LTT bits are standard 1/4” hex bits. The should fit in any such case, just keep in mind they are shorter so if the case is deep they might get lost in the foam or whatever it is made of.

Yeah that doesn’t surprise me. Not something I need though. I bought the Torx and the specialty set, but I probably didn’t need them. The standard set has most of what I need, and for everything else, my iFixit kit probably has it, and they even have a 1/4” adapter for their bits.

I’m sure I’ll use the other sets for the superior magnet pass through though.

The intent of them is just to 'lock' the two sides of the zipper together so you can have something sticking out (e.g. a badminton racket) without the risk of the bag jostling open, not to lock the bag shut as a contents theft deterrent (people would probably just steal the whole bag tbh) or as an attachment point for other stuff (they were never designed to actually support meaningful amounts of weight).

That was a bug. Confirmed by the time between locations many on Reddit showed a similar situation however with only 2 hours between locations. Unless They employed supersonic jets to deliver backpacks, nothing has crossed the pacific in only 2 hours

A note though that once the package is handed over, LTT doesn’t have any countrol over what route it might take. But still can 99% guarantee it did not go to Australia

But I muscled the clip and it seems fine. I just wouldn’t hang the entire backpack from it. Which seems commons sense to me.

I couldn’t get it to break using what I would consider expected force for a zipper clip.

Came in a large box and with these inside. So it’s got the perfect shape still. No fold marks or anything.

also there are certain things that have different tax rates

these things are a little different from country to country

in Norway for example we pay 25% tax for any purchase amount over 300NOK (roughly 30EUR), which includes shipping

so I had to pay $370 iirc for the backpack for example, because $50 shipping + the backpack = $75 tax

if stores could decide the tax rate, it wouldn't be a thing, it would be hidden in the regular prices instead (that's how businesses do it with what money they want to make, they adjust their prices accordingly, then tax comes on top, because governments also wants to make money)

Nick did make a handful of posts regarding backpack shipments on the forum last week. Apparently part of the issue has been them largely being set up to expect ~10k backpacks at a time (i.e. the originally planned wave), but the port madness resulted in them getting more like 25k backpacks (and another 20k screwdrivers) all within the same week which has made an already messy situation even more difficult.
