I don't expect to get that mail in a newsletter, if it's a huge design flaw (which the carabiner v1 is) I expect to receive mails as a owner of said item - just like the time where they offered a 25 usd coupon because the backpack was in fact not dual layered. Which I even find less of an issue compared to the carabiner which goes 180° against the "made to last" philosophy of the backpack.
Something like "yea we made a mistake, here's a link to get your replacement kits, if you want"
Especially since it was said that "replacement zipper pulls will be send out to every backpack owner" in a Wan show, another reason I don't actively look into the faq or whereever I would have found the form - when I don't know if they are even finished yet, i only got back to that topic because I saw that new backpacks have the new design and that someone mentioned the topic here in this channel, otherwise I wouldn't have realized it for quite a bit longer that they actually offer replacements now.
You know what I'm trying to say there?

come back in stock according to staff, and it never did. And all the button up shirts and other alternatives I've considered to date have had the exact same thing happen. They sit on "backordered" for months than disappear. Their inventory management is really lacking. At this point I shoot just ask for a refund but it's been so long I'm not sure it's even possible.

commuter backpack delayed.
