I mean I’m just waiting for good gasket mounted keyboard
wait for the m1 to restock
I’m thinking of building another board
it’s probably the best option within your price range
true
do you have any ideas?
Tofu65 maybe
yikes
Is that bad?
you should ask for opinions in badminton, can guarantee the people in there aren’t as mean as #build-a-pc
Except that jirowe fella
they’re nice
I haven’t met anyone else
Hm
I don’t really wince in pain like people expect
just a decision you’ll regret later
doesn’t affect me
@glossy sandal what would you think of the keychron q1?
Also a good option
What layout is the q1
75%
Hm
Q1 is 75%, Q2 is 65%, Q3 is TKL, Q4 is 60% and I can’t be asked to list the rest
Q2 is so damn mid
Oof
buy a bakeneko65 instead
fr
mhm
How much will that run me
this is just my opinion
I generally dislike all of keychron’s q series boards because they’re boring
I never thought I’d want girls to stop texting me
they’re solid boards though
But it’s happening
140$~
Akko mod 007?
Not worth it anymore
Oh I like that
What colors does it come in
did you say something in my dms
lots of them
I might’ve forgot
Does it come in light purple
yea
It comes in lilac yeah
Hmm
Yea might as well just get m1 seems good
That’s perfect
he really using English to Spanish instead of asking me ❤️🩹
what
Ikr
I saw that lol, I see you snoop too
me and Astro share a computer
Makes sense
real
we both live in ohio
No way
Astro I’m listening to tuyu rn
and ughhhh I want that Tuyu board that my friend designed so bad
I should ask him for the files
you really really shud
now that i think abt it music/artist based boards would go so hard
It’s so funny how you find me every time I do
i mean
you dont make it hard
i would delete some of htem
but i feel like you've seen them atp
I see everything
I just forget
To uh
Respond
@chrome raft should we dunce biggie
What
shit wrong person
Bro wtf
@gloomy patrol
Too late dickass
go for it
Eat it
start from the top
are we making it around a plate
universal pcb compat?
Someone have any experience with Mekanisk keyboards?? I Just found them and it looks like its good quality keyboards, but i dont know.
Ok Thank you very much.
no kailh box pink
yes lighter ones are far better
also why the thonk emote
I genuinely like kailh box pinks the most out of all the box clickies

no it was just funny emote no context hahah
ah ok
i liked navy and red ones the most on here
afaik they are discontinued
what do you use in your daily driver lol
since you seem to like very heavy switches
for some time now i have been mostly using akko cs lavender
seems like a nice switch
actually i prefer lighter switches but usually prefer nice tactility
i like the top actuation
thinking of maybe going linear forr another keyboard if i decide so
the entire box lineup doesn't do tactiles well
yes i have found those cheap and i wanted to test ones i have not yet
wanted to try some linear and clicky
interesting which ones are you referring to
interesting like all of them
My end game 🙂
so far still mx blacks with 57g tx L springs
nice idk why many people prefer black over red is it just because it has tougher spring
personally not a fan of green but looks really good man
i actually really like red ones out of linear probably the most but yellow are fine
but idk if i want to get rid of tactility
I need suggestions, I need like basic volume controls, pause play, brown switches, wrist rest and adjustable angle, hotswappable
For under £80 GBP
With rgb
they’re being spring swapped anyway
it doesn’t matter
Looking to invest into a new keyboard, so sick and tired of Razer. Haven’t had good experiences with the past two keyboards I’ve bought from them.
Looking for something in the realm of $150-$200 preferably on Amazon. Tactile switches, TKL
Keychron Q3, Brown switches.
tkl yuck
person above me is a noobie^
i just dont like tkl :P
@pearl otter has been playing minecraft for 6 hours
which is impressive unless they're afk or smth
lame
you're lame
this is true
We're all lame, let's just be honest
Biggie needs to come to terms
oh i know im lame
Thanks by the way
they’re gateron
Oh nice it's Mac compatible too, swappable keys I take it
nice
Alr bet
happy purchasing
I swap pretty frequently between Mac and PC so that'll be handy
Dedicated media controls would be nice but not a dealbreaker
same lol
not really happening on customs
Yeah ik
Realforce
hai mx
I said 150 - 200 not 250+
Buy used
No
L
.
What’s up
For £80 you aren't gonna get hotswap
but you’re not getting a wristrest
Hotswap isn’t some premium feature
I've had two Razers die on me in the span of a year and a half
Huntsman V2 and Ornata V2
Not a fan of the brand anymore, and their software messes with Oculus AirLink/Steam VR
Imagine liking Razer in the first place
yeah I haven’t touched a razer keyboard in a while
Deathadder gets a pass though
I’ve just got a bare pcb and switches soldered in though lmao
oranges are a nice light tactile
I personally don't get the push toward analogue keyboards myself. Like yes they're cool but they feel gimmicky to me.
I like razer mice though
never have, never will
Real benefit lies in contactless tech
The adjustable actuation stuff is just a gimmick
No such thing as a cherry aristotle
Dude did a good job rebranding himself
Used to go by hbheroinbob
I can't find a Keychron Q3 Brown in their black color scheme, just the gray one... Oh well, they both look sleek
one second
lmao
yeah I haven’t heard anything in particular
I would but his shit if he still went by that
just him as a person, he keeps his business really separate though
Yk the other Aristotle clones
yeah
I actually like that the keychron is geared toward Mac
chicony Aristotles
Taking a closer look at the board it has the Mac icon shortcuts
That’s a thing?
yeah
I’m thinking of the third one then
clone mx
Blackberries or smt
but yeah Aristotles use genuine cherry parts but cherry has never said they’ve made them
I almost bought a Logi Pro X keyboard before consulting y'all
You got a source for that?
Link me if you dm
kk
🪂
oh while I’ve got you
can I dm you something and you give me your thoughts on it
Sure
What's the difference between the Q and V series? @glossy sandal been doing a bit of research
RGB isn't necessary for me, but backlighting would be nice.
I see
that’s the big difference
Buy from taobao for a literal 33% off 👍
$50 amazon gift card
Hence why I'd prefer to buy from Amazon lol
Actually 33% off is more than $50
Shit thanks
Ah- it's all in chinese
Yes did you not know what Taobao was lol
I did not
Just buy from Amazon then
do you still need a proxy to buy off taobao?
i believe so
gg
what board
Keychron Q3 TKL
oh nice
Really impressed with it, on paper anyways
with q series, is the cabe detachable?
Some countries have direct shipping
thats nice
Definitely not the us though
and iirc q series is gasket mount
Should I waste my money and get one of those ridiculous USB cables for it? XD
No
yes.
No
i wanna get one too
Oh to be clear I wouldn't buy on brand, you can get cheap knockoffs
Doesn’t matter
I'm not that insane
Like iem cables?
@glossy sandal you could always make your own cables, it isnt that hard
nah they’re like 44$ lmao
Or they just really do not value their time
oh no i do not like that
That's actually a super cool aesthetic
if I were to get a custom cable it would be something like this
what!
Considering I have $20 IEMs that have those wires as well
(KZ ZSN Pro)
One of the best cheap IEMs you can buy
are zsn pro's good? ive heard great things about them
No LOL
I need help, I’m looking for brown switches, fully black keyboard, real solid feeling to it, under £80 GBP
Kz is irrelevant as fuck
I could spend more but I don’t see the point to spending that much on a keyboard
Salnotes zero is leagues better
I’m going to buy etymotic soon I thinks
I'll have to buy some and do a comparison, for $20 it's not really a loss
Fotm no thanks
very good iem for the price
mx do you like etymotic
its basically salnotes's tuning but without the bad build quality
Haven’t tried any
Don’t like iems in general lol
I’m into that insertion thing everyone talks about
didn’t you like subtonic storm though 🪂
The only iem I would seriously make an effort to use is STORM
And Helios maybe
all good
i got one from aliexpress and works just as well
it is just for aesthetical vibe serves no other purpose
who would I talk to
to have a custom one made
I want a twizzler
Braided keyboard cable?
yess
Diy it honestly
❤️🩹
The affordable one I have in mind is run by a particularly distasteful individual and I don’t want to give them any attention
You can buy the pre braided ones by the meter fyi
I’m an ethically smart shopper!
where
Aliex
ok.!!
Taobao if you want the Chinese speaking price™️
the proxy id use would just cost as much as ordering from Ali
i do not want to start an argument but wonder why would people consider being ethical while shopping online when it has no impact on them spending extra money
Then just buy from ali
it’s a small community, need to root out the bad folk
I want to be clear that I’m Chinese myself and this is an actual thing in china lol
people still buy iphones where they use slavery to mine lithium but complain about clones hurting other companies
people are against piracy but support spotify who steals more money from artists
I mean the dude straight left orders unfulfilled for months while accepting new ones lol
on aliexpress you can just ask for refund
He isn’t on aliex 🤨
just mentioning it is pretty say to buy there if he decides to
I’m not going to buy but I kinda wanna know his banner
Name
is he still prominent ?
there are a lot of shops scamming for keycaps on aliexpress but you gett money back
hi gas
Hi
how are you
I’m in class
what kind of bread?
I love brioche
What makes a switch feel solid
huh
Like, only one click, some switches feel a lil bit mushy, even mechanical ones, what makes it like a mouse click at the bottom without getting stuck on the way down to the press
so what do yall think of my keyboard
Odin is pretty lit
Bro that Mousepad looks straight out of God Of war or sumn
It's the amaterasu deskmat
there, aesir mouspad

Keyboards
looking to purchase a barebones board, budget is 100 usd, willing to go higher if there are significant benefits. my only 3 requirements are that its hotswap, has an f row, and has a knob
Keychron V3/V1/V5/V6/V whatever
was looking at the v1 and it looked solid, its probably what ill end up going with but i wasnt sure, thx :)
Would also look at Monsgeek m1
Banger board for the price
what kind of layout is the bottom pcb?
so kinda just an ortholinear but with thumb keys?
yeah
nice
damn this actually looks pretty nice
damn its 60 bucks on taobao
might pick one up
now there’s a scratch
that's what happens when you scratch things
I saw
its nice that most things in keyboards are made in china
can get them for cheap 🔥
wow
Alright bois, big decision here
Photo#1 Transparent with mostly blue keycaps
Photo#2 Opaque with mostly black keycaps
definitely the black on black
Discord servers providing validation since 2015 🔥 🔥 🔥
don't be so snide!!
Very true
Yo any of you up for another question?
yeah
Once again, #1 or #2
Looking at the mousepad this time
About the same dimensions, #1 is 35in by 15in whereas #2 is 35in by 11in
1
Yeah, I am not a big fan of the rgb either, am running a blackout themed build rn
one of the OG mousepads
Bro, if it aint broke, don't buy a different mousepad
in all seriousness get something like this
https://shop.x-raypad.com/shop/custom-aqua-control-ii-gaming-mouse-pads/
A custom mousepad could be cool
Raaa
aqua control 2 is a good pad
omg so thockty
Any 100% With knob recommendations? Ive had 2 k70s just trying to try something else before buying another k70
damn the v6 would be perfect if it wasnt sold out
q6 overpriced for my taste, i just rather buy another k70 at that point
Way better experience with keychron
Literally cheaper than a k70 and not a complete dogshit board
Literally I would rather use a membrane than the rattly ass corsairs
a $200 keyboard is cheaper then a $120 keyboard? whats rattly about a solid aluminum keyboard? im so confused as to what you're basing this off of
the k70 isn't solid aluminium, it just has an aluminium plate
I’ve had my two of them for years, I spill the occasional drink and swap between them, my switches on the current in use one are showing their age with some stick, I tried tons of isopropyl alcohol and they work smooth then go back to sticking. I’m contemplating just desoldering switches from the other board to solder to this one (other board has dead media controls) or just buying another new k70. I’ve tried a few ducky’s and cheaper 65%s and other full sizes and the k70 til this day has been my favorite overall feel, the wrist rest and everything, media controls etc at its price point is just so good.
Basing it off of, I have owned a k70 mk2 for multiple years which still sits in my closet. Its a horrible board, the stabilizers are rattly af, uses generic cherry switches, non detachable cable, cheap abs plastic case with a thin aluminum plate, cheap abs keycaps as well
I literally rather use a detachable thinkpad keyboard than it
The mk2 most be completely different from the first gen, and whatever the other gen k70 I have is. I know the mk2 has different switches, but for you to say the plate is thin is crazy to me
It doesnt have different switches
Same shit but slightly different looking
Literally
And the cherry mx reds is all we had for the longest time when it came to general big brand out the box keyboards
Mk2s had speed switches?
Exactly, move on from them
To what, kechrons in-house reds?
As an option yes but also came with the same regular shit cherries
For example yes
Theyre not perfect either but a huge step up from cherries
What’s your favorite linear switch?
Atm alpaca
All switches make noise
So you’re slamming the keys down?
Are you actually just pretending to be stupid?
Physically impossible for them to be completely silent
You’re slamming the keys down, what’s stupid about that lol
yes they won't make any noticeable noise if you don't bottom out
they use they same thickness as everyone else does lol
1.5mm as specified in the cherry mx datasheet
so thin as fuck
the Q series keychrons are literally ALL aluminum
even the smallest of them weigh over double than your corsair
??
So that means the plates in customs are all thin as fuck?
That plate in your beloved Keychron is fucking 1.5mm as well fyi
what the actual living fuck are you on?
the thing is solid aluminum
it doesnt have just a plate of thin af aluminum
I’m talking about the plate itself
You speak of 1.5mm plates in a negative way yet literally everything uses 1.5mm
because it is the only thing keeping that cheap toy from bending like a hotdog
who the fuck actively tries to bend their keyboard?
thats a completely irrelevant factor
if your definition if premium is full metal construction then sure
take a look at the hifiman sundara
you fucking love it
its full metal
premium
my definition of premium is not being able to bend it with 2 fingers
I have edition xs thank you very much
???
the edition xs is literally the single best headphone under 500 bucks
what a clown
go and stick a brick up your ass you dense kid
seethe
you literally defend your cheap af kids toy of a keyboard to the worlds end and calling me out on COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT things to do with the topic
huge fucking owners bias
🤡
I don't own a k70 and I never have, I just didn't like that you were spewing bullshit
and once I knew which group of people you belonged to it made a lot more sense 🤷
not my only headphones by the way, I mostly use the r70x for gaming and the edition xs only for music
that just further reinforces my opinion of you
bet you have a zendac too
and you think its the best dac for the price eh?
by buying high quality products that sound insanely good for their price?
and no I dont

@glossy sandal what do you think?
Is the k70 good or not
Your headphones suck ass kid, dt770s the world
Your car is slow, just like your brain
I got beat with mine and it didn’t bend so 👍
770s are hot garbage as well
💀
I have focals in the m3, kef for the home theater, the dt770s work great y’all tripping
Oh wow
yeah they work great im sure
would be a scandal if they didn't
they definitely do not sound good
kef makes some trash too
only their higher end speakers are decent
good morning mx
good evening
I ain’t reading allat!!
What do you want me to say?
anything
rip
Taobao™️
i have just enough diodes left over to do choc keyboard and controller, but not enough mx sockets or milky yellows to do the 100
still need stabs too
nooooo
Well that was fast
Less than 24h delivery
Amazon 1 day go brrt
And oh my god this is literally the best keyboard I've ever used, rugged solid and quiet, zero flex
And RGB!
I thought it didn't have it
I'll have to get some double shot PBT caps with clear lettering
try a nuphy halo96
or halo75
that's even better
I mean I’m coming from a Razer Ornata V2 here
This is like ascending to the gods
I had a Huntsman V2 but it had uh… an accident
frankly, enjoy it
^
I'd have preferred a solid white backlight if they're gonna stick to south facing leds
Keychron are built very good and type nice but yeah that's something I regret deeply
I use my kb at night and would prefer to not need a desk lamp or anything when I need to reach for numpad slash or f10 in the dark
If i knew I would have gone for something with backlit keys
memorize your layout 🫶
Work with the lights on like a normal person
I need a new monitor light bar
At 4am not so fun
go to sleep like a normal person
Wanna just gamer mode in the cave darkness
gremlin
👺
i hate these
just turn the room lights on
Fr fr
In my room the lights don't rly work to illuminate my keyboard
Due to weird circumstance won't bother explaining is just don't rly work
I'll get a light bar. I hadn't reddit looked recently at all. But he the ones I saw were like 40 bucks that's way too much for some LED bars
Yeah it was fine
the controls were kinda janky on the left side but it worked as intended
Oh and I'm already looking to mod my board by the way ha, any recommendations on tactile switches? I like a strong bump
Glorious Panda seems interesting, but idk legit anything about switch quality so
i would not go near those
green jackets, emogogo tactiles, u4ts, purple pandas
purple panda ... I really didn't like them compared to the akko tactile I have
the bump is fine ... there's something off about them
don't know why
I guess they're scratchier than the lavender purple or the purple jelly
I love my lavender purples
yeah those are great ... favorite akko tactile so far
I was wanting to try one of their POM series
even after lubing?
probably POM browns?
glad you found the switches you liked most in the end tho
in the end most of it comes down to preference
I don't lube
hows it sound
I don't know ... like I don't care much about sound
sound and feel are the two main things for me
feeling is everything for me
when I don't have my headphones on my head I'll give more impression about the sound
milky yellows
totally
Can someone recomend me a cheap mechanical keyboard?
well the sound didn't change much from when it was the akko keycaps with asa profile ... maybe the pitch is a little higher but that's about it
I like the color scheme:)
thanx ... I like them too ... it's now quite hard to find those in dsa profile ... all I can find are cherry profile (which I quite hate)
Yeah I bought one cherry profile set and did not enjoy it
the sad thing with those is that they don't include a short right shift so it can't fit with compact 65% layout and such ... like only full, tkl, 60% and some exploded other % layout
damn I quite like that keyboard ...
and I feel like I'm typing a bit faster with that profile than with the asa profile
but that's probably just in my head
hiiiiiiiooiioooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Does anybody know, if there exists an ergonomic keyboard (wireless if possible), that has MX-blue switches?
Most if not all I found so far are low-travel (almost laptop-like) 'designer' keyboards... certainly nothing for people, who type a lot.
Not MX but a similar switch
Is that fine?
It needs decent travel, mechanical "feel" and a proper click-noise.
I only know the MX-blue and MX-red ones. Sure others may exists, but I am not familiar with those.
@glossy sandal hello
whuh
wassup
listening kpop with a fwend 🫶
Not exactly ergonomic but keychron q8/q10
I like your Spotify username
Dang
I can still access it, weirdly enough
we’re in badminton
join us if you want maybe haha 🫶
hm... the Q10 looks interesting... thanks for the hint!
happy purchasing 🪂
Hello astrooo
If you want cheaper, v8/v10
Date?!
My new keyboard has arrived ^^
lit
pretty
Ye I might get some keycaps that let more light through, but this is good for now
Can u use normal lube on switches?
Looks great
You don’t want to end up using something that’ll ruin your switches
Might as well stick with the tried and tested
Ayyy nice!
So I ordered a seperate red knob from the same site
unfortunately the original knob is way higher, it fits as a knob, but i can't press it down anymore
Referring to the recent video about melgeek pixel
Milky yellows
loego
so, i was typing and start and alt were swapped
so i went looking, ended up installing autohotkey and start searching for a script to swap them.
then i see a thread about someone mentioning mac and they need to swap for that.
so i check, and my new keyboard was set to mac so i just had to change a switch
keybored
Same
No
ok Mr 🤓
curious
what akko switches are the best for clacky sound and its between 40-50gf
any
because of the pc tops all akkos, except for the pom ones will sound higher pitched
finished my first keyboard
interesting homing keys
The flat square keyset had no options for homing keys, so I just used extras from my other keyboard
Anyone who has a Feker ik75 V3 pro does it come with a switch puller?
is it hot swappable?
i believe every hotswappable keyboard should come with a switch puller
Switches come today 🙂 can't wait to lube them
which of these keyboards would you guys recommend?
https://rog.asus.com/us/keyboards/keyboards/aura-rgb/rog-strix-scope-tkl-model/
ROG Strix Scope TKL wired mechanical RGB gaming keyboard with Cherry MX switches, aluminum frame, and Aura Sync lighting for FPS games.
Keychron Q3 is a fully customized 80% TKL layout mechanical keyboard packed with all premium features and endless possibilities. Q3 is an all-metal keyboard that allows customizable capabilities for every key switch, keycap, knob, and stabilizer. It’s made for your personalized experience and a more comfortable typing experience.
Q3
q3 definitely
Oh any reason by any chance? I just saw the shortcircuit video about the ROG keyboard hence why im wondering between the two haha
all it has going is the rog logo
otherwise, a cheap ass build compare to the q3, and since they use cherry mx switches, there is no latency advantage or any shit
very moot point, but the whole case of the q3 is a nice hefty block of alu
whereas all you get from the scope is the top plate
Ah fair enough, I was actually my main two options was between the q3 and https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-q1 this one but not sure if the extra space for arrow keys is worth it or not haha
Ahh I see, I am looking for a super quiet mechanical anyways so nothing clicky or noisy 😅
i mean it depends on you
i think tkl is enough space saving for mouse movement
yea you really doesnt save that much space
Yeah seems like it, and might hit the arrow keys by mistake sometimes since they are so close
Do you know anything about the quality of Keychron service? In terms of customer support, defects etc.. I am also wondering if they have huge import fees into Europe 😅
they have local europe service for quite a few countries actually
where are you from?
Oh that is sweet! NL
straight from 2 netherlands retailer
which means support would be the same as other products sold in the netherlads
Ahh, will check em out, alternate is shit at least in my experience here 😅
Any recommendations on the "switches" ?
Not sure what the red, blue, brown do. I know currently on my corsair k70 i have something called silver? not sure if there is more quiet than that
red blue and brown would be the same as the cherry mx red, blue and brown switches basically
there are switches that are quieter, those have dampeners on em to keep it silent
Ahh so the ones keychron offers arent quiet per say?
the switches themselves would be just as loud as other keyboard
the keyboard on a whole might be a lil quieter cause it has foams inside
which dampens the sound a lil bit
Ooo I see
but if you talking membrane level of quietness, buy the barebones and get some silent switches
the board itself is hotswappable, you could plug in any mx compatible switches in and it would work
Does the price jump up high when the switch is more quiet?
Also seems the barebone is sold out haha
Seems im gonna have to buy from the official website anyways as the local ones dont have the q3 with knob from what I can find
alternate does have a knob q3 in stock
Ah yeah sorry should've mentioned for gray/silver color scheme haha
Though what is the difference between allthese?
Like Q3-M3, Q3-A2, etc
Is this good for 100$
top is prebuilt with knob, bottom is barebone with no knob
nope
that is gmk wob money already
heres one in black
ah damn.. im so confused with all the q3-abc stuff haha
I guess alternate does not have the silver/gray one?
solved the problem of me always accidentally hitting caps lock
slapped a pen spring in the switch and now i can only press it when i actually mean it lol
it almost shoots the keycap off if i just let it return up with no interference
i dont think my board has remappable keys
and even if it did at this point im not gonna just bc the novelty of it is hilarious to me
i have always liked tkl the most while it gets rid of numpad also keeps consistency of shape and symmetry
also pretty easy to get keycaps for it but i would like it if it was 1cm or 2cm more narrow
idk why keycaps i bought on amazon like most are perfect but i have noticed a couple of letters are taller than others
top and bottom both stand out 1mm or 2mm but is it because holes are not cut deep enough or is something else
milky yellows
manufacturing tolerance
i am selling my keychron and getting a gaming keyboard instead
i have spent 200eur almost 250eur on it and it is less consistent than my redragon
less consistent?
stock keycaps were scratched and switches were leaking few had broken pins and stabilizers were soaked in lube also very inconsistent
i guess i will rather return the keyboard or sell it then buy new keycaps for 90eur and new switches for 80eur
kek
why are aftermarket keycap options so.... bad?
Like I genuinely can't find any that arent either a goofy ass color combo, goofy ass designs, or goofy ass shapes lmao
I'm new to "enthusiast" level keyboard stuff ig but damn
help my keyboard has this weird thing where window[s key ra;ndomly w[orks a;nd doesnt w[ork a;t times a;nd a;lso for some rea;son it sometimes types a; semicolon a;fter a; a;nd sometimes it does not
IM NOT EVEN JOKING 😭
buy a new keyboard
do you have a custom/modded board?
new board time lmao
first lock is
num lock
2-nd is
caps lock
3rd is
some ra;ndom lock tha;t ha;s symbol W{
idk what that is cal;led
just buy white on black then
there are plenty of those out there
man i dont wanna buy a; new keyboa;rd a;nd find out its ca;use of a damn setting or smth
having a hard time finding ones that are backlit "compatible"; as in the rgb shines through the letters
🤷♂️
bro the ones i just found look straight off a dell OEM keeb lmfao
it also doesn't help that I have a 75% that uses that goofy ass short right shift
fell for the 75% meme 💀
it's so symmetrical tho
uhhhh
wtf is this key even
should i buy a; chea;p logitech keyboa;rd
probably not
if it makes you able to type normally then yes
whats up with all the ;
uhm
.
yea;h...
literally salvage a random ass board from an office or something until you get a better one
anyone knows if there is all black keyboard with wob in 75% or 80% what has no shine through keycaps
Leopold
i hear leopold would be pretty expensive
130$
is there any version that would cost me 150eur or 160eur
HOLY SHIT I NOTICED A PATTERN
I Noticed a; weird pattern
distance between '2' and '-' is exactly 9 and they are literally connected (clicking either one puts the other next to it)
distance between 'w' and '[' on keyboard is exactly 9 and same thing as above
distance between 'a' and ';' is exactly 9 and same thing as above

You probably have something stuck shorting a part of the kb
gateron north poles in my q3, cherry mx red silents in my sons q3
what is different about them
i have yellow on switch tester but are way too heavy
cool
i have cs lavender akko but thinking of getting red or black
but i also kind of like white since they are clicky but not too loud and very soft
Those looks like kailh box white, on of the best clicky switches imo along with box jade and box navy
interesting i also really like kailh box white but people seem to hate them
i do not really like jade or navy but i do like white
Clickbars goated
box red and box white are atm best switches i have tested so far
i can see appeal of navy and jade but they are quite too heavy in tactility for me they feel like getting stuck a little
They have thicker clickbars to clear on the upstroke
yes they sort of feel like getting caught or at least to me
liek sort of cracking feel
idk why but i only liked red and white pretty quiet and soft springs
but i feel like purple and orange are worst
Bottom row look like kailh speed lineup
put them all in a bin like a lego container
@glossy sandal hi gas
Hi
how are you
roblos
Anyone knows how to fix Keychron's battery life?
wouldn't turn on but said green on charging indiactor
Does anyone know of any keyboard or hot-swappable barebones board that has this layout? Im looking for basically a 60% with function keys
so.... you're looking for a 75%? xD
No, I don't want the arrow keys and the keys above them.
do you have a budget in mind
Hopefully under $150 but I wanna find one in the first place, then look for one in budget
i cant think of any under 150
Could u link any u know of?
bacca70
[IC] Bacca70 70% Keyboard (GB September 17th!)
i found one
i have no idea if its good or not since its an aliexpress board but its called the Noppoo Nano
razer linear optical switch good?
good
the keyboard that they comes with is rather overpriced tho unfortunately
No numpad basically
no i mean is it good?
ive gotten used to no numpad using my laptop
but i feel like itd be weird on a desktop
It's all preference
If you need numpad cause it helps with your workflow, there's nothing weird with using a fullsize keyboard with a pc
hmm
ACTUALLY
i need the numpad for easy thieving in osrs. normal size it is!
also the 10 keyless isnt in stock at the moment.
oh shit
i got a clicky optical not a linear optical
is that still fine?
nevermind linear isnt in white for fullsize.
Hello, I'm new here and that screenshot made my eyes bleed a little.
why?
Clicky will have a click and a tactical feedback when you type on em
AU$1000 on keeb/mouse peripherals by Razer. I'm a little taken aback at Razer being willing to charge endgame prices for a set of peripherals.
To each their own and I wouldn't keeb or mouse shame anyway, it's just hurk that's a lot on Razer.
Wait don’t spend 250 on an rgb desk pad wtf
it looks cool.
Some people have too much money 💀
People can spend their money however they like, and if you're gonna buy a $250 rgb desk pad you're clearly in a position to spend it however you like. Still, dang.
want to see how much my current pc is at?
Sure

just waiting on the 12 pin lianli rgb cable later this year, and i want a MEG 342C QD-OLED and then another 27 inch 4k screen for netflix
Part List - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, GeForce RTX 4080, NZXT H9 Flow ATX Mid Tower
actually ill probably go for one with a similar pixel density to the meg, so maybe 1440p
there are some doubles with weird prices because i cant add some things
Outside of the Lian Li fans at $50AU a pop, nothing there really looks all that shocking to me knowing the USD to AU exchange rate off the top of my head.
well i got them for 40 each, but averaged the shipping and added it on to keep track of total cost
paid extra for shipping because the h9 flow came with it and wanted insurance in case they shattered my glass
Ouch. I was gonna ask if you were in Melbourne because at least then you've got local sources for parts but if you're getting it shipped, I'm guessing not
5.5k isn’t shocking for pcs?
in sydney. we got some stores here too but i cbf driving. time is money
only made the trip today to pick up my 7950x3d- the price in there is different because i got the 3d today but cant pick it on pcpartpicker
$5500 AUD is 3.5-4k USD depending on exchange rate at the moment. Pricey yes, but nothing that's massively shocking for a high end build
Icic, I got 5.5k usd after converting the 8k+ on the site, but I’m curious how much would be shocking for a high end build
Oh you're right. Yeah that's pretty pricey but again, there's some doubles there and it's still not totally unreasonable.
