Fwiw pure cotton is gonna be more durable than a polyblend. The Stealth V2 was nice in that in had a soft inner, but I personally prefer the OG Stealth Hoodie which had a french terry backing (similar to your blank) and a slimmer fit than the V2. I also prefer the proper drawstrings over the mini locking ones on the V2 :P

Yeah how that process will shake out is yet to be seen. There was still a ton of undue expenses setting everything up in the first place and many other expenses beyond just the direct tariff costs complicating things. It's recognised that isn't necessarily on US buyers to bare, but these things do have a tendency to roll downhill. I gather they don't want to do anything too hastily given how often things seem to get shaken up too.

US store has always been higher prices than the global one since the split occured to my knowledge. CAD is used because they're a Canadian company and I imagine the majority of their business is within NA, and since US customers have their own site it makes most sense to use CAD for everyone else.

Fixed my biggest issue with my Commuter backpack. Designed and printed out my own support basket on the bottom of it. It makes the backpack stand up and be able to support weight

Ended up being very successful

helps keep the bottom shape/form, doesn't have any sharp edges that might rip the lining, and is very easy to print in vase mode, making it use way less material and several times less time than if it was a bulky solid part

Hope this helps anybody else who has been suffering from their commuter bag having lackluster structure when holding a laptop/tablet/other valuable items. I am grateful that, despite the several spills my bag has had off of tables, seats, couches, arm rests, and more, nothing has broken inside yet

Other than that, its been a solid bag. A few issues here and there, but considering I was a pre-order placer, its been a solid bag

Still hoping support gets back to me about the broken strap restraint though. Would like to get that replaced (and not get injured by it again)

So, I just got an email back from LTT support that they can’t help and that I should ask the community.
Last week I fell off my bike and rolled a few times on my OG backpack.
EMS did the right thing and cut the backpack straps while I was unconscious.
I’d like to keep this backpack and just repair the straps. It did a great job keeping my equipment safe and I think it might be a simple fix for someone in the right trade, but IDK what that trade is.
Pretty disappointed that LTT can’t give advice here. Hope the community can.

From what I see you need to remove the rivet, remove the stitching on the pack side, then remove the broken one. Install a new strap and reverse all the previous steps.
I offered to pay LTT to do the work, so I’m also willing to pay a repair person to do it.

I explicitly suggested they could use the story however they saw fit. Hopefully that would be the reason they would need to setup a paid repair or give guidance on parts, lengths, sizes, rivet gauges, etc.
But now that I’ve gotten the, “ask the community” answer, I’m not supper happy with LTT store support.

I’m not a lawyer, so I can’t speak with any level of expertise about that. However, I suspect any organization can work within “best effort”. When they don’t, I get a little concerned they more like the big corps of the world rather than the scrappy small businesses that think about their customers first. I’m cool to just disagree with your assessment on their reasoning, after all, they weren’t specific about why they couldn’t help. With a lack of information, the only real option we have is to speculate.

Honestly, if I was in your situation, I would try some high strength stitching

You could take the frayed edges, fold them over on top of each other, create a bent seam for a strong contact point, and then you could so/stitch both ends together with strong stitches

That's how I would do it, at least

Don't even have to sew on new ones. Just overlap the cut ends after burning the frays, and hit it with a sewing machine set to zigzag. Sew a double-walled rectangle then make an X inside it that connects the opposite corners. Voila.

Optionally use some liquid stitch to really hold the web together while sewing

This is kinda janky, but this is how I would fold the ends over, then stitch them together

So fold them in on themselves which gives 2 layers of material, lay them against each other, then do several stitches through the strap. If done right with strong materials, it should be good as new

GF has a sharp texture, because it has super small glass fibers. It feels like sand paper basically

But vase mode prints are much smoother. It really depends how fast you print and what the movements are like

Warranty is a whole thing that especially came up with regards to the backpack, which did eventually get a written warranty. Support is in general instructed to make things right if there are issues, and historically their trustmebro stance has been quite good and everyone I've heard of interacting with support has had positive experiences, regardless of the specific product at issue. I don't believe they explicitly warranty anything other than the backpacks, but that's because Linus has frequently pointed out that basically every warranty has exclusions that are essentially up to the business to determine, so if any business doesn't want to cover you for whatever reason, they essentially always have an out. In the rare cases they might not have an out, the likelihood of a consumer actually going through a legal process to force them to cover things is basically 0, and so warranties are in general pointless.

Again though, support is instructed to make things right if theres an issue, so as long as you're engaging in good faith, they've probably got your back. Linus believes positive experiences outweighs the cash value of whatever, so it's usually worth covering. It's not a blanket "yes we'll replace things no questions asked" to avoid abuse situations, but it's pretty good.

I don't think ifixit vs ltt are completely identical, so I'd go with whichever one suits your needs more. If an explicit warranty appeals to you sure you can go with ifixit, but personally I'd be comfortable with either.

Hey, quick question. At last year's LTX, I bought a Blue/Orange Circuit Board shirt (2XL) and I was thrilled with the quality. It wasn't that weird rubbery stuff that flakes off over time, etc. Are the other shirts from lttstore.com being sold at the same quality @valid pawn?

We significantly improved our printing after last years LTX. The ink we used for LTX prints were water-based ink. Its soft and blends into the fabrics but we found after few washes, the colours lost its intensity. With the new ink, I think you will like the new prints a lot better.

Decided to hop on the hype train and buy the stealth hoodie but I cant decide which jacket would fit me better. I typically wear medium jacket hoodies (Overwatch League Performance Jacket Medium just in case anyone knows that sizing). But trying to measure my chest, its more like 38-39". I designed the hoodie to be quite fitted. I'm 5'10, normally wear between small to medium. Linus and I wear medium and it fit us perfectly. If you want a looser fit, I would suggest to go one size up

Can confirm the bottles can take a somewhat heavy drop onto a hard floor and still be ok. I dropped mine the other day onto a tile floor and there is a very faint dent in the bottom which is very minimal given the force and height it fell at

I dont know if it is just me, but the price for the double walled vacuum insulated bottle is a great price. I'm a sports and camping nut and most of the high end vacuum insulated bottles are 10 to 30 dollars more expensive.

Though shipping is annoyingly expensive from most countries. That's why I have shipping addresses in multiple countries, then just ship bulk on a boat (slow but can save a lot of mo money.) (I'm used to japan and china, but Europe to USA can be bad as well). Though China to US to anywhere is way worse.
