testing stabs on the "slops", if the stock switches aren't scratchy/awful, looking for defects
stabilizers on the keyboards, checking whenever they tick, rattle or have other issues, checking if the switches don't have unwanted friction by pressing on them, defects...
with what you've just said
yes wow i do care about these too
you prefer certain plates and certain gaskets or none, and solid pcbs without cutoffs
that does not make the other options shitty if they're implemented fine
anyways by this i mean the minor improvements that higher end boards carry is not worth the extra money... for me and for most people with a said budget.
elaborate, explain, clarify. or are you going to just keep gatekeeping
i want to know why is something slop objectively, i don't need to know just that it is without an explanation
The thing is, you’ve bought enough boards at this point to have bought 1 NICE keyboard, that is better than ANY of them, and STILL have money leftover, yet still continue to buy and promote factually worse products. I don’t get it, I really don’t, but again not my money. And we’ve already discussed the whole unethical/unsustainable aspect so I won’t get into that again. Even if you just look at it financially it’s a poor decision
Not yet
i know i could've bought a nicer keyboard/s but to me it's not worth it, i do mods my keyboards differently and i tend to also sell them and i tend to sell them for the price i purchased them, i do it because i'm trying them out, or testing if you like to call it that, they're not factually worse respectable to their price/ within budget.
Hipyo tech
I mean fine, I guess, if you have fun modding boards and that is your source of enjoyment, I understand your point and reasoning. However with that said, if you enjoy participating in the second-hand market, I would encourage you to buy and modify existing used boards. Maybe clean em, mod em how you like, and resell them. That way you get to still do what you do, and you aren’t supporting these sketchy bottom-line focused companies, aren’t creating more waste, etc. Seems like a win-win
Your take on an “objectively nice board” is limited to like 5 combinations you have written on a piece of paper you keep in your safe 😂 most obscure taste in the world
Whats the point of doing a hobby of thats a way to make profits
y i do buy used goods too, my 6900xt was, some pairs of headphones
Not necessarily I didn’t say resell for profits
More so to break even/not lose out, not to gouge others
I was kidding, never mind
*50
I was saying youre difficult to please, you are very selective with what you consider à nice board
Glare is stealing the show
Looks nice though
In whale we trust
i tried to sell for profit some of the monsgeeks i bought for cheap tbh, in the end i didn't manage to but whatever i didn't lose money either
no other resells i tried, it feels wrong
i bought them under msrp/ common retail prices
Flip still flips
I don’t think it’s flipping if you’re breaking even
Budget enthusiast to flipper is a downgrade
I think intention is what counts. If you buy boards to play with em/mod em because that’s what you enjoy and then resell at break even, I wouldn’t consider that flipping
It’s not sustainable to keep buying boards and just hoard them, need to get rid of them eventually, and recuperating costs is ideal if you want to keep the cycle going
Brownies
Yes but you don’t buy budget boards. There is a difference between someone being able to afford nice boards and someone that either can’t, or doesn’t want to spend the money on expensive keyboards. Which ever the reason both are valid
Kventinly can afford good boards still
He isnt buying it
He is blind enough to see their value
@bitter oar singakbd loyal customer
Yes, he may be able to but if he doesn’t want to then it is what it is, why force someone to buy something that you enjoy? Why not let them buy and spend their money on what they enjoy?
this is so wrong in so many ways
Yea I agree with that to some degree, but at the same time they were giving reasoning on why they purchase budget boards as opposed to expensive ones, not trying to make claims about expensive boards
my claims are the budget boards have respectable value/quality to their price, i buy them to try them out and such, ofc i don't recommend every single chinese "slop" i find
But every thing u recommend is chinese flop
I disagree, most people that come here asking for recommendations are younger/on fairly tight budgets. Wouldn’t you rather be able to recommend a GOOD, solid build quality, reliable budget option for those that are maybe less fortunate or want a less expensive entry into the hobby?
Right but instead of talking down to others for their opinions, and discrediting their thoughts, why not try and level with them, find some common ground? We don’t have to agree on everything, the issue is that you let your ego and opinions blind you from having balanced and well-rounded takes
That’s quite nice
U alr had one iirc
for example, i don't need to own an EVGA W1 or old version P750GM to say if it's good or bad, objectively from reviews the units are known to have high explosions rates or really poor PF that makes the 80 plus rating irrelevant, poorly performing group regulated psu, same with higher end reviewed units
15-20 i cant find anyone who wants to reaell it
i can literally have an opinion on if something is good or bad even if i don't own something
Who, Kvetinky? Or BIOCC?
Welllll, if you don’t own the thing, it better be a damn educated opinion
I will ask the maker if they have anything left
And in conclusion, they called out us being a “rage baiter” and “gatekeeper, elitist “
yes, opinion but don't use them as facts when generally someone asks for keyboard
This is exactly what I expected when I joined this discord lmfao
it is what it is unfortunately
Eh each to their own lmao
Well ok, from my perspective? I think you guys sometimes engage in that kind of behaviour. Regardless of the conversations you guys have had in the past I don’t think you guys should stoop to that level, no? Don’t let the actions of others drag you down
Ppl can spend as much as they want even if it doesn’t benefit them
They come up with secure payment like pp and thats a sold
Yea it’s a bit cooked I wanted to get back into the keyboard hobby but this chat is like 80% arguing lmao
Unfortunately charge backs using cc is kinda complicated here so i cant risk
Jesus man I see value is an old piece of shit as long as it works lol
Ltt is general tech
It’s a keyboard haha
lol true I mean depends what your goals are right?
yes. because you refuse to explain why is something better, instead you prefer to say on something it's trash and call it a day, i asked why, i don't get a reasonable answer.
They are reasonable to anyone but tou
A keyboard is a keyboard
Kvetdonkey
Alright this is edging bullying, just ignore it at this point, no reason to add gas to the fire
They will kick u out a meet up with that nail
not the keyboards, why the keyboards are trash or slop to most of the people when they ask, you refuse to tell me, they're not trash respectable to their budget how's is that not rational?
it's reasonable to answer a question when someone asks you...
We have provided a lot of points, GOOD points, reasonable points against low-end boards, you just choose to ignore or discredit them because it fits your narrative. You can’t claim we haven’t tried you just don’t agree with them.
I would personally punch the owner in the face if they let their korn be this flaw
Keyboard meet up
I don’t disagree with you I just don’t like your approach, that’s all
I do think there is a middle ground somewhere in all of this, though
objectively i haven't seen one. what's wrong with the chinese keyboard cases, plates, switches, pcbs, keycaps, well materials.
they only say they're shit
without an explanation
Can’t post schizo gifs what?
Let me guess 500 ?
i agree with the child labour points, but you don't even know if that's the case with the keyboards, the biggest point you've provided was that i should buy a higher end keyboard... i ask why it's better and in what, i haven't gotten ever once such answer from them
What the fuck, is goes for 500 max here
If we compare an expensive keycap set, for example GMK or Cerakeys, and then compare them to a cheap, 20$ replica set, which do you think has the higher quality materials? Better R&D? Better build and print quality? Better after sale support? Better resale value? Ask your self why and answer these questions. Then apply the same logic to keyboards
Actually we onces discuss about the keycaps
He told me that 1$ keycaps works
As long as u arent gatekeeping
Sure they work, but I mean working and good are different lmao
One can hope 😌
Biooc passed on striker and get ceramic
Bad decision
U saw his neo
Looks literally like striker
ofc GMK compared to cheap chinese keycaps when it comes to shot quality (edges of the keycaps or bottom), on average less warping and such defects, usually better printing, etc but again... respectable to budget. for someone it may not be worth $50+ for keycaps
Overpriced because no competition, so they can inflate pricing. I do think the concept of ceramic keycaps is cool tho, could be a neat new material if it catches on
Honest reaction from meet up members when trying out a korm
For sure, it’s not for everyone, but it is better
He’s dialed you can tell from his posture
I have friends that had GMK and they complain about the abs plastic turning shiny, also abs just behaves commonly like that, it's not a deal breaker for everyone but it is a thing and it's not the nicest on such pricey sets
He is staring at the owner
Oh lol I thought he was doing a type test or something
We are testing it out yeah
respectable to their budget yes, i haven't claimed "for everyone budget keycaps are the way to go only"
ever, and they behave like i did
@bitter oar I’m not arguing it’s for everyone, I’m arguing it’s better quality, and therefore it’s disingenuous of you to discredit either myself or the others here when you ask “why is it better” and we provide our reasoning for why it is better, in our opinion. Sure ABS isn’t for everyone and may get shiny or whatever but that’s not the point being made. It’s a thought exercise
Wait that board is 2k?
USD???????
Hell nah that’s insane
yes opinion is okay, but it's not okay to use wrong opinion as facts, that'd be biased then. these guys simply don't understand what a truly decent cheap keyboard (((respectable to price))) means
Define a “wrong opinion”
i think all evga psus suck for everyone because two of mine i bought exploded yesterday
Thrift from kvet alliance to enemy real quick
So I don’t quite think you understand what an opinion is
As he should
I think you should reflect and do some research, and then we can come back and have a proper discussion
15 monsgeek owner
opinion is okay even biased, facts aren't okay if they're biased you ideally want to represent something as close to a reality
I had a monsgeek earlier day in the hobby tho
Like a week or two after i joined keeb hangout
M1 v1 was not completed
The m1w was so much better for chinesium enjoyer
Warfare
To be fair atleast Biooc LEARNS
Here’s what I think, and this is gonna be my final say on the matter. You have your opinion on budget boards which is totally fine, do what makes you have the most appreciation and fun in the hobby. What isn’t ok is coming to this chat, arguing your opinion is the right opinion, and not let people disagree. Why do you need validation from others? Just have your opinion, accept that not everyone will agree, and go on about your life. Don’t waste your time trying to argue an opinion you KNOW the others here dont agree with. What’s the point?
Yes yes yes
It’s a waste of everyone’s time
redditors please stop
Is topre still good in 2026
Classic, jumping in to provide 0 intelligent comments
Let him be lol
I simply don't need to say much
Then why say anything?
this is literally just two redditors arguing over nothing
because when i try to recommend a keyboard someone would otherwise like these guys, uh would say "dinky recommends new chinese slop" along those lines, and recommend him otherwise what could be less preferable to an average user
and that's what i'm trying to discuss here the whole time
omg omg
Ok so provide your input, dont start an argument over it. Provide your input and move in, like I said don’t waste your time and energy trying to get approval
If they disagree then so be it, it’s an opinion 🤷♂️
Thats an anniversary celebration for sure
yes, and they exactly do that, i recommend a keyboard they call it a shit, i ask for an explanation why, i don't get a proper one, they recommend another board to the guy that's either out of their budget or tell the person to save up or recommend a keyboard that's good based on their opinions, not facts
smh realforce good is fax
Aight fuck it I’m gone, I feel filthy spending an hour talking on discord, gonna go shower and then study, peace ✌️
can you tell me what I should do with my moon tkl kvetinky
should I sell it and buy a xiaohongshu65
It takes time
Would love to hope on a call to figure this one out, would be a good exercise
you guys banned me for misinformation, and said that you were trolling with your mod/admin who banned me, you also removed the server link from my dms
Kvet go redeem ur self there
There will be other proper hobbist jusge
he got banned from WHERE ?
LOL
The server vanity is in my profile
you make it sound they banned me fairly, welp it's their rules ig
No advertisements
i don't have affiliates
i literally sadly argue with you guys more than with everyone else together, i was only chatting with thocctober and probs few people that got caught in it for the whole time in the server, i don't remember insulting him directly or such, if that was then i'm sorry but that was not the reason i was banned, i never got an easier ban than in that server
anyways, this is not related to this server so i shouldn't discuss it further more
Go to alex server
U can probably attempt a ban speedrin there
Keeb hangout
Lovely people avoided me from buying dinks when i was new and mint
is that crypto server of some sort
Is a keyboard server
I do
can u send me a pic of it
seedless?
watermelon keycaps?
the legends are the seeds
Yeah i just found them funny
I missed out on brg r2
So i will use this for a while
its funny. definitely stands out
very cute keyboard lmao
whats brg r2
british racing green
Best way to prevent keycap bleeding?
either buy new keycaps or stick something under those keycaps
well
without cherries and gmk is just a mid chinesium keyboard
turn ur rgb off
no
thats the way
better than a bad board 😉
what are the specs anyways?
Looks pretty good
how much is it out of curiosity
Just case/pcb? what comes with it?
Yea fair thats what I assumed, but only saw pictures of it fully built so wasnt sure
Always gotta rage bait eh? xD
no idc lmao
its unnecessary, doesnt upset me though
never done keyboard modding, only repaired and swapped keys on a razer blackwidow, i'm wanting to replace the razer greens with something as quite as a membrane keyboard, but nearly as tactile as razer greens. Any suggestions?
money IS an object, so i'm willing to make comprimises.
what 75% keyboard would yall recommend for gaming
needs to be hotswappable and wireless
budget?
Only god I believe in 🙏
200, can go over if good quality
Based
If you want something that'll last you long, I and will be future-proof, I would invest most of my budget into a good case/pcb (hotswappable), and then for now gets some cheaper switches and keycaps, since those are easiest to replace in the future and youll have a good platform to build off of in the future
If you just want something pre-built tho then idk, for gaming people like HE switches or whatever, ive heard alright things from wooting. Do some research tho
Standby tho @patent belfry may roast me then provide better options 👍 I trust his recommendations
WHAT
THOCCY RECOMMENDING A BOARD UNDER 500$?????
/s
difference between tofix 8k and venom HE pcb? quality?
Ohhh I see, thats what HE meant lul, didnt clue in
thanks
I dont think the 85 includes the 43~ for the switches
lemme check
Yea If you select the switches it adds em to the cart as well but not included in the 85. But yea still seems like a really solid deal for an HE custom board
What board is she using currently?
Very clean, but no sound test? Youre edging me
Sounds good! I like the sound signature, very nice
Thanks for sharing, very cool build
what switches out of curiosity?
I hope vintage browns are not very similar to modern browns?
Modern or vintage? or both?
I thought browns were considered just plain bad, no tactile feedback for a tactile, scratchy
Yes but im asking if youre comments apply to both the vintage and modern browns, or if youre only talking about the vintage browns lol, cuz I hated the modern browns on a friends board when I tried them
like are the vintage switches very different from new ones?
Interesting....
Yea thats fair.
To be honest its not really to my taste soundwise, and I prefer linear switches feelwise, so not for me personnally but good to know they arent objectively bad, all I recall is Glarses consistently shitting on browns lmao
Lmao
Well good to know
dm
?
where’d keyboards go
turned into peripherals, i guess lol
keyboards will remain the cooler peripheral
real
unfortunately I dont think mouse or monitor modding will be a thing for a while still lol
yea exactly
except for that optimumtech mouse but it’s a bit impractical
much easier to find advice just reading reviews online, much less subjective than a keyboard
true
indeed
rtings for monitors is great
hmmm, i may not know what to get at such budget but i’d suggest looking for aluminum cased keyboards
Thoccy had a good recommendation but it got deleted Ill repost because it seemed really good on a budget
i wonder if #audio-tech will be assassinated
Tiger Lite Gaming The inception of the Tiger Lite Gaming project stems from a dedicated community of ABS plastic case enthusiasts. These users seek a lightweight alternative that offers a distinct acoustic profile and typing experience compared to traditional aluminum Keyboards. With the Tiger Lite Gaming, we have metic
with the Venom HE PCB so you can use the GEON raw HE switches
if you want a Hall Effect keyboard
oh that’s a pretty good deal
lol
other than KBD fans, where could i buy custom keyboard kits and parts
divinikey is a good vendor
alright
Depends on your country tbh are you US?
yes
KPrepublic is cool, and im95% sure they ship to US, Geekhack is fairly popular but not a conventional retailer, Epomaker i am aware of their existence, unaware of their quality, mechanicalkeybaords.com is a retailer,
Nevermind scratch what I said about epomaker, they seem to be pretty mid/bad, not worth it
hi
just buy a realforce and skip all that stuff
Wait...when...is this just the Keyboards channel renamed?
he wants to do a he build for a while but he had no reason to do so lol
wait
peri what
just the testing data
their ratings are wack
Not gone? Same great channel, newly updated name.™
I do think there are keyboard geeks that want a separate channel for custom keebs
as a keyboard geek i agree
Completely covered under this here #peripherals channel, as a keyboard is a peripheral!
for how much
130 ish for the normal virsion
not to bad of a price i think
i got the classic blue one
bridge wasn’t an option?
eh, i liked the rainy better
Yes, but maybe they don’t want their discussions get “flooded” by mice and membrane keyboards, but you’re right.
i considered it tho
i guess doesn’t have blue but it’s a fundamentally better board
yeah
i listened to a ton of sound tests, and i just thought the rainy sounded better
oh do note that sound tests are rarely accurate
its way better than the custom keychron V1 max i was using before lmao
enjoy your rainy though
but the rainy does sound EXACTLY like most of the sound tests i found
thx
deep sounding?
ive already done my usual scuffed mods to it lmao
kinda, its really every poppy
but thats what i like so its perfect
ok
adding foam kills the personality of the board
i love foam lol, i never leave it out of any keyboards i make
it makes every board sound the same, that’s the problem with it imo
ive made a few boards with foam and without foam and i think they can still sound very different
foam boys
best thock keyboard for 300$ ?
i want a knob
a pvd weight
and of course flex cut pcb for clou dlike typing experience
must be the 75% exploded layout too
and come from reputable brand
anđ dont forget gasket mounted
some yotuber i watched said they are good for thocky sound
flex cut pcb is shit
it’ll make your board sound terrible
improves flex sure but makes everything else terrible
flex cuts will make your board sound hollow and not good
bridge75/sk75 for prebuilt I guess
look at the qwertykeys options for full custom
qk75n is their only option with a knob i believe?
knob limits option variety a ton
maybe look at the zoom meltrix stuff
Update :
I AM FINALLY HOLDING MY DAMN PACKAGE
is today the day I finally got my keyboard ???
HAHAHAHAHA
FINALLY
WOOOOOOOO
Keychron, why tf do you ship your keyboards with Mac control keys slotted in
Are they really selling that many keyboardsto Mac users ?
IT SOUNDS SO GOOD
I LOVE IT SO MUCH
THOSE TACTILE SWITCHES MAN
Knob at f13 is a very odd look
is this channel formerly keyboards?
yes
Nice
is there F keys after 12 ? I never saw any in my life
There's more than 24 letters in the Latin alphabet? sus
?
there's 26 letters
a what
the only thing my V6M's keycaps lack are € on E, { on 4/', } on +/= and ` on 7/è
they're here, you can use them but they're not labelled on the caps, which I find mildly annoying
Ooooh she's gorgeous
Are Royal Kludge keyboards any good?
i was thinking of getting the RK R84 75%
Get a keychron instead
Make a keyboard instead
There's no benefit to an RK over a keychron
Buy my keyboard instead, good price (kidding)
lmao
realforce is better
Both are pretty overhyped mainstream memes tbh. Also, nice board. Love the color scheme
Get a 40
i was thinking of starting off with a cheaper one as my first mechanical and then upgrading if i decide to go further
Make a 40
RK overhyped, keychron just makes a good product
40's are a children's keyboard fr
mean and uncalled for
Tbh, keychrons least disappointing board is the v1 max and it's still a board that I think should be $35 and is $100
Accurate and supported
Literally better off getting a linky 87 over a v1 max and it's $35
$35 is crazy in today's market
Phones are just children's computers
Why are you giving children phones?
Facts
Why are you giving children 40s
To suffer
Give children money so they can invest
Throw off the stock market predictions with their stupidity
Most big YouTuber discords and reddit discords are stupidly mainstream brained
Pissed a bunch of them off just by mentioning i made ways to take scientific measurements of keyboard materials for modding purposes
Gives you more desk space
Get a bigger desk
In what world is a 60 better than TKL
I don't use keys other than alphase and a couple f keys and delete ever tbh
F11 mainly
I ain't a penny pincher
People who have jobs?
I don't need numbers
Skill issue tbh
I could probably survive with a 40% and a couple function keys
I couldn't survive with anything smaller than a tkl for work
Skill issue frfr
My wallet says otherwise
What?
.
You seem to be making not enough for a 20-30 dollar mech
Either that or it truly is skill issue
I think you misunderstand the assignment there chief
Oh
I see
You're saying I'm poor for using small keebs then?
Funny accounting man
sup arson
Oh whoops urite its like 60 total for two halves
Try again
Why bother
Brothers going deep for whatever reason
Hello
I guess I'm too EE brained for LTT fr
I been here longer than you homie
I'll never understand 40's
I'd rather die than join a server dedicated to glorified remote controls
For the price of a tkl you can get this 40 than has half the real estate
Makes zero sense
@arctic shuttle
Crazy
i can conclude i shouuld stay away from 40's since this
this is pure elitism behavior
I have an RK, while I dont mind it, I modded it quite a bit to just to make ok, and even then it has a really annoying PCB issue. Cant recommend
ok then
no
fire hazard
save up for something properly
Yea, as someone who is in a business program, even a 60% board is not ideal, really missing the numpad I cant even lie, might get a standalone 20% numpad
I cant imagine using a 40%
But hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone has their own needs
40's are just copium but
I just have the numbpad on my mouse
u need a fullsize
splits are fine
since they are actually usable
stuff like xezioh's hhkb 40% is moreso just a meme board
Splits are their own thing though
real
what peak productivity looks like
Just have to animate subway surfers on the display
bc of the battery?
uhm I doubt it, but for the price point of some of the rk you can get a better keyboard
I did used to have an rk61, and it was only good after I modded it, with new switches, and lubed it, foam modded it, tape modded it.
ohhh ok
yeah
then any suggestions?
uhm people may disagree but most epomaker ones are okay in my opinion. this is were it really gets to preference lol. what kind of sound profile do you like? clicky, thocky/deep, or poppy/creamy
i guess thocky or creamy
hmm okay nice choices, price range?
i just wanted to start out with a cheaper mechanical as my first one bc im new to this
mk thats do able
what is your max price, so I can find a medium
ig 50€-100€ bc school isnt giving much monthly
alr nice, i assume amazon works?
oh ew hmm
i could just try it from the official websites if they have any
do you have a prefered layout? like 60. 75. or full size?
mk
good luck with customer service and overall quality when using an epomaker board
tkl works
yeah ik, but I have never had a problem so far, and I don't use customer service lol
thats ur personal experience
yep, and while I know others are not as fortunate, I'd still recommend some of their keyboards. however the bridge75 is alot better than any of those so
indeed
I have the rk61 rn and I have a pcb issue, wouldnt recommend
that sucks
depends on the model, the r84 is outdated rk kb, i you want a cheap 75% board the r75 would be better for a rk
kvetinky is back with his best ali picks
@craggy dirge buy a classic tkl
or bauer lite
you’re back on your track claiming royal kludge keyboards are fire hazards despite that not being the case with newer models.
"buddy" ouch but ok
imma look for others
@chrome raft helped
kinda, I wish your country turned to euros sooner but its alr
Designed by Nephlock, the CLASSIC-TKL blends modern fun with retro charm in an affordable injection molded housing. Featuring per-key RGB with loads of RGB effects, a paired lightbar (toggleable with a unique Retro Mode), gasket isolation, and a full-contact silicone base for increased desk adhesion and acoustics. An e
nah dw ab it i can still order it
just that i gotta save up some more
I think they wanted a pre built to get started but that is a good keyboard kit
im saving to get one lol
that’s going to be over €100
transition lite another choice
those look sick ngl
tell yoan to get a keychron
if u decided to save up https://www.qwertykeys.com/products/evo80
Please note: Two shipping methods are available for the Evo80—sea freight (30–35 days after we send out the package) and DHL Air Shipping (7–10 days after we send out the package). Expand the shipping method menu on the checkout page to select your preferred option. Sea freight option is only available for non-remote a
if he’s okay with 75% i mean the bridge75 or rainy 75, sk75 are fine under 100
fr
its all a mater of availability in their country
eu yeah
mode sonnet is a 75%
a whole year of saving up xd
its fine tho ig ill look into learning more about mechanicals and stuff
ty all for the reccomendations :)
i wouldn’t personally get keychron unless you cannot get the other options shipped, unless you want a 100% then keychron is fine ig
get used keychron q1
yeah agreed
oh i can they have eu options
might take a month of shipping tho
or 2 weeks
ok
where are u based
from where
ohh nvm it said cargo freight
aren’t those over €220 w shipping and duties?
monacokeys/mechmods
gah dam
it may arrive faster than that, shouldn’t take more than like two weeks unless they don’t have the keyboards in stock
ohhh ok mb
if you use mech mods the bridge75 is only 110 euro
idk how that translates in price, I selected bulgaria tho
sk75 can be gotten for like €90
yeah but I am trying to find ones like it on these sites that have bulgarian options
bulgarian legends?
and while I would recommend that one I did not see it on the page
?
or shipping to bulgaria?
shipping to
aliexpress should ship to bulgaria if that’s okay
nah it shows it but the black is preorder
yh it can
mb, i thought you were talking about legends https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007531302046.html? is this for example available to you under €105?
yep 195 in my currency
nah 195 in my country is like 99 euro
well I thought I had found one under that in his currency BGN but it doesn't work for him. the link that is
ohh i thought you were talking euros
apparently the country is transitioning soon
💶
lmao what the fuck is this
interesting
the start of 2023 they said 😭 🙏
then 2024
then 2025 😭
so 2026?
oh my
yeah oof
@craggy dirge try to figure out shipping on the bongoneko and u should be fine
or this for 189
depends...
searched it up and it said unavailable in your country
from aliexpress tho
thats the only place where it showed me it was available when i searched it up
omggg why are so many keys not registering
i def need a new keyboard now xd
this is an used one
?
were u talking ab this one?
both
ohh
Why this look like a keychron with less steps
Can anyone give me a good white keyboard mouse and headset for less than 100 on ali?
that’s awesome
how old is it?
ah i see
i’m stupid
mx i assume?
looks nice
cool
whats a good 100% keyboard?
depends on your budget
Realforce
Whats a good wired/blutooth mouse for under 40$ rn?
hey guys i found the alienware oled screen AW2725DF at 488usd before taxes, i think its a good price, does anyone have a better oled screen for cheaper?
usd?
yes usd, forgot to specifiy that
youre looking for a gaming mouse or more utility?
is $300 too much for a neo 80, with HMX Canglan V2 switches
bit of a middle point but mostly gaming
ok well lowkey G502 is always great, i love all the buttons and they were rly usefull for me, always assigned ctrl to the third thumb button, theres a reason its one of the best seller
but its a little heavy and the feet suck so for e-sport title if u get serious
Realforce is better
nice, I was also looking, and its prolly not the best but at a razer basilisk v3 (idk too much aboput mice
thats after taxes, 15% here
elaborate
i mean liked the softwar of logitech and the g502 is solid, used it for a while
alr, thanks!
if u want a Gpro superlight variant, i recently bought this bundle https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005710248909.html
its a rly good deal
Better keycaps, better switches and better value
ill prolly end up getting that bcause I have like no mouse knoledge
its basically a G pro superlight with better feet (glass feet) and some grip sticker for 50cad so thats like 35USD
is there an specific one i should get?
oh cool
what makes glass feet better?
delivery can be a little long but from my experience aliexpress refund are good
Not really as long as it’s r1 or r2
Switch weighting will affect how tactile it is
less friction, the mouse glides more
ooh
i took my mouse pas off cuz it had even less friction on my polished wodden desk and its like its on straight ice
and since its rly light its almost like u hold nothing
Glass skates on a heavy mouse is ass
its a rly light mouse
Don’t bother just buy good ptfe dots
Kysona M600
nice, I kinda what something light like that
i kinda wanna build my own though
Might as well buy an attack shark or something
if ur serious into FPS it might be worth it but if its for productivty and casual gaming G502 would be my go to, the button and macro and shit, there were rly usefull going back to 2 button only is hard, on the other hand if u never had more than 2 button on ur mouse it wouldnt change much for u
I’ve never heard of kysona
Your choice bruh
Building a keyboard is novel like once
attack shark is a skinned version on the kysona they come out of the same factory
And then it’s just a chore
nice, I think ima end up going w that
kysona sells theyre mouse to attack shark
Can’t take you seriously with that grammar
wait whys it cheaper on attack sharks website though?
and the attack shark on amazon is more expensive without the glass skate and sticker grip from aliexpress
well the link i sent is in cad
oh I just meant from the offical websites even
lmao, im so used to writing theyre like this, ik its their in this case
idk
the bundle on aliexpress is 33usd
also what the heck do drivers do for a mouse 😭
its for macro, sensivity and some other option
depends also on the desk mat / mouse pad, you don’t want glass skates with some desk mats
true
but theyre better than most plastic mouse feet, the basic feet on the G pro and most other mouse rly suck and thius bundle includes the glass skates so thats rly good
there has been the aoc ag276qzd2 for like ~450 but it’s not necessarily better, a bit worse most likely
for most users
@limpid scarab there are also like vxe r1 and zaopin mices for example which are also solid if you’re fine with the shape and size
If you could tell me a bit more later i would appreciate it, a bit busy atm
i was gonna say that too but a forgot
what keyboard are you look for
its a rly good mouse from what i heard, i was gonna buy it on aliexpress but they couldnt send it in time
yeah they are, i don’t have major nitpicks on my units
yes
coating is fine, skates are, my units didn’t experience sensor rattle or significant switch grinding my right button has some pre travel but it’s barely noteworthy
what are you on about again?
i’m literally asking what he’s looking for on a keyboard, his requirements
u never answer his question
what i would prove by saying that i do?
also it’s like first time you asked
unless i forgot to reply before or i didn’t simply see your question
mb wym by “his” was it your question or someone’s else srry i’m confused i would like you to clarify it
What happened to #keyboards
it has been renamed to peripherals
I do not like
if u not like i nuke your house
nice, an overpriced one but nice
I like razer
how much did u spend
depends lol
this one cost me nothing (had to return the previous one cause it had problems) the original like $190 or so
this is a really nice keyboard though
is it a used one
no
brand new
warrenty claim
the original was still under warrenty
and my mouse is also razer
this is actually a pretty good mouse for it being wireless
between this and the last wired mouse i owned i havent really noticed any difference tbh
honestly i would rather have a wireless mouse
Thoughts on Glorious Model O
shit
Could have unironically got a neo 75 almost
Like a CNC copper keyboard
Nice shape trash new price and trash internals
So... Is it good?
No
Not unless you can get one for like $10 used
Which tbf happens sometimes
They are kinda wild on the used market
Sometimes
But mainly as cheap cases to mod in
Bought 2 for that purpose and gifted them to friends
It isn't, but you haven't tried better so it'll be perceived as such. I promise you once you start using more stuff and expanding your experience you'll be baffled at how bad Razer mice and keyboards are
But for now
Enjoy what you have and just remember for your next purchase ignore big brands
i said it's shit
Razer mice are goated, not great keyboards tho
As someone with a larger hand, death adder is great, I really like the grip and feel of it. Also using the basilisk rn after my deathadder started acting up. Very good for a 60$ Bluetooth mouse, but I prefer the deathadder
Nah, their mice suck
There was some semi sensible cope when they were the only ones with 3950, but that's not the case any more
And there are tons of mice that copy their shapes but better
All the Razer v3 mice have the mushiest clicks though and their stock skates are atrocious and weight is just kinda bad
i'm getting two of these for my old monitors.
Is there anyway to fix the middle mouse button on a corsair? I have to press it down really hard to click it since yesterday.
You know what they say, violence is always the way.. pressing extremely hard on it(To the point of fearing to physically break the scroll wheel completely)) made it function normally again.
Ill admit im no mouse expert, nor have I tried a huge variety of mice, but between the ones I have tried 2014 deathadder was the my favorite. Whether its "the best" in terms of specs, I can't speak to that, but as a casual gamer I really like the weight shape and feel
There are similarly shaped mice that are lighter with better skates etc
I dont like light mice
You think that
But it's cause you haven't used good options
It's not that Razer is good
classic case of "your opinion is wrong"
It's that you lack the frame of reference to know how they compete, which is fine
i literally just told you, out of the mice ive tried personnally, i like it, I didnt say it was better
I was on the same boat as you before
Once you use more stuff though, just like any hobby you realize the biggest brands are bad
perhaps, but I also grew up with that mouse. Im used to it and therefore am biased as to how I feel about other mice. Its what Ive always used so anyhting different just feels off and unenjoyable to use
Again, there are other similarly shaped mice
The main difference with mice vs a hobby like keyboards is there is very little aftermarket/customizability other than looks
so you kind of get what you get and it is what it is
Razer shapes are pretty commonly copied
But usually the copies are cheaper and better
Ill look into it qhenever I need a new mouse, but for now, my razer mice have lasted me quite long which I really appreciate. They hold up well over time
Enjoy the mouse
People tend to think that them not having a good comparatively product means they can't use it
Or they think they use it so it must comparatively be better than all the things they don't use
Both views are just wrong
You can own something that was a terrible value and still enjoy it
in a work meeting, will answer after
If I bought a c class Mercedes I'd maybe be mad about the terrible value but it's not like the car suddenly becomes worse as I find out about better cars for cheaper or it suddenly is unusable
I dont understand what you mean here
Well yea I mean thats a very common bias
you get comfortable and acustomed to routine/what is usual
I mean you can like your deathadder even if there are better cheaper mice
And same applies to anyone
Yea for sure
And everyone should enjoy what they have
You don't need the best product to enjoy something
Also deathadder used to be cheap, idk what they go for now but I think mine was 40$ CAD when I bought it new at the time
Like I said, I dont know much about new mice nowadays, but at the time it was a great mouse for a great price
true
Hey I currently can buy the AW2725DF screen for 490usd before taxes, I think it’s a rly good price anyone got a better price or a better screen for cheaper/same price
sure buy it, i can't really find a better deal for 360hz oled
I think I’m even getting a better deal 460usd so I think ima buy it
yeah, you can always return it or sell it in the worst case if you don't like it
True
that's very good
Is the rainy 75 good

Need recommendations on a replacement gaming mouse for someone in my household.
They have a 3 year old Corsair that's falling apart. Was thinking the Logitech G502 hero but wanted second opinions.
pulsar x2v2
did this replace the keyboards channel
Yes
is there anyone here who could anwser a question i had reguarding keycap profiles?
What is it?
is the diffrence between ksa (keychron sa) and oem keycaps super noticeable
I'd say sa is usually much better but idk why you'd want keychron caps
just becuase they are easy to purchase
Keychron is just kinda bad at everything tbh
Almost any sa caps will be better and most will be cheaper
You can buy them just as easily too if not easier
Cherry is super high pitched and doesn't distinguish rows as well
SA is much deeper and better differentiates rows with height and curvature
where would you reccomend getting keycaps from?
OEM is mid
Tbh, you'd be fine buying caps on AliExpress
Aim for pbt ideally
Pbt and abs are materials
Double shot means you create the letters and symbols by having 2 pieces of plastic melted together
ooohh
A lot of the time it's pbt on the outside abs on the inside
is that more of a prominent sound
Die sublimation is ideal but much harder to get
big words
Die sublimation?
It basically means you have one piece of plastic with colored die sublimated into the material
But they're also more likely to have tolerance issues
But imo that's not a real concern to focus on too heavily
yea kinda sounds complicated
k i think ima go with sa
im on oems right now they they are kinda tall
For now all you need to concern yourself with is try and get some good looking sa keycaps on AliExpress
Preferably ones that aren't transparent
k, can i ask u abt switches too cuz you seem to know your thing
ye lmfao
Cause transparent usually means cheap abs garbage
I can try and help but dont take my word for gospel
thoughts?
ik they'll have like 0 shinethru but they sound so crisp
Tbh, I have no clue on those switches
But they are probably fine
My favorite switches rn are durock pom pianos but only when hand lubed
idk these ones just sound full and also come pre lubed
and are like 30$ for 90 so...
not complaning
Yea, tbh they're probably fine
@lime skiff what keyboard are you thinking of building up anyways?
v1 platform
Already bought it or no?
i know ima go with it
If not I'd like to make some alternate suggestions
ive got friends who have built on it so
Cause v1 platform (especially non max) and imo they're the worst boards I've tried in the hobby realm
max
Look into bridge 75
It's about the same price
But it's built much better
It's easier to assemble and disassemble
It feels less creaky and half assed
It's made of CNC aluminum and has a steel weight
And is just overall gonna be much more enjoyable
bruh they all sold out
Nah, there are still plenty available
But tbh I like the hi75 i got my fiance way more than v1 max
And that's a $50 board
Half the price
And it's not even like just a little better
And I wouldn't even consider that thing bridge 75 tier
But really I'd take almost any cheap CNC aluminum board over v1 max
It's just a pretty troubled board stock
Aluminum case with ball-catch gasket mount design Connect 3 ways- wired with USB-C cable or wirelessly with Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Brushed stainless steel weight with PC switch plate Sound absorption layers includes INOAC Poron foam, IPXE sheet, EPDM case foam Programmable with VIA 4000mAh battery 1000 Hz polling rate i
this guy?
Yes
Plus it'll come with some spare switches and caps you can throw to the side for future builds
u had this one before?
Not the bridge, but I know it's much better than some other boards I'd take over v1 max
In this desk the worst was v1 non max and up next was v1 max
And that's if I'm talking just stock
so the bridge 75 is a fully built keeb right?
Yep
oooh
But is also hotswap and all that
It's actually easier to build than v1 max too
Cause it has a ball catch
so I could get my own switches and shi
And doesn't have it's plate screwed to the PCB
Plus it probably has better stock stabilizers
Im assuming thats better?
For some reason keychron likes to use the most crooked stock stabilizers wires
Much
yea im on a shitty k2 v2 and the stabs are killing me
V1 max you need to do a ton of unscrewing trash to mess with anything basically
Here are stock v1 max stabs next to stock leobog hi75 stabs
Again, a CNC aluminum board still half its price
would it be stupid of me to buy the bridge and get switches or smthn for it
Nah
It's a better board so take the freebies with it but still build it to be the best board you can 👍
is there any way for me to just buy the case?
Aluminum case with ball-catch gasket mount design Connect 3 ways- wired with USB-C cable or wirelessly with Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Brushed stainless steel weight with PC switch plate Sound absorption layers includes INOAC Poron foam, IPXE sheet, EPDM case foam Programmable with VIA 4000mAh battery 1000 Hz polling rate i
Which tbh it's just free caps and switches
is this a legit website?
alternatively use divinity
for caps?
for anything
lowky they got some nice caps on ther
board is on divinikey, they have high selection of switches, tools, other stuff
Aluminum case with ball-catch gasket mount design Connect 3 ways- wired with USB-C cable or wirelessly with Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Brush stainless steel weight with a glossy trim Sound absorption layers includes INOAC Poron foam, IPXE sheet, EPDM case foam Programmable with VIA 8000mAh battery 1000 Hz polling rate in wi
hey there are some plus and max variants
I think it has a bigger battery and such but tbh using keyboards wirelessly is kinda an L
I'd suggest using it wired and getting the cheaper version
yea good point
I remove the batteries from all my keyboards
i may just order from https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/products/shortcut-studio-bridge75?variant=50133577826604

then buy the mmd princess switches seperate
cuz the princess ultras are the only ones avalible
hey @charred plank! I found some keycaps and I was wondering if these would be absurd to buy becuase of the pricepoint? Thanks!
no good keyboard ?
are u putting asa set on ur neo cu
guys keychron v1 max or aula f75
or is there another good keyboard for a similar price
check bridge75/sk75
alr
uh how different is the sk80 to the sk75
can’t find either the bridge75 or sk75 on Amazon
and I got like 60 dollars worth of Amazon gift cards
so don’t really wanna buy from other retailers
Corsair m65 rgb. Unscrewed the two screws, but I can't for the love of me get it to separate? Trying to fix the middle mouse button only clicking of i press down really hard on it.
I had the same issue with that mouse. Don’t remember how I got it open, but that didn’t help me anyway — switch was clicking fine, just not actuating. Ended up just grabbing a new mouse.
under the glide pats could be some bc thats smth manufacturer do
Does anyone know if there is a company that makes low profile cameras built into a USBC dongle. I am looking for something like this for a cheap tablet that does not have a built in camera so I can read QR Codes
small enough you can just leave it in
the mouse scroll wheel likely snapped at the point of contact
realforce

Not at all, just have to seperate the plastic at the back
Ah that's nice all the mices I owned had them under the glides so yh
Managed to pry it open eventually by gently using a flat head screwdriver
With some proper Russian vodka(mandatory #fckputinandhismother) I cleaned the middle mouse button and now it works like new again.
