Harbor freight probably has the best warranty of all for tools, last time I got a warranty replacement they just told me to grab a new one off the shelf and leave. Literally just dropped off the broken tool, grabbed a new one, and walked right out

They made some revisions, according to Kyle. Though I don't think colour was one of them.

Jeff and a few other people mentioned that the drivers before you could rotate the bit holders (offset the bits). Newer screwdrivers have a tigher tolerance so that's harder.

nope. sounds like there might be something wrong with yours. you can always email support and ask them about. maybe add a picture or video. keep in mind they they have a backlog so response time might not be fast.

yeah idk i only dared to use a pin on my backpack once and it thankfully fell when it was at home (the backing broke) and since then i havent put it on any high traffic area bc im not losing something that expensive outside 😭

Hmm, you might want to look at pin locks for long term securement. The current pin config is for taking them on and off easily, tbh.

TIL about pin locks. I've seen them but never knew the name. Still, my biggest problem with pins and the LTT backpack is the thick padding prevents the point from making it through with enough length to catch on

definitely not knocking the padding, it keeps all my stuff safe

i probably just need a backpack specific to pins that I can just cram them all on

Yeah, that's the backdrag, iirc. afaik all ratcheting screwdrivers and wrenches have it to a varying degree.

The screw doesn't give enough resistance for the ratching mechanism to work, so you either use the knurling or turn off the ratcheting.

I don't recommend putting too much pressure on the screw/handle, it does help, but you can cause damage if the driver slips off the head.

While pricey, still one of the best screwdrivers.

yes it's probably more expensive than a similarly built product from a large brand that sells shitloads in physical stores, because lower production volume costs more, and lower sales volume means higher margins required per item to be profitable.
