I've fixed a wing before. The inside was interesting. Though like foldables, I just don't place as much stock into mechanical parts lasting as long.

My own zenfone 9 has a camera issue. Where the camera just won't focus past a few inches. I can suspect its a mechanical failure, but it is 100% a hardware failure based on many other people having the same issue. Would require me to spend $200ish to get a replacement part. I wouldn't sent it under warranty had I known, but I also wouldn't have a phone to replace it with for the time being, and don't use the camera too often.
Honestly, the LG wing kind of looks nice as a backup. Given its eBay price of 2-300

Hey all question, last week Luke was talking about call screening. Was he simply referencing the voicemail to text? Or is there something else ?

Call Screening is a feature on Pixels (and iPhones now I think) where when you get a phone call, you can either answer it, decline it, or pick a third option, which is Call Screen.

Basically, the person will talk to Google Assistant (or Siri) and whatever they say will show up on your screen, and then Google Assistant generates 4-5 preset replies for you to tap which it will then say to the person.

During this time, you can decide whether or not you want to pick up the call and talk for real or not.

Yup! Just be aware, don't use it when you're expecting a call from somebody....say like a dinner reservation confirmation saying your table is ready? Or your electrician, who is here to work? If you screen it because it's an unknown number, they'll flat out hang up on you and move on to the next person

Not everybody is used to it, especially in the US where Pixels aren't super common. I imagine as iPhones get the feature, people will become more comfortable with how it works though

Fluent, intuitive UI, tons of functions even in alpha stage I loved about Vanced app, missed in NewPipe and everything just ... works. The idea is brilliant, because you finally dont have to crawl through several platforms.
Floatplane shall have plugin asap, so the tech community gets to enjoy the content and test the app to improve it.
And as we are usually the ones showing such apps to others, it might spread quickly and get some traction to become seriously THE APP for content watching

My friend says this too. I always point out to him that his subs are in the subscriptions section and the home is a mix of whatever. He just says no, that isn't how he uses it and youtube is stupid, they never show him the channels he is subbed to... People simply aren't bright enough to know the difference between two seperate tabs.
