Hello, I was cleaning out / dusting and cable managing the back part of my pc when all of a sudden when I go to turn it back on, it does turn on and the fans spin and everything but the moment I wait for a signal from the monitors, there is none. The monitors are plugged into the gpu, and have power I just don’t know if they are recieving anything from the gpu. The gpu is on and running well, I just cant seem to get any signal to the keyboard, monitors and maybe mouse. Ive tried multiple tutorials and reddit posts looking for advice but genuinely I haven’t found anything that works, and at some given point my pc ended up restarting repeatedly every 7-10 seconds after powering on.

I tried reinstalling the graphics card, ram, cpu fan, tried removing and reinstalling the kts cr2032 battery, and a second ssd just in case the first one stopped working all of a sudden

I have it narrowed down between the Super Flower Leadex III PE 1000 and a Corsair i-Series 1000W. I have been looking at the Shift HX1000i, and I have a Fractal Design 7XL case that has been verified by Corsair to be compatible. I am also running the Corsair iCUE ecosystem for fans, KB and mouse.

I find the iCUE features in the Corsair PSU interesting, but I'm not sure it is worth the investment since the iCue Link is not compatible with my current fans. I also have a custom cable for power delivery to a BluRay drive and a SSD jump bay that I would like to keep. Both PSUs are equipped with 2x6 12V power connectors.

What are your thoughts and recommendations?

@topaz veldt the worst realization about my AI box - unless i go riser card disgusting mess, there is no way to get more than 2 modern GPUs on a motherboard like X399 Taichi, even with 4 PCIe slots (x8 or x16) 😄

reason is the damn coolers. Even "SFF" GPUs are 2.5 slots. So first GPU in first slot blocks the 2nd slot, and the 2nd GPU in 3rd slot blocks the 4th slot 😄

Update on this whole thing, you're definitely right about Intel and the 13900K loadline and whatnot being fucked up. Instead of doing a 1.4v limit I decided to try a 1.45v IA VR limit (with LLC still set to 6 instead of 4) and after a couple weeks I still haven't had it even hit 1.4v. For reference during some gaming loads and whatnot the CPU would hit 1.45v or even slightly higher. May not have been constant, but those were the maximums. I think I only saw the CPU request 1.5 or close to it once, but I never saw the actual Vcore hit that. Point is, Intel Vdroop/load line/Core VIDs/whatever is definitely fucky. You can tell the CPU to no exceed 1.45v, which it would normally hit, and it will be like, "Sure thing boss, I'll make 1.376v my absolute peak!"

i mean i don't need more than 2 GPUs, so i am fine. Just feels weird seeing that the board got 4x x16 slots (two of them only x8 electrically) - and due component sizes half of them are blocked. The $45 HOTAS stick I found has 12 buttons by itself and a throttle slider, so a dedicated throttle stick would - from my perspective - only serve as an extra instrument that I'd already have

Well, I used to average around 4-6 hours of daily playtime when uninterrupted, and I'd need atleast like 4 sessions to get used to it, so that's $7.5 an hour daily, but with said 4 sessions of getting used to it, that'd be $1.875
