Got few t shirts and old design underwear today. Mostly happy, although the stealth pins is more stealth than I anticipated. Conceptually cool, but in my typical lighting conditions its difficult to see the pin design at all, much less have the whole thing suitably illuminated for the logo-at-a-distance effect to work.

To be fair, international shipping costs are ridiculous: tariffs, import fees, taxes, duties and other costs including fuel, maintenance of equipment, hiring 3rd party carriers for legs of the journey, employee salaries, etc all get added to the cost by the carrier...Not a lot LTT can control about that at the end of the day.

If you are ordering from retail sites not operating in your country, they are most likely sending your shipment by air. The costs to fly cargo overseas are much higher than driving a truck within a country.

Not saying this to be a shill but with obvious bias imo its worth every penny I spent on it. Its the only mousepad I've found so far that doesn't fade out or wear out on the edges. This was after washing it out a few times, spilling food on it numerous times, and various other mistreatment;

The time I saved from not needing to remove stains from my desk as someone who is learning and working from home on top of gaming imo made it pay for itself. Especially since I got it with some other merchandise at the time;

And this was from the first batch at least 6 months ago. So while I can't say how long it will last it has lasted longer in terms of wear and not fading than any mouse pad in my life. Thats not to say there aren't other mouse pads just as good like the gamers nexus mouse pad, but at this quality you get what you pay for. Same thing with the shirts, their material is better than 99% of all the t-shirts I own months later;

And yeah I do not work for ltt (though I have applied in the past) , this is purely as a major fan who has enjoyed everything i bought from them so far in terms of merch;

realistically yes, it'd be a support contacts them and refunds if the thing evne goes through, but it's an amusing thought imo. It was mentioned on the WAN show as an answer to a super-chat that a "swacket replacement" has been ordered but they're waiting for it to be produced, shipped, and arrive. Not sure if it'll be more of a swacket-type-thing or a WAN Hoodie v2 that has also been teased for quite a while and even worn in videos, but I expect that one to be at the same/similar stage of production if it isn't that one

@desert elm depends on the dishwasher. I've been washing mine in the machine for 2 years but I'm expecting it to start to leak soon bc the dishwasher will eventually wear out the o-rings that seal it

The issue was epilepsy trigger rather than pbobia iirc. As I understand it, grids of blinking dots (which the reflective dot pattern may mimic) can be a trigger, and so the other designs that arent dot based are probably fine.

This is really the first time we've gotten a better look at the WAN V2. Personally, I think it's decent, but there's a few small changes I'd personally like to see made to it before it's launched, but I kinda doubt it since it's been teased for sooo long and I believe already ordered like....a while ago. Anyways, my only issues really are that some of the areas feel "empty" compared to the WAN V1, which I am extremely familiar with as I've been wearing it as my primary jacket since early 2016 lol. Specifically, the orange inner-hood is completely blank, which is fine, but feels like something is "missing" since I'm so used to the V1. I also would've liked more variation in design, as everything is the same gray hexagons that kinda look like they've been simply tiled like a Windows desktop background instead of being unique and purposefully-designed for that portion of the hoodie. The old one had several different design elements all over it (large gray WAN logo on back, orange neato version on front, little multi-color WAN logo, LTT logo on back left corner, LTT logos in hood, etc.). That being said, this version looks really neat too and seems to have some interesting new elements that I'd love to see what exactly they are, also idk if the now-orange inner built-in "gloves" have the option to make them "gloves" like the old one, that was kinda neat lol. Other random thing I found interesting and am looking forward to seeing is all the pockets, which reminds me: IT BETTER BE ANNOUNCED IN THE SAME WAY AS LAST TIME WITH DENNIS, otherwise I will be sorely disappointed 😠 😞 . Last random thing I brought up a while ago in Discord, there should really be artist credits on LTTStore.com, so we know who designed everything. I know Lloyd + Colin agreed a while ago, ~~maybe I'll send an email to support or something :)~~ sent an email 😁

Regardless of what happens, I'm almost definitely still going to buy one as a proper successor to my V1 (swacket is pretty different lol, also tbh V1 is still the best jacket I've ever owned so it'll be tough to beat), kinda internally pledged to not wear a jacket until it launches but we'll see how that goes 🤷

It's really not overpriced at $30 imo. Try and find a well made ratcheting screwdriver for less than around $20. Most good brands are going to be over that, factor in the cost of developing and sourcing and branding. $30 is almost guaranteed if not higher I'd be very surprised if it was $20, plus shipping. If that's too much for you, you can always go buy the bottom bin Amazon Chinese import that falls apart immediately for less than $10.

Some discussion and price comparisons made on a previous wan show (or possibly a personal stream of his) heavily implied it'd be comparable in price (and quality) to snapons, which as noted can be upwards of 100$, and even push 200 iirc.
