after some months of owning my LTT mousepad, i finally cleaned it as it was getting dirty. I forgot to check if there was any cleaning guides, and instead just went with my normal method which is laundry detergent powder, warm water and a sponge to rub it around. Is this right, or should i have cleaned it using another method? I've seen some say they clean theirs using soap.

I don't think it has any official certification but I can assure you it's perfectly safe

It's also really easy to clean compared to other bottles, so bacteria etc won't build up inside

Ist the warranty, my main concern other than foot comfort is how long the sock stays up without rolling down. For work I wear boot sock exclusively so that's 6 pairs of boot socks in rotation worn 5-6 days a week. Properly maintained and washed inside out, the smart wool still holding good but the darn toughs still feel almost new after over 2years. I used to replace my work socks yearly before I got into better quality socks. The smart wool ones are still of good quality but there's zero reason not to go darn tough, a company not owned by a big conglomerate

Does anyone know what I should do if I've got an order that is just taking so long? I'm in NZ and it hasn't even cleared US customs yet and its been 52 days... 40 of those have just been it being sent back and fourth between two USPS warehouses about 12 km apart. I know there probably isn't anything that LTT can do but I emailed LTT support last week on Monday after the package carriers (ascendia, usps) basically just said to contact the other one and I (ironically) got an email from LTT asking me to review what I had bought.

I really just want my order and it kinda feels like one of the carriers have messed up bc they have retrospectively changed the tracking log a few times

and of Wizmo, Ascendia, USPS all have either different dates or stages and none of the three logs really line up properly

I would have expected the bottle company they use to be good enough quality to withstand the dishwasher for the seal. Yeti and the 2020 and newer Hydroflasks claim to be dishwasher safe. I put my yeti in the dishwasher a tone since it has no design printed on it to worry about fading and it’s had no issues. Usually it’s the design on mugs and stuff I worry about, since they fade or chip.

Hmm LTT lists the same 18/8 stainless steel that Yeti uses, so unless there is something else special Yeti does I bet the seal isn’t a big concern in the dishwasher. Maybe it’s mostly an issue for possibly fading / damaging the design on the bottle.

That's how we wash things like waterbottles and beer growlers. As long as you use hot water, good quality soap, and don't let the container sit for too long with something sticky inside, they clean up fine.

I think luke has expressed on wan show that he really really doesnt want shopify to be caught up in some major scandal that would result in him and his team needing to make their own payment processing stuff.

Seems to me thered be a lot of legal liability and security headaches to do something like that properly for no real benefit of using what already exists, and I'm sure they have plenty of other stuff on their plate anyway.

That’s not to make it sound easy, for sure Shopify handles a tone for you even outside of payment processing. It’s a lot of things and you need to be doing so many sales that it’s cheaper to hire dedicated people vs paying the fees.

To think paying a company to handle something complex for you is “embarrassing” is silly. Pay pros todo stuff for you so it’s done right and likely save you cash unless you are so big you can afford todo it. (Just like paying a cloud provider)

If you love the design I'd say go for it.

They are on the thick side, so that's deff up to opinion for what you like. I found the material a little course for my licking as well, so next mouse pad will no be from LTT but I don't regret my purchase at all. I love the design of the GPU wasteland mouse pad I bought, so I'll likely keep it for my work desktop. I don't use the mouse a tone at work, so I can keep it on display that way.

I'd say the quality is top notch, if you like the material and thickness is going to be 100% opinion.

For US it’s typically beginning of August but varies a lot by school district (county)

It does vary by district, many states actually have rules or something that schools start after labor day though. For instance, in Michigan, first day of school for most districts was September 7th in 2021

also this is fairly new as in the past it was usually within the last week of August...back when I was in school everyone complained that we went back for a week or a few days then had a holiday immediately.

Probably safe to assume that it would come by that time, mid-late august....also assuming it arrives in port and is then delivered to the warehouse. Linus has said he doesn't want to sell something that isn't in their hands. I believe the shirts are a little different because they are doing print runs of what gets ordered (could be wrong on that though)

Also another question is the chest size the circumference of the chest or the height of the shirt like letter A in the image above. The width isn't a big issue but the height is.

yea, its standard bit diameter, the bits are just shorter so if you byo then you might only fit 6 instead of 12 in the handle
