surprisingly very surprisingly all companies have their poor quality products including such as asus
and poor customer support also, not uncommon at all for chinese companies
Product shillling is extremely common for other companies also
stupid question: which of these key switches sound the most like how a keyboard would sound in like a movie or cartoon from the late 90s early 2000s Blue, Red or Brown?
oh hmmm i can actually view blocked people’s messages
tbh i’d not listen to thocctober* he can’t even differenciate between simple marketting bias and reality. and also he is heavy topre fan.
and trolls regardless of what i say
it’s your preference buddy
nothing wrong there until you enforce your opinion to other people’s choices when they clearly don’t have the budget for one
yes, it bothers me when you recommend them something waaay off thier budget
there are some mechmembrane rubber dome alternatives they work on similiar/same principle but well, don’t feel the say way
but, they’re cheaper
yes, but alot of people don’t want to spend that much for a keyboard but rather would want better headphones for example
or just simply save
or they don’t want used
i’ve met people that straight up refused used gpus
That‘s why I am asking which test kit to buy
Or should I buy each switch in singles?
Can tactile switches have a more ,,thock ‘‘ sound profile?
I have never... bought any test kit so I couldn't really tell you that.
I think most of the time it's done with linear, but I'm not too sure.
Mhhh
I think I am actually going to build a keyboard from the scratch
Wireless office keyboard and mouse for 1000 SEK? (100 USD)
No wavy ergo design pls.. this is for my mom and she hates those
R u sure? Because on the web I could find multiple posts stating that only lekker switches work
Because I‘d really love a tactile one
And lekker are linear
This is only compatible with some keyboards that support the Hall Effect. Not compatible with Cherry MX. Confirmed compatible keyboards are : Wooting 60HE, Corsair K70 MAX, and SteelSeries APEX PRO (Non-RGB) Keyboards without calibration will require re-adjustment of the trigger position as the input position may be sl
lekker = HE
u wont find a tactile HE switch
Mhh
How are these switches feel wise?
Is it like a dampend feel?
Thanks btw
Why does the Epomaker TH66 Regular cost more than the TH66 Pro ?
Is there any place to buy the Keychron V1 barebone not in the keychron website?
what size keyboard do people usually like? 65-75?
I prefer 75, more functional
Tbh
Avoid epomaker at all costs, shitty company with poor quality
well i can't really think of something better at 60 bucks
Keychron V1
Maybe costs a bit more bucks, but trust me it’s worth the price
"a bit more"
it's freaking 80 dollars and with the shipping it goes to 100
Oh damn
Didn’t knew that was the price gap
But still, if i was in your position I would save a bit more money and buy a better keyboard, thats will actually won’t break you within a year
Be thankful
It’s 78$ in my area😭
WHA-
Yeah
Lucky ass
And i mean epomaker at least they have free shipping
For me it’s 19.99$
But please bro don’t go for epomaker, from experience
i just want something better than some shitty ass 30 dollar full-sized with rattly++ stabs keyboard
ok ig
I agree
If you really on a tight budget and can’t go up, Maybe epomaker will be OK to the price, but you get what you pay for
isn't the aula f75 good ? i just found it on aliexpress
the quality for the price is good
80$ keychron v1 vs a th80 89.99$
th80 is meh imo
Yep
the f75 for $30 off taobao is great
and i mean
it's got a KNOB
Plus epomaker got lots of complaints in their boards
Yeah, it’s definitely look good
well help me out here
Go to epomaker’s shop
You can find anything there
but on epomaker it costs 70
I mean on aliexpress
yeah
GOD DAYUM
guess i found myself my birthday present
yeah that's what i thought too
Nooo😬
well, translate the page first, then ideally contact one of sellers you’d like to buy from, or get an agent that would provide you the shipping, if you can buy directly from taobao, sometimes it doesn’t allow you to ship to your chosen location. if you get an agent then tell them to decrease the packpage value to minimum possible. if it allows you to ship to your country that’d be great. it’s harder than ordering aliexpress for sure
customs are devils
Real shit
Can’t bring anything to my country above 75$ without being taxed
sometimes i forgot to tell sellers to decrease packpage value and at the end a $120 keyboard ended up extra $60
in eu stuff is even taxed from $0.01
now
Harsh
i wonder how they managed to make the f75 so cheap
i’ve seen people in taiwan get it for even $20
I can see how
Poor board quality, and making everything in china
It’s meh
idk man you can’t ask for cnc aluminum case for such price
Yeah you are right
latency based on reviews is also not an issue
around 5ms wired, 7ms 2.4, 13ms~ bt
the pcb is unfortunaly north facing
weight 996g
hefty for 75% plastic keyboard
am not sure if this is the right place but i got a 2k budget and this is what i got, probably using the fb marketplace and desk will be ikea mod, thoughts
and yes am a noob, i know a good few about pc hardware but not periphs
i’d suggest not buying logitech speakers once you get decent headphones
Epomaker?
collab, yes.
Apex pro tkl for me is kinda waste
Based on that board isn’t hot swappable
But if you arent gonna mod/switch anything, you good
Epomaker x leobog? I don’t recognize it
am very much a noob
aulastar x epomaker
if you guys could help me complie a list
Looks fantastic
that would be awesome
Sure
What are you looking for, and in what price range
Here’s the Epomaker th80 pro, and a coffee cat keycaps
Looks so good imo
yes, that’s the $20-30 board from taobao
Thats nice asf
where do you live
also, i would suggest getting vaxee, lamzu, darmoshark, g.wolves instead of gpx unless you’re really looking for the shape of the mouse
there are similiar shaped mice like gpx though
Monitor : Innocn 27G1S + Innocn 32M2V
Headphones : Sennheiser HD560S for over ear or KSC75 or even Porta Pros
Speakers : Edifier MR4.
Mic : Razer Seiren Mini, Samson Go or Q2U ( best one ).
Controller: Xbox Elite Series controller good ( better supported on PC compared to PS5 ).
Keyboard: Wooting 60HE or 80HE.
Mouse: Deathadder V3
Monitor arms: cheapest you can find
Mic arm: cheapest you can find
Mousepad: there is much better one but I forgor
someone made me thies is this valid
Wooting if you want the hall effect, customizable actuation point.
Deathadder meh
Mousepad LGG saturn, or some decent hein/artisan clone, ltt mousepad is also decent for the price
the rest of the list is fine
how can it be better
the rest of it is good
a different keyboard if you don’t care about hall effect
bro how braindead can you be
dav3 is good
not for the price
literally whole budget lineup am5 motherboards from asus suck and are overpriced, cheaped out vrms
MR4 is alright but I would fork out the extra for the 1280DB pair when they hit $120 on amazon
competition has cheaper yet better vrms on their
same* with darmoshark
blah blah blah
spent under $55 on a cablemodded viper 8k
blah blah blah
more like cannot accepts facts
62g
every company has their shit
m3 is lighter
m3s even lighter
idk what lightweight argument ru tryna pull up
sounds like another pleb that got caught in the marketting 8k bias
optimum watcher
anything that can't do at least 2khz is shit
i watched like two optium tech videos wfrom which one was he running 4090 on sfx 550w psus

it’s nice to have but, it’s kinda gimmicky
what’s more important tbh is overall input lag

what a waste of time tbh

apart from eating your cpu more
which is a con

it hardly does shit to a decent cpu
112mb
more like 300mb’ish
overall under 250
all of this for… 0. ms?
congrats you just answered your own question
I never paid attention to their marketing
it was recommended
uh, but why
when there r better options
also, isn’t dav3 wired?
wired is okay but, in the same price category you can get wireless
good cable wired > wireless
I'm a lefty
m3s weights less even with the battery
this u bro?

wireless
Wireless the goat mouse
I've got the peak wired experience

damn another 0.001 second lower latency
crazy right?
@patent belfry I wake up oiling
nah I just don't have to worry about battery + wired 8k is ez to find
He actually has too much money
the battery on the m3 mice last forever
2 weeks
i haven’t even charged mine since i got my second unit
damn, so dense
sick flip
shit, bad practices
epomaker sucks
same reason I hate asus and hewlett-packard
i miss evga, prolly the least niche one
good customer support, one of the first to apply for transferable warrianties
i don’t care
<@&750150305383186585> encouraging people to troll
rule 4
read
“i have the ability to unban you from kbd, thats where all these people are from”
“we’ve been trolling you”
nah, it’s not just about me but, with your temper to “troll” me you can possibly mislead other people
troll me in the dms

just like you’ve never sent me the server link, then calling me schizo
how can one be sure?
in that statement it sounds like you’ve encouraged your friends in your server to troll me
when all your sentences are sarcastic towards me how can one be possibly sure?
even if you didn’t. refer to rule 4 again
uh? i wouldn’t be so closed off if you wouldn’t constantly be sarcastic towards me.
the second i called topre meh you turned hostile

they ask for keyboard;
you give them something way too off their budget
that’s their preference tbh…
no matter how good/bad topre it’s not an option when they state a certain budget point they can’t exceed or don’t want to. that is their preference.
And if you call those budget offrerings shitty that is a bad take. they’re certainly not unusable
nor bad
Bad for you. Not for them.
You’re forcing your preference to their preference what i can say?
that’s literally what you’re doing by exceeding their budget
uh, you’re the one who’s trolling me
shitspoting trash memes on me
nonesense arguments
Man, i recommend something to someone and you trash at without a clear reason other than intention to troll me
you still haven’t even explained why is the f75 so “badddd”

cheap asf, bad company, better value to be found in membrane boards
didn’t you say goodbye
hi
i’m not even going to answer to this clearly a bait
like i would
clearly 📠 you mean

where do you find space invaders
a space invaders build sounds fun
tactile?
ew
mx is basic bitch yeah
hard
how many?
damn
do they sound better in a hollow or dense case
hm
plastic does have quite a charm
you using a converter?
it's got the same connector as my m0116
what's the connector called
yea
well, what's left of it
it's in a bucket
harvested for switches
sckm oranges
they're not in the best condition and are sort of inconsistent but they're fine to me for now
not in the best condition as in I melted the bottom housing of a couple switches with my iron by accident
ooops
Din5 is big balls
Has Anyone heard/bought from finalkeystudio?
Are there any good keyboards full size keyboards (104/105 keys) that also have a dual row enter key?
Developer pain is real here in finding any standard layout and dimension besides some logitech business series keyboards :/
I'ma shelcha alai
don't do me like that diakimeko
you know I'm sensitive
Nashnash Masriah
if you mean iso then keychron has it, look for q6/q5 iso
Thanks, it's specifically the K10/Q6 PRO versions
Keychron ISO/JIS mechanical keyboard Collection comes with the UK and Nordic and Japan layout.
I would discourage you to get K series, I personally had one and it was quite bad, but the Q and V series are pretty good
any iso realforce
you can get cheap jis ones from buyee
any recommendations for good keyboard for under 40$? tkl or full layout and some quiet switches. I live in croatia so there is not as much "budget" brands as in some other counries
countries*
gmk87 maybe, with some silent switches
cant think of much cheap tkl/full keyboard
or akko
had some good experience wth akko 5108, but i think it's above 40$ budget
its prob cheaper on aliexpress
checked, it's closer to 100$ 😦
questionable option, but i had a chance to use on of this for a bit and while full plastic with nothing outstanding - it wasn't terrible either:
https://aliexpress.ru/item/1005004520091398.html
its around 30usd on taobao, but idk the shipping for it
its an alright brand, but akko is better if they can get it
yea, sure, i'd prefer akko too
K500 is just a good bang for a buck in my opinion
but layout isn't for everyone
my current board, built on GK108S with Kailh Speed Copper switches :3
I know this isn’t a keyboard thing, but I’m curious if anyone has any suggestions for a mouse for me. I REALLY like the G502 Hero, but I wish it was lighter.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a mouse with a similar layout that’s lighter? Don’t care about RGB, but really like how it has the forward and back buttons on both the top and the side as well as the extra thumb button on the side.
the lightest g502 shape rn is the glorious model i
thanks 🙂
I’ve just discovered that the g502 x exists and is 50ish grams lighter than the hero but otherwise the same. Planning to go with that. Thanks!
keychron q6
they do not have 2 row high enter key
Plus I need proper invoicing and stuff and it seems getting them is a bit sus for our tax authority 😄
what abt keychron
yeah those are fine, though european layout is sold out for the time being
mm
Keychron Q6 Pro is a full metal QMK/VIA wireless mechanical keyboard. Customize any key or create macro commands through VIA software as usual, and connect the Q6 Pro with up to 3 devices through Bluetooth for seamless multitasking across Mac, Windows, and Linux. The Q6 Pro ISO comes with UK, German, Nordic, Swiss, French, and Spanish layouts.
or you mean DE layout?
though, i’d maybe not pay $210 for a keychron
it’s not very easy to find decent 100% keyboards
that are more widely available
do u mean ISO enter ?
YES
hmm, maybe i'm looking for a US layout actually
the enter is called iso enter..
there are a bunch of different iso layouts
but the common thing with iso is the enter
also keychron site has no big images to enlarge to actually see the full key layout lol 😄
UK layout is almost what I need, but yeah, I think i'm used to the plain US layout key wose
but really... how hard is it to make a classic ISO keyboard for fricks sake 😄
I'm using Logitech K540 right now, frankly so far one of the best keyboards I found 😄
but membrane switches, so it's not as great for typing
yeah... and become Dan 😄
the wan show Dan
I think he had a literal layer of keyboards
i might be wrong
looking for keyboard & mice recs.
currently have a ducky one (cherry brown switches) and a razer mamba
keyboard wants: full sized, tactile switches, backlit but ambivalent about RGB,
I'm not a huge fan of razer anymore - all of the ones I get seem to have issues, but I've been using a razer mouse since the 2000s so I'm not sure what else is out there
for mices, check vaxee, lamzu, darmoshark, g.wolves
not avaliable in my country, they dont have to be some uber good keybaord
oh, also I'm based in Canada - so something available here would be useful! lots of places don't ship cross border
sure!
yo, is there a keyboard guide or anything? nothing in pinned messages. looking to replace my Leopold FC750R
i lubed all the Cherry red silent switches on it then a week later it got liquid damaged and i attempted to repair it but failed
if you wanna stay with razer the deathadder v3 is great although niche
tbh idrk any good mice outside of the viper 8k and dav3
but pulsar seems fine
the main issue I've had with razer is the scroll wheel doesn't work properly and it also develops a squeak
hm, mine is fine
stiff at first but when it was broken in it was smooth
some advice for mice in general is to avoid anything that is wired with a thick cable and anything heavy (over 80g)
although there is exception as some mice can be modded to use a lot thinner cable
i've had 2 that squeak now! and probably 3 when I scroll it'll have inputs of opposite directions
my viper 8k uses an aftermarket cable and it's nice if you don't wanna worry about using a cable bungee
odd
is it always opposite
yeah, like i'll be scrolling down and there will be random inputs to scroll back up
even if it's just 1 notch
guessing a rotary encoder issue
it's certainly not ideal!
https://rndkbd.com/collections/keyboard-kits-cases/products/boston-120-compact-keyboard-kit
Looks like an interesting layout but so expensive...
sub optimal even
Could someone take a gander though my Github Page and give me some thoughts and opinions? Maybe some stuff I could add or change? I guess since I am in this channels, the Keyboard portion would be the main focus.
[“Here you will get access to a bunch of in depth information on peripherals and some information of PC builds.”]
I believe I asked about keyboards before here, but would the keychron v1 still be a good keyboard? Or is there a better keyboard for this price range (probably $50-75, roughly, going over within $10-15 is fine I would say, but not exactly preferable)? I wanna say I was suggested it before, I am in the us, so you can take that into consideration if it effects anything
Or I thought the v1 was about $75, from keychron website it’s $85 when it isn’t on sale
@patent belfry
Not bad tbh
Plugged it to the computer, everything works
Just waiting for the switches & keycaps to arrive
Doesn't epomaker rip off other designs or something? They are despised on r/mk apparently
Damn that side profile is
Fucking entry level pricing on these designs are amazing
I hope it sounds and feels as good as it looks
I swear, I feel as though qwertykeys has a major influence on design and pricing, they have proven repeatedly that you can have both cheap and quality design on mechs. Good design doesn't have to cost a small fortune.
The QK65/v2, the Neo65... all stellar boards for an affordable price. You can buy shittier gaming branded mechs for the cost of those
I'm not saying they had a hand in it, I'm just saying I feel like they influence it indirectly. I haven't bought a $400+ board since my Link65 and it's been a great board.
How so?
I only own 5 boards, 2 of which haven't come yet. Link65, Space65r3, Minerva, Bauer Lite, Salvation
I've not seen any issues on OL boards yet, and any that do I know OL and qwertykeys fix it fast.
Which is great
Also, not saying $400 boards suck, but I just appreciate that you can get a good board now at a more affordable price these days.
I'm excited for the Bauer Lite tbh, very interested in seeing how their injection molded ABS case fairs, especially with no weight for it (yet).
Hm, maybe i'm tired, what is alps again?
Oic, seen those, never knew that's what they were called haha
I would like to see more hall effect pcb options and switches as well
Also, thought that it was odd that OT didn't make the Lite pcb have any perkey and/or down/sidefiring RGB with the translucent cases. Told them if they offered it separately, it would be an instant buy for some of us
I think I know the picture you're thinking of
chonky boi
hey so i got a corsair k60 rgb pro and i need key caps for it i dont wanna pay the OEM tax from corsair its a cherry keyboard so im asumming if i can find black cherry key caps for a 100 % keyboard they should work right
and im having trouble finding even a key cap set for a 100 % keyboard for cherry switches and this is purely because i have this keyboard lying around and i intend to sell it after its just missing keycaps
and the black corsair ones arent even available and i refuse to pay 70 dollars for key caps
unless i absolutely have to
would these work
the brand name alone has linus would buy this all over it
I am trying to decide between two silent switches for my GMMK2. Deciding between the Epomaker Sea Salt Silent and the AKKO Fairy. Any suggestions between the two?
you are very likely to run into interferences with north facing led sockets/switches and cherry profile. that’s why they probably sell oem keycaps because, cherry profile keycaps + cherry switches + north facing is a no-go. i’d prolly check aliexpress and buy one of those $20 subdye keycaps with xda/koa/moa/mda profile
i’d personally get the akko fairy’s as they’re ever so slighly more silent, if you’re looking for that
The Keycaps I used are Aura V2 Keycaps.
mmm ok
Just saying, I got my keyboard from AliExpress for £10 and it is a Blue Switch Mechanical keyboard that looks really nice and has been working for nearly a year now
Ya heard it here first. AliExpress is the way to go
Real
ello i have a Steelseries Apex pro TKL can i do any upgrades to it?
lube the stabilizers
tape mod probably
if you have the 2023 version PE foam mod
but, lubing or replacing + lubing the stabs is the first upgrade id do personally
Former owner of Apex pro TKL 2023 edition, be careful what you do to the back of the PCB.
In fact, I try to avoid opening it up altogether
You aren’t doing anything with the switches and there’s no room for any sort of dampener maybe one layer of PE foam, and even if you do, you have to punch a bunch of holes into the foam for it to even mount
At most
Don’t bother, a desk Mat is more likely to do more than any sort of internal work.
Man….its almost like that’s what I wanted to say, but diddnt have the balls to
Must be my wallet coping from that shitty keyboard
It’s more like buy right then get FOMOed into buying “right” multiple times or buy twice
Should I go prebuilt or barebone for a keyboard? If I go keychron v1 (I’m in the us, so if that is necessary information, I’m gonna give it)
Because apparently it’s a really good brand and keyboard, but someone suggested I go barebone
For $20 you get a full set meanwhile $20 won’t even cover a fraction of whatever after market switches you get
They do that intentionally
Yeah, although idk if i should choose that option or not
That’s up to you there’s a lot of subjectivity here
It’s about a $10 difference
What would be the big advantages of having a knob? So I can get an idea of if I should get it or not
And the advantages of not having the knob
You know about via right?
Not really
Ok guess not, it’s firmware keychrons come with to remap any key to anything
I’m pretty clueless with keyboard related stuff
And you can have any sort of layers you want, like my volume is Fn (Layer 1) up and down arrows
If want a knob to tune, volume get a knob, otherwise anything else on your keyboard can do volume
Ahh ok, so I would probably save the money than, as I don’t see the volume knob being used as much by me
Because I don’t really adjust my volume much
It’s a personal aesthetic choice
Alright, thanks for the advice
so a bit of some context here, this is my mechanical keyboard and this is a wireless keyboard, but i'm not a fan of the wireless. when i'm using it with wire, there's this annoying charging indicator and it disrupts the whole flow of the RGB, this keyboard doesn't come with any firmware drivers nor this is a separate light to cover it with black electrical tape. could there be a way to make my own firmware to remove this entirely or is there anyway i can remove this? thank you so much in advance!
what is the kbd
This cheap A4Tech compact keyboard feels so stiff
gmk67 or rakk hann? Looking for a keyboard gasket around 2-2.5k
hello hello Keyboards, im on the lookout for something new.
realistically the only requirements I have are
- MX Brown (or equivalent. I'd be completely fine with something stiffer/heavier) But that feel and sound profile is mandatory
- full size, so numberpad please :)))
- 200usd ish price point. (300 AUD)
per key rgb is not something that will make or break it, just plain white or blue LED is perfectly fine by me.
media keys would be a nice to have but again, not essential
So i cant really do anything to my keyboard?
Any 80% cases recommendations?
Realforce
hello, i've been recently looking at the nuphy air 75v2 (low profile, looks clean and from what I saw it was the best option for the price) but i've seen people wait 3-4 weeks for it. I was wondering if there was any other low profile keyboard thats under 120 euros that I should look into to? i've looked at the lofree flow and the keychron k3 pro (which I did ruled out because honestly I dont like the way it looks). Should I look at building my own?
Does it rlly matter that much if I get AliExpress parts for my keyboard rather than branded ones
brown or red switches are better for normal use/gaming
What are the best sounding ones? I’m looking for quiet ones
Like idk how to describe it
Like buttery in a way
Idk what the word is
I don’t want them to be thocky
But does it make that much difference? Other than sound I mean
creamy?
yeah actually
if you want stock switches without having to lube them, check wuque’s offrering, they have one of the best pre-lube applications
or gateron yellows
x47
pretty sure there are more creamy switches if you’re looking for that, prolly even for cheaper but, those are good
gat yellows may have some lube leakage issues from the housings
from my experience
they are/were good for the price
there are just too many switches to pick from
just use whatever feels the best
braindead terminology
onomatopoeia to describe sound is as braindead as you can get
first of all what the fuck is creamy
sorry for not religiously watching hipyo and not knowing every dumbfuck term to describe sound
use terms like high pitched, low pitched, loud, quiet, you can say the case makes it sound hollow or not hollow, etc
higher pitch sound, feeling the sound comes from the housing is what you hear in the most part on a “creamy switch”
hard to describe-
speak english
it'd be easier describe if you used terms that weren't made up
there's a reason why @patent belfry filtered all those terms in kbd
man, if you do, recommend him a better switches then
that’s a thocky switch
he prolly doesn’t even know what that means ._.
welp i’m ou-

when you don't gotta worry about housing + pcb switches do matter
keyfeel is pretty damn important
i mean if you like vintagies specify them, average person won’t assume you mean those
yeah no
(*)
mx switches suck tbh
tons of shit switches that reddit shills
gotta dive down a whole rabbit hole to find good shit
man you don’t respect people’s opinions @patent belfry
🤡
use alps, life good
i’ve not the one who asked
most complicated thing you'll have to do is soldering
yeah…
do i care?
anyone who wants understandable information cares
and not some terms made up by toddlers
also, saying that switches don’t do much difference on boards is misinformation. on less decent boards the difference is quite notable

recommending everyone $200 boards because you like topre is even more hilarous
straight up laughable
recommend a better $30 board then
i asked you the question 5 times already
$5 dell membrane
better keyfeel than your dogshit $30 keyboard
do i care about your kdb server?
also the fact you called me dick before
what are you then?
you sent me the server link and deleted it for some reasona and pretented you didn’t and called me schizo mmm?
look up it says gullible on the ceiling
someone stole my lungs, but can confirm it says gullible on the ceiling
@patent belfry do yk any 60% space invader pcbs
bait.
space invader?
preferably hhkb layout compatible
switch types
ah
is that the "rip old keyboards apart for switches" type of switches
I just want a pcb and the stabs
realistically you'd mostly do it with mx
the original cases sound the best a lot of times for other switches
but, fr recommend a better $30 keyboards guys
alt13
: ‘
oof
an extra 20 bucks aint hard to earn
you never answer because you’re clearly clueless to find a $30 board, especally with a knob
that’s brand new
imagine not already having a knob
aight
oh hey its alas
damn guys, it’s for people on low budget are ya dense
or extra dense
stop beibg poor
ffs
beg for another 20 bucks on the side of the road god damn
hm
you’re well over 3 weeks of provoking me
I'll try doing a SI build sometime later this year
is that also a sign of asperers
sure sure
have you slept well king
definitely not
ew tkl
thocky keyboard
behaving like that after day of arguing is clearly not being nice
more like trying to spark another pointless argument
I need clicky/tactile switches
anyone know of silent chocs?
yeah, you don’t care after being called out
aight
nobody does
tbh provoking pointlessly may be a sign of you having a mental illness
especally when you act that childishly
"pointlessly"
you say that when you dropped an absolutely stupid take
hurr durr 30 bucks for keyboard
dickriding some aliexpress clone garbage
solder together a 40% :D
because you keep shitting on it when i recommend it to someone on a tighter budget
I gamr on sckm oranges lmao

stop being poor
I've said it so many times
either that or find another hobby
yeah, tell that to other people
I will
do it you wont
wont will
bet
and the microchip? what if the flashing fails
switches, keycaps
also, not everyone has 3d printer nor will to 3 hours handwire
make a 40%
saves on switches and caps
very fast prototype turnaround (relatively)
man, not me they… 99% of people aren’t willing to do this
you don’t have to be in the hobby to get a decent cheap keyboard duh
man, then stop sparking up arguments
and shitting on the $30 board because it’s not good enough for you
ewaste/hidden gold
man, guy asked for non thocky switches and you gave him mx blacks. they are thocky indeed, then you dinky folds once again is a well reponse you say?
dinky do you not understand that if you have to stay within a $30 budget for a fucking keyboard then you've got bigger problems
are those blockers?
i had far more keyboards than that $30 one
wack
why do you think i had the infi75
getting your life together and making better decisions 🚫
getting into a money pit hobby ✅
i had monsgeek m1 recently aswell
I'm not talking about you
i spent over $500 on keyboard last 4-5 months
man i personally buy stuff, test them and write an opinion then sell them
mostly with 1440p panels, case fans and also keyboards and mice
damn smarter than dinky
another bait
have you tried any logitech keyboards?
mechanical
how many
same
tf
mine was most definitely not nice
g510 iirc
reds
inconsistent keyfeel, shit keycaps
okay, give me a similiar feature set to the f75 at $30 price range up to $40
decent and lubed stabilizers, hotswap sockets, gasket mount, a knob, no hollowness
similiar feature set.
please
mm
does it sound better, feel better than the f75 in comparision? or have any advantage besides the form factor and maybe availability?
cheap abs keycaps?
does not mean the stabs are good -_-
only argument you have lmfao
because you never kept up the convo once i asked the question
from which 2 times were who gives shit
don’t be poor
and
that’s more than twice as much than $30
does anyone actually use z for games
ah
i dont have z bound rn
working with this rn
i dont wanna put z on ctrl/space tho
maybe under f
qaz?
oh the 40?
nah this is my altoids gaming pad
/keyboard
thats 2 layers fwiw
not a single keyboard
esc is a layer tap for base2
thocky keyboard
whats 60 vs 50?
or ig 50 vs 40? idk
ah idve lumped it in with 40s tbh
gl to him lol
6.5%
if tact buttons/reset buttons a half switch
damn it didnt attach
idk
you’ll eat me up again once i recommend the keyboard to anyone
calling it dogshit
why do you let people pay more for a keyboard than they want
i mean… you’ve said your monitor is 1ms despite that being a simple marketting bias while arguing over keyboard latency
also, yup it’s thei choice. if they ask for $50 why do you recommend them something over 200% price what they asked for
you’re pushing your preference over their preference being saving money
is that understandable?
maybe for you money isn’t an issue for but other people it is
they may want to save, or spend on other stuff like better headset or mice
wym
for who
they ask for $30-50 keyboard for example, why don’t give them the best at that range
and not pushing their budget higher
they a s k
is a preference. they probably want to upgrade their ewaste dell/hp keyboard that they pulled from office pc set
🤓
maybe a really good membrane
show show
i recall him owning an oled?
two versions of the neo g9 ib oled and the neo
I have a very good memory
that middle switch is the mouse wheel button?
wait the encoder has one built in?
ye its kinda mushy tho tbh
pretty cool
well, even if that point breaks, i don’t recommend a $30 keyboard with someone that has much higher budget. typical lcds are capable of around 6ms gtg, 8ms~ overall on average
ye i need to an R2 of pcbs tho
wym
i routed some traces wrong
im like 70% sure i can make it work next time
yall i had stack of pmws and now i cant find em
i need to clean my deskh
nvm i found all but 2 lenses :/
i mean… you said neo g9 which is lcd..
g9 oled is oled well,
you didn’t even say it was oled
why did you delete the message
that’s in your fault not being specific
neo g9 certainly exists
there is no neo g9 oled as far as i know
tbh 0.03ms is also bias..
not speculation reality.
the processing delay alone is… more than that
30us
on the monitor
there are reviews
did you properly test it with apporiate equipment?
isn’t it better to be informed?
it’s kinda basic info
i had oled no need
i’d like a woled though
is that a roll all ready to go?
I speak from experience
anyways
make the drinking/smoking age 18 😭
ion wanna wait till 21
i had, have 27g850, 2x msi g273qpf, innocn 27g1s, vg27aq, some vg 1080p monitor, some other panels, the oled was some 27’ df, not even on my desk i’d not call it i even had it but rather experienced it for a day
desk check? sec i have it on the other device

Alienware oled
can i join the wagon
@patent belfry rate
Do you think i take pictures of everything? Sec
unused o11d evo xl in the backround btw
gonna be my server case or smth ig
you should see the bottles
cba to return it
piss or tobacco
beer
oh
first g273qpf
speaking of alcohol man do I wanna try some japanese whisky once I can drink
I feel like this chat needs a reset. It's feeling pretty toxic! It's ok that there are varying levels of budgets/interests into keyboards. A $400 keyboard isn't for everyone. For example, I'm looking for something around $100 that is readily available and feels and sounds nice right from the box - I shouldn't be shamed for not wanting to spend triple that amount to build my own. Can I afford it? yes. Do I want to spend that much for something I'm lightly interested in? no
I'm just catching up
only pic from the vg27aq i had not even sure whichever one of those is the 850gpm uniformity shot or second qpf
is that enough?
fr
be nice...
setup pic when dinky
i don’t have rn tbh
I'm waiting bro
My Ducky and my Logitech
nope
buddy it's 7pm
does anyone have have recs on how to make my ducky more thocky*? are there mods I can do?
thocky keyboard
small fake cherry table, white desk mat 90x40cm, 27g1s, 4000d white case
thocky
is that enough
thoccalicious
thicc thocc goes the clocc
interference with cherry keycaps and specific switches
that’s about ut
and rgb.
nothing else really
oh interesting... I have cherry switches and the lights are north facing
which keycaps
whats north/south?
what about sideways
cherry switches + north facing + cherry keycaps is the bad combo
m0116 has some sideways switches
it decouples the speakers from the desk quite well too
These… 🤷♂️
that's different
mx mounts work when the caps are facing any direction
alps are bidirectional
they are oem
these are neumanns
meh, scrolled through all my photos i didn’t shot my setup
genelec when I have a few thousand to throw on the eggs 😭
thocky speakers
what are cherry keycaps? I assumed they were keycaps that fit onto cherry switches
profile
you have cherry, oem, xda, mda, moa, osa, sa, asa, or such
praise oem
mda best prolly
topre so thocky
KAT
worse cherry
or was it kam
sa is too tall
kam

loser
SA is too tall 🤓
move your hands up pleb
Cherry >
and who are you to decide that
thocky keyboard
cherry is aight but I use alps so I'm an oem meatrider
oh. I have scratched too deep!
literally just found out about hipyo yesterday
uh it is though, look at R1, row 5-6 keycaps
hipyo so thocky
may have given me false confidence that I can build myself
building is ez
my first build from the ground up was alps on a solder pcb
hipyo is like the linus of keyboards, except he's even more annoying and useless
oh
at least linus has benchmarks
hipyo just says thock and everyone creams
i mean....
that he can barely get right but thats apples to oranges
it does sound nice
real asf
flurples
you are referring to the physical row order
he is referring to the row profile
what do you think of chyrosran @patent belfry
sounds like a gigachad
he hates mx no?
chyros is an idiot
in a good or bad way
dsa looks fun
damn
tru
chyros is fun to watch , and i love it when he gets angry/annoyed
ok so if I build myself I need:
frame
pcb
switches
keycaps
foam things? lube?
anything else? I feel like it's not the easiest to source parts in Canada without paying stupid import fees, and I'd prefer to stay away from group buys
doesn't he have neon greens
i can assure you the anger isn't real
also having neons doesn't make someone an authority
yea ik that

this
i'm not referring to you
I cannot read chinese
agreed
R3 and R3
dinky delves deeper into keycap profiles for the first time 🥹
when i asked thoccober he didn’t know what moa/koa was
sounds shit
i meant okay.. koa but moa isn’t that unpopular
only aliexpress goblins know what that shit is bruh
$30 chinese keyboard profiles
kinda true
that looks old
true
koa is actually decently thick
can someone explain why people are obsessed with smaller keyboards? like 75% & smaller?
is it just small desk size?
style
dang i'll sell that for 40$ then
or the small desk issue
probably gonna give the other two away
or cheaper
and
for $20 keycaps not bad for not being 1.5mm
40s people when they see my 30s
sounds cool is it good
top and bottom switch id?

🤓
wait how small is it?
stagger tho
opinion?
space invaders?
wait wtf.. my video reached 1K views... it was like 100 views earlier today i think..
wait ya'll think I'm being fr?
i like it! but what about the case
fair enough
yea
what case
unfortunately the 6085 isn't skcm green
like the frame
(I don't know what I'm talking about, most of these are just random letters to me)
