The cable tie ones don't surprise me, imho those are the breakout most universally useful one of the set. The Arches are nice and all, but the cable tie ones are just so efficent for managing anything out of site or rarely going to be changing. Glad I added extra to my order too.

iFixit bits are 4mm, standard hex bits are quarter-inch, so you'd need an adapter (included with some iFixit kits). LTT Screwdriver isn't suited for precision work so you might want to hold off until the Precision Screwdriver launches

and yes, the holes come back. 3 of 3 of the grey polo's I have got the hole in the same place and onle 1 of 3 of the green polo's I got have the hole in it.

Our tallies indicate that we've had that defect reported to us a total of 4 times in the last 90 days, which suggests that it's a relatively uncommon problem. Certainly it's unfortunate that you've run into this at-all, let alone more than once, but with that low of an incidence rate we don't have any reason to suspect that the Polo is fundamentally flawed in its design/manufacturing. If you haven't spoken with my team about this latest incident yet please do so and we'll ensure you're taken care of, of course. :D

Also since you mentioned passing info up the chain, just wanted to let you know that we do compile all customer feedback and share it with our design teams on a very regular basis. We won't usually be able to commit to any particular direct action, as that's not a part of our role as customer support, so I get it can feel a bit like you're shouting into the void but just know that we hear you!

I think in this case I'd echo what others have suggested and try giving your desk pad a wash. We've tried ironing them in the past but in my experience that tends to damage the rubber base which you don't want of course.

Could be a defect depending on how long you've owned it!

Hey! Has anyone from Norway ordered from the LTT Store lately? I placed an order on for some clothes at March 16th and was quoted a delivery time frame of 14-28 days. We're now at day 35. According to the tracking information provided by DHL it says "The shipment has been excluded from import into the destination country/region.". Has anyone else experienced this?

I ordered a screwdriver back in September of 2023 and besides being charged for taxes/VAT twice, it arrived within the time.

With that said, it is really weird that it would take so long for it to arrive. Are they shipping it with container freight rather than air freight?

I think the warehouse needs to test ship brand new products to Linus or someone else on the team, to ensure simple things like "Both parts are included in orders"

Basically give someone the product from the warehouse as if they were a customer to ensure that everything is as it should be and nothing was forgotten. slight delay in doing so, will prevent fixing expensive shipping errors.

Other check and balance in fulfillment that may be a good idea is having two people confirm orders, both the picker and the packer should check and confirm that each products is correct/complete etc.

It still boggles my mind they haven't done an indepth video on the Cable Management System.. I mean sure most of it is obvious, arch and all, but theres been a bunch of people confused by how the Cable Tie and Power Bar systems operate (one video posted the other day even showed a way LMG hadn't considered connecting the ties).. plus visuals of heres a Small Arch, see we can fit X cables here.. here's how much it takes to pull it off the surface, etc.. all of this stuff sprinkled with some behind the scenes of the processes involved in designing it and making it would make for both an interesting video, and good advertising..

Though at launch he talked about going around to employees houses and managing their cables with them, so its possible a video is in the pipe as part of that..

But still, I think it would have been ideal to have one at/around launch..

I got the basic bundle with extra cable ties.. the Ties are probably the most universally useful one imho, but are not ideal for areas where you are going to often want to add/remove a cable (arches are best of that), and the Power Bar and Power Block ones are amazing.. Its soo nice to be able to mound both out of sight but still be easily able to pull them off.. lets me move my laptops power bar around from desktop to recliner and both spots have a place to hold it.. or for the power bar I have it behind the desk, but I can easily pop it off and lift it up for easy access to add/remove something, and then just reconnect.. sooo much easier than with screwed in keys to hold it in place

Ya if they had Creator Wearhouse do a quick video for each product line it would be nice.. Plus they could add in some behind the scenes stuff like design process (of both item itself, and any visuals), etc..

VHB/Normal Adhesive is one that is hard to put a number on, it very much depends on what its adheared too, and how well the surface was preped..

Like to Glass the VHB will probably hold longer than the magnets.. but to a lot of desk untreated woods and other surfaces, it depends..

On their FAQ web site they say "Please note that lttstore.com is currently not a participant in Norway's VOEC". When they so clearly state that they are not part of this agreement, I wonder why they collect tax in the first place for Norwegian order.

I have never run a web shop, but I assume it should be possible for LTT Store to not collect taxes on items being shipped to Norway. It looks like they are using Shopify and my experience is that other web stores not part of that also uses Shopify and are not part of this agreement manages this just fine. Now imagine you cannot extend those fingers without force. That position is locked. Push the screwdriver through, set for a two-handed position - e.g. with your ringfinger in the indent next to the selector. That's now a tight grip.

Out of curiosity I checked how much my last order from LTT Stores would have cost if I had it sent to Jetcarrier for forwarding. LTT charged me 29 USD and JetCarrier would have charged me 36 USD for air freight and 25 USD for container freigth. So, not much more expensive for air freight. Considering the time it takes for an LTT order to reach Europe, I do believe JetCarrier would be a lot faster. Of course, you would have to pay LTT store for shipping to Delaware as well, but I assume that is cheaper than shipping to Europe.

My order was fulfilled at March 22nd and wasn't available for pickup until April 24th. My experience with JetCarrier is that they have flights going out each Tuesday I believe and the package is generally available for pick up in Oslo the next day or the following Thursday. Depending on the time it takes the order to go from Canada to Delware where JetCarrier is located, it could save some a lot of shipping time.
