You should know that any keyboards will and can play games.
Moreover, people who used custom keyboards are foucsed on the keyboard aesthetics, the type feeling and the sound they gave out, which are not related to you having a better game performance or whatsoever.
It is true that custom keyboards are better ( a subjective word) in terms of the case quality and etc whilist a gaming keyboards price are made up mostly from their brand

If u really want a keyboard that make u better at the game, recent days keyboard makers are developing rapid trigger and hall effect technology keyboards vary in many price range. But however, those who will benefit from these technology are usually pros in that kind of game, casual players are less likely to benefit from this ( is like compare a 360hz monitor to a 500/1000 hz monitor, casual players cant find differences )

So if u want to focus on ur game performance u can get a gaming keyboards, especially HE keyboards, and if anything else, custom keyboards is a good choice

They do work though.

nice cheap option would be an IC puller, thugh sometimes their teeth are a bit too big to manuever around certain cases. This can be fixed by sanding/dremeling down the teeth.
