In addition to that, sometimes packages really do just get misrouted, and most of the time the carrier will realize this and send it back in the right direction. I’ve had stuff ping pong back and forth across the country multiple times before they finally caught it and got it back on track. So long as the package is getting scans by the carrier, it may be annoying/inconvenient to have to wait longer for it, but I wouldn’t think it to be lost or not coming just yet.

Left versus right zipper is kinda a hold over from button positioning from ye olden times (where depending on gender one may or may not have someone to dress you), but hasn't actually mattered for most people beyond habit reasons for a long time. Slightly surprising that they aren't internally consistent, but there's no globally 'correct' side. Some people might be very used to one side or another, but that'll vary regionally so it's basically down to the whim of whatever designer.

Given that Noctua isn't a retailer/distributor, I don't think customers will be able to direct buy from them on a regular basis. It's just not what they do, and they focus on what they do best.

and the difference between ltt putting it on amazon vs noctua putting it on amazon would be negligible if any

There is a big difference. Just selling a bunch of drivers to Noctua whole sale and they put it on their regional amazon store fronts makes the whole tax issue for lmg way easier. Also lmg does not need provide warehousing etc.
Noctua even sells some fixed shaft screw drivers as well as t-shirts themselves. Lmg would just be another supplier for them

Also I would not ask if Linus wouldnt have said it on wan show some time ago that they are looking into it.

Even if it is not necessarily cheaper in the end, it would still be easier than dealing with customs...

Perfect storm kind of situation

It went into Promotions mailbox in my Gmail which I DO get notifications for on my phone, but it also came from a name I didn’t recognize (was an LTT employee’s email and just came through as firstname lastname)

I also got a couple of other emails related to order statuses within 5 mins of the initial email (one was actually from UPS for an LTTStore order 🥲) so knowing myself I probably picked up my phone, saw THAT notification instead of the one with the name and opened it, clearing all of my other Gmail notifications

So I most likely got the notification to my phone, but never saw it in the short window of time it would’ve been there

I tend not to look in Promotions because it’s all newsletters or sale alerts etc.

I have lttstore.com and ltxexpo.com set to always go to Inbox but not linusmediagroup.com because I’ve never gotten an email from there prior (which makes sense since it’s like, their internal email addresses)

yeah bit silly. i get that's probably when ces is done or something but the shirt is evergreen so doesn't really matter when people receive it. should be no issue for a longer period. at the very least they could have done it till the remainder of the voucher period

sometimes creator warehouse feels really professional for example the customer support team and those who make and design the products. and then sometimes it feels like yolo lets do something we like and who ever gets it gets it good luck which i know might be the spirit of ltt, but seems unprofessional for a store to me.

this shirt for example. some customers can only buy when they get their paycheck at the end of the month. other customers might be international and want to bundle with more products that may not be available at this time.

another example was that limited pin, not sure what it was golden controller or something like that. iirc it was gone before the wan show. which primarily viewed in north america as the rest of the world is a sleep. instead could have send out a newsletter saying guys we got this in low quality. will be for sale at this time. there may have been good reasons for doing it that way but that's just how it feels imo. anyways. just my two cents.

Depends but for most products, probably not.
Firstly the route to China to the EU isn't as simple as China to Vancouver. Direct to China on a boat, is either through panama or around africa/suez.
It would depend on order sizes. Big orders that fill sea cans may go directly, but for smaller orders, it would make more sense to consolidate various shipments from different suppliers and send it all over.
You can't get overseas suppliers to coordinate and consolidate shipments.

So I just recently got my retro edition screwdriver (woo🥳) and I was wondering if the bit holder would “loosen” its grip on the bits over time and how much, if at all. It might just be me but it feels a little difficult to get the bits in without scraping bits of plastic off of the end cap. Maybe I’m putting them in wrong? Any advice would be helpful lol

ive had the regular ltt screwdriver for 6 months, and they havent really loosened up. I havent used it very heavily though.

Yes they do loosen up a bit over time in my experience, I carry a stubby with me at all times and carry a full size in my bag and there’s a noticeable difference in the strength of the bit holders for the bits I commonly swap out vs. the more specialty ones I keep in there that barely ever see use

I just find the stubby to be harder to get the bits in and out of in general. Not sure why, but it just feels like a snugger fit for the bit clearance.

lpt: clean your bottle lids with a qtip. i wash them thoroughly every day but was shocked how much crap stays behind and is not visible

Also would recommend taking out the big seal in the spout lid every now and then and thoroughly cleaning that. That thing can get quite nasty (I use the metal spudger from iFixit to remove it)

getting a brush to clean bottles is a great idea if you use them regularly. Makes cleaning more effective and quicker. removing seals for cleaning regularly is good, and it's a tradeoff for them to be good at sealing vs easy in and out.

Finally some wet weather has hit my area. With that tested out my new 3D Down Jacket. Love the overall fit and feel. I have to wear a 3x and its not crazy big, just fits right. This is the same for all other tops from the store. But sadly there is a flaw. The hood! All other hoodies from the store are great but the 3D Down Jackets hood is HORRIBLE. Its far too large. It wants to sit just about at my nose. When attempting to close the opening it also wants to center at my nose/mouth. Luckily my area doesn't get a lot of rain. So I dont have to deal with the hood so much. Its just a shame that it was soo close to being my perfect jacket to have this flaw 😦
