Yes, built in rather than sales tax on top.
in us you add it on after, in au we include it in the price on the shelf
GST is baked into the price so that's what Frog would pay.
Genuinely the best piece of legislation the Liberal party there ever pushed through.
agree
In Sweden our 25% tax is included in the displayed price
its in the EU generaly, not showing gst hst, sales tax is a typical north american thing
ya, I know.
it is because it is whole kailh switch tester
but out of all of these i think box and red are the best
Milky yellows
true
anyone know where i can get my hands on a set of ANSI layout keycaps that have the legends on the bottom of the keycaps like this? im looking at a V1 but i dont want to lose my backlit keys
why not normal yellow ones
which r better dt990 pros or dt770
you should ask audio channel
oh lol clicked wrong channel
Any good cherry réd mx keyboard
Alr
Oops
I was gonna ask if anyone knows what switches these are
Seen em heard and think they will go well for a friends project but I dunno what they are therefore I can’t recommend him them
wrong image 💀
They look a lil goofy but that dosent matter
It was an honest mistake bro I promise
first thing i thought was razer
They look like sumn razer would make
these
how are you?
im pretty good
nobody showed up so just me and the sub
sub?
substitute
oh
yeye
nothing new in terms of keyboards though
I do have a one off planned to get made soon if everything goes to plan
i am in love with the air75
buy it when you get a job
NuPhy boards are pretty lit
and weeb packaging is nice
yeah
what?
ohhh
thats cool
Generic Damascus Deskpad?
Not my picture
thats cool
hey thats what i said!!
Hello lux
hello gas
what’re you doing
Watching Titus play aliens
cool
finally found out my zoom tkl will be shipped in march
my cool epic mouse with kailh speed silvers
that’s kinda wicked
thanks fish :D i made it myself!
how did you do it?
i took apart the whole mouse, used a heat gun to get the solder off the fried switches (crappy 5 dollar mouse switches died in literally a day) then i found some wire lying around, soldered the traces of the pcb to my switches, then bada bing bada boom, mouse with keeb switches
oh and i just used a knife and the heat gun to manipulate the frame to fit the weird parts
its horrible lmao
the switches are fine, but the tracking on the mouse is smelly
i wanna try and redo it with a nicer mouse sometime in the future
yeah i think it’s a pretty good idea, it might also be better with low profile switches if possible
yeah that’ll be perfect
5000 mile button travel
Maybe so, but are you really being a keeb nerd if your mouse hasn't at least had a switch swap?
I see you are also a person of culture
Ikki gang
Mine is using Anubis tactiles
I've got a lot of love for my Zen Pond Ikki. I use NK creams for that little bit of OG feel
I'm looking for something that really has some high-pitched clack though to put in my keypad. Maybe I should try my old GPs, they were always hella high pitched.
I just have a aurora r2. If I could’ve I would’ve gotten zen pond
I have a spare batch of drop x invyr holy pandas and a spare NicePBT set so I just need a board but idk what board to get. Mainly looking for something both cheap (around $100) and either tkl or 60 wkl or 60hhkb
Love my Zen Pond. When it finally came in from CK mine had a long scratch on the bottom, they got with Wuque and shipped a new bottom out to me that week. Very nice considering it was a 1000 unit run
Ima get a d60 lite and when I have the money
Idk if this set would go well with a glossy black polycarbonate board
@gloomy lichen what do you think
It is really hard to go wrong with that color combo on NicePBT
So I will go with "absolutely gorgeous"
Yeah I already have the set so I might as well try that set on it before ordering another one
The colorway reminds me of how bad I missed out on the Persona 5 Metaverse cap set
This is the board I was talking about
Ooooh, oh yeah
Very reflective
It would probably look the best with a polycarbonate transparent keycap set
Maybe? I really like the simple dual tone colorway on glossy black
Especially if those caps are ABS because they'll shine up with some use
The polycarbonate black transparent caps come basically shined
The NicePBT keycaps are obviously pbt tho
I thought some NicePBT caps were ABS.
But I'm one of those degens who periodically has to talk himself out of acetone treating my ABS caps to maximum shine
After polishing a full set of PBT Akko caps with a dremel and car polish... that took weeks.
The only abs set I own is mt3 infinity war
Great set
I got it for $15 bucks
sdfhjkasdl;fkjasdl;kj
Not used either
I got two sets of MT3 caps in the first BOGO sale on Drop and I adore them, they're my daily drivers
I got my mt3 set when the marvel sets were on sale for $40 and I also had $25 off bc of the free drop ctrl I won
God that Christmas event on drop was crazy
I missed it and it still hurts
I won a skylight shine through set and a artifact shield cherry pbt wob set along with a signature series drop ctrl with holy pandas and a purple on black artifact shield cherry profile set. I ended up giving the shine through set to a friend and ended up replacing the pandas in the ctrl with gateron browns and gave the ctrl to my brother for Christmas. The wob set I don’t have a pic of tho
Drop then apologized for shipping the ctrl in a non standard packaging to save costs and gave me a $25 giftcard
I do like the high profile Ctrl but I understand it being a better gift for someone else
So far I've built... um...
I didn‘r know what to give him+ i consider myself enough of an enthusiast to not need a drop board but I still wanted the holy pandas so I took those
- Bakeneko65, NK Box Creams, Akko Blue Samurai caps
- Ikki68, NK Creams, MT3 Camillo
- Galaxy75, Gat Browns, some random HyperX $25 crystal caps
- Custom DZ60v3 soldered with Akko Matcha Greens and pink caps
- Akko ACR98, pink switches, white shinethrough caps, honestly don't remember who by
- GK61S, Glorious Pandas, Mars Green caps
- Realistically probably a few others I've forgotten
All switches lubed, all stabs modded, all boards foamed and otherwise optimized
I even came up with a number of specialty revisions to the Espi/Holee mods that I didn't share with the community because they weren't consistent enough but make perfect, unticking stabs when they're done right.
I’ve only built 2
Yeah but you've built good boards
I started with some HyperX trash mech that I kludged mods into, then hopped over to a Glorious GMMK TKL and ended up filling it with Flex Seal
its 3:15 in the morning so gn
Lol gn
do you guys think i should buy red or yellow i mean from gateron pro series
red ones feel better for typing like bottom out but black ones feel better for gaming but too heavy bottom out
it's only a matter of preference
true well idk trying to find something between them
like actuation around 50 and bottom out around 60
Buy either and just spring swap
milky yellows
What r the best brown switch keyboards on amazon uk for under £80
why swap springs if you can already get them with right springs
actually i have decided to get milky yellow pro
<3
i hope i will like them not sure yet but i hear a ton of people like them and they are apperantly between red and black according to resistance of their springs
also i was surprised they were quite cheap
i hate it that i have to pay for shipping as much as switches
like red are a bit too soft for gaming and black feel a little too heavy at bottom out
It depends on the lube but I like letting it set for an 1hr to 1hr30 but it depends
What lube u using
Than probably like 45mins to an 1hr to let it set that recoat it
👍🏻

A couple years
Don’t listen to whatever OhZip said
Get yellows
Good mid way
ipad
amazon does not scale well to ipad
True
is that USD? that price plus shipping is real expensive for an lk67
@chrome raft
Yea usd
I wouldn't get any razer mouse
people seem to like the new $280 one
i have order milky yellow pro earlier today
i hope they will be good
G502
g203 if you're looking for a budget mouse
i agree i have used g203 and g305 for years
only issue i see in them that plastic gets shiny easily
Do you know if the k70 pro hot swappable?
it is not
pretty mid
If you’re looking for something like this
gmk67 or keychron v2 are options
Xtrfy m42
Xtrfy mz1
I personally use a vaxee np-01s
Epomaker th66 + Cut standoffs + Tape on back of PCB and inside case + Included foam, And lastly Salmon tactiles from kinetic labs
What does that equal? Nice thocky sound
tap tap im on my colemak
i might get rid of my qwerty entirely, feels like a crutch
and it makes my brain hurt using both
Depends, is weight important to you, do you prefer an ambi shape or ergo, wireless or wired
i like my basilisk ultimate v2, but in retrospect i would not buy it again since it has less features than similarly priced products and razers software is a pain in the ass
i want a g203 when i get a pc
feels a little unnatural for me
Was a little odd switching from a basilisk to a rvu
but my experience with razer has been pleasant, wish I could turn off the rgb without downloading the software though
a what?
razer viper ultimate
I recently got new key caps for my old logitech g910 orion spark
it had the annoying square keycaps
on it
man why is it so hard to find anyone selling fullsize boards
because no one needs full size boards that much
yeah the demand isn't really there
how good are cannonkey lavenders
most people just buy cheapoards and forget about it
i found 61 of them for 25 canadian
wtf is that
5 pin DIN plug
probably running the AT protocol
adapters from that to ps2 are pretty cheap btw
Nice
or you can get something more expensive
which you can put a custom fw on
to make it reprogrammable etc
Rate my keyboard it was $60 I built it myself
what part did you build?
i replaced all the swiches ,keycaps and filled the base with epoxy
a lot of pepole dont like the clickys but i personally like the light tactile bump they add compared to the pervious black liner swiches and i dont use the back light often as it makes the keycaps a space gray color wich aint it for me
does anyone know how long it usually takes candykeys to usually ship a product within eu
it does say that is usually takes or could take up to a couple of weeks but this is pretty vague
its supposed to vague because its unpredictable
amazon always ships in 4 days and caseking in 8 days
at least they did to me but it does narrow it down 3-5 days to 11-14 days
milky yellows
i bought glorious pandas
but i didnt had money to buy 61
i only have 34 lol
ima put it to ones with the stabilisers
ha
it's pretty rng
from a few days to 2 weeks in my experience
Rate the keyboard
i actually believe i had almost exactly the same keyboard several years ago
i actually kind of like these low profiled ones
What about that is unnecessary
What in the world...i have so many questions
Alright 1u \ with ansi enter, that's rare
sounds like you want some tactile switches
Nice, i made my own off aliexpress for about 60 (tester68, knockoff holy pandas which i lubed, pretty cheap keycaps)
i got switches from candykeys the next day
this was faster than shipping from our postal office in the country
LOl
skill issue
how is it a skill issue
if other boards work just fine
i have managed it
these switches are like so creamy
not knowing is a skill issue unto itself
Who said i do not know
If it does not happen on other ones
Never happened to me when trying to changr seitches on keychron
Milky switches are weird on one hand they are very creamy but on other hand they feel mushy like i spilled honey on thrm
do you have any valid arguments that support it
or do you just use cliche references
L
what board?
can you loosen the screws on the plate pcb assembly for me please
maybe tomorrow it is late but then i have to take it apart again right
sleep well
been reassembling it today for 4 or 5 hours
i pulled each switch out 4 or 5 times and put it back in
and then never seem to sit well
i tried putting them into my redragon and they sit well
but every switch i put in keychron has an issue
I think the pcb/plate assembly is wrong
I think you might just have bad luck
or aren’t pushing in far enough LOL
i used both hands i was standing i had to push so hard
Or the machining of the plate is borderline too small to fit those switches properly
i pushed so hard i heard cracking
people told me they have the same one
akko ones just kept popping in and now but milky barely fit
i have had more difficulties with this keyboard that building a pc and rebuilding whole room
by far the hardest thing i ever did nothing ever works fine

epic pcb crack
new dyesub pbt
does anyone have suggestions for a good wireless mechanical keyboard that I can use in between windows and Mac?
looking for 75% size or 65%
keychron k2 pro
some gaming keyboards are decent for its price like redragon and rk but some like logitech and razer are far too expensive
like comparing razer to sennheiser you just pay for marketing and rgb
I wanted to buy a good keyboard with cherry mx brown switches can you guys recommend me something in a full length
With a puller like that I can see why
Léopold
lol
yeah the puller did me no favors lmao
the silver switches are divine tho
idk how i lived with those kailh greens for so long
even the gateron blues that the board came with
good lord im never going back to clicky switches
what type of keyboard is that one
It's one I'm designing and making.
It's split column-stagger 30-key
I use it for coding and writing. It works poorly for gaming, so I have a separate one for that.
my guy I'd unironically buy that
glarses:
V5?
yeah thats a Q5. the V5 has the clear plastic
Q5
milky yellows
fitting for you
is there a higher end keyboard thats more along the lines of the higround base 65 (similar layout and footprint)
im looking at the keychron k6 pro with the aluminum frame, but idk if those are compatible with TTC switches, id assume they would be but im not certain
if that gives you where i am in price point
yup, thats the idea
i really like the feel of the TTC's in the higround, i just miss having a metal frame and that more premium feel
what did you have before that makes you miss it?
i had a custom built poker 3 with MX Blacks but the mini usb connector broke, so i got the higround because it had the TTCs and it was cheap enough to hold me over until i could build another
mx blacks are lit
let me see what I can find, are you cool with something a little more expensive?
im cool with whatever as long as its got the 68 key layout
so glad i got arrow keys back, makes illustrator so much more usable
yeah ive had it for years
i think i built it back in 2018 or 2019
just want another board to put my Serika 2s to use since they look awful on the higround, the cream color case just doesnt hit like a black case would
bakeneko65 would be something i would look at
serika is pretty lit, nice set
oooo i like it, does it come with a pcb and plate? or just the case?
it comes with everything but switches and keycaps
and i already have caps, so i just need switches, lube, and foam?
bakeneko already sounds fine stock, wouldn't suggest putting foam in it
doesn't have much space anyway lol
so just switches and lube
i do like it, just dont like the fact that its a 67 key, i really like having a right ctrl key
?
ah
blockerless 65%
you can rebind the keys btw, if it's more of an aesthetics thing
given i do really like how the bakeneko looks
i could just rebind the alt and fn to fn and ctrl
thats the point
In this keyboard video I try the Wooting 60HE gaming keyboard and test it to see if it really is the best gaming keyboard...

I’m gonna throw up
because apparently more tactility is objectively better and a light tactile doesn't deserve to exist obviously
but remember preference is king yup
rip topre
The problem with them specifically is that its not tactile, not even the slightest bit
Its just a more scratchy red

i believe people who hate them are just gatekeeping because of their own insecurities and tunnel visions
they have objectively less tactility but tactility itself is subjective
if brown switches felt like white switches i believe they would have right amount of tactility
but spring resistance is completely a preference like live and let live right
Is the Wooting really the next cheater keyboard? Let's find out!

E...
are gmmk’s worth the money? been looking into getting a new keyboard
Glarses funny man hate them. Internet hate them too
I haven’t actually tried them I’d like to
Glarses was memeing
some people took it as unironic though
Codename: The Dirty Pandas, also known by fellow degenerates as the Holy Sh!ts (which is wrong btw), as well as the Sh!t pandas. I went on a long and expensive journey to see if these switches can finally make the always memed browns a true end game switch.
Affiliate Sponsors:
KBDfans:
KBDfans does not offer discounts, unfortunately, but you ...
they never provide a reason why they hate them they just use pop references like sheep
i guess red blue brown by cherry are so common almost on any displayed keyboard in mall
i like cherry mx brown more than majority of switches for this price
but they are far from perfect but i doubt you can go wrong with them for the low price
i have the v1 gmmk tkl and it is definitely not worth it, pingy as hell and worse than other kbs at the price, shouldve done my research when i bought it
they seem to be a little angled is this nromal
they seem to sit well
they sit well on akko
but on yellow they are not straight
looks fine to me lol
it looks like a millimeter angle not parallel it looks fine to me but i do notice a little difference and a lot of people keep telling me if fucked up and complain a trash build
what kind of toxic ass servers are you in
in one server they told me to kym because i use trash v3 version with knob
you need to clean out some servers bud
i noticed a lot of people with insecurities who try to gatekeep
I don’t like the knob v3 (I don’t think anyone does) but I’m not weird about it
i got v3 instead of v1 because it is more parallel and symmetrical and if you get knob function keys are closer together
if it makes you happy
i say live and let live each person should use what they like
but idk why it bothers people so much i like it a lot better
does anyone like 75%?
i like 75% and 80% the most
most people prefer tkl
i wanted to get 75% but keychron only had 80%
hard to get a good looking 75%
i like rk68 the most
only upcoming one I’m interested in is magnus75
but it sounds like ass because of the nav row
Maybe you’d like tofu65 2.0
this is why i am thinking of modding my rk68 and redragon
but i also like tkl a lot but really hate v1 but like v3
So you don’t like 75%
what kind do you like
or rather, exploded 75%
depends if arrows are parallel
I like any layout if it’s done right
i hate when arrows are moved down left
for tkl im thinking I get something custom made
maybe you’d like ortholinear lol
do you ahve any examples
yeah give me a sec
this is why i got knob version
see because of ugly positioning of function keys
you’d like tiger lite, it’s symmetrical where it counts
F13, 7u bottom row.
i really like ones that ahve straight keys you know w right above s
that are like a chessboard
so these?
that’s called an ortholinear
yes but not a split one
i was thinking of getting one
but idk if i would get used to typing
i also find alice so comfortable but i could never own it because of the look
also i hate mice taht are not for both hands
I like Alice
this is why i only use g203 and g305 always hated mice like g502 or naga
I love how Alice looks
I was planning on getting a qkrisu
which is Alice but with arrows
alice is so good for typing i always twist my hands together you know mouse and keyboard and them i hit them together
idk why keys not when i press on top side of keycap gets stuck a little on top but if i press it on bottom side of keycap it is smooth
?
if i press keycap on top edge it does not go in i feel like getting it stuck on top
but if i press it on bottom edge it goes smoothly
niice
what board
and switches
oh lord of hat
you’re into ortho and stuff like that rifhr
atm i am using v3 by keychron with gateron milky yellow switches
hmm
and i use keycaps from amazon
I have that set
I don’t know what you mean by that though
maybe it could be interference with the keycap though
you know when you type and you play games and you do not really put fingertips in the middle of the keycap right
some cheapo sets have wack molds
if i put them on top side of keycap i am not able to push them down smoothly but if i put fingertips on the very bottom of the keycap they go smoothly in but it works fine on other switches
i think it happens to all of them
but it is noticeable at very top and very bottom because they are on the edges
but for pressing it happens for all of them
so i am not sure if this is normal because of angle or am i doing something wrong
like if i push keycaps down but little towards north they stutter a little
but if i push them down and a little towards south they are very smooth
those are really small things but i wonder if i messed up something because in other servers people started complaining about smallest details and now i notice all of those
on one hand i am glad i got milky yellow pro they are buttery smooth and sound great but on other hand i regret a little not getting red while they are like honey they are a little slow for fast typing
finally joined a local keyboard group hoping i get my board this month for a meetup
since gmmk is bad, i need recommendations on new keyboards then. gonna be used for some programming and gaming, would like to have controllable rgb but it’s not essential
preferably with a mouse from the same brand that goes with it
why a mouse from the same brand
i would go for the original ibm model m and ball mouse then
keychron has keyboards and a few mice
no idea if their mice are good or not
just want to go together aesthetically i guess
right now i use a logitech g512 (i think) and it’s switches are starting to get worn out
rarely ever they have the same aesthetics
yeah i figured
Learn a skill and replace them
soldering is rather easy
I might just do that, should I try and replace them with the exact same switches or should i change them?
you can change them if you want
why is IBM model M apparently "GOAT" keyboard? (like LTT literally made a video with a title calling it the greatest keyboard of all time)
when you think about a vintage keyboard you think of the model m
See ya that's what I thought (i have a pet peeves about model m though) but the LTT video isn't the first time i heard ppl calling it great.
I think of vint cherry tbh
Is it just cuz it was so ubiquitous and popular or something?
Me is sun 6 UNIX layout
Beamspring has a cult like following
Sun keyboard, The feel itself isn't as good as spring keyboards even at the time but damn that layout is just 🤌
it’s a board with a lot of coverage
Ooh yes that's what I'm seeing
Beamspring is way overhyped
What was old school but clicky? I recall using something akin to clicky in the 90s
Really? Ya possibly. Clickies are somehow very familiar feel to me
I'm not sure if was cherry, what i recall had a very springy feel on the return
Click, sproing
I just despise the IBM keyboard cuz to me ibm ruined the ansi layout with their idiocy
Do you think it could have been an ALPS board?
Likely yes
80 for what?
80$ each
Jesus
mhm
If you dislike topre 55g I don’t think you’ll like neons
I don’t dislike the feel
Just the sound
topre feels nice I just hate how it sounds
I'm now settled on box hades jade, the heavy spring and clickbar sorry of imitate what i liked but without the annoying parts
How so?
don’t know how to describe it
you dont like it silenced unsilenced or both?
neither
bleach and a couple other people have showed me theirs and I don’t like it
i fw silenced topre
also got to try one irl some time ago and still no luck
weird
i enjoy the muffled aspect
this is still one of my favorite sound tests

yeah not doing it for me
to each their own tho
Did you go to canjam?
Oh unlucky
One of the Subtonic guys was there with storm and prototypes
wait when is it
all I’m seeing here is dates for sept 30 and oct 1
wait I missed it?
never used g502 how do they compare to g305 only ever used this one
i have used g203 and g305 for more than a decade
because i hear it is the most sold mouse
all people i know use it
people don't like trying new things ig
because it costs money
i usually tend to search for most ideal thing and when i find it i stick to get
consistency over novelty
but this is just me i like reliable things
g600 :D
my pc just had a seizure and now my scroll lock light indicator is flashing and wont go off
my keyboard is k63 corsair compact
welp my search for a premium 68 key 65% is still ongoing, ive found plenty 67 key ones though
i havent, im assuming its qmk?
im looking at it now
Yeah
so i can map that extra 4 keys to what i want correct?
ooo i can do a carbon fiber plate thats sick
yep
cf plate is pretty sick
the mounting points on both mounts are questionable but eh
i was thinking either oil kings or one of TTCs linears
i like TTC better just because of the spring weight
you can spring swap the oil kings if you’d like
i really like the TTC hearts
Titan Hearts?
either or, same switch different color
haven’t tried a higround board, doubt I’ll be impressed
i run one currently
the more premium one just looks like a standard gasket mount
it is, branding is what you get basically
tray mount one looks like a just another gh60
i can upload a sound test of my base65 from them
i have their TTC white flames in mine
ttc switches never fail
i got it because my poker finally died
pcbs here
the caps are cool I guess but I haven’t any need for them
if I wanted side print I’d be getting beige
the ortho full size?
that is so damn funny
im a fan of ttc switches, but lubed mx blacks are another option
since mx blacks are what i ran in my poker
yeah pretty sure
why not salvage the switches from the pok3r?
i do really like the sound of banana splits
i dont wanna go through the hassle of desoldering
it was my first build so i kinda just wanna retire it
encase it in resin
ive already put its original keycaps back on it, saving my serikas for my next build
but erm
honestly any linears will work
they all blend together at the end of the day
I so want to buy like a trillion keyboards
my next is probably qk80
yeah, just depends on certain tones
then getting something one off’ed
i like the husky's too, but i just like linears, i gotta have that silky smooth typing experience
I need to find someone I can give this keyboard to
so then I can get an excuse to get a different one
break the usb ports
dude
I'm paying for it
im trying to remember what those stabs are called
Durocks?
thank you
yeah don’t buy those
is there better?
@glossy sandal
wassup
hello gas
Hi
im trying to find screw ins for the tofu
thats what that pcb takes from what i read
or plate i may just be a little dumb
ive only built one board and it was years ago and my higround makes it sound like im typing on a bag of lays
clip ins go into the screw holes on pcbs where screw ins would screw in
ah i see
But erm
TX 1.2mm, 6.25u
they only need lube tbh, and if they’re not straight you can balance them super easy
1.2T 6.25u?
mhm
got it
the aesthetics are really important to me too, which i know switches arent really ever seen, so i was thinking the titan hearts because theyre just the ttc hearts but black
and i think all blacked out with the serikas and cf plate would look super good
just gonna for sure relube them because factory lube on these higround switches is inconsistent
ttc switches on cf aren’t something I don’t see often though
curious how it would turn out
gonna be unique
and if it doesnt work ill just run banana splits
i wonder how the TTCs would sound lubed and filmed
i dont think anybody has done those like that
Mouse sensor orientation is key to instinctive feeling aim, yet almost no one knows what it is or how to fix it. This video changes that!

we love razer 🫶
This cheap whatever it is from Amazon feels better
i mean, you bought a low profile keyboard with low profile switches so its gonna hit the bottom sooner
and then if it has rubber dampeners on the slider for silencing purposes then its gonna feel mushier
Razer need a keyboard that isn’t crap but in white
Mushier than the other one
that all falls in the water once you move arm, wrist and fingers at the same time
which you do
you should just use a shape that works better with your natural grip
the whole part when he moves his hand like a winshield whiper 💀
I know this is a silly thing but my I used to be able to continuously hold backspace on my keyboard and it would delete now I have to tap it how do I change it back??
Please @ me for the answer or pm
yup
wahahahahaha
average tech bro server
what an angry boi
very excited, probably building the 40 first

mainly because ive not bought the other parts i need for the others
40 is choc brown, 100 thinking of some silent tact if i like the brownies
dunno yet honestly
homies hurt my thumb
gonna also make a 4x10 ortho splittable
after all these done and dusted
revision of the bad thumb 40
er
hm?
it was actually a bit far
Colemak dh, homies on upside down F/J
homers
Colemak DH gang
Niiiiice
Sadly I can no longer use regular Colemak DH, dont have enough keys on my keyboard anymore. Only have 24 keys for my pointy fingers
Oh I got a new pic now
:o
is it a 2 controller split? or something else?
Yeah, 2 controllers and wireless
Its meant to be completely wireless
But battery broke on the left one, havent bothered fixing it
Im trying to replace the left one with a mirrored version of the right one. I just dont have all the components yet
The right one works correctly at least, I just havent gotten properly used to it yet
Not much. You just use a nicenano instead of a ProMicro, and they have the same footprint so no change there
And also you add a battery that you connect to GND and RAW pins
Oh and you gotta use ZMK firmware instead of QMK
oh fr thats all you need to get the battery working? no circuits for it?
with nice nano
Nice Nano already has BT chip, antennae and charging circuit integrated
So yeah, pretty simple
rad
i saw that before! :o tho, do you not have a bottom plate?
where do you keep the battery?
The box under the palm
I haven't figured out what to put under it yet
Probably gonna use some thin foam
oof n!n is pm fp, ig no 100% with bt sadg
wait wut
that right side looks interesting
have you used those pins before
What do you mean by this?
Elite C has same footprint as ProMicro
extra pins tho
Yeah, it's not compatible with OLEDs without an adapter
huh? oleds should be fine i thought
If you mean the top pin on the nice Nano, it's not part of the footprint
It's just an optional header for connecting battery
i mean the pins on the bottom fo the elite-c
Those are for OLED displays
shouldnt be, they can be wired to the pins on the sides
sda, scl, vcc, gnd
on a pro micro at least
dunno about nn
Someone have some tips how to fix my key?? My "K" key just stopped working after just a 1 year.
just realized i need to solder over a hundred diodes and sockets for the 100 o.o
why do i keep getting vids recommended with keyboards in them
i dont play tetris anymore
its like they know
also [+] switch
I also got recommended that video
What's a good 60% gaming keyboard?
Das 400 bones seems a bit overkill
How do you like that sloped spacebar?
feels like a spacebar
flipped bar
Flipped is the only way
I just ordered some gateron blacks, and I can't wait for them to arrive. gonna put it on my gmmk compact barebones, which is gonna be my first custom.
here's the barebone I bought
can someone recommend me a 75% keyboard w/ red switches for less than 80 euro in the Netherlands
i was looking at keychron v1 but shipping cost
TH80 pro pretty hot keyboard
I can’t make it out
Brother that’s not the compact

That’s the TKL I think
it is? its the full size compact
its still called the compact
it said that on the site i bought it from
some norwegian site
might be wrong but its still a good kb
yeah
I was just making sure you were aware it wasn’t the 60% Compact
Incase that was what you were originally after
i thought all of them were compacts
it looks something like this
pre lubed stabilisers aswell
Yeah I believe that’s just a regular Full size board still a good board tho
Idk why some people don’t like glorious boards but I have a GMMK compact 60% and I love it
Nice
it has like kinda thocc, kinda not.
it still sounds good
i dont like having a 60% anymore tho
its a bit too small
so im going with full size
Yeah my 60% feels a bit small so ima get a 75% eventually despite my small desk
i reccomend going with a tkl or larger
like unless you go for ISO hotswap fullsize on a budget
there is no reason to go for them
there are just straight better options for a comparable or lower pricepoint
The fully assembled version includes: ABS plastic housing The keyboard PCB, screw-in stabs, and the steel plate Double-shot OSA PBT keycaps (including Mac & Windows keycaps) Keychron K Pro switches The barebone version does not include the keycaps and switches. No discount codes can be used for V6. Please drop your
70 USD
for the barebone
imo the fully assembled one is a better deal at 90 USD
since it comes with very much decent caps
and decent switches as well
also comes in a larger variety of layouts
does not use some weird proprietary random chinese OEM firm-/software
but just qmk with via
aye gmmk gang
hey that's me!
is your case really pingy or is it just mine? it may also be the unlubed gateron browns but doesnt hurt to ask
mine isn't finished so I don't know, might be your switches.
