Wave 1 and first half of wave 2 are going together; so it could entirely make sense that some shipping labels for wave 2 are getting created early

since you don't just ship sequentially, you ship by region (sequentially)

Not really. And that I recall it probably isn’t all at once, but the weight still ends up mattering less than the size. Think about the size of a single backpack and you could probably do something like 100 ratchets at least in that space. 10 backpacks is 1000 ratchets. What makes up a pallet? 20-30?

The ratchets are thinner than the screwdriver, with no boxes. They’re likely just wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap each then shipped in boxes of say 50-100

I’d say shipping the ratchets is actually probably pretty negligible.

Like maybe a $1-3 most per ratchet in their costs

I was actually looking at these a week before he showed it in the wan show, I was actually already thinking of replacing the current ones with these. It’s just a coincidence that he brought it up. And if it was smaller it could work. It’ll be a bit more flexible, but I doubt it’ll break easier
