It is, objectively, a very good, high-quality tool compared to the competition (see the Project Farms comparison video). However, the question of whether or not it’s worth the money is entirely subjective to each person

If you rarely use screwdrivers to begin with, it’s not worth the money unless you have the money and want to support LTT.

As someone who uses a screwdriver on a regular basis for hobbies and home improvement, and who wanted to support LTT, it was absolutely worth the money to me.

Fair enough. You may need to use a Primer agent / adhesion promotor to make the VHB tape stick to whatever material is on the outside of your desk. NOTE: attempting to remove VHB may cause damage to the surface.

Ah yeah, if you mean the weird slightly smooth but also slightly rough wooden underside of most low - to - mid range $$$ IKEA desks, nothing really sticks to those for long. I own a LINNMON desk - stuff is screwed into the bottom of it (using 1/4 inch Roberston screws), in addition to various adhesives and glues.

@wise saddle Did you just get the regular plates or the red VHB plates? The adhesive on the standard plate is intended to keep them in place while you screw them in, not to hold the plates on permanently. The VHB plates are a more permanent solution, but still best to screw in if you can.

My issue with using the ltt bag for what I'm doing is mostly the 2 main pockets don't seem to work well for packing several days of clothes. Because you can't fully hinge them open you can't compress your shirts and stuff flat to keep em from getting wrinkled as you stuff em in from the top

Anyone with a Scribe Driver, do you know if a Pilot Frixion Refill will work in it? 🤔 I know nothing about pens. I'm not a pen person so "Parker G2" doesn't make sense to me.

Just search Amazon or whatever for Parker G2 Refill and it'll take you to what you need.. others may fit, but these are guaranteed..

G2 is generally the size of the refil, the important difference to keep in mind that Parker G2 cartridges are roughly 98mm in length, with a 5.8mm diameter (98mm X 5.8mm), whereas Pilot's G2 cartridges (especially the Frixion ones), are based on the European G2 spec, which has a longer cartridge length coming in at roughly 110mm by 5.8mm. Some Euro G2s are based on Japanes refills (like the FriXion one you are interested in), and that is potentially incompatible because there is a plastic ring near the base of the cartridge

So, to summarise, it might be compatible, but I highly doubt it given that there would have to be over 1cm of space inside the action of the pen for it to fit, not to mention it would have to accommodate for Japanese refills too if that were the case.
