@topaz veldt made a bit of a boo-boo - the cheap Corsair 12v2x6 cable was a 90 degree one, and with these monster cards, it barely fits with the next card sitting right next to it. But seems like i managed to plug it in and the card works, so i guess i plugged it right (as it is 2x6, so it shouldn't work unless i plugged it in all the way). But man it is tight in there.
