboard, Twilight
Mice:
-ASUS - ROG Strix Impact II
-ThermalTake TALON RGB Mouse & Mousepad combo
so my brother bought a steelseries headset that has a mic on it but his pc has a seperate mic and headphone port but obv his headphones only have the singular headphone jack so is there anything he can buy to split it?
the stock stand?
Its really bad, I bought a monitor arm recently for my 34" G5 and it made a world of difference in terms of comfort and usability
For sure, but Im giving the monitor away and need to put the stand monitor mount itself back together
Oh sure so what do you want to know about it
Hello there everyone wanted to ask if anyone knows how to put back together the monitor stand that comes with the odyssey 32in monitors, the stand has been disassembled to the part just before the actual holder of the monitor most of its parts are still with it I think, just got them in a baggie ...
Ah, unfortunately I wont be able to help, my stand for the 34" is a different style stand, so Im not familiar wiht the one you have
Sorry :/ hope youre able to figure it out!
Ah I see, no worries. Thanks for having a look regardless
ik chairs wouldn't be considered a peripheral but i got no other chat to ask this but has anyone tried this brand of ergo chairs?
from what I can gather this is a reputable brand and the 30 day free return looks soo good
will probably be enough time for the "break in" period and to get a proper posture and see if im not getting as much lower back pain
Yes Haworth is legit
I’ll more than likely get this soon, was probably gonna get a secretlab chair cause I’m just so used to the racer style chairs and they seem to be the one that’s the best out of them, but the $60-80 shipping fee to return it turned me off
That and only having a 3 year warranty (5 year if you advertise it for free on social media lol)
compared to ergonomic chairs liek the one u put here, racing style chairs are pretty awful for your health and comfort and especially overpriced.
ikea markus is usually an amazing budget option at 100-150USD that does 90% of what 500$ chairs offer.
if you really wanna spend more, i would highly recommend just some youtube reviews that compare like 10 different chairs with one another.
usually ~250-300$ perform the best or with upsides compared to the downsides so small u would pay at most 10$, not 200+
and after that the first point where u see real benefits are those herman millers for 800-2k$
so watching a few of those reviews will be 20 minutes well spent
(and should leave pretty much no questions open)
The Markus is shit and nowhere close to 90%
sorry but i rather trust... literally all ergonomics experts than one guy on discord
comfort is personal preference. posture is measurable data.
im sitting in one rn and had both a racing style and very pricy one before and the racing style was most comfortable for me, ikea markus is in the middle and the herman miller was the worst (for me)
some people wil lfind sitting on cold floor the most comfortable
ofc your experience isnt invalid. sitting in a chair urself for at least a few hours is irreplacable by any amount of reviews, data or expertise.
tho, how comfortable u feel and how good the chair is for your health is very loosely connected
unfortunately not everyone has both the patience and opportunity to test seat multiple diffferent chairs before buying
Thoughts on the Lenovo Legion R27qe for 155€ in perfect condition or 125€ with cosmetic imperfections on Amazon warehouse?
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/accessories-and-software/monitors/gaming/67c5gac1us
usually u can find 180Hz 1440p IPS at around 120€ new (if you dont mind waiting a few weeks)
may i ask what specific country?
The cheapest place I can order from is Amazon.de since I also get -18% (no tax)
The monitor I mentioned is the cheapest one available rn
https://de.pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#r=384002560,384002160,344001440,256002880,256001600,256001440&D=120000,540000&P=2,11,13,7,9,15&sort=price&F=685800000,1651000000
pcpp is TERRIBLE at findign offers, especially outside the US.
even within the US i would always use another price comparison website.
for germany or the DACH region i would use Geizhals or idealo
i had cases where i built a PC for someone and we were able to save 40% or more just bc pcpp tracks only like 10% of the websites
within the US there is not much competition, so its not too bad there, but in other places its night and day difference
when i looked earlier i found one for 150€ new
and then u can find deals similar to amazon warehouse at mindfactory or on alternate
https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/27Zoll--68-58cm--MSI-MAG-274QRFWDE-Weiss-2560x1440-1xDisplayPort-1-4a-2_1544695.html
e.g. there is this one, which obviously is more expensive, but thats an overpriced model that got returned. if a non overpriced model gets returned or they have other bulk products, its easy to find sth for 130€ or lower
usually doesnt take too long for sth better to arrive somewhere
mindfactory doesn't shit here to slovenia anymore like amazon.de still does sadly
most other german sites usually do tho
but amazon.de looks the cheapest
ah well if its slovenia idk how different things are
all stores here are completely overpriced
especially if u dont mind the optical imperfections, 125€ while savign the rouble of looking for sth better is very good still
that is true
i would highly recommend looking at some reviews before.
especially response times and colour accuracy differ wildly even between monitors that e.g. are both advertised as 0.5ms
for some monitors that can be an easy fix with some setting changes, for others ur stuck with it or can pray for a firmware update that often never comes.
and others are close to perfect when they come out of the factory, so defnitely worth checking some reviews on YT or similar
yeah I've been looking at reviews for different monitors for the past 3 weeks
sadly there are not a lot for the r27qe
the problem is that most of the monitors in my price range are not on rting and those which are on Monitors Unboxed aren't even being sold in any store I look at
if u play mostly competitive titles and colour accuracy doesnt matter to u, with 0.5ms monitors there is not too much that can go wrong tbh.
really the worst things are either a terrible menu and colour accuracy.
if u play single player games and have an eye for good colours, it might be a slight concern, but honestly, if u need sth new rn, not too bad and a monitor like that at this price, u would never feel bad to put it as ur 2nd monitor when u get sth more high end eventually
i had that isssue end of last year, where my 2nd monitor was good as a 2nd, but u would get only liek 10€ and selling the main monitor was awkward as well.
I play basically every genre depending on what I feel playing tbh. Also colour accuracy does kinda matter to me because I do like seeing the right colors. That's also why this monitor doesn't look that bad since it has 120% sRGB and 10-bit colour depth but I don't actually know how good that will look in practice
Right now I still have a 13 year old 1920x1200 60Hz IPS monitor (a worse version of this one but there is no record of it online https://www.lg.com/au/monitors/full-hd-qhd/24eb23py/) so anything is an upgrade
exactly. those numbers are nice to raise the price of a product, but mean nothing if its not well calibrated
the colour related thing that bothered me with this one for example is that I can't see some shades of white at all. So when I had to write some frontend code I completely missed all the shading because my monitor just didn't show any
yikes 😄
For the r27qe the only actual tests with colour data are these I found on some video but I honestly have no idea if this is good since I do not speak the language the guy on the video spoke and there are no english subtitles on it 😅
Big W for glorious. Got me set up with a replacement mouse in like two hours on a weekend via email and let me keep my double clicking i2, which i will now replace the switches on.
Anyone know decent YPbPr capture cards that run on modern systems?
ok i really need some help because its been like a week and i'm still trying to figure out a good keyboard to buy
- TKL layout
- hot swappable
- somewhere in the vicinity of $100
- backlight that illuminates the actual letters
until a couple minutes ago i was looking at the keychron v3 max and buying some silent bluish whites to add, but i just realized that apparently having the backlight make the keyboard readable is a niche feature
any suggestions? is there a better board or should i just buy the v3 max barebones and getting some keycaps with shine through letters?
for the last option, im worried about the keycaps not truly being compatible with south facing leds
(i am aware that a gaming keyboard fits all but 1 of my criteria at like 1/3 the cost but i'd like to try something a little better)
any good keyboards for around 70 dollars with a layout that looks like the akko Midnight 5087S QMK but in black
it is starting to look like the best option is to buy another k845 and resolder all the keys, which i would do but i tried doing that with a razer blackwidow v2 and my iron wasnt powerful enough
so i am worried about whether it would also not be powerful enough to desolder switches on the k845
is this a reply to my question sorry
oh sorry, no that was about mine earlier
idk
aula f75 vs cidoo qk61 vs ak820 max what is better to take?
Crush80 reboot
hmm but its pretty expensive
used one shouldnt be more than 100
Realforce is better
idk if i really want used
i might give up on the north facing illuminated keycaps part because i guess thats too rare
u meant this BS
and it seems finding keycaps for the south facing LEDs like most custom keyboards are is hard
I'm looking to make a nice custom keyboard that is tactile, quiet but satisfying sound and has resistance until you apply so much force
And also has macro keys
they are everywhere, i wont gurantee it will sounds good tho
huh why would the sound be different
I think I need to just modify an office keyboard with new switches because this is so stupid
I can find tons of shine through keycaps for north facing but almost no custom keyboards are
?
office keyboard ?
it just looks normal imo
i dont see the point of a backlight beyond lighting up the text on the keys
i will look into it
do you think using regular old shine through keycaps would still work (at least enough to be legible) on south facing keyboard?
i tried reversing one of the keycaps on my K845 as an experiment and it was completely unlit, but not sure if that's just an anomaly for that specific keycaps
keychron says it will "significantly reduce the shine-through effect" but im not sure to what degree that is
just dont use shine thorugh for ur god sake
ugh
my dad will have to use this keyboard as well but maybe the keycaps can be high contrast enough
Yea just get a half decent WoB or BoW set, youll have no issue reading the legend unless youre like, in a dark room with the lights off (which is bad for your eyes regardless so dont)
I think earlier they were saying the main concern was the legend on symbols, like !@#$%^&*() and whatnot
which like, sure you could memorize them but eh, id rather have legibility than have to guess/trial and error when I forget
If you want a TKL board get a realforce
😏
bro thats why u gotta learn to do it 😂
bro is @boreal rivet alt
lmaoooo
do any other manufacturers make tkl topre boards?
I think NIZ maybe?
idk id have to look into it
filco
oh neat, ive heard of the brand but barely
Is the quality of FILCO solid compared to other boards/companies?
wtf yea i just looked up filco and saw it was MX lmao, u good tho
yea I know about the LC660C and 980C but wasnt aware they had other baords
will ur 87u beat this
I dont have a realforce, so probably not
that board does look very nice tho what is it
Looks clean, off memory the back kinda looks like a jane clone or something but cooler
layout looks quite similar too
hmm cant find anything about it, is the backplate a 1/1 custom piece?
talking about my dad, he just uses it for the symbols on the number keys
wicked keycaps
What is the type of grease everyone uses for stabilizers on keyboards? I am forgetting the term for it atm lol
is it 205g0?
there r cheaper alternatives doesn’t have to be 205g0
and a lot of the 0g205 stuff you find at unofficial distributors is fake so watch for that.
Yeah I have been googling a lot and it seems like there is WAY more misleading information and product advertising about such a simple product than there really needs to be.
Not to mention keybo enthusiasts arguing on Reddit really doesnt help that fog of war
What would you suggest? I am really only looking for stabilizers. All of my switches I buy these days come factory lubed and feel no desire to lube up undesireable springs and switches
6020A printer lube even works for stabs, or like… dielectric
ty
Ive been rocking a Rokkat Kone aimo for like 7 years now, I LOVE it. really love it. But its starting to lose it, clicks are getting a bit too slow, even tho I clean it. and hand starts to hurt now after a few hours of using it, I use it for work and gaming, its just too heavy. Does anyone else have any lightweight (under 100g) and a bit of the same way?
its wired aswell, which I want to get rid of.
Hey, i have bought the Corsair k70 pro tkl. And want to mayby Change the keycaps. Can i use any keycaps or do i need Special ones ?

qwertz Layout
hearing lightweight and under 100g in the same sentence is bringing me back so many years lol
you answered your own question
😹
you need special ones im pretty sure; the mechanicals on it are just a big bigger then usual ones, im not sure if its hotswap but if it is you could just hotswap it if it doesnt need specials
bro what
used to have a k70, thats my experience
hotswap means the switches are swappable without soldering, not the keycaps
yes i know that
but what i meant
if u hotswap the switches
you could put normal ones in it
and most corsair boards use basic cherry switches
where u can put perfect normal keycaps
so unless i bought some chinese knockoff off my mate then u need specific keycaps
I used to have a K70 years ago and had like 4 different sets of keycaps with no issues
they just have a smaller tolerance to interference with keycaps so cheap caps might not work
since the LEDs are north facing
mic suggestion under 50dollar
u dont like north facing keycaps?
the one in the picture is south facing with side print , unless you mean you like the north facing illuminated keycaps with text on top
someone find me a chair but my budget is like very very very tight
my bad
i meant south facing keycaps
i like them
i dont have any problem with the default keycaps
idk what i think of them, i feel like theyd be super annoying to read because its at the wrong angle for your head
but aula f75 side printed variant looks lot cleaner
true
i never really look at my keyboard so idk
i guess i dont either
but the feeling that if u do
i am also having that
but my small setup is almost black
mousepad,mouse,laptop,monitor keyboard controller
so i want something that goes with it
so black side printed feels good
to me
has anyone here went from a 100% keyboard or 80% keyboard to a 60 or 65% and regretted it?
nope
my comfort zone is 75%
60% is good and compact but 75% feels better overall for me atleast
ill update you in a week or two because im about to buy an 80% after using 100% all my life
regretted everything under 80%
what do u guys even do with the numkeys
type in large numbers and arithmetic
for the staab wires, im pretty sure you can use dielectric grease, for the housings, same lube you used for switches, im pretty sure is fine
accounting
if you do a lot of math the numpad is almost a necessity
assuming your keyboard isnt directly under your head its pretty easy to read side printed legends
it really depends on what you do with your computer/keyboard
I went from 100% to 60% and its fine for gaming, but when I started my university program and needed to do accounting and math problems I miss the numpad a lot
which if it is
we have a problem
your keyboard should be infront of you
In my mind it is directly below my head
not under you
otherwise check your posture lol
should have your elbows at 90 ish degrees by your side
but yea check and lmk
Maybe unpopular opinion but right hand mouse right hand numpad never made any sense
That's a lot of desk space
Many numbers
But I mean, if you're ADHD, soooo many choices
I have a magi65 but really do want a left hand numpad lol
ADHD is my narrow personality
I'm just making fun of myself, I'm actually dx'd lol
Diagnosed
You know what
Yes
HE switches?
Hall effect
its a type of switch
as opposed to a mechanical switch
do uses a different type of PCB and Switches and whatnot
keychron makes an he board with a numpad
I wouldnt buy a keychron but thats just me
Keychron does, at least
Q6 HE
Might be others I didn't look
Gosh darn it that got mentioned
I didn't realize there were messages below
Wdym
Sound is quite different, feel is also a bit different I think but can’t confirm personally
Ohhh I meant that keyboard already being mentioned earlier
Like I didn't see people mentioning keuchron until I sent
Idk it depends on the build, too many variables in keyboards, but I know the magnet bottoming out can sometimes make a clacky sound? Like mega on plastic type sound?
Look up a video
can you install them in a normal hotswap keyboard or do they all need specific board support
HE switches need an HE pcb
But I think nowadays the HE switches and pcbs are mostly if not all hotswappable, but I don’t actually know so look into it
in my mind its like 45-60 degree infront of my eye
i have my elbow at 90 degree
while sitting
with straight back
cause else i will die
the dorm chair are so bad
you guys are right, my arms are like a 100 degree angle and maybe 45 degree angle to the keyboard from eyes
hmm i rest my arms on the table
wrists floating
probably at least one of the things i do is a cause of wrist pain
wdym
oh my elbows are floating too i think
no they arent
well it depends on the setup, over here right now it's at the corner of the desk like a cubicle
this setup here is extremely uncomfortable
it works at my other setup just fine but ill have to update you in 3 hours when i go back there to know for sure
This is it over here
yeah....
just upgraded that pc to a 265k which is extra funny
1600x900 being driven by a monster cpu in 2025
Lemme send a pic or chair
U will cry
Damn
In ur dorm room?
Oh
I have to sit on it daily
For 6-8h
Whenever I code or study or game
😭
I am getting a new chair next month I can't handle it
i just have those super cushiony office chairs
Expensive
my hands are near the letters and then the hand is floating so the hands are at a comfortable angle
after the elbow my arm is angled upwards, whatever bone that is
yeah this setup is extremely uncomfortable because it makes my elbows hurt
yeah the letters on the keyboard
my other setup has just a regular desk and i think my elbows float?
hmm
i sit up straight
this angled desk sucks so bad
maybe i need a 75% for this pc
its another issue
my hands are angled left to reac hthe keyboard
no that's normal i think
i have no idea what i am talking about
]]]maybe this is what small keyboards are for
its because i need space for the mouse
my left arm is facing straight but my right arm is facing left
Cause dad uses it now,I don't want to trouble him, gonna buy a new one for around 50dollar
although, sometimes i lean back and to the left and my mouse hits the numpad side
If he allows yes
But he won't
Can't care less
Bro this plastic chair is so hard
My ass is going flat
I just want something that doesn't hurt my back
Exactly
That's why I don't wanna overspend
Instead of a mic I will get a office chair first
exactly
i am a uni student
I don't have a stable income atm
I do some freelance here and there
True
I make Minecraft plugin
Pays me enough to enjoy my time
I can't focus more on freelance because I have to maintain my gpa as I wanna do masters from abroad
I am currently in top 40 student in my university so competition is tough and I have like 8 core subjects this sem
Gotta have 10h sitting time studying everyday
Thats crazy but huge props to the dedication sir, big W
Yea I stand by the fact that if you want to buy a nice keyboard, your best bet is buying used. Tons of solid deals on mechmarket like, all the time
buying used can be a bit sketchy but worth it as long as youre cautious
thanks
gpa 4.0 gaming
Fr
I have a 3.6gpa atm
But I like gaming
I used to play valo, but quit it.
Currently enjoying marvel rivals.
Bro I wish I could play marvel rivals but its so poorly optimized, my poor little laptop CANNOT handle running it at 3440x1440, even on low 😭
unless its a way too big screen for a laptop, it might look absolutely fine at lower resolutions
Is BLOODY considered a good brand?
I've used their stuff for a good amount of time (Had their B318 keyboard since pre-covid) and felt it was decently made
They make decent quality stuff
Had their B318 keyboard that only started to have the rubber/plastic on the ASWD keycaps start tearing off after close to a decade of neglect
And it's never failed me in terms of input latency
I don't know the material
Probably plastic
It's a nice board
Normal keys are plastic I am sure
The orange ones are a bit more... Idk how to say it
LK switch keys apparently? Doesn't say much about the build material though
@finite orchid got more info
ABS key caps apparently?
They're all optical switch
As expected
Is that dogshit or decent
It was 50 USD new
Now around 30-40
From my own experience I can confirm it's pretty ergonomic
And... Lemme check if it bends
Like Linus does alot for some reason
Barely a degree or two
It's rigid
Fairly heavy but not too heavy
Worth it for being so resilient oh wow
Fair enough
Yeah but just saying
Sturdy and not that heavy for what it is
Lemme check the angle of it with the front risers
Gonna grab my semi circle
for typing a lot of people also like flexible keyboards.
its definitely a preference thing.
it definitely feels cheaper if it bends if u hold it up, but while using it for some its nice to basically not have ur finger stopped completely once the key bottoms out
@finite orchid i just checked on my normal setup and my elbows are hanging off the desk, so the part just about an inch away from the elbow is resting on the edge of the desk
then the lower part of my arm is angled up so my wrists are floating near the keyboard
elbows are about 90 to 95 degrees
Lemme take a picture of how the riser looks
It even fits WiFi the general sci-fi look of the board
lmao which part was confusing
i think its a pretty normal position anyways
i think im gonna buy a nuphy gem80
trying to decide between the blue and black, the blue looks pretty neat but im used to having black stuff
its ok, sometimes i hit the side of my 100% anyways with my mouse
maybe it will improve it
i could probably get a wireless numpad from my dad to use every so often
maybe i shall take a chance on the blue
It looks like a shield or landing leg for a ship
Legit fits the design perfectly
I am buying a new one for my new setup
Not even going to get a new model
This is the best they've ever made clearly
i probably should use an actual ergonomic chair
this thing is so cushiony you cant really do anything]
Everything but their B series is just rectangles
Hhhhhh
They're neat but I want my dreadnought class spaceship
Oooooo
There's the B310N & B314 but the former is just a neon one & the latter is a "4 light strike" as opposed to the B318's "8 light strike"
B150
Let's see what local sources sell these
A little
But I founda B318 :3
35 US for closed box too
1 year warranty too, which is a bit relieving
Let's see their mouse collection atleast
I want a full BLOODY peripheral build
Maybe NOT fully bc idk if they make monitors
But I'll check anyway
P91
It has software for it on their site
So does the B318
Low quality image unfortunately
It has drivers too though
Most expensive of the bunch though, 39 US
@finite orchid Only monitor left
Can we get the W and have an BLOODY build
Or nah
I don't use mics that much anyway
Fair enough
Also
It's so zover they have no monitors
Nor does their parent company A4Tech
MSI to save the day ig
Lord lead me not into temptation
This thing costs 220 US
Aw their mousepads are ass
Build quality looks good but the upper right hand is ehhhhhh
hall effect keyboard or nah
Nah
Absolutely unreal.. (not in the good way)

i think this is an issue with logitech gaming software as well
nuphy gave me a 10% off referral link after i bought keyboard
Might still get it though
4.50 for a well sized mousepad
And from a company I can actually trust with quality
Yeah
700x300x2
That's their brand
Trustable enough, and affordable
Anyone here use a single, large 4k monitor?
Currently have 2x 27 inch 2k, debating a 32 inch 4k as my desk is quite small and my second 27 inch is at quite a sharp angle
They may fit a bit better if I move the first across but then the border between the two will be directly infront of me which isn't great for gaming
You should probably ask #tech-chat-1 / 2 aswell
More interested in what it's like from a productivity pov, figured with such a huge resolution I could use window grouping etc
Yeah can do though afraid of double-posting 😅
Post to the one that's most active at the time
Uh so
I might have broken my current keyboard usb port
If I soldering it,will it work again?
If you manage to pull it off
mom said her mice didnt work
Your best bet with that would be hot air and solder paste if you have access to it
Drag soldering might work but idk if the pins stick out far enough for that
If you don't have the tools find someone that does imo
I mean I ordered aula f75 cause I wanted a upgrade, but instead of throwing it I would rather want to fix it and keep it
does anyone know of some bluetooth adapter that I can plug into a 3.5mm combo jack so that I can use my Sony XM4 headset for meetings and such? Bluetooth is disabled on that computer due to security (government agency supplied laptop). Or if there is some usb dongle that shows up as a wired usb headset (similar to the supplied USB Platronics headset, that murders your ears if you have glasses) that I can connect my XM4 to?
You know, your labor is worth more than a $30 mouse but I respect the grind
lol thanks
working on the deign of it to make it a bit lighter hopefully, and cleaner looking with better ergonomics
nicer print too
yeah
Anyone got a recommendation for a set of Bluetooth compatible headphones? Over-ear with a detachable mic.
Hey everyone,
Does anyone know the naming schemes used by any of the major monitor brands? Specifically, how their model numbers and letters are structured and what they mean.
I’ve been trying to learn them, but so far, I’ve only been able to figure out Dell’s system
just a heads up: for most companys there really isnt a scheme, and if there is for 1 generation, next gen its compeltely different.
so u really wont have many connections or logics that makes it easy to remember, 98% is just plain, repetitional memorizing. which is why basically noone does this, if thats fun to you or u wanna do it anyway, best of luck.
My mom wants a portable external monitor for when she travels for work with her laptop. Anyone know an easy one to use?
That could be an option! Since the monitors are fixed I can set up the laptop to extend properly and not have to worry about my mom moving it around
Anybody know a good monitor to use with a 6650xt
cmk
Tell me they don't look sick AF
i will be happy with kkb retro mixed lights
which set they got "inspired" from
they mean whatever the fuck the marketing team felt like on that particular day as far as i'm aware
plus usually when a company does adopt a proper naming scheme and makes it clear what the names mean as soon as they're in a position where it makes sense to do so they'll start working against said naming scheme and misleading everyone anyway
They look sick, but I wouldn’t want them
i like them
man extremly light mouses are just a disadventage
can someone recommend a decent wired headset with a microphone for around $65 or less but the cable has to be unpluggable incase the cable breaks so i can replace it

thoughts on 'AOC Q24G2A' gaming monitor pls
its abit budget friendly at £180 on amazon currently
im on xbox series s so there isnt much driving force as the gpu (RDNA2) is somewhat weak 🥴
thats about the power of a gtx 1650 super
I think this is a pheripheral and it's a phone clamping weird thing on its own stand with a salt dispenser as a weight held together with tesafilm and grease and as mic height adjustion there is a lipstick cover.

i love that the southpaw numpad is mirrored to put the enter key under the pinky
thats a perfect work board
It’s actually all supposed to be mirrored so that it all matches the fingers used on the right. I just forgor and put the numbers backwards lmao
But yea, southpaw is 100% the better option
thoughts on 'AOC Q24G2A' gaming monitor pls
im on xbox series s so there isnt much driving force
gk61 is good but its abit above 50 eur
50 eur is a very tight budget as alot of good ones are abit more by like 10 to 15 eur
try to save up abit more until about 60 - 65 eur and you will find some good keyboards
i have gk61 and i think its great. i have milky yellow switches on it
I was thinking of buying an aula f75
but it's a bit too big
I enjoy a smaller keyboard so I can reach most keys
I play at a 95° angle
Almost vertical but a bit more tilted
so I don't want the keyboard poking me
I'll check it out
Got these (outemu blues) with my new keyboard (outemu red) dunno what to do with them
if you have some spare wires, a cap and a pc you could make a startup button for it
loads of tutorials out there
U will need a pcb or skill to handwire it
you might be able to use those female wires that are made for breadboards without soldering
basically like the end that goes on the motherboard, but use that kind of thing on the switch
might have to do some shopping to find the right size
Guys does usb velocity ports on a mobo Matter on mouse and keyboard latency
Like the usb 2.0 480mps and the usb 3.0 4.8gb
Imagine a keyboard of 8000 pulling rate 8k
Does it have Lowe latency or better performance on a faster mobo?
If by USB velocity you mean USB port speed, not really. Only peripherals that require a minimum speed level (like video / data transfer / docking stations) need it. Keyboards + mice use so little data.
I mean if the mouse will respond faster whit lower latency
Or the keyboard
So my mice will me exactly the same and have the same speed
?
Unless your mind is capable of noticing the latency difference between say... 1000Hz polling and 8000Hz polling, I'd say it matters not for 99.99% of the population.

Anywho, the question is at the top. Answers are under the "# Answers" heading.
pretty sure usb 2.0 can still do 8000 hz polling, so it doesn't even matter anyawys
8000 hz is 8000 hz so the actual speed of the connection doesn't change anything as long as you're able to actually do 8000 hz
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=17697438 seems to agree
so in short, usb 2.0 is still enough even for high polling rates
just use usb c
is there like a thing i can get to plug my 2.4g usbs into? they take up alot of space and they get interference often
can someone recommend good budget headsets?
yo does anyone have any recs for mics? its just for calls and stuff but i do wanna sound good id prob not spend more then like 100
take a look at mpm1000u/am8 for usb mics
Hello
im looking for an 144hz 24 inch 1080p ips panel monitor, not va cus i heard the ghosting was bad. For about 200$~~ there seems to be plenty options at this price point, ranging from companies like lg and samsung, to msi and lenovo. Though some of these monitors offer a higher refresh rate for lower cost, so it leads me to believe maybe the panel isnt as high quality?
my use cases would mainly be valorant, cs2 and siege and the ocassional netflix show or two.
What metrics do i rely on to grasp whether a monitor has a good panel or no?
Thank you, rtings.com is considered to be reputable?
yes rtings is good for monitors
yo, just got and installed my new 1440p monitor, anything i should do to ensure im getting best performance?
its probably to fragile but it would be neat if you uses LW-PLA
Even Lighter
yeah prob to fragile, but good idea
Is the Attack shark R1 a good mouse?
hate all you want, finally finished the collection for less than $500 total
Wild flex, but gotta respect. How ya gonna display them all?
Inna box for the time being sadly, eventually on the wall but haven’t decided how
Could probs 3D print racks with stem tops if you’re not displaying them on keyboards
Depending on how much energy you have to make this plan happen you could even backlight them with LED strips. Would be pretty lit one might say
yo guys, is anyone running a qled ultrawide?
im thinking of upgrading from my ips to a qled, but one of my main concerns is goofy burnin. Id say i generally use the screen for watching youtube, which means black bars on either side of the screen, since most youtube content is 16:9
curious if anyone else has a similar use case and owns a qled, and has any conticable burnin on the center 16:9 aeria of the screen but not the side bars
if u mostly watch youtube, why go ultrawide then?
if you need the screen size, in that case i'd rather get 2 monitors, 1 cheap, 1 Qled
and u would save quite a lot of money alongside
ghosting on VA was true 10+ years ago.
but that was because VA were budget monitors and only IPS panels were pushed to have low response times.
to a tiny degree thats still true, but the biggest factor in ghosting is the response time, and there are very fast VAs out there just as there are very fast IPS
the only real concern should be the viewing angles, but even those are fine, as long as ur not having multiple people look at the screen. generally, if ur in front of the display and not next to it, its perfectly fine.
i personally would rather have a VA at the same price than an IPS and VAs on top of that are usually ~15% cheaper. but preferring IPS is totally valid. just ghosting isnt really that valid of a reason.
the response times in spec sheets dont tell the whole story tho, so as the others said, definitely look at reviews and if u can, look at some in stores
yo anyone got recs for budget headsets? by budget maybe like 100ish, if theres smt really worth it higher then i dont mind paying more
i found a pair of arctis nova 1s for $43, should I buy them or are there better headphones?
yo someone send me the link to 24g4xe on amazon rq
Can anyone give me suggestions before I pull the trigger on my keyboard build? LEOBOG HI75, oilkings, and some cherry pbt switches
I have oil kings there good
Wdym oil kings and cherry pbt switches do u mean keycaps
Js know that oil kings have little to no rgb shine through thingy. So you won’t have rgb idk if u care for that tho
The rest is decent if you don’t wanna lube or film anything
yeah shine through key caps are apparently niche in the custom keyboard world
most keyboards are south facing led so it doesn't work well
Oil king is literally “oil king”
They overlubes
its great if you like smooth switches
realforce is better
topre?
whats ur budget
because based on ur build im thinking u watched too much youtube
unrelated but i just got a TKL switching from a cheap 100% and its amazing how much mouse space i have
but then i immediately needed the numpad to enter in a bunch of calculator numbers lmao
ill see if my dad has a cheap wireless one since that should be alright
i want to get an HE keyboard (still on a cheap 10+ year old rubber dome)
my options are:
turtle beach vulcan 2 TKL pro for 120€
Logitech G pro X TKL rapid for 140€
and then a few at 170€ or more, like the steelseries apex pro TKL, but i would rather not pay that much, especially since i might need to change switches, and those arent free i heard
buy used
wooting, nothing else
maybe venom pcb + case
literally not even available, and no im not paying 200+ for a keyboard
i am comign from a 10+ year old rubber dome, anything is an upgrade and i dont want to seedle on some middle ground mechanical keyboard that im going to upgrade 1 year later for an HE.
so as i stated before, my options are
turtle beach vulcan 2 TKL pro for 120€
Logitech G pro X TKL rapid for 140€
HUMMINGBIRD68 DRIVER Videos ‼️ Before purchase, you must read and accept following Terms and Conditions of Kochi Studio Groupbuy‼️ This is a "Groupbuy" sale. Upon purchase, you acknowledge that estimated shipping time is Q1,2025, and delay may occur due to but limited to conditions like: shipping delay introduced b
not available
so as i stated before, my options are
turtle beach vulcan 2 TKL pro for 120€
Logitech G pro X TKL rapid for 140€
shite...
the only other viable option i see is an optical keyboard, which then 100% requires me to get new switches to make it quiet enough to not wake up my partner while asleep.
but afaik the cheapest optical tactile switches that arent super loud are the gateron browns from epomaker, i need at least 65 switches, so that 70€ and then im spendign 150€ again
whilst similarly quiet switches cost 30€ for HE keyboards
and im quite sure i rather want the cheapest HE than a 70€ optical
these he isnt the cheapest
turtle beach is the cheapest HE available to me
u live on a mountain or smth 😭
germany
and i need ISO DE layout
keychron q1 he ?
285€
nope
not happening
turtle beach vulcan 2 TKL pro for 120€
Logitech G pro X TKL rapid for 140€
i have been trying to find sth for half a year now and am literally in cocntact with epomaker who are bc of me trying to find resellers in germany to make an ISO DE version of their keyboards like the RT100
ETA is 2 years or more
trust me, i tried everything
the 2 options i put before are the only ones, unless there are quiet optical tactile switches for a better price than 1€ per switch
and even then we are limited to 50-100€ optical keyboards
so really i just want a 2nd or 3rd opinion if its worth paying the extra 20€ for the logitech G
you should watch reviews by expert gamers
done
imagine caring about the opinion of some random dude on discord over pro gamers
Yep you are right
yup i know
Lofree flow 84 yay or nay?
turtle beach is slop
according to urban dictionary that means its very good
have only heard about their terrible headsets, so i was more scared than drawn into getting it, but reviews were pretty amazed by it as well
is there any advantage to a "gaming headset" compared to like a pair of sony xm4s
most non gaming sets in my experience have terrible audio quality when you use the built in mic. if you have an external mic none but if you use the built in mic it will drop your audio quality
I use my galaxy buds but I use a different mic because of that
tbh ur always better off getting some 15$ mic
otherwise, putting the word gamign in front of sth is 95% marketing and 5% mic quality.
there are good audio headsets marketed with and without gaming.
go to a store or watch reviews on them, as a lot of it like weight, formfactor/fit and even the sound are very subjective.
even if the ones at a store are bad or poorly priced, u might get some takeaways and can find thigns that are similar to the ones u tested, but at a better price or with better audio to your likings.
sometimes it sounds good but fits terribly or is too heavy, while another one feels nice on your head but has worse audio and after testing those u can find 1 that combines the best of the 2.
u can get some general recommendations what is nice for a lot of people at certain price points, if u want to save u the headache, but it wont hit the mark for u probably.
i for example needed a very lightweight headset with 7.1 surround for cheap as im only using it for shooters, otherwise im using speakers anyway.
got the razer kraken X for 40$ and for those exact circumstances, its a 10/10 choice at that price.
for 99/100 people there would be better options for the same price
whats good monitor bro for under 1000 dollars 32 inch 4k 240 hz must be oled or miniled
flat preferb not weird aspect ratio i dont want 21 something
probably better audio than most gaming headsets
Not true
The xm4 is just so dog ass
Ah i dont have experience with that specific pair but i have had a few pairs of gaming headsets and all have kinda crappy audio. The best i tried where my g733 and those where just really uncomfortable.
My next srt will definitely be some sennhisers
Building two keebs today, a Bauer Lite Atomic Purple (MX Cherry Nixies w/205g0, TX Ap stabs w/ 205g0 on housings, xht-bdz on wires, GMK Dualshot R2 caps) and a Minerva XL Storm (basically same specs as the other but with GMK Nightshade caps)
Interestingly, I got the Nixies hand lubed by CandyKeys and I tried filming them and the films make no difference in sound or feel). Lube job seems to be pretty good
I should have enough for another keeb so I might swap out my Original Aspiration switches on my Space65R3 with Nixies since that's my daily board, but I might use the Bauer Lite as my daily for a while
anyone know a housing for a huntsman elite? There is a massive crack in the bottom of the housing of mine
latency
wait is the xm4 still one with a jack?
yes
well depending on the headset, you can get sound improvements in different areas
the xm4's baffle is more reasonably designed than bose's stuff for example, but there are no baffle filters
in theory, baffle filters improve the amount of your ear that's hit with sound, and this can improve imaging
which is important for telling where things are in games
with a hyperx cloud 2, you have something like this
where a limited quantity of sound comes from behind the speaker and exits forwards through the paper to hit more of your ear
there's no hard correlation between baffle filters and good imaging, just a trend
anyways it's quite easy to tell where sounds are coming from on a cloud 2
in most games
so gaming headsets may have hardware more specialized for competitive gaming
there are also gaming headsets that you would be worse off with compared to an xm4
nice collection
can anyone recommend me any good razer keyboards for cheap i only do 100 precent and 75 precent keyboards i dont care about rgb and thats all i think
why razer specifically
@vocal depot i like razer cause have been using razer for about 3-4 years and i like the software for the keyboards
so i have had the gem80 for a few days now and it's great but wow they are not very good at software/firmware
i sent them an email because it looks like they forgot to release the source for their newer firmware versions, theni'd like to take a look
it was ghosting horribly on the original firmware version but now i think it stopped?
do they rock
Pretty good yeah. I bought them for vr since i didnt get any sort of headphone speaker with my setup when i bought it the other day and figured it would be better than any other wired earbuds i could buy
guys is anyone familiar with dark project keyboards?if so could someone give me their opinion on them?
Pulsar x2f carbon testing unit, gonna game all night👌
atk kong
is that and atk sky the same?
alright
$15 for shipping???
crazy
got mine for $25 canadian, which is roughly $17usd? try a different reseller
oh i was looking on their website
there are a ton of chinese scalpers reselling these stuff on aliexpress
some are scam tho
yea im not gonna take the risk
if you want good and safe choices, razer gigantus v2 and steelseries qck, pros still use them
alright ty
also if you dont mind, what mouse do you use?
testing for pulsar right now, usually fingertip ulx small
good news is it seems like they do respond to support requests
i sent another reply but its the weekend
42g seems pretty heavy for a mouse that size
Is the chassis just thick or is the PCB weighing it?
Cause that's not much lighter than a stormbreaker max cf, and that's a pretty big mouse compared to that with a full chassis
About the same weight as my modded r3
42g?????
looks like the shell needs some major weight reduction, provided the pcb is as light as I think it would be
your brain will adjust to the treble as you use them more
but also I'm surprised you can get away with using these on a vr headset
well no
The og vive just has a 3.5mm jack
maybe it's only my rift s that has a horribly noisy headphone jack
these kz's are extremely good at amplifying buzzing, hissing, and digital squelch/interference
I mean there is a little bit of noise but only in basically compleat silence.
Anything louder than dropping a pen and it is gone
gud
I don't think pulsar is going for the extreme weight reduction, this carbon composite material they are using is pretty heavy and extremely rigid. Any company going for extreme weight reduction should stay with plastic, like gwolves making 20g fingertip mice, and some redditors doing 10g 3d printed mouse without scroll wheel and side buttons
i bought O-rings for my keyboard
it does feel better ngl
nothing incredible tho, it's a pretty budget keyboard
anyone can help me improve my setup space pls dm me
so I got a crazy idea
I was thinking of DIYing a mouse, when thinking of how I'd do the shell I had the idea to make a ceramic glazed one
Anyone seen anything like that?
No
not bad
Starwars squadrens in vr is so much more fun. Im still playong through the story but i am loving it. It is also the only game i have found that starts to give me motion sickness
The absence of bad but the shortcoming of perfect
what are your preferences
Umm well imma do coding so I obv dont want them to be loud, but i dont want them to be dead silent either 😭
Realforce
depends how loud is loud to you, nothing will be dead silent though but silent switches are pretty soft
have you had any mechanical keyboards before?
anything that could work as a reference for sound and feel
strange hyper specific question, but does anyone know of a place where I can order replacement IBM Model M keycaps
mine is missing three caps and I would eventually like to fill them out if I can (without pillaging from other ones)
just finished combining a few keycap sets to make this
Hi guys, I'm searching for options to upgrade my gaming mouse (been using the G102 for like 4 years from now). I've been looking at options like the G502 X Plus and the Basilisk V3 Pro with the 35K sensor. Both are priced at a discounted rate of ~160 USD (I'm from India so without the taxes and everything it's considered discounted). Mostly will be using it for work but I'll be using it for gaming at times. So not thinking of entering full ergo category. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
make sure they are the same profile
ik, they are
Just got g502 hero, absolutely recommend it to ppl with big hands 👍
I just upgraded from g102 to g502 hero,best decision i've ever made
Sensor difference is day and night
The wireless won't isn't available here ATM
any website that delivers aula f75 in india?
i got wired 1,nothing wrong with it,it slides
hey guys, i own a leobog hi75 keyboard with pre lubed WS Morandi switches and I wanted to ask if its worth lubing the switches myself, if there will be a big sound difference
Meckeys
I bought the F87 Pro from them
Can understand that but I'd like to make the switch to wireless as I need to use it with my work laptop which is using a hub built into the monitor. I can easily use it between both my laptops by changing the input from monitor.
is this the right place to ask monitor questions?
what are some good UK mousepad companies? also what are some good keyboard companies, cheers
Unavailable for next 2 month
I want the black side printed
Leobog reaper switches
So I'm really not a big display snob or graphics snob, I have been using a 24 inch vizio 1080p60 tv as my primary monitor in my mix and match 5 monitor setup for work and gaming for... probably like 4-6 years, but I think it's time for me to upgrade and 2 pixels died on my monitor which is distracting. I want to go 1080p still since i'm still on rtx2070 and most of the games i play I really don't push high graphics at 1080p even, but i'd like to get higher refresh rate and an actual monitor of the same size. does anyone have experience with these no-name amazon brand IPS displays? If their specs are true then it's exactly what i'm looking for at a compelling price, but i'm skeptical of the low price tag and sponsored amazon listings
i know that IPS is like... old news at this point so maybe they're quality panels just nobody is buying IPS these days so the no name brands are buying the stock and selling them in cheap bezzles for pennies on the dollar??
ive got one, love that thing
Wanna know something, when I use my mouse and I click left click it turns out to be hold half time idk if I put more pressure or what,u think g502 can help with that?
probably smth is damaged, that never happened to me,it was hella easy to get used to G502 hero tho
how long does it hold?
Milisecond
Like during normal I don't feel it
But while playing fps games
Instead of shooting single bullet
It does a double or triple bullet spray
so it double taps?
Which game?
Sometimes it's related to the game itself
And if the fire rate is super high you'd need to tap the button super duper fast to not register multiple hits in full auto
If you have like a 100rpm gun, you'd need to hold the mouse click for less than 10ms which is really low and hard to do
Yeah kind of
Valorant
is there a custom keyboard that is bigger than the hyper7 r4 I know it already has an insane amount of keys but I also just want a keyboard that is impractically and comically large
ooh tempting
I wasn't really eanting ortholinear but thats so many keys
I might be able to use half the keyswitches ive hoarded over the years
Can you check on IMKC server?
What's that
thats fking amazing!
imagine using keycaps to play on this board 😄
Is the g pro x superlight good?
I fw this
is turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 bad?
does it have too much difference from the gen 3 on audio
cuz i cant find the gen 3s in my country
did logitech discontinue the g600 that was my favorite mouse exept the lack of the hero sensor
yes, iirc too sensitive to mounting, they generally don’t have the best sound
can i get banned in cs2 for using snap tap?
what about cloud 2 core wireless
they dont sell turtlebeach 600 gen 3 or hd560s
in turkey
i can only buy popular brands and people telling me theyre all trash
aw the g600 was discontinued like over a year ago now and still no replacment
aliexpress is not an option i assume
check out like moondrop edge, he400se, maybe edition xs
xs may be 9000 lire which is probs out of your budget
oh you want wireless my bad
2.4ghz ?
it is available
yes
The moon drop IS wireless innit?
they still dont ship that to my country on aliexpress
Hifigo?
not a single thing
which ones better pulsar x2 crazylight or ninjutso sora v2
i made first pc
all the pads appear to still be in tact. just watch a youtube vid on how to solder... and buy a syringe of flux, alcohol, lead rosin core solder, a good soldering iron like a hakko fx something, a steel wool solder tip cleaner ball and a heatgun pen and a solder sucker.
my mouse keeps suddenly moves really fast then goes back to normal anythingthat could help this is the second mouse that does this my old one did aswell
Mouse acceleration maybe
Go to advance setting and turn off pointer precision
In cursor option
lol, noice
yep! it's back home and I havent used it in about 6 months but I can still answer!
Ok, so I used to have the thurstmaster tmx wheel, the pedals broke so I got rid of it, I want to get another sim wheel, but I’m on a budget and can’t really spend more then 320$, is the g920 good compared to the tmx? Or no
in terms of force feedback definitely not, but build quality and aesthetics are definitely better on the 920.
I got mine used on FBMP for $150 and I couldn't be happier with it.
Oh ok, cause I’ve been told just to get the t300rs gt but where I live it’s 450$
Is the ffb ok?
Let me do some digging in my search history, I did a lot of research before buying mine
Ok thank you
it's pretty good but nowhere near as nice as a thrustmaster
Oh ok
what's your price range in USD?
gotcha. yeah, IMO for the price, it's hard to beat the G29/920/923. If you must stay under $300, that's what I'd get. Thrustmaster has some better options that aren't super expensive, but with pedals you're looking at $350-$500.
Would you say the g923 is worth the extra 50$?
I haven't had any experience with it but I'd assume that it's not much of a difference
Ok the only main difference is the brake pedal they made it less extreme to press
On sale the g920 is 220$ so that’s probably a good deal
You could also try and find a T300 (non-RS) used. I'm seeing them for around $275 on eBay
that's a relatively easy mod on the 920/29. I did it in around 20 mins.
What’s the difference between rs and non rs
Oh ok
just updated pedal and force feedback
but the non-rs is still gonna be better than logi
Oh ok good to know
but make sure when you're searching for the used non-rs that you look for ones with the full set (wheel, base, pedals) because technically the non-rs is just the base but it was sold as a bundle
Gotcha
yep!
Overall the g920 is a solid wheel though?
yeah i love it, no complaints
ffb is ok?
yea
it just takes some time to tune for each game
but there's plently of people that have already done it
Ok good to know, this has been a big help thank you 👍
no problem!
Oh also did you get the shifter?
no, for my uses the paddles are more than enough
but you don't have to get a logi one either, that's the glory of PC haha
lol true
yes, still need answers?
i did if you had any questions
Is the shifter ok? Or not worth the extra money
depends what games your playing
are you casual driving or racing?
Casual driving when using the shifter
how much extra is it? i got mine for free with the wheel
Let me check
So when it’s on sale (only time I’m gonna buy it) it’s around 260$ with wheel pedals and shifter
black friday prices are £180 for the wheel pedals and shifter
anyways casual driving w/ the shifter is really nice
if your playing like fh5 or bmg
Crew motorist, bmg and fh4
yeah the shifter is worth it ONLY IF you have the money for it
game pass is so nice
i pretty much only use it for flight sim but meh
it's nice to have the options
not sure
is 24.5" 1080p better than 27" 2k for fps games?
framerate is king in any competitive game.
but you could run the 2k at 1080 so it doesn't really matter
comes down to pixel response time and personal preference
Yo gang
I need new chair
Any suggestions?
BS3 is a highly cost-effective ergonomic office chair with clothes hanger. You also have two options for seat cushions: foam and mesh.
Ong I think I have the same just different brand
And yea it is pretty good for it's price and I have since a couple of years and it's comfy for what it is but I would add different wheels if u have carpets etc if not then u don't have to worry about that part
np
I ordered an 8bitdo keyboard and heard they are pretty clicky, any good recommendations on switches that i could hotswap for that thocky sound? Been looking at the akko creamy yellow and akko piano
I’m looking at getting a new dual monitor arm to replace a VIVO one I bought back in 2020. The one I have is mostly fine except for the fact that my Alienware ultrawide is so heavy that the vertical swivel won’t hold it up anymore.
I found one by MSI that I’m curious about. It claims to hold 44lb per arm so I’m hopeful that it’ll be fine but I wonder if anyone has experience with this model?
I have a 34 inch ultrawide and a 27 inch
Guys
Does hall effect keyboard actually makes a difference in your gaming experience?
depends on model purely
Dell s3422DWG ultra wide
aight, watch a review for it
detailed review, testing. not an overview not to confuse these two
staring at a monitor and saying how good it is is not a proper review
It looks good but I’m just worried about smearing 😂
ye, watch a review for it
i have vas that smeare less than some 60hz ips panels
in the worst case you can return it, if you want to test smearing white text on black is usually where they most crumble
and scroll
This was interesting, I was actually looking for one of these, guess I'll be looking elsewhere
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Ttye_hqBCMs?feature=share
looks like it's the qwiizlab hub? most other hubs seem to have a plastic or rubber padding between them. yeah, big oversight...
Satechi's usually built the most solid hubs of mac minis in the past
No, not really
anyone know the best way i can replace the feet/skates of my mouse?
i have a logitech g pro wireless.
When i search for it i only get aliexpress or reallly expensive ones
birthday on the 30th, good gaming chair? from uk and i don’t know about a budget but id say about 100 or less if its possible
I gave up on finding quality replacement mouse skates and now just buy CorePad stuff. Looks like they sell their 3 different skate styles for the Logitech G Pro Wireless.
https://www.corepad.de/en/logitech-corepad-skatez-teflon-mousefeet-hyperglides-hyperglide/
https://www.amazon.ca/Corepad-Skatez-G-Wireless-Mouse-CS28760/dp/B07HB1SLX5
Corepad Skatez Logitech Teflon Mousefeet Mouse Feet Hyperglides Hyperglide
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REMOVE BOTH LAYERS OF THE STOCK FEET BEFORE APPLYING NEW ONES. THE STOCK FEET HAVE 2 LAYERS. IF BOTH ARE REMOVED CORRECTLY, YOU SHOULD SEE PLASTIC AND SCREW HOLES. "You can be sure that Corepad makes no compromises when material is selected and you always get the best quality ...
Perfect, thanks!
Is 8k polling over 1k noticeable like a mouse? Keychron k2 he is 1k and NuPhy Air60 HE is 8k.
birthday on the 30th, good gaming chair or chair in general for sitting at my pc? from uk and i don’t know about a budget but id say about 100 or less if its possible
even below 1000 hz is probably fine but i think 1000 hz is a pretty widespread baseline so it would just mean cheaping out
Alright I'll go keychron for it's wood side finish and wireless option. Thanks!
Personally like the white version and sounds pretty good.
the wood is so good
K2 is pretty bad. If your only criteria is wood side finish sure, but you can get much better much cheaper
$150 plastic tray mount basicslly
Like wooting level overcharging
Like this board should be $20 and maybe $30 with the wood sides
That's the K2HE inside?
I thought the wood goes down the entire side
It's just a little side piece that screws on
It's basically a decorated $20 keyboard
It seemed to get very favorable reviews about the feel and sound and looks
Is there an HE tax
Already bought it. Honestly I just need a HE keyboard that sounds decent. The wireless 2.4 or even Bluetooth are nice to have. I could just get a faster level keyboard in the future and fall back to k2 for It’s wireless feature.
It seems pretty good from.the reviews I've seen
Idk
It's got silicone bottom and a couple foams
I’ll try it out for a bit and see if it holds its own in fps shooters. My guess is HE contributes to higher price tag as magnetic switches swapping is limited.
So do a lot of Razer products. That's why reviews in a bubble are useless and can make anything seem good.
Compare it to real offerings at that price and it's insulting
Like bridge 75 or neo 60
I am talking about from actual keyboard reviewers
Obviously they compare them to other keyboards
And neither of those are HE
Bridge 75 has an he version, and a lot of keyboard reviewers also treat every review like it's in a bubble. The be all end all answer to if it's good or not though is no.
It's a $150 thin plastic tray mount with nothing special to it other than a decorative piece on the side
idk man it seems like it's ok to me if you forego the part of fixating on the disassembly and materials
