Well now that I have both backpack and screwdriver. Happy to say they are both pretty sweet. But I think the screwdriver might be the better value. I feel the backpack is kinda specific to tech and traveling and when you use it more general purpose like me with school it's got things that aren't needed. As for screwdriver, if you aren't a mechanic. I think it works fantastic for everyday use with just about anything. Just a longer shaft than many alternatives

Of which tho if you are me and have extra bits. I need to find a good storage solution

But it might disappear after a few hours, and only if you are lucky you might get a letter 3 weeks later, which could end up in your package being returned.

I called a nearby parcel point because I had seen the notification that my headphones arrived there. They had my package but the app didn’t show it anymore after the notification.

Why were people so upset by the price of the backpack? It's very fairly priced, a lot of premium backpacks surpass the price of the LTT backpack even before tax and shipping. Yes, you can get a cheap backpack for 20 to 40 bucks but the LTT pack isn't meant to compete with those. This is speaking from the perspective of someone with a cheap bag.

Now we've got naysayer "experts" saying they're going to fail with labs, ignoring the fact that Linus has specifically taken to hiring experts to achieve their goal.

Yeah I would imagine the plastic/silicone seal probably dry rotted from heat. When seals aren't exercised it speeds up the process of dry rotting.

One of the many reasons why it's bad to let an old car sit.

I've had it happen to a few water bottles. They sit unused and then when I get around to using them they start leaking because the seal has gone. Is the seal on the lid or on the bottle? Because I know there's a water bottle spout lid sold on the merch site.

One thing im missing in the backpack would be a cable Management hole from the Front and/or side pocket to the inside of the backpack, i have a gan 65w charger with extension in the Front (fits perfectly in the screwdriver pocket and Looks dope) and would have loved to charge my Laptop from there.

Look at this incredible connection for the molle holder

It's clipped in with the two normal clips plus it came with these plastic not really carabiners that I attached to the webbing so that the bottle doesn't hit the floor everytime the bag is put down

Got the LTT Backpack finally, I'll make a video review and post on youtube as I have some thoughts (fairly positive). I've been using the same backpack since 2010, a Dakine that I got while working at the University of Oregon book store and used my employee discount. It had a lot of the same same features.

Well, as they're all quarter-inch hex bits, the "stem" is identical on all of them. But the labels are such that the bottom row is imperial hex, and the third row is metric hex.

I took the labels directly from the LTT site.

Have to say even though the IOSS system seems to work like ass sometimes the actual declaration process here is so nice. I'm never gonna have all 72 slots filled because twelve bits will always be in the driver but when I change out my bits I want them all to have their place.

Theres not really hard dates for the black shafts (the estimated dates provided are only for silver shafts), but a lot of people missed that part. I think there might be plans to send an email to all the black shaft buyers soon just since its a common point of confusion.

backpack feedback (gonna use it for couple weeks more before I post a review on the ltt store but I'm pretty sure about this one) -> it's not stiff enough for comfortable use with no bigger devices in the back most pockets - it's just not keeping to the stiffness of the back surface - once I put my hoodie inside and it created a noticible bothersome bulge of uneven pressure on my back

I'm kinda considering manufacturing myself a ~ carbon fiber plate to stiffen the back when I'm not carrying a laptop around ... only issue is that it's not cheap so I may just do some sort of a reinforced fibre compound on my own

Hello I have a question, does LTT mouse pads are heat resistant? I kinda would like to cover my table that I plan to use as second desk (for like keeping pc on it, cleaning and building one, some painting or maybe playing with heat guns). Table by itself is not really heat friendly 😛

I'm atm road tripping back home so I'm not really able to take pictures for the next ~ 12h - the vertical adjustment strap has extra ~ 15-20mm of length compared to the shoulder pad orange lined pocket it's in

posted that picture then - it's probably close to the lowest attachment position, you can see the buckle for the chest belt is in the pocket and yet there's still enough slack in the adjustment "strap" so that I can pull it out and have part of it hanging out

Just got my backpack. overall I like it and look forward to using it tons as a daily driver. Overall the build quality is very good and I like it. It is mucher larger than I realized.

Something I would love to see as a heavy business traveler is a backpack lite. Essentially eliminate the large cargo pocket, make the laptop sleeve area slightly larger, and keep the exterior pockets.

This way my carry on is lighter/ simpler for trips where I don't need to bring as much along with me

Mine is exactly the same and I have heard from others who got theirs at the pop-up shop who also have the same sort of thing on those ones. It's not about to come off if that's what you are worried about.
One thing I will say is that if you play with it enough, the opening and closing of the bit-holder becomes a little bit smoother and requires less force such that it doesn't "flex" that joint every time you open it.

It's the company they use for shipping, who then sub-contracts the shipment to one of the major carriers, or some such thing like that.
Try opening it on something that isn't a mobile device. I recall it doing that for me on mobile (iOS) but not on desktop.
