Yeah, highly recommend it if you use Windows 11. Again, it's just 7Zip but it integrates in Windows 11 UI better. You can get it directly from the Microsoft Store too for autoupdates and whatnot. Either that or you can download it separately if you'd like. With 7Zip on Windows 11 you'd have to click, "Show more options" everytime you want to zip/unzip a file. Nanazip integrates directly into the new right click menu. It also just looks better in comparison to standard 7Zip. I only use NanaZip for a long time now.

They're not scared about that. Even if Windows OS Share decreases a little bit now, enterprises are not going to be making the jump. That's where the money is for them. And there's no other OS that can be this easy for gaming like Windows. The numbers are just way too high for MS, for them to be caring about Macbook Neo and SteamOS. I don't mind the new right click menu. It looks better and is more useful. The old one had too many third party app integrations into it which made it extremely cluttered and it cannot be changed without breaking backwards compatibility. The current situation is a good compromise.

If I need to use 7zip, that's like a rare thing so I shift + right click. For everything else, I can just use the normal right click.

But what I would like is an option in the settings to let people choose what kind of right click menu do they want. Keep it default to "Modern" but let people select "Classic" as well.

For CSE AIML, it depends on the kind of courses you have. In some colleges, there's courses of electronics that are included for the CSE students also and some software might be there which just works on Windows. If you are fine with completing those works in the lab itself, then a mac should be fine.

LOQ is a good option except for battery life. You'll have better software support, you will also be able to upgrade it later on. And if you do any work in Linux, you can install that as well. You can also play games if you want to on the LOQ. I dont know if you plan on doing that or not but if you have any interest in gaming, then LOQ is a good option.
