But the second time it decided to randomly silence my alarms is when I drew the line and started looking at other options. I was having issues with text selection and abitrary limits like not being able to set the snooze timer to a custom length

I ended up being late to work when I wouldn't wake up to a nearly silent alarm

And it's an unfixed bug that has apparently existed in iOS for many years

The two devices don't connect directly. they connect over the network

The PS5 could be wired, and if the portal had 6e it would 100% benefit, half of the connection is on the Portal to it's access point

networking doesn't quite work like that. when a 6e device is talking to a 5 device it's going to operate at that alower speed becuase the router doesn't read every bit of communication, it establishes the connection then the two devices talk directly over the switch.
