i don't travel every single day with my backpack chocked-full of electronics, only every other week or so do I really need it
even then I pack my m1 mb pro, modded 3ds, anker 65w charger + cables, battery bank, Elektron Digitakt, SP404-mk2 + headphones, among other smaller external storage devices and accessories, and my drawing sketchpad
becuase of that I'm not all that concerned about completely destroying the joysticks through travel

if/when it gets to that point, I'll use that as an excuse to upgrade the joysticks to the hall effect joysticks

As an repair they basically are a no brainer.

But as an Upgrade its just not worth it.

You can pull down the deadzone on the normal sticks just as well, so no improvement there, unless the Stock sticks already are broken.

Just reducing the deadzone on a stick isn't always a good idea though. You will be increasing flick back and getting a less uniform response curve along the range of motion

Whether this matters to you or not depends

1. The way i know it the deadzone doesnt change how the stick movement is translated at all, it just adds a deadzone, f. E 10%, if you barely move outside the deadzone the input of 12% would be translated to 12%.

2. If your thing is correct, a halleffect still wouldnt change that at all. Which was my point.

The smoll door like opening Front pocket is used for usb charger incl extension, cables, and a pair of iems.

The bag of Holding for everything not listed otherwise i may Transport f. E. My Winter hoodie/jacket/thing, the small pocket there is used for like money or whatever, Laptop Part holds Laptop f. E. XD

I ordered the luxe backpack. The price isnt a consideration really. Its luggage, I decided a while ago that using conventional boxes on wheels as luggage is stupid. I want a high quality backpack that will last pretty much forever and is stylish enough to not raise too many eyebrows at nice hotels. And considering what people spend on cheap boxes for luggage the luxe backpack comparatively isn't expensive. It's all about perspective and what you want.

That doesn't really look like sun damage to me. If it were, it'd be caused by leaving your hat in direct sunlight for VERY prolonged periods of time and not from regular use. Like you'd have to let it sit on a windowsill pretty much all the time.

Serious and non-judgmental question: do you wash this hat at all and if so, how? We typically recommend washing it at least once every few wears. Recommended method is to scrub it with a brush + a solution of lukewarm water/laundry detergent and then allow it to hang dry.

launch timeframe vs brand new 900x400 pad

my old one is well worn and still very usable, but I accidentally burned some holes in it and damaged the edge stitching when it lit on fire due to an idiot friend breaking a flaming shot glass on it after I told him not to do flaming shots period xD

the old pad has been washed in the machine 3 times (the way linus said) but i didn't feel like doing it agian for the photo, it also doesn't get it quite looking like new. The front was starting to curl up a bit on this pad as well but it wasn't enough to bother me yet. We won't be contacting customers until they are ready, and that will require some additional time for manufacturing. Unfortunately there's no way around the fact that it takes a significant amount of time to manufacture close to 200,000 of these things (4 per backpack sold).

Are they made by hand? 200,000 sounds like a lot, but when you consider that there should have been a machine making these every day for over 100 days, for hours on end every day.... If there is a machine making 200 per hour for 10 hours a day (2000/day), for 100 days, they should have been made already.

Sure, but we don't know how many a machine can make a day, and it has been implied that the order number is abnormally large for the normal output. We know don't the error rate of the machine. We don't know the manufacturer's schedule and what other contracts the manufacturer must fulfill using the same facilities and equipment. It isn't like the manufacturer is going to buy new equipment and buildings to fulfill a single massive order since they likely won't see such a large order with any predictable frequency. Global supply chains don't jump because a small media company in Canada needs to ship out some carabiners. edit: missed a word

LTT is at the mercy of the manufacturer at this point, if it was up to them they’d be shipping them by now, and they certainly aren’t gaining anything by delaying their rollout. We all just need to be patient, they are coming as promised, and when they do they’ll be to the standards LMG actually wants and stands by because they took the time to ensure they’re just right.

What we do know is that time was spent on the design as well, and can presume that the manufacturer has other commitments. i have around 7 different backpacks from different brands, from cote/ciel, tnf , ltt, manfrotto,samsonite or whatever it is and some Freitag bag, considering my opinions and experience I would not buy the LTT backpack again

So it depends on what you are looking for, the LTT backpack is very big to the point that i dont enjoy it for everyday carry

but if you need a camerbag or everyday bag you should look elsewhere

But for a techbag, convention bag, travel bag or airplane bag the LTT is a must if you can afford it and want to support the brand

Maybe I should state my use case for the LTT bag. I have a lot of tech, laptop, external portable monitor, power banks, dozens of cables, mouse, AR glasses and other hardware, iPad, wall chargers, etc. This all need to come with me to Costa Rica at the end of december. I travel there every year and stay for a month visiting family and friends. I have the typical 20L Swiss Army bag that technically can hold all that equipment (Itested this, it does) but it becomes way too heavvy and unconfortable to carry., this bag was not made to carry that much weighgt.

I also have a very nice briefcase. I could also carry both the swiss army backbpack and the briefcase with me at the airport and just put in the backpack what I will need during the flight and stow away the rest in the briefcase. However, honestly I would rather just deal with one carry one instead of 2.

Also lately the swiss army just doesnt cut it when I need to pack clothes and other stuff when I take a short weekend trip to the beach for exanple while I am in CR.

So... this LTT bag, or the AER, whichever I get, wouldnt be my daily carry when I am home here in Michigan. This would be a bag I put all my tech when I am traveling abroad. For my daily when I am at home I can just use the briefcase with only my EDC and some of the tech.

The LTT backpack would need to carry for me all my tech plus a bulky leather jacket during my flights.

Based on last year though, you don't strictly need to sign up for the newletter, that'll just get you email notifications. If you're a keener you can also just refresh the store page itself or check sporadically since the active deals are typically listed on the storefront. (In some cases some super keen people managed to spot the deals before the emails even went out.)

They’re assembled cold rather than hot, but shouldn’t have noticeable quality differences. I know the one I built at LTX is immaculate. If yours has a defect that’s bothering you, I’d recommend reaching out to support.

Hmm ok thanks. I'll think about it. It works fine but when i use it as a fidget toy the ratchet will often stop. So it's no big deal but also unusual compared with my original one.

Same. My el-cheapo World Timezone Map deskpad from Amazon has done well over the years, but it's trapping dust and skin cells. Tis aboot time I upgrade to a desk pad I can drop without it breaking. 😉
