I hate their AI stuff, but at the same time, I get it.. most of the year they need very few CS people, then a few times they just get flooded.. so either have something to try and sort through it, or every reply will take days or more as the few get swamped..
So its the lesser evil..

I've only had to use it twice now and both times I got everything resolved within 24hrs, but obviously not peek times so humans were available to respond basically as soon as the AI reached its limit :p
This is also different than a phone tree, AND from what I recall with my couple of experiences, humans reply all the time wether or not you do that.

It was a B servce + rear disks, pads, fuel filter + wiper blades (wipers werent any more expensive than doing them my self and they didn't charge for labour on them)
I took it to an independent mercedes specialist though, so all genuine parts + quite expensive labour tbh
was about to say that sounds far too expensive for that until I read mercedes and realised you knew what you were doing to yourself

Yeah, I could have got it cheaper elsewhere for sure. Honestly the parts were like 20% more than aftermarket so not too bad considering cheap items. It's the labour that was rough

Working at a Mercedes dealer, I can tell you most of the labor times are calculated for how long the car ends up sitting in a techs bay rather then actual work, which is slowly becoming more and more of an issue
Truthfully 2hrs of labor isn’t unreasonable as there just processes we have to follow for warranty/parts warranty reasons
they're independent so I hope less shitty than a main dealer, but looking at the break down of costs it all looks completely reasonable to me. Its just the actual per hour they charge is very high

but 2.75 hours for brake fluid swap, rear discs + pads and replace fuel filter

its quoted as £70 gbp which includes the brake fluid and how ever long. But once you factor in draining it, bleeding all the calipers, I think that is quite reasonable

We only charge an hour because the actual brake bleed procedure MB wants you to follow is ~ an hour
that being said it might be included also in the 1.25 hours for rear discs + pads becauase that feels slightly long
they will have followed it to spec I believe, they are a very well renowned garage. but either way its all done and paid for now, im just grateful I can pay such a bill without any worry to be honest

I've not had a bad experience with the LTTStore folks about stuff like that, BUT I generally am way to patient with merch like this.
Tbh my orders have generally been quite quick (around 2 weeks)
But personally I believe anything more than 1 month is too long
I really want the orange and the blue + maybe a purple. Will probably wait till next black Friday where they hopefully end up in the mystery driver pool
The worst part of LTTStore is ordering during big sales and it being delayed.. beyond that they always make any issues with payment or products right.. so if the worst part is just "Order and assume delays" then I'm fine with that.. Sure I wish they were better, but c'est la vie.. and ordering during non-big events I've never had anything take too long..
Actually, I lied, my biggest issue with lttstore is then spacing out sales/drops over hours/days .. if they are gonna do that they should bundle shipments by default (or have a way to do it, without hoping your ticket gets read by CS before they prepare shipping)..

I ordered a tablet from California a few years ago that crossed North America twice before I got it.. I also order stuff from a company in the US on a regular basis that says "Preparing Shipment", two weeks or so later it arrives, and a week after that changes to "Shipped" or "Delivered" ..
Defending this in any fashion is fangirling at best
But again 100% someone needs to find out what the issue is with your shipment and where the holdup is.. and then try to resolve it, both for you and for future shipments to others..

you have no idea how shipping works my dude, wizmo does not deliver the package to the destination...they drive their truck to the LTT warehouse, pick up a bunch of orders, drive it to the fedex depot, and drop it off...in the same town....on the same day, or at worst the next day
so the package still has to traverse the entire fedex shipping network after wizmo drops it off

Also wizmo don't pick it up and drop it off right at FedEx... They take the pallet of packages to their own warehouse, unpack it, sort it and then FedEx or whoever else picks it up from there

this is a failure of the vendor (aeronet) to properly hand the shipment off to fedex
sorry for assuming they were using the same bulk shipper for the US warehouse. Not much is known about it to those that don't order from it
which is an issue between LTTstore and aeronet - not the customer
functionally aeronet lost the shipment
so lttstore needs to escalate with aeronet to either find it or replace it
waiting around doing nothing and hoping it turns up is not a solution
I promise you if you've contact them, they're not waiting around doing nothing
they are literally doing nothing
For now, the best course of action is to continue monitoring the tracking.

if they are not located within some reasonable amount of time, aeronet must reimburse lttstore the full insured value of the package
and lttstore ships out a new one
on a more positive note, my second order arrived today. wizmo still sucks. that is all.
I had a freight forwarder damage a package in transit, when the customer notified me I opened a case with the insurance provider
I had a full reimbursement in under 24 hours
its not rocket science
so wizmo dropped off my package with postnord. postnord contract to aramex in australia (for my delivery anyway), and aramex fucking suck because they frequently lose packages and don't take accontability, and drivers have been known to either steal packages or deliver them to the wrong address.
luckily, it was handed over to australia post since i added my pick up package PO box.
this is an unacceptable response after almost a month, just eat it and ship a new one, work it out with aeronet behind the scenes so the customer isnt left in a lurch
drove to the pickup point, entered my code - and grabbed my water bottle, bits, and cable management kit.
also the 1.8L water bottle can double as a weapon. that thing is HEFTY.
as an example i just ordered a pair of prescription glasses
they were made in 3 business days and are already in the mail
lttstore needs to shitcan this logistics handling stuff and enter into direct relationships with their carriers
wizmo and aeronet suck and are really hurting their brands reputation

If I could get the same level of service from LTT's contracted delivery partners as i get from other places i order from, i'd order more frequently.
for example, i order my horror shirts from ruckingfotten once a year during their holiday sales. $60aud (55cad, 40usd) for shipping and it's here in 4 days.
i put off buying shit from ltt purely because wizmo lack any transparent communication.
i put in a ticket to wizmo about my last package and they didn't even bother replying
edit to the main comment - added LTT's delivery partners because the blame isn't fully with LTT. they just use cost effective services.

You can use non-LTT metric hex bits with the Screwdriver, long as they’re magnetic

And it's not just LTT stuff either. I have placed multiple orders with multiple different merchants over the month of December. Some take my money, generate a tracking number, and the item starts moving within 24 hours. Some take my money, generate a tracking number, and the item isn't picked up by the courier for days or weeks. All depends on how busy everyone (read: usually the courier) is when you place your order.

Actually, 1 business days (or possibly 0) in Canada. Lots of businesses observe December 26th (and the 27th when it falls on a Friday) as [un]official holidays. Even if Creator Warehouse were operational, who knows if all of their fulfillment / shipping partners were on those days.

thing about it is Fedex, UPS and USPS systems are all Automated.
Package comes in and a human put it on a belt, the system will turn/flip/whatever needed to scan the deleviry address and sort it.
So if it is USPS Pick up or Fedex Pick up or even UPS Pickup the Driver will scan all Packages, go to next stop and rinse and repeat.
I have seen it working retail, and IT Support where i have to ship things.
This is the way of things.
Now on to the 2 week or more gap between Label Creation and USPS Accepting the package.
What that looks like to me and others that i have shared it with even Postal Workers, Someone hand carried it to thier local Post Office.
so the LTT Logistics Partner is a Person when storage that once a week or whenever they can goes in and process orders.
IMO, not a dedicated Warehouse with Staff processing orders both in and out.

both "popped up" at fedex on the same day despite leaving LTTStore's warehouse via Aeronet 23 days apart
so Aeronet lost the package on the left for 23 days and only "found" it again when my replacement order also went through
also important to note, the package went from shipment created, to picked up & dropped off via Aeronet at FedEx within the same day
so tl;dr all of LTTStore's logistics partners suck, FedEx didn't do anything wrong
100% of this order originated from their US warehouse in Georgia so there's no weirdness about international shipping
and having the same items resent after almost a month arriving in under a week illustrates the problem, so anyone saying "hurr durr its the holidays expect things to take longer" can suck a fat one and shut the hell up

To be clear, I agree that shipping delays suck - I myself am still waiting on something to "ship" that I bought directly from a rather large multi-national audio manufacturer over 2 weeks ago. But sometimes correlation is causation - this busy time of year could be the root cause.
Based on the information available to me and my experience working with logistics partners, all signs point to Aeronet indeed being the guilty party here. Without knowing what contracts were signed alongside what agreements were made, it's all just speculation to suggest they switch fulfillment partners, but I too think Aeronet might be the one dropping the ball on Creator Warehouse and their customers. 🙁
I'm just happy to see they offered to re-ship your order, though how they expected you to refuse the first shipment if it arrived is beyond me... you can't really refuse a shipment that doesn't require a delivery signature. 🤔

there is plenty of evidence of people ordering after I placed my order, being fulfilled via Aeronet from the GA warehouse, and receiving it before I received mine
so whether it's the holidays or someone taking a smoke break and forgetting to load the packages, either way, someone at Aeronet fucked up and dropped the ball...so to say "its ok, it's the holidays" is bullshit and they need to be held accountable

Our ex-military shipper/receiver retired, and the new person really um... ahem I don't know if they were all there, because they frequently "forgot / misplaced / mislabelled" way too many outgoing store to store transfers that all the other stores in our district kind of stopped calling us for transfers. 🤣 If that's what did, in fact, happen with your / other's Aeronet packages... that's 110% a manglement problem that Aeronet needs to fix, lest they start losing contracts with their clients. (Creator Warehouse, and whomever else uses them for fulfillment.)

I started working for a company last year where I’m responsible for a lot of purchases. I’d like to order several screwdrivers for our employees, and possibly some bags as well. However, dealing with the double taxation issue is too much of a hassle.
I’ve already had to handle this problem with my personal orders, and it was frustrating enough that I’ve stopped shopping from LTT altogether until the issue is resolved.

I find this section in the FAQ extremely confusing. It says they are required to collect VAT and are prevented from reporting it, but are also not part of the program. Which makes me assume that the collect the VAT, but what happens to it?

I've had the issue where they declared my 130€ order as 300€ due to some issues with CAD being declared as USD.... and have been waiting on a response from them for 2 weeks already. I have not even been refunded the full VAT I prepaid, let alone the ridiculous extra VAT I had to pay. Sent another email a few days ago but still nothing. I'll most likely need to do a chargeback if I dont get a response by the end of this week

I can't help but think they are loosing out on a lot of businss because of it. If I had confidence everything would go smoothly, I would place a rather large order for work for a lot of screwdrivers, backpacks, tech sacsks etc. Not to mention the cables that are soon to be released.
for big orders you would get hit by customs and VAT by your own postal company anyways just due to the size of the order I assume
you would just deal with your postal service for that, BUT you would have to request a refund for what you prepaid to LTT since they charge that when you order

Not to mention, I am not sure if the limit is 3 000 NOK pr. order or pr. item in the order.

I just looked it up. My local postal service charges about 6 EUR for items that costs 42 EUR-253 EUR. But then if the item costs more than 253 EUR they charge 24 EUR. That is for up to 3 products. After that, they charge you an additional 2.5 EUR pr product you buy.
I think you also might have to pay the local postal service for storing the item for you.
That means that in theory, if you were to order a 100 screwdrivers, they should only chage you 6 EUR in processing fees, but I bet they will charge you 24 EUR in processing fees.
In theory, you can declare it yourself. If you do the job yourself, they _only charge you 14 EUR for doing the job for them.
You have an option to put VAT in Shopify or turn it off. For example LTT didn't charge me VAT, but my customs in Serbia did. On the other hand when I built website for my friend we let Shopify charge the VAT.
You just need to turn on VAT charging for every single country. The problem is that you as a seller don't know if the VAT percentage is correct, and since they are doing worldwide shipping I guess they didn't have time to check all countries VATs and turn it off. Also there are some exceptions to VAT which I don't know if Shopify takes into account. For example in my country VAT is 20% but in some cases for some essential goods it is 10% and for some medical services it's 0%. Just to name a few.
Another reason is probably how VAT is calculated. For example in Serbia. If you order something for 80$ with shipping cost 20$, so in total you paid 100$. You pay 10% for custom.
100$ + 10% = 110$
Then on 110$ you pay 20% VAT.
110$ + 20% = 132$
So when calculating price of goods you multiply the cost you paid on website with 1.32 to get the price with customs and VAT.
In other words in Serbia you pay VAT even for customs. The problem is that Shopify doesn't offer an option to charge you customs fees like for example Amazon do.
Don't get me wrong the LTT store shipping/VAT experience is ASS but (specifically around VAT) im sure if there was an easier solution, they would have done it. Imagine how many man hours go into verifying double VAT payments and refunding them. Sure its probably only a couple minutes for each, but the amount they must do will not be insignificant

The bill was due 2 days ago and I received it today because it was sent on the 16th and naturally there's plenty of delays this time of year. Quite upset about this honestly.
But like, I don't understand how it's possible the value in USD becomes more than the value was in CAD to begin with
their shipping partner messed up. My 215 CAD order was declared as 300 USD. So I was hit by quite a bit more VAT (and actual customs tax as well due to it being declared >150€). Been waiting for a response from their support for 2 weeks now. Even resent an email on Monday but still nothing

I believe sale items (or free items in bundles) are declared as a value (or full value in the case of an item on sale) on customs etc, so maybe with that your total would be near 800CAD, and it got mis declared as USD (which is what happened to loads of people)
for example on lime day I bought a WAN backpack which included a free K70 TKL.
The keyboard was declared with its MSRP (roughly) on the package, so I paid VAT on it when it hit the UK
yeah this was mentioned in the email I received but I never received any follow up or a refund. I was in contact with UPS about the issue now figuring I might as well resolve it without having to deal with refunds or paying more bills and was told it should be all good and that I'd receive an email confirmation about it. No email yet but I'll call them in the morning if nothing has arrived by then

I personally got a refund but I don't know why. UPS charged me well, because I saw the post on reddit saying they are charging in USD and I told them when submitting documents that invoice is in CAD. Unfortunately the bill for customs and VAT came after LTT issued a refund. I got a feeling that LTT issued a partial refund to everyone.

Check with neighbors, just in case, then contact the courier / postal company that claims to have delivered it. Simply state the facts: it was not, in fact, delivered to your hands, and you did not, in fact, find it at your door, so where was it delivered exactly and what proof do they have they delivered it to the rightful recipient? If they can't produce proof, escalate up the chain. If that goes nowhere, contact LTTStore support. 🙂

Just had to rewrite this entire message because my last one got removed since I put a link to another tracking website by Spring GDS that is blocked here for some reason. Anyhow, here goes again.
I assume you are in Europe. If so, the PostNL service Wizmo use is called PostNL Gateway to Europe. Basically your parcel sits in a warehouse in Canada, until a minimum amount of parcels that fit together for a flight to Europe are there. Only then will they fly out to the Netherlands and then each be sorted by country and shipped to the destination country. I find the part that adds the most time is your parcel sitting in Canada waiting for other parcels, as after it looks like it leaves Canada in the tracking, it comes pretty quickly after. Also I find that that time waiting for other parcels destined for Europe can vary wildly.

It’s not, but it’s of a different (100% cotton) composition than the standard custom blanks (60/40 cotton/poly).
IIRC they switched to custom blanks in 2022, but they had old stock for some designs that lasted longer.
Does the "Blank T-shirt Short Sleeve" have a traditional fitment, like if i traditionally wear a size large in most US shirts, would i also buy a large in the t-shirt?
Probably.. they do include measurements for most of their clothing linked on the product page.. which could help too.. I have always got the same as I'd get in store and haven't had an issue, or at least haven't had them tight which can sometimes happen with other brands..

I wash everything cold.. and have for longer than I've watched LTT so lol
I normally would, but my preferred detergent can leave marks sometimes when washing cold, i also have scent based sensory issues so i'm not fond of switching detergents

Have any of you guys had issues with them shipping your item? I’m still waiting on my prismagic screwdriver and it was ordered on the 28th. I sent an email to lTT support 2 days ago and have heard nothing back. I also made sure it was sent to a real person and not just the AI chat bot.

Its been a while since I got my commuter, but I think there is an air bag or something inside the bag.. and they probably don't want to take out out to put a dock box in there to rattle around during shipping and potentially get damaged.. I think LTT has put stuff inside backpacks before if that stuff would reasonably fill it or is something like clothing where it isn't an issue..
