QD-OLED Pros: panel uniformity, pure color, and infinite viewing angles
Cons: washes out and turns magenta when room light hits the screen

W-OLED Pros: more normal subpixel layout, and doesnt wash out
Cons: less HDR color volume, and worse panel uniformity

as for brands i would stick to Asus, MSI, or Gigabyte if possible because they have the best firmware, and the most calibration controls in the OSD

i personally prefer W-OLED because the contrast loss and magenta tint on QD-OLED annoys me, but a lot of people rightfully love the tech

My whole world is rocked.

My laptop turned out to be defective. And this is the 3rd defective laptop in a row and now parents not letting me return this one as they are sick, and calling me stupid etc.

So basically first one kept crashing and WiFi and Bluetooth had issues. Second one was begging very hot, abnormal for that model and severe throttling.

Now this is crashing second I put it under OCCT. 10 seconds in, it freezes up. Only OCCT combined CPU + GPU. but not in other tests.

How is this even possible 3 unrelated laptops in a row being like this. This is unacceptable. Something is seriously wrong with QC in my region
