Hololive is a far larger organization with far more employees, a much larger product catalogue, and therefore they probably have the ability to swallow the cost of cheaper, faster shipping, warehouses, etc

LMG by comparison is much smaller, has very small, very niche product catalogue, and isn't in a position where they can afford warehouses, cheaper/faster shipping deals, etc

Yeah I think the automated response doesn't get adapted when theres delays. Depending on time of day when you might have sent it you might be at 5 business days right now (cuz remembrance day means theres one less), and then if you tack on 'a few days' from the banner then it's within scope. Response time estimates are indeed something they have acknowledged could use some work though.

I think I have historically had gaps of up to 2ish weeks between the 'processed for export' from the US until there is the 'landed at Sydney' notification. then from there its generally handled by Auspost (I use a parcel locker) and i get it within a week of it landing (east coast of Aus).

Hm, I have a question regarding the backpack volume

the website says it's 25.5L internal volume, 35L external size

but that internal volume seems reallly really low considering just generally looking at it

and also the external dimensions

they are given as:
Height: 18.75" / 47.63cm (excluding handle)
Width: 13" / 33.02cm (excluding straps)
Depth: 11.5" / 29.21cm

so the box containing the backpack has a volume of ~45L, it's understandable that the internal volume would be much smaller

but looking at a random other backpack, https://www.samsonite.pl/spectrolite-3.0-laptop-backpack-expandable-17.3---czarny/137260-1041.html?cgid=backpacks_laptop-backpacks for example

it has dimensions of 46 x 32 x 24 cm, so it fits in a box of ~35L volume, whilst having an advertised volume of 30.5L?

and it's much less boxy than the LTT backpack (so I would generally expect it to have a worse box volume to internal volume ratio) and generally looks smaller

but yet the advertised internal volume is a whole 20% larger, whilst the "box" volume is 10L smaller

I think its been talked about on WAN but they give conservative volumetrics on purpose as above there are many ways to measure volume, plus also some airlines don't really care about that and only worry about max external dimensions. from my use I can fit a weekends worth of clothes in there along with some headphones in the main compartment. then yea chargers and laptop in the back and still have it fit under seats on a plane (717, 737, a220, dash 8 the ones I have personally done).

The half moon flap on one side of the package had become torn, and exactly how this has happened, I dunno. However, customs have not opened the packet, so either it was damaged already on packaging, or it has somehow gotten damaged in shipping. The missing half moon was found in the bottom of the box.

Almost all.. Mystery Bottles can still have a chance at V1.. but if it breaks you can just put in a ticket and they will send you a v2

As for restock, no one can really say.. LMG has been all over the place with stock, how much and when, this year.. so much so its been a topic a few times on WANShow over some of their orders being far too conservative.. and even before that they were not always quick on restocking or consistent..

My interpretation of the notice banner saying "new orders will not be shipped via canada post..." is that it's only possibly existing orders impacted by the strike, but new orders will just end up going through fedex or ups or similar. I don't know who is eating the extra expense there in situations when Canada Post would otherwise be the cheapest option, but for new orders it sounds like stuff will still get to people in an expected time frame.
