I mean so much as they did more than simply slapping their logo on something. Clothing and water bottle were simple to print what they needed on an existing product. Backpack, screwdriver, and as we're seeing with other products they've discussed such as their wallet, they've done actual work that would affect structural integrity and hired people to design what they need.

Doing more than hiring a printing service. They're doing the modeling design and cad work in house.

The non-tshirt clothing stuff has been their own designed stuff (as opposed to just printing their designs on preexisting clothing), and the tshirts are presently in the process of all swapping to their stuff from AA. I'm not sure about the water bottle (which im pretty sure is their design), but the vast majority of their stuff is developed by them rather than slapping their logo on stuff, since Linus conceptually doesn't like that.

He wants his merch to be a value add to things, which you can't really do if you're just cosmetically tweaking the same fundamental product, hence his big investment into creator warehouse and jumping through all the hoops to have his own label.

Loving my LTT screwdriver (orange/black, silver) and had an idea for a bit carrier. There are a bunch you can 3d print, but not many that are very pocketable.

Idea: Take two of the 'bit carousel/cap' assemblies from the screwdriver, make a new mold of a simple cylinder or a similar profile to the screwdriver handle, and stick one bit carousel in each end. +24 bit carrying capacity, only one new mold required, and itd be the same high quality as the actual screwdriver.

Linus acknowledged that this was/could be causing confusion about the actual timing of shipment and was probably just a bad experience in the false anticipation. He mentioned that they're now trying to print the labels closer to in items are supposed to ship, but that also probably adds a tiny little bit of time to shipping.

Long story short printing your label well in advance probably would have made it ship faster, but at the suspense of not knowing when it would come

You'll have to learn a little bit about the materials and work within your pricing. And it might be hard to find the exact matches to some of the colors here. But it's not too difficult and it's actually kind of affordable.

Craft cloud we'll find quotes from different printers. In the future if you find a printer that you like you can always just order straight from them.

I disagree. I don't know what happened during this process but I had my label printed early and I've seen a ton of people with order numbers later than mine get their screwdrivers before mine even left LTT facilities.

and I was asked to pay a stocking fee

it was 35eur/day

it´s almost a month and your package hasn´t moved so there must be an issue

Also, the backpack already has some damage - out of nowhere literally (besides the carabiners which will Break for me at some point) the chest strap thing, the Rubber Band already lost 2 or 3 Rubber "fibres".

And i used it like - 2 times? I have it mounted always, but rarely closed.

And the metal adjustment things dont really keep the setting, not much of an issue, but every 3 or so days i have to readjust cause the backpack is quite far down again - and i already pay attention to how i put it on and stuff.

And the "nice and sharp" teeth like Linus said, arent sharp at all, not a bit. - but i hope i just get used to it...

The issue is, imo, the straps aren't thick enough to prevent loosening when not under pressure. The metal buckles are great, it's hard to adjust the straps under any weight but they are too thin vs the buckle to stay in place.
