From what I remember of Linus on WAN Show they added a zipper to the bottom of the screwdriver pocket and added a small pocket for an AirTag. Teaser video also explains they replaced the metal loops on the side with fabric ones, and changed the panel on the back that slides onto carry-on luggage

I’m still on the fence but probably will try it. Have a battle tested Dakine backpack of 12 years now that has most of the features and that the ltt doesn’t.

I’d like to have tried In person again my current backpack but no way in hell was I gonna drive to Bc from Portland for that.

The big attraction would be if it was able to carry my work MacBook Pro 16 and personal 14” a bit more cleanly

I can post pictures but I bought in 2010 so unsure of the model.
It has a padded laptop sleeve, padded tablet sleeve, sunglasses, exterior psu pouch, exterior water bottle holder, document sleeve (think like the passport but larger), chest strap, (mine fell off after so many years). There’s four main divisions: laptop sleeve, main pouch, secondary pouch and the exterior pouch were pens sleeves are, mini pockets etc.

Obviously someone on the LTT crew was filming the whole pop-up event but I wonder whether they’ll release a longer video than the short showing things like the Linus demo, the other merch on sale etc

It’s traveled with me at least 15 states, three provinces, and Europe. It’s my carry on and started as the pack is wear skateboarding to work. I haven’t been gentle with the bag as it’s been tossed around in cars, overhead bins, under seats, and so forth. So it’s battle tested. I got my $90 worth.

The ltt pack might be a nice replacement. This pack I got working at the university of Oregon book store. Ironically I caused a kerfuffle with management as we got as perk half off any one item and two $10 gift cards meant so we’d by UO merchandise. I already had a lot having graduated not long before and used my 50% off on the pack.

Anyhow too much on a non ltt pack.

Probably will get the pack as I want something that might be not as beat up for travel, especially if it easy packs a 14 and 16 in computer as I travel often with dual MacBooks Pros for work.

Shipping paths can sometimes be wild and appear wildly inefficient, but might ultimately be efficient in a bigger picture when the delivery service is accounting for the hundreds or thousands of other packages. e.g. your specific package might take a scenic route because that way they can use preexisting routes and ultimately save fuel
