Yeah I wanted to play some best saber and so haven’t played in a while. Took me like 15 minutes to get into it. Had to create a new account and split my Facebook away from oculus, then had to update then had to pair my device to my new account then had to update beat Sabre and finally was able to play

Hopefully the bugs are mostly fixed but I doubt it. Whenever the Q2 came out the Q1 OS updates have gone downhill

I think as of right now hes probably right, but i think that number could go down to 10-20 years depending on the next next round of headsets. Feels to me like true AR is in its first gen with this round of Meta Pro and other high end headsets. I wanna see what both manufacturers and the community do next year or the following year when this stuff has been in peoples hands longer. Especially when we learn what we can strip from it to improve AR on older headsets through community support, if anything.

BMI has it's uses especially if you fall into the demographic for what it was developed from. Namely 20-40 year white males 5'8"-6'2". Outside of that it's not great and even in that the variation on skeletal and muscle mass can skew it significantly. As someone losing a significant amount of weight current it's a decent metric. I'm down From 400lbs to 234lbs in a year. BMI was 54 now 32. My BF% has dropped from 53% to 22%...now however the BMI calculator gets iffy for me because I'm starting to build a lot of muscle so the calculator will start to be less useful as I approach 200lbs. The calculator says I should be 175-180lbs but a healthy weight for my muscle and skeletal mass will be 195-205lbs

ehh, in my experience stream reminders are separate completely from streams. when you set up a stream reminder it just creates the page for the stream before* it actually starts. then people join that and the display shows "stream scheduled for [countdown timer](which gets replaced by starting soon)" and that display gets replaced automattically when you start a stream from obs or any restreaming system. it's basically just reserving the landing page.

Sounds like they’re expressing confusion why people expect AAA/realistic graphics out of Pokémon in general, not just good performance out of this specific release.

I don't know, maybe they're going for the nostalgia hit of the N64...my wife said that as she played Arceus, the consistent 24 FPS with drops down to 3 FPS reminded her of the original Ocarina of Time, but with slightly worse performance

hey, I remember a WAN show in the past 2 months that talked about how your graphics card can spy on you?

I dont remember the exact topic but it was definitely related to how certain newer graphics cards, especially NVIDIA have a vulnerability in that you could spy on them by being physically close to them and reading some metric given off by their graphics cards

So, get this, I'd ordered some simple usb C extenders a while back, but they sent me an 7 in 2 hub by mistake.
$5 item, received a $60 item instead that does a totally different thing than what I'd ordered.

Sadly, it's an Anker hub meant for MacBooks, but I have no Mac. So I just use it with one of the other extenders I did receive. Lol.
