pbtech.co.nz "Razer Huntsman Mini 60% Gaming Keyboard - Mercury White Razer Linear Optical Switch
No
Any reason?
overpriced gamer gear
What’s a keyboard u would recommend then?
The V4 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard suitable for different scenarios. It’s an entry-level custom keyboard with a mini 60% layout, QMK/VIA support, an acoustic silicone pad, and double-shot PBT keycaps to provide you with a great typing feel and endless possibilities.
thx but now my spacebar sounds horrendous
holy shit my space bar sounds worse
i only clipped it and removed the lube on it and i holee mmodded it but i still took it off cuz it wasnt a good bandaid
alright, but couldve clipping caused this?
Not really
ah
The point of clipping is that you’re creating an even surface because the part you’re clipping rests on the pcb
So unless you didn’t clip right, should be fine.
What’s the best sounding switch?
i removed the lube that the people put on it, so maybe that might be why?
Is the pin bent on left shift?
Nah, i tried diffferent switches
it isnt registering
i think i bricked my whole keyboard possibly
the space bar doesnt register at times and neither does the left shift
you think you might’ve broken a trace?
whats that
@twilit flare top 10 gaming
the pcb, I’m thinking maybe you damaged it
the left shift works but now the space bar is wrecked
what did you do other than take the stabs out?
Dam
maube
nothing
oh, it registers now ?
yea
nice
the space bar doesnt tho
Re do the stabs
alright\
I’m thinking it’s an issue with assembly
yea maybe
Imagine pinging me
You pinged me kid
What’s that
Damn they posted a image of the break-in too
I don’t get it
They got their stuff stolen bruh
Rip
soldering smd is pain holy ow
tho tbh had more trouble with the hotswap sockets, melted one :c
they sent smd diodes instead of through hole ;~;
and its my first time soldering in years
didnt have time to wait so i just said screw it and started with smd
i watchred a video and i did it properly
cool
Is the membrane version of the roccat sova worth it? I saw one used going for about 40 bucks used(in good shape) but not sure since its not mechanical.

Hey guys is there a way to disable the function of a key on my keyboard but keep it detected by programs,
im trying to use keys such as: insert, pause, scroll lock etc as hotkeys because i dont use them, ive played around with windows powertoys to disable their function but now the key input is not detected
i want it to be detected but not perform their default functions.
any ideas?
get a macropad
well id prefer not to since i have perfectly good keys im not using right here XD + im a student so moneys tight
issue is i need a key that doesnt perform any action or inputs a typed value. but there doesnt seem to be any such value
f13
or if you can try modifier macros
:0
thanks guys
additionally, is there a way to control the scroll lock light? remapping it has disabled its control over the light
i made that in 5 seconds in tinkercad
if i dont got grease for my stab wire, can i just use normal switch lube?
is done
are you working the register or something
Bros doin accounting with that thing
lel
How do you make a PCB in tinkercad
i mean the render
Cool man congratulations!
using tinkercad
e
literally a num pad for my accounting bro
ordered some beige caps
thinking might switch the akko red for milky yellow
fusion 360 only
what tf are u talking about
keyboard/pcb making softwares
low profile where ?
Bein stylish as he does his accounting
my h doesent register like 99% of the time theres noting wrong with it and i've cleaned it and chhecked for anything under key. it rather puts it or does it more then once in a single press
I have a Razer black widow v2, I’m having issues with my hair which has gotten trapped underneath the keys and I can’t get it out using tweezers or by hoover, I’m pretty sure I can remove the protective guard which is attached over the keyboard but I’m not sure how
Or should I try cleaning with compressed air
got a new q series keyboard and was just soldering the pcb
but i ahve taken a break and dropped my rubik cube on it
no idea how rubik cube broke the pcb well that was money well spent
second day of new year and broken headphones and keyboard lol
as in keychron Q series?
why the hell would you solder it
i mean i just got pcb and i was doing custom case
and i dropped it in the middle
so you got a Q series pcb? which is hot swap
yes i was gonna put it in a new case and i have not finished soldering and adding foam so i have taken a break
i knew i was gonna drop something on it sooner or later tho lol
i am still asking the question, why the hell are you soldering a hot swap pcb
What is there to solder on a hs pcb
it even has leds already right
like there is straight up not a single thing to solder
i love both of those
pink and white keycaps anyone got any recommendations please @ me
literally perfect thank you !!!
now i just need to buy a white keyboard
:)))
why are you so good at this
i have a crippling addictiont to browsing aliexpress xd
haha this is gonna be my first time making a keyboard no idea what im doing haha
tbh im not to worried about the price im more worried about how i put the thing together lmao
i was gonna say i watched a video and then this dude started soldering stuff and i was like wot
how many keyboards do you own!!
ohhhhhh
and I have one bought
oh my New Blood tofu
how much did you spend on that lmao
oh dam that is one amazing looking keyboard
Yeah
what switches did you go for
yes
lmao
where you from ?
uk
idm waiting at all
well then
look up
kbdfans on aliexpress
and kprepublic
on aliexpress
overall aliexpress is your best friend
ok ok so these might not be the ones i go with but for example so far i have this
what else would i need
well
youre all set
😄
keycaps switches and a diy keyboard
what you might want now to tune your keyboard is a lube set
and some tape
oh ok >:)
if you want something more
a custom coiled cable
and perhaps a custom esc key
I just ordered this one
thats mad is that actually metal
yep cnc aluminium
i already ordered a white coiled cable haha
thats sick though
i just finished building my new pc i gotta stop buying stuff istg
i got a asus 3070 ti
32gb ddr5 corsair vengeance
rog X670E for motherboard
and a ryzen 7 7000k
i have the list somewhere
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW ATX Mid Tower
and a b450 steel legend
thats the exact parts
oh damm
i mean my old build was old
it had a 1660 ti in it
and the case was really small
my old was a rtx2080super
it always over heated
i just spend alot of money on this and dont really even game that much lol
same
ever since i got it i havent even played anything
if you need any help with your keyboard
let me know
ignore the mess
the pc looks amazing
not even using your keyboard lmao
yk i looked at the screwdriver when it first came out and i was like wait does it come with the bits. cause they also sell bits on the website. so i didnt buy it but now i want it >:)
yep
i was in canada
from september to december
for studies
so used the lower tax and cheap shipping
bcs im in central europe
so it would be overly expensive to ship it to my home here
yeah 😄
it was great recieving it quickly
and also it being cheaper
and the backpack proved its price
i brought sooo much stuff in it
it was like bouldging
it was filled up like 140%
istg its like $200 for the backpack
how much money do you have jesus lol
clearly lmao
but i also have a particular skill
that not a lot of people in my age gap and country have
so companies in certain sectors will pay me a lot to help them
whats that
oh dangggg
and be also 22yrs old
so a few companies paid me to help them boost their french market
sales
make a good first impression for their french clients
etc
i mean once i finish my training and courses i will have more money to spend on my computer
:)
you doing graphic design ?
but i have no idea how you can speak multiple languages i struggle with one
its fun but i just do
i already do graphic design but im training to be a network engineer
thats nice
only network thing i can do is
crimp ethernet cables
and change your wifi name
lmao that actually killed me
😄
i mean tbh its all just servers, routers, switches and then just setting up NAS for people
yeah i imagine
so its one of those things that once you know how to do it its easy
and its all in offices and they dont know how to do any of it so no one is judging me lol
but im too scared with all those ip adresses
static ip and mac and whatever
once i preset reset and my house was without internet
idk what i did but on my like second day i reset a entire server at an office because i enetered the wrong thing
oopsi
understandable
Okay, so I'm looking for some metal base 65% keyboard arrow keys is important that uses red linear switches. Does anyone have any nice recommendations for me?
Keychron Q2
ditch the "red linear switch" and buy some actually decent linear switches
G pro reds are fine
oh god no
still a super budget switch, lubed its aight but stock its kinda ass

if he doesnt want to lube at all then something like the splash bros switch or oil king is great
Oil King lube job is kinda inconsistent
And splash bros are half silents right?
Bit of an acquired taste
Also g pro reds use the same factory lube application as oil kings
And polished stems
eh not rly, its just an all around good linear
I’m saying it’s the switch itself, not my opinion on it
It’s a half silent iirc
Silent bottom out and audible return
I think youre mistaken, theyre not half silents theyre speed switches
ofc a switch can be both but these are just marketed as a prelubed linear speed switch
I am interested in purchasing a keyboard that has a better linear switch. Do you have any recommendations that meet my criteria and fit within my budget of 250 USD?
Most prebuilts don’t do anything more than red/blue/brown
But the g pro reds on the Q2 are solid, you don’t need to do anything to them.
Also if you don’t plan to do anything to your board, ever.
Leopold is my top recommendation
get the bareboned Q2, add switches and keycaps
its super easy to install switches, literally just press them in and ur done

So lit
the durgod fusion I was talking about with non interfering north facing cherry brown with cherry keycaps
I'm about to sell this keyboard and everything else fr I haven't found motivation to lube
Why didn't I just get cool gaming keyboard why'd I put myself in debt bro 😭
Oooh what monitors?
L
Messy ah desk tho not gonna hold u bro
you got into debt over a keyboard? 💯
Ain’t no way you’re filing for bankruptcy over a k4
K6
Anyone like membrane keyboards?
Bold of you to think I have a business to begin with to go bankrupt 🥹
Yea
I use the corsair k55
I want the mechanical keyboards but there alot more expensive for the size I need
Yes
I got it in 2019 so it's a bit different than the current one
Yeah especially small ones
O
I need a full size with numpad
Since I have limited desk space tkL is ideal for me
Damn, kid moment
imagine
Y’all need to stop introducing kids to keyboards
nah
It 100% leads to bad decisions
nah
road rage
Lol
basketball toxic moments
I just feel sorry for you, having almost gone through the same thing when I first entered the hobby 🤷
Get dunked on
skill issue ngl
Why do you feel sorry
It's not that bad
It's not like I broke my keyboard... Yet
i think im getting sick D:
You were lead on with the promise of something great and took on a debt when the end result isn’t anything special whatsoever
North Carolina did it
Sad, really.

ello gas
Hi
So lit
What are you drinking? I never had any expectations of the keyboard turning out great or even the idea of me going through with lubing switches. You're overreacting. I bought the keyboard because I wanted to try out something new I entered fully knowing I could fuck it up but that's the point so I can experience it. Don't say you feel bad when in reality you don't give a shit and I don't either lol

what are you two waffling about
about gaming
at the end of the day i got the end game keyboard
You never know

It's a fuckin 60 buck keyboard bro why u putting so much thought into it lmao
top 10 gamers ngl
Go have a shot of wine grandpa
i called him an idiot and he said it was against tos and said he was gonna report me
Lol
Some advice and pity isn’t really what I’d call overreacting 🤷
If anything, you are with how weirdly defensive you’re acting
nah that's overreacting ngl
You're giving advice because you're under the impression I was being serious about something. That's overreacting
It's not me being defensive I'm just calling you out for your stupidity lol you're gullible and don't understand simple sarcasm
😑
so mean
is wiring an elite c onto a dead pcb with smd components hard

Sorry gas
is ok
Sound is temporary gaming is forever
I need some sound
True
edition xs soon!!’
Is that a group buy again
i should've used the bugha keyboard but im too lazy to set it up
Set what up lol
I can’t decide whether fiio or schiit
the keyboard in the picture
I thought all u do is plug it in and press crappy RGB key
Depends on what you think is hard ig, probably not a good idea if you’re new to soldering
headphon
yea and im too lazy to do that
@pastel drift
im right here bro
ok ill send it to you
Gas did you buy xs based off of the rec of some dude in audio tech
Easy
No
I am buying it based on months of stalking audio channes
also speaking to a couple audiophiles
well i just soldered for the first time in years, did 20 smd diodes onto the soldering pads by myself and im feeling cocky, ig the hardest part would be reverse engineering the matrix lol
Closed backs are hard to find
In where? sonic getaway?
Most of the “audiophiles” I know who recommend xs are deaf racists or special exceptions
Interesting, not me going "all in" with 100€ for a "full" size keyb with mx browns lmao
nah just a couple audio channels in some servers I’m in
wtf!!!
I thought it was good bang for buck
As my first mechhy that is
Get schiit btw
Lol
xamn..
Only good fiio products are the high end ones
Cherry MX-Board 3.0S
Rgb kinda hit ngl @twilit flare
Mahmoud and modish aren’t worth it imo
NICEEE
Fucking autocorrect
I actually dont mind the browns.. they have something to em.. but the best part was just.. the rgb software was unavailable for fucking 1.5 years
Mahmoud 🤙
this thing feeks disgusting thi
Better than my cynosa rgb
and it's not raised so that's bad
Giving razer a run for their money
Anyway modi+ and magni+ are the best as a beginner
Browns are lit
The typing posture 😭
I see
You’d have to get stuff in the 1k regions for a substantial upgrade over modi magni
What would be a fair option in the price range for modius and magnius

you’re crushing my expectations man!!
What would you recommend then for around the same ballpark as edition xs
Modi magni
Bugha keyboar
Headphone
my first mech was an on sale blue switch logitech 100%, first custom was a corne lol, jumped straight into 40% and i found it fun
you said it wasn’t any good
In a way, yeah. They sure aint the most smooth, also definitely and very tactile in a sense of one bump and thats it.. id almost describe it as some sort of "bump echo" that you don't feel that much if you don't pay attention.. it kinda gives a feel how how deep you pressed the key ngl.. atleast to me.
@twilit flare
Modius and magnius arent
im about to play phantom forces with this keboard
Modi magni are step below
I’m talking about edition xs
Oh you mean headphones

Ur gonna top frag
I believe in infinite scaling so hd6x0 lol
Damn!!
i hate clicky switches and feel my linears are still too loud, do i need foam?
If you don’t want to subscribe to that then elex ig?
I wonder if me connecting my phone to my computer acts as Bluetooth so I can connect my keyboard
I wanted a bit of a step up from hd6x0
I don’t know how much xs costs
Obviously best headphones are the crushers, 100% legit
xs is 450$
Everything under Arya from hfm is straight trash to me
Yeah elex maybe
Used borealis
Used hd800
You mean dt880s?
no hd
i hate this keyboard
Yes one of the most resolving headphones
I have a buddy who would sell me arya stealth 🐛
Though the treble emphasis is a sore spot for many
where is he
is "thocky" like quiet or is it still loud? i keep hearing the word
thocky is meaningless
I would avoid hifiman until your figure out your preferences
gotta go to a audio store!!
Their tuning is really meh for me
Also if you can, always get speakers before headphones
Speakers are almost always better
if i want a quieter build, what would be the cheapest place to start?
I personally wouldn't buy any headphones based of other peoples "good or bad", rule of thumb @glossy sandal, id listen to some headphones in sone sort if shop if possible, and then compare simmilar ones amd see what fits.. or find something perfectly flat, and eq to your likings.. but that both only goes so far and well.. take what i say with a cup full of salt
yeah I’ve said I don’t like speakers for obvious reasons
I hear that a well setup pair of 305p (200/pair) can be as resolving as hd800
Your loss then lol
yeah ik :(((
Headfi is a endless search for something speakers can achieve relatively easily
using hd600s plugged into a um2 rn
I don’t think they’re being properly powered
these hd600s aren’t mine but they sound nice
Um2 is behringer right?
Ew yeah no
someone recommended it and I was broke and noobie
Motu m2 has a decent hpout
It gets the job done
I was considering zen dac/zen can but I decided I’d be buying audio for probably the last time in a while
so decided to up the budget to maybe like 300-400 chain 500~ headphones
Zen dac is terrible as a standalone
yeye I’ll be sure to try to seek out audio stores
It gets better with the zen can but still not worth it over modi magni
Isn’t zen can a amp and dac combo?
Ask in the headphones.com server
I personally went with buds 1 pro for my phone based on recommendations, and while yes, they are probably the most amazing/neutral/true to the music sounding headphones i ever had, they are lacking in other regards of preferences.. and for the price.. im unsure if id do the same purchase again.
huge servers are scary but I’ll try soonish
still just window shopping and gathering info
The people you’re reading about zen dac and shit from are 100% those deaf racists I was talking about
All they talk about is xs and zen dac
is xs gmmk pro of audio
No
Hey what's a good full keyboard
I used he400se for a while before switching to iems
Keychron v6/q6
It’s probably pretty good value if you get them for like 70 bucks
got mine for 90
But really nothing like what those people describe them as
Do you like them more than hd600?
I mean the hd600s aren’t being power properly I don’t think
I do like the hd600s more when they were plugged into a proper chain though
at some point you just have to stop and enjoy what you have
If you do you might like hfm tuning or just haven’t developed your preferences yet
Indeed
hd600 scale with amp I've heard
I’m building my endgame amp and dipping lol
I would love to build a board rn 🐛
DIY amps are actually super good value
for now I'm happy with my acr pro68
gonna take apart my d84 and mess with configurations prob
oh actually I get to build a acr 75 pro soon
that’ll be fun I think maybe
nice
mine came with some screws loose so be careful when you open the box to not lose some
damn that’s weird
Consider diy sangaku when you want an upgrade for magni
Circuit used to be in a 2k amp iirc?
Can be built for like 500 I think
Should I just build that instead first or is it not recommended
box arrived with a dent on the side ... so it was probably brutalized a lot during transport ... i suppose that's why some screw came loose
Akko boards have been weird builds for me
Ah yes, fedex
I would
Since everyone has to start somewhere

But it’s not exactly a beginner project
This’ll be something to keep me busy for a while
not really ... canada post
You could get a feel for it by building a cmoy first
I’m easily appeased by audio so if I like it I’ll probably never upgrade unless stuff gets really good and really cheap in like a decade or something
The designer Pete millet responds to emails so if you have any questions just ask him
Huh..but fair enough, you could do that for <insert postal service>
that thing looks so funny
looks like a sampson mic
I like it
Yeah it’s mean to be a super simple little amp
how does it work ? ... you get a list of parts that you source yourself and buy the casing for it ?
Probably better than my um2 lmao
You buy a kit from pete on ebay with the pcb and harder to source components
Then buy the rest on mouser/digikey etc
Assemble using bom
bom?
Bill of materials
oh
If you have questions just dm me
kk
I'll keep that in mind ... thanx
and it sounds better than the magni 3+ ?
Yes
little mint tin thing
Cmoy and altoids tin is iconic
have yall seen the mini altoids tin? even smaller than the regular altoids tin?
i love it and want to shove a tiny computer in there
Altoids small?
yes so cute
raspberry pie maybe
What are altoids?
Oh ok I've never seen them before
how many keys do you really need even
There’s tap dancing
So I did a thing. After pages and pages of you all joking that I would end up with a single key morse code keyboard I finally made it happen.
Well almost. I did cheat by having a single key per hand.
You can order the PCB directly using this link: https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Single_key_keyboard_43be72a3.html
I designed a sin...
ooh
yeye tap dancing is pretty cool
i am too tired to process what tap dancing is from that vid rn
been using a 36 key layout, i think i could reduce it to 34 with thumb combos

I use like 3 layers
actually I use 2 lel
Wait shift counts as a layer
3 layers
i think the map i use has like 7? idk
just buy a tkl it’s so much better!!!! 🐛
bug?
It’s there to let you know it’s satire
i thought thats what the 4 !s were for
and "just"
but i appreciate the explicit warning
What is tap dance
i think im getting close to the point where i wanna actually design a keyboard, nothing scratches all the itches for me right now
i feel like itll be a painful experience though
where would be a good place to get like 20 keycaps with multiple symbols on them?
Aren’t those trashcons
trashcons?
trying to think if i want to keep a staggered qwerty around for people who want to use my computer sometimes
i know this sounds wild but my keyboard is shutting down my pc
Loool
then dont plug in the board
i just don't anymore
bro I swear I tried everything
thermal paste
unplugging everything
check connections
viruses
somehow this fucking keyboard shuts down my pc
I'm legit using my old one which is broken
at least my pc doesn't turn off
i think this is more of a power issue
my old membrane keyboard had a power button that actually worked
shouldn't be, at least, i had a beefier RGB one and didn't flinch once
but it was kinda my brothers so he took it when he moved out
i think it's just broken and inputting random shit making it turn off

I'm customizing a keyboard and need to know what ones are the quietist
silent red
It’ll definitely be quieter than clicky switches if you’re using one now
What’re you buying?
Interesting..
the keys i have rn are pretty clicky
Yeah should be a step down in terms of silent then
blues /s
Who pinged me
Hmm.
Trying to look for a keyboard for less than $100, coming up short with Amazon.
what’s your criteria
size? layout? etc etc
In any case, can’t go wrong with keychron v series
@glossy sandal so basically, I’m trying to find something that has a numpad, but in a smaller form factor.
So a 1800?
Oh okay hold on
This is a really weird layout
Like no boards use this
Yeah you know what, an 1800 looks about right.
Transitioning away from a Roccat Vulcan TKL
Keychron V5 is the pretty go to choice for 1800 under 100$
Looking for something with a bit more of a click feel so I can tell if I hit the key or not.
The Vulcan was nice, but god if I mistyped so many times cause I couldn’t tell if I hit the keys.
It’s more the response of the spring loading that pulses my finger, if that makes sense.
So you like the spring weight of blues?
the weight of the spring as it presses down?
Yeah, cause I can feel it when it clicks in.
I think you’re talking about the clickjacket
The what now
Oh then yeah, basically i just want the vibration it makes when it clicks in
I see
Cause I mistype on linear switches like Reds
I understand
A keychron v5 with blue switches sounds like it would be up your alley
89-99$ depending on configuration
“Currently unavailable from brand” on Amazon lol
unfortunate
You can also buy from keychron direct
It’ll take longer and shipping will be a bit more expensive
Hmm
I have no idea what the difference between fully assembled and fully assembled knob mean tbh

Knob
default is left for volume down right for volume up and press down for play/pause
Hmm.
You can rebind it to other stuff idk dude “lol
Does this seem like an okay board? Out of curiosity.

I know it’s not the Keychron, but
I just know for sure I’m not going with Redragon cause my brother had one
I’ll look into the Keychron, I suppose.
Not gonna make a decision right away on it, cause the Vulcan at least still is working properly.
This is probably worse than your brothers red dragon lel
For real? Lol
I just wish half of these non-TKL keyboards didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
Durock t1 is best clicky
you can feel the click but its not as loud as cherry mx blues
Let me check it out. Is it on Amazon?
Oh.
Yeah I’m not savvy with Keyboards, as ironic as that sounds.
(But at least I admit it)
yea than cherry mx blues your best option
honestly
the best budget mech keyboard i can recommend would be the redragon k552
Oh boy.
My brother bought one of those bundles with the keyboard and mouse.
I don’t think it was the k552 specifically
But the keyboard was mushier than play dough.
redragon sells poo bundles
k552 is cheap doe
and its good for the price
Redragon K552 kumara LED backlit mechanical gaming Keyboard (Black) The Redragon K552 kumara isn't your average gaming Keyboard. Oh and it’s a TKL, what I’m trying to avoid lol
steelseries apex 5 good option
I would have gone with the Logitech G Pro if it wasn’t a TKL lol
more expensive doe

On sale for $69 (nice)
yes
Doesn’t look like there’s any other options available in terms of keeping with the theme of components that I have lol
pretty nice and good price
whats the theme
Well I have a G502.
Black, but I’m just tired of installing keyboard / mouse software on my PC tbh lmao
I already gotta suffer with Roccat, Logitech, and Corsair fighting each other.
Oh and MSI.
lmao
…and ASUS.
try razer
I will wake the world with my Green switches. Fear me!
@rain fern Honest reason I stopped going with Razer is the jank software.
Synapse would legit cause my PC to crash.
Which was just…
so tactile
im trying to explain it like he doesnt know anything
im sure he doesnt know what tactile is
But click jackets and tactile bumps aren’t the same thing
they won’t feel the same..
im not gonna give him an essay on tactile switches
reds pretty much all blend together because they’re meant to be a smooth press down aside from like springs and materials and stuff
he just wants a recommendation for a keyboard
then why recommend a switch that doesn’t feel like blues
I uh… just to poke my head in again, i do go by they.
mb
All good!
in any case, blue switches are your best bet
I mean I could forego the numpad again and just go with the G Pro, since it’s on sale for less than $100, if worse comes to worse.
doesn’t matter what manufacturer, they’re meant to resemble each other
if you want a heavy click kind of feeling blue is the way
slight click, brown
red and yellow smooth
outemu and cherrys have diff sound profiles
Logitech G PRO Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Ultra Portable Tenkeyless Design, Detachable Micro USB Cable, 16.8 Million Color LIGHTSYNC RGB Backlit Keys https://a.co/d/g9GN8U5 this thing.
Built for pros from the bottom up. A compact tenkeyless design frees up table space for low-sens mousing. Pro-grade Clicky switches give you an audible feedback bump. Programmable LIGHTSYNC RGB and onboard memory lets you customize and store a lighting pattern for tournaments. A detachable cable ...
Best part is I can get it shipped same day from Amazon.
obviously a switch with a different housing will sound different
I can forego the numpad this time around if it means a more comfortable keyboard tbfh
but they’ll feel similar feel wise
meh
I’m so confused.
we couldve done this alot faster
I mean you’re recommending gamer gear and cheap red dragon
why wouldn’t I comment on that
ok recommend him a pcb and let him figure out how to do it
Why would I do that
lets see your good recommendations
Keychron V3 for tkl, v5/v6 for 1800/full size
no nonsense prebuilts
both are purchasable with blue switches
pretty sure they want rgb but not sure
They have rgb lighting.
V3 is on Amazon btw
mb again
Gotta try to keep it slightly under $100, cause of tax.
ones i recommended are good for budget
Akko 5087s then
but gastrail prolly knows more
im not crazy into keyboards
just know a few options
they all gonna sound the same if you dont mod them anyway
It looks kinda similar to the G Pro, oddly enough.
the keychron?
The akko
oh yea it does
it does, does not feel the same though.
also hot swap
I still have no idea how any of that works.
g pro uses wack proprietary switches and odd keycap sizes
yea its gross lmao
hotswap just means it uses hotswap sockets so you can swap switches whenever you want
very handy if you break a switch somehow
Hmm.
or just want a different feel
If a board needs mods to sound good, it is poorly designed
Atleast in my opinion :^)
not the board, just the case. but usually cheaper brands use crap pcb so your right
Now I know how people feel when I try to explain pc components to them.
