is it was it not like that before? a small amount of wobble on the shaft is expected

So I was fidgeting with the screw driver, grabbed it by the shaft, snapped my wrist, and flung the bit holder out. When I closed the bit holder, the gap between the handle and the tail cap increased quite a bit. However, this has actually improved the screw driver because I can now grip the tail cap by the gap and pull it out way easier.

yeah pulling out the bit holder is a bit stuff at first, but if you open and close it many times, it does get smoother I think

The trick is to pull at the gap and not with the ribbing

Since you can get way better leverage

For anyone unsure - the screwdriver comes with a set of 12 bits, the bit sets are extra specialty sets you can purchase if you want additional bits for any reason.
