The alternative was waiting for all of the waves to arrive, which would mean nobody would have their bags now. Either way, this conversation is devolving into ad hominem and needs to stop. Ecommerce logistics are exceedingly difficult, especially at Creator Warehouse's scale. Trying to provide an estimate with so many moving parts give me a headache just thinking about it... you've got initial order quantities, manufacturer lead times, sea shipping, port backlogs, final assembly/packing, cross-border transportation (and customs) and finally shipping couriers. I'm glad this isn't my job, lol.

Seen reports of folks in the forums having upwards of a month to get a customer service reply for an in stock item.

Decreasing customer service response time is an objective improvement that could be made internally by the warehouse.

To be fair to the small staff, on top of that we have a historically volatile international situation which makes this impossible for anyone to fix sooner than later.

Patiently happy to wait on the screwdriver delay, that is 100% the fault of the country making the unwarranted tariffs.

Overall, seems it’s an unfortunate situation of a well meaning small company dealing with an absurd online demand with not enough capital to fix it during a historically unprecedented time.

The MBP 16” is no longer officially supported, and they removed 16” laptops from their marketing all together. They’re offering refunds to people that bought it for the MBP 16”.

It might fit, but there’s some variance between items based on stitching, and it’s a snug fit in some and doesn’t fit others.

I was in a similar situation as well. Hopefully the Jansport Big Student is still as durable as it was when I got it back in high school, because I got another one of it. Something you should be able to do for cleaning inside the bit holder is a small wire brush or pipe cleaner, like you might use for cleaning straws.

I don't think it can get in the ratchet but if it does you're almost certainly SOL.

It should be fine in an ultrasonic cleaner as it's basically just ABS plastic, but from what I can find it's not that you can't submerge it in the bath but that an ultrasonic might not be that good at cleaning it beyond light contamination (ie, if a bit of sewage dribbled on it you're probably fine but if you have significant amounts on it you'll need a different approach)

The plastic is labeled as being used for "automotive fasteners" in the docs I found so go get some plastic clips from O'Reilly and chuck 'em in. If you don't see warping / melting of plastic you're probably in the clear.

Got my commuter backpack. With the 16" Macbook Pro issue, was wondering if my work's 16" Dell Precision would fit, but it seems to fit perfectly fine. Is the Macbook Pro that much bigger?

If it's any consolation... while I like the concept of a black shafted screwdriver, I can confirm that it's easily scratched up with regular use. (Not a complaint - it's normal for tools to get banged up with use.)

It does not affect the functionality at all though, of course. Still my daily go-to screwdriver at home and work.

I love your desk mat - and so does my cat! And therein lies the problem. ^^

Do you think it would be possible to design a desk mat that’s cat-proof? My cat loves getting on the desk mat for cuddles, and that’s when she starts kneading (or as I like to call it, "biskiting"), which means her claws dig into the fabric. No matter how often I put her down or try deterrents like citrus scents - or even white vinegar - she doesn’t care. She always ends up back on the desk mat… her absolute favorite spot.

Honestly, I don’t even know why I spent good money on that stupid cat tree!

But yeah, if a cat-proof desk mat is possible, I’d really appreciate it. ^^

Sadly, that’s not an option because:

1. I live in Switzerland - which means I have to pay for the desk mat plus shipping plus customs. So yeah, not exactly a cheap solution.
2. Even if I went through all that, we all know how this ends. She (my cat) will just end up owning both desk mats. Because cats are greedy little, fucked-up demons who take whatever they want.
3. And most importantly - do we really want to let cats win? I say HELL NO. Cats have defeated us time and time again simply by being adorable little shits. But this is the 21st century.... We have science and we have engineering! There is no way I’m accepting that a creature with a brain the size of a walnut should reign victorious over us just because it has sharp little daggers that can tear through fabric (and our skin) like butter.

So yeah, cat-proof desk mat would really be nice.
