Nope, still sitting right there, but now GPU1 is at a stable 70°C instead of a roasting 82°C.
GPU Boost can only do so much after a certain point, I guess. But that's fine, this is a decent compromise between power and stability.

You need a HD5000 series or newer card from AMD, which is why the HD3600 wouldn't work
AMD + Nvidia doesn't always work well together. You need to have drivers installed for both for it to work
If you have both AMD and Nvidia drivers installed you can try going to configuration > Slots > and adding a new slot for a GPU and see if it adds the R9 200

@timber grove In the Advanced control panel. Right click the folding icon in the task bar and click to open the advanced control. Then Configuration at the top then Slots > Add new slot
Though if it's a R9 270X it might not be worth it. Only going to get around 100K max from that and it will double your power usage.
My advice would be to run the RTX2070 folding and have your monitor plugged in to the R9 270X so you can still play games without disturbing your RTX2070.

Most of the points for F@H is awarded for quick return bonuses... The faster you return the work unit as complete, the more points you get.

Wasnt a past year 100-120, 120-140, etc, where certain ranks got put into pools? Im still a bit confused about the prize tierrs.
100 is obviously the cream of the crop but if my odds of winning in a pool at rank 199 is the same as 500, I’ll adjust my strategy accordingly.

35°C here at the moment and the 1080Ti is coping well at 65°C. Only 30°C over ambient (and it's probably much hotter in the case as well! The HD7970 which is idling is 56°C)

It's also worth noting that if you're overclocking, and you're worried about stability problems or soft-crashes or similar, using an Aura preset like starry night or whatever the twinkling one is called is a good way to notice on sight if it's stopped.
Aura defaults to solid colors in those events.
