Honestly it really does come down to preference and what you want. Full size? Southpaw? TKL? 65% What color(s) do you like (for keycaps and the frame)? What typing experience do you like? Light linears? Heavier tactiles? Annoying clickies?

Narrow it down and the keeb nerds can get you better recommendations for past and present offerings. But if you want something half decent, just grab an in-stock keychron model and look around for a keycap set that strikes your fancy. It'll likely be under $350ish.

I meant the key layout, most keyboards I see have big gaps in between the keys and also big keys, I have kinda short fingers and just prefer a more compact layout over a large one

the fucky problem is that you have to set your mouse in onboard first to use it and ofc you had to use it in ghub
