I belive this decline happens far more often with international purchases, since prepaid gift cards don't have the typical KYC data attached to them and can be used for money laundering.

Yeah I'd hope people have a bit, but I have seen some items come in stock and go out within minutes of posting. But Linus has made it sound like they have a lot of money locked up in some big orders, so I bet chances are high it'll be in stock for a few days or at min for a few hours not minutes. These are high valued items as well, so I don't think everyone watching will be jumping to buy it right away.

I double checked looks like I scaled it all the way down to every 10mins to make sure it fit in free tier, if I have time today maybe I'll alter it for Friday afternoons to increase in frequency around WAN show since that's when the most drops seem to happen.

There are some APIs, but they are pretty limited for public. If you make a shopify app the store adds than you get way more access, that's why I was thinking about making one of those. Other shopify stores could then just install my app and connect it to their own discords and get the advantage of push vs pull notifications.

If anyone at LTT happens to read this channel and would be interested in making an official one I'd be down todo it. Ideally an open source repo anyone can contribute to and reuse, but even if it was closed source I think it'd be nice todo since several ppl here have said they buy when I post the in stock / new items in channel.

I kinda feel like theres an implied warranty on pretty much all LTT merch with the way they speak of support helping out, it's just not something they want to make entirely official due to obvious potential for abuse. That said, I believe they're exploring what they can do in the specific case of the screw driver. Linus is definitely wary of lifetime stuff leading to some horror story of an 80 yo him being stuck personally packing up screwdrivers or something, but they're looking into what they can do and I suspect they'll do something in an official capacity.

I scrub it out with a brush. The lid itself gets pretty gross so I had to find a brush with long enough bristles to get into the rubber seal and scrub out the mold or whatever that builds up. I do also vigorously shake it as part of rinsing it until it comes out with no suds

Hey, if I recall correctly Linus said on WAN show some time ago, that it is indeed caused by the hand oils, but he claimed that they have fixed it. As for myself, the support offered me another bottle and I took the black and white one, so that is one I can vouch for. But the problem should have been only present with the gold colour, so you should be able to choose from all the new colours

They’re pivoting to their own in-house 60/40 blend now

Though I will say, those AA blanks are my absolute favorite.

They’re super soft, and I love the fit.

They’re the gold standard for t-shirt blanks.

It is cotton, So it will shrink a lil after the first wash but after that all good

For best results, I’d recommend washing cold and drying low (or hanging). But mine have been holding up well and I haven’t exactly been babying them.

yeah Where I live we use full cotton which shrinks considerably, These are less shrinkage as its 50/50

So I have an idea for the backpack's future iterations. I sent an email to support at the store, and they said they'd send it to the designers, but I wanted to see if other people like the idea too.
I wanted to see if they could put MOLLE/PALS webbing on the backpack. I know it couldn't be done on this run of them, but I was thinking it'd be cool to have colored strips for the webbing to add some flair to the outside of the pack. Maybe some retroreflective too to increase visibility at night.

That would be nice. Here in the Netherlands it's quite normal to go cycling with a backpack and especially at night it's nice to have. My current backpack the Targus AC0063 has it.

My biggest concern with the LTT backpack is the Handle. My backpack currently has a nice iron strap through it sealed in with plastic and a rubber handle around it

Hey all. Loving the look of the LTT backpack (to replace my GoRuck GR1 i've had for a good 7-8 years). Biggest question mark around it for me is the waterproofing level. I commute via motorcycle to work with a laptop, and i've dealt with my fair share of wet laptops in the past 😂 Rekon they'd survive torrential downpour and not soak through? (Sydney is basically south east asia at the moment with the rain we've had recently)

Linus has said he rides with it, looks pretty heavy duty nylon material that should be resistant, also uses the waterproof/resistant zippers but yea could be an idea to back that up with one of those removeable rain covers.

Taxes for your country are calculated at check out when you pay. It adds 20% for the UK, so I believe it'll do it at whatever rate VAT is in Portugal
