I used to be able to do one sitting, but now that they're frequently 4+ hours it inevitably gets broken up. As long as I choose my break points in between topics and I watch the chunks within a few days it seems fine. If circumstances mean the chunks are more llike a week apart that's a bit less ideal as then it's easy to confuse new time-of-watching news with time-of-wan-recording news or things hinted at hit differently. (e.g. watching the pre april 1st wan show had several hints and nudges towards nfts and other april fools bits, but I ultimately watched that wan show after aprill 1st.)

I'm pretty sure I've seen an entire WAN show before, but never in one sitting. Mostly I watch the first 60-90 minutes on Sat AM, then do something else, fully intending to come back later, but mostly I just forget to.

I doubt it. I imagine they can continue to ride the terms of their original contract, allowing them to both simulcast and carry on with ads and branded things. That's just speculation of course, but I feel like contracts should be governed by the terms at time of signing.

Hard to do when Nintendo doesn't sell the game, and prices get jacked up online. Nintendo isn't making money off of anyone using dolphin.
There's also the argument to be made that if someone is pirating, there's a good chance they didn't have money to buy the game, or weren't going to buy it anyway and just play something else. So regardless, most pirating doesn't lose sales because those sales are likely to have not happened regardless

Would a system similar to verifying with Azure make it a lot more secure where the registration is done on the governments website initially and the users are redirected from the censored site to verify their age that then (the government site being redirected to) have a validation key sent back to the censored site to complete the verification. So some of the verification would ever actually be handled by the site itself.
Also, not taking a stance on the whole thing being good or bad. I'm just intrigued by the security aspect of it and wanted to learn more.

I think Dan has been working to automate some of it as much as he can.
I think this in part is why they've been trying to keep to a shedule on air as much as possible to speed those things up.

Although he doesn't provide any evidence, he claims in his comment section that he has audio and video evidence of Amazon blocking blocking some guy by the name Brandon Jackson because an Amazon delivery driver supposedly reported a customer for racism. I worked as an Amazon driver and I know first hand that Amazon values their customers over their drivers and I don't remember any means of reporting a customer beyond maybe calling my DSP. From a drivers POV this story seems totally made up.

He's got a reputation for being honest, putting out update videos calling himself wrong when he is, and vehemently fighting for consumer rights. He's vocal when he finds out he's wrong or spreads misinformation. Enough so that I would be certain that if he were wrong he would willingly issue a retraction in a new video for it, and discuss that you can't use fake stories to push an agenda because then it helps to delegitimize your argument.
It's entirely possible that the facility and location this employee was at have different rules or different protections for drivers in place where they would report instances. I've seen plenty of other people claiming they're Amazon drivers affirming that if they're in backwoods nowhere and someone approaches them threateningly during a delivery that they would report it and Amazon not deliver to that house anymore.

@neat kiln I personally think that his preconceived biases are leading him to fall for a fake story. As I said I have actual experience working as a driver and it doesn't add up to me. I can see that you seem to have a lot of faith in Louis as being an honorable person but his story seems so far fetched. That is why at the very least I think there must be more to the story and who better to shed some light on this than LTT? I know LTT can be trusted.

I have said in other posts that maybe they called their DSP about someone else but because DSP has access to driver locations maybe they were the ones who gave bad information to Amazon. I just know this notion that a lowly driver caused this is ridiculous. I worked for Amazon delivery over the holidays and Amazon never struck me as the kind of company that cared about their drivers. Their weren't any safety reporting mechanisms beyond calling DSP and 911.
But now it is too late, TechLinked has done regurgitated Rossmann's story as he reported it. 'Darn delivery drivers'

Yeah, I mean I also work for amazon and there's two major things wrong with this story:
- Amazon does not willingly admit fault, ever, even if a customer is lost because of it (admitting fault translates to "feel free to sue me, I'm happy to give you whatever you ask" - it doesn't happen, especially not for a single customer of their retail division)
- Even moreso than the previous, the idea that Amazon would respect an employee (particularly an employee who works in one of their myriad sub-contracting companies for the purposes of hiring drivers and such - they do this specifically so that they can be more abusive) on the matter of a customer interaction to the point that they sever all relations to the customer is absolutely absurd
There's also another point here that they're literally not even the same company, with multiple degrees of separation

How else can you explain why he didn't provide his video and audio evidence in the video or any subsequent video? He has the ability to edit his videos and omit personal information just like he has done in other videos. Have you seen his videos about the $1,600 NY tax authorities' error? The man clearly knows how to share evidence. But in this case all we get is him writing that he has reviewed audio and video evidence. Do you understand how I see it? I worked as a driver for Amazon and although it wasn't the worst money I had ever made they were horrible to work for because it was obvious that they cared very little for their delivery staff. There were no driver protections beyond calling DSP or 911. The way Louis describes it is as though the driver did something. What it is that the driver actually did is not explained. It is not like we had a "report customer button" on our delivery device. You know what we did have? We had an itinerary and very little time for nonsense.

I'm all for this. Some phone designs use tricks that make it nearly impossible to replace a battery without breaking the screen. I tend to use hand me down phones to my son as video watchers. When the batteries have cycled so many times what used to run 4hrs can barely run 1hr.

Louis Rossmann did a video about that story too, and now Amazon sent him a letter accusing him of getting his firends to click his amazon affiliate links and saying they have terminate his amazon affiliate account.
Obviously in retaliation to his story.

Luke already dislikes Amazon quite intensely, so he might want to discuss it I guess.
IIRC Amazon do have some rules related to the number of times an affiliate link can be used in a given time period, so it could be related to that if viewers decided to start spamming them.

Rossmann even points out in his video, the issue isnt so much that they deleted his account. They have a right to cancel membership at their discretion. But they shouldn't lie and come up with BS to cover up their actual reasons.
