When they catch an issue like that late in production, it gets more complicated to fix. You have to send things back up the pipeline through writing, shooting, voice over, editing, and so on, which has a pretty substantial chance to disrupt whichever projects those teams have started working on after doing their piece on the previous project. I read it less as "I would lose $500 by fixing my issue" and more "it would cost $500 in man hours that would be taken away from other projects and videos". $500 itself isn't a big cost, but the cost of $500 worth of employee time is a lot more than just the money. Especially when working under such tight (self-imposed, of course) deadlines.

I am slowly starting to care less about the main channel, I love technical video's, show downs of operations, tours, fun project like the internet connection over water video. But those 'why is everyone using this mic' video's don't do it for me anymore

Thats on them, they set themselves up to fail like this. I always ensure we have a 15% gap between full capacity (manhours) and workload. So we can fix, prevent, and dedicate more time to projects. Already running at 110% will make it harder to dedicate more time

Regardless if they would actually do it is irrelevant when it's written in policy.

He's talked about how great the benefits are for working at lmg, yet his own handbook shows that they have significantly worse benefits than I did when working at a manufacturing plant. Honestly these benefits are worse than the majority of US companies offer their employees, like legitimately I get better benefits at pretty much every job I've worked at. For a company that is supposed to be a career these benefits are atrocious
