When you look at Gamers Nexus and they go really in depth and seem to make enough money to keep it going (though they do fund a lot via merch). I guess it's kinda viable. Plus there has been sites like Jonny Guru that did Power Supplies only and made it work before he joined Corsair.

I don't think it'll be easy, but I could see them for instance having LTT certification and allowing their logo on product boxes. I used to work for a review site (this is 2003 lol) and we would license our logo and I even bought products like RAM that had our logo on the back as reviewed 5 stars, they paid us to put that on the packaging.

It would be that LTT has lab results confirming their claims and afterwards the product maker could come to LTT and say, can we put that you certified it on the box etc - Which is one avenue even Linus said they could pursue on a previous WAN show.

But essentially there is a lot of ways they could monetise and no one thing will make it break even. They need to produce written content, video content, they need probably more merchandise, maybe some cert stuff etc lots of things combined.

Also something you may not be aware of, the sites that review products make a lot of money from affiliate marketing. Which if they're going to test 100+ keyboards (like they said in their last Labs video) that is potentially a lot of people coming from google looking for in depth analysis that then click through to buy the product.

Yeah this is an issue i've tried to bring up a numerous occasions. Podcast / Audio releases should be same night, not the next week. They don't even edit the audio version what so ever so it shouldn't be that difficult. However, the answer I was given is that the staff takes weekends off therefore it'll wait till Monday.

Another major issue is the audio levels / volume. Its about -10db lower than every other professional podcast around. Makes episode switching a nightmare when the next show is explosive to one's ears.
